Comment as discussed referring to revised Drawings dated 052710 sent Thursday afternoon (Not the previous
set of drawings sent & dated May 20):
No terraces or planters with retaining walls between the Pool building and Cinema . A-00I, A-002, and A-003
(052710)
Additional Guest Bedroom by the north side of the Living Area will be underground, totally invisible from
above. Access noted on the additional space north of existing small office: "Future location of Stairs" (Drawing
A-003 - 052710)
Programme for Entry Pavilion for the Pool: Is the Lounge can be used as a small office/massage area? (Drawing
A-003 - 052710) The interior stairs on the north side is going to the water treatment room in the basement. The
massage rm./small office on the north-east corner of the Pool might become an open terrace.
Access to Pool Pavillion: Secondary entry on the north, by the terrace; Main entry on the south, by the lawn.
(Drawing A-003 - 052710) Pool Pavilion's ground is about 4'-6" below the current livingroom terrace, hence the
stairs outside form the terrace to secondary entry (@north)
Master Bathroom general Finish: Mont Blanc Glass Stone by Coverings ETC - Gary has been in contact with
supplier in NY; Accent walls surrounding tubs, shower, steam room and general floor: Marble (TBD) - Shelley
and RCI will shop for more samples.
Master Bathroom: Current layout: bathtub is not on axis with the entry door. The middle marble paneled
(elevation E2 and E6/A-005-052010) is on axis of the entry door, with R+L uninterrupted seams travelling
down to the tub deck and apron. This marble panel is right across from the door entering the bathroom. Need an
optional layout with a large corner tub. Noted. New Reflected Ceiling Plan. Noted. Need flat/low small cornice
detail between the stone glass walls and existing cedar ceiling. Noted.
Steam Room: Lower ceiling to 7'-6". Noted. Exterior walls enclosing steam room can be dropped below
existing comice/gutter.
Living Area: Larger middle door at the rear (facing the sea) flanking by two smaller doors; Need to revise
rhythm of stone columns. Noted.
Kitchen: Double acting doors to Pantry has to be attractive or hidden behind cabinetry. Kitchen designer and
manufacturer has been selected (same as the one used in Santa Fe (?))
EFTA00753323
. Access from Living Area/Kitchen to Master Bedroom Suite and Library; To be revised as per Gary's sketch
(enclosed). Noted.
I'll be out of town and be back in the office on Wednesday.
Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!
Best,
