Jeffrey,
All our scanners are down so the drawings are sent to you via fax.
The concept is an abstraction of the coral stone tile flooring we have throughout our existing
hardscape.
The mad tile would be 4'x4' or 5'x5' and would be made out of the stamped concrete with the
coral stone finish.
Drawing A: Embedded in the tile would be real coral and shells. As in the real coral stone tile, I
would like to abstract the creatures and forms of the sea in a large scale and scatter them
throughout the road, large scale coral, starfish, etc. These would be mosaics done in crushed
coral stone.
Drawing B: In other areas, I thought we could do abstractions of shadows, done in black
concrete, plants and birds, etc.
Drawing C: What do you think about a sundial at the road convergence near the heipad? I'd like
to do something bold and graphic here.
Let me know what you think.
