Royal Jet have had no serious activity regarding the sale of the BBJ to date. However the bad news is there isn't a whole lot of incentive for selling the aircraft immediately The end of Ramadan is coming on June 26th. After Ramadam they have a lot of charter booked on the aircraft right through until the end of July ( my guess is 80-100 hours ) As a matter of fact they have even had meetings recently to discuss whether or not to keep the aircraft because their charter business is improving. The aircraft has an extensive C-Check do at the end of July so the comments came back to me as follows: IF you still wanted to buy the aircraft somewhere in the 16's , would you consider re-instating an Offer whereby an L.O.I. could be negotiated and signed NOW , but acceptance and pre-buy would take place in Switzerland concurrent with the C-Check. The Sellers have to pay for the C-Check anyway so this could be the Buyers pre-buy . Closing at the end of the C-Check ( mid August - Sept 1st ) If these terms could be agreed upon today then Seller might be negotiate to a lower price .
