BY CREATING THIS ROAD DEDICATED TO TRUCK TRAFFIC, IT ALLOWS FOR A MORE PRONOUNCED DESIGN FOR THE GUEST ENTRANCE LEADING TO THE MAIN BUILDING COMPLEX. THIS NEW GUEST ENTRANCE IS INITIATED WITH TWO PAN/II-LIONS ON EACH SIDE OF THE MAIN AXIS. THE BEGINNING OF THE ROAD TO THE MAIN BUILDING COMPLEX IS REROUTED SLIGHTLY IN ORDER TO CROSS THE TRUCK ROAD AT A FEASIBLE POSITION. THIS POSITIONING TAKES INTO ACCOUNT BOTH VISUAL INTEREST AND THE PHYSICAL CONSTRAINTS OF THE LAND. SHOULD THIS PROPOSAL BE OF INTEREST TO THE CLIENT. A DETAILED SURVEY WOULD NEED TO BE CONCUCTED IN ORDER TO FINALIZE STRUCTURAL DESIGN AND GRADING, AS WELL AS A DETAILED PLANTING SCHEME. INSTEAD, THE GUEST ENTRANCE IS GIVEN VISUAL PROMINENCE BY CUTTING OFF THE MAIN VISUAL AXIS WITH A PAVILLION AND PLANTINGS, AND BY CUTTING A SEMI-CIRCULAR NICHE WHERE THE EXISTING GUEST ENTRANCE ORIGINATES. A CHANGE IN PAVEMENT AND THE INSTITUTION OF PILLARS ON EACH SIDE OF THE GUEST ROAD TO THE MAIN COMPLEX FURTHER DISTINGUISHES THIS ENTRANCE. TRUCK ACCESS, HOWEVER, IS ENHANCED THROUGH A WIDENING OF THE EXISTING ROAD (AS SHOWN ON THE AERIAL PHOTO TO THE RIGHT). AS WITH OPTION I, A DETAILED SURVEY WOULD NEED TO BE CONCUCTED IN ORDER TO FINALIZE STRUCTURAL DESIGN AND GRADING, AS WELL AS A DETAILED PLANTING SCHEME. EFTA R1_01480984 EFTA02416579
