For technical reasons/problems I was not able to load all of the maps or photos I wanted to. Should this property interest in any way, I have a large amount of photos, maps, documentation such as business plan for the luxury hotel and a video film for computer. I could copy all of this onto a USB-Stick device and send this by post if you and / or your client so wish. This all could of course never substitute a visit and an in personam impression of intimacy, of being transported into a different, problem-free dimension and of the sensation of a superbly unique and in Italy possibly unequalled premium estate and world of its own. To quote from my notes after my first visit a month or two ago: If one meanders along the little street behind the buildings of the Villa, a street that lies to the edge the northern of the two valleys of the far-stretching property of the domain, one does not only repeatedly get past areas of partly bundled together buildings of a by-gone beauty. The chapel, the area collected in an oval space leading to the upward sloping espalier of cypresses, also the single houses and even a larger church with its own hamlet. - One feels the charm of this ensemble and experiences an atmosphere of the often quoted, here however true, good old times of a world free of worries, this world of gone by ages. This trouble-free world is all pervading here. EFTA01156573 Stepping from here into the dreamlike, beautiful park, with its mighty hedges, seemingly bulwarks of hedges, behind which adorable details of garden-architecture and perfectly positioned statues await the visitor, all this bedded into the gentle and yet dramatic slopes of the valley's encircling walls, giving wonderful vistas and the park with its fountains, water-games and the serene 17th Century Villa, laying perfectly in the axis of vision, one truly feels as though in paradise. This is what the nobleman Gregorio Barbarigo, priest and later cardinal, the son of the founder of this villa and its grounds intended, when he made his mark on the design and layout of the gardens and wanted to bring the heavenly peace to this fortunate part of Italy. Gregorio was later made a saint. This is therefore a Saint's Garden, so to speak — but even more so literally.
