(I have spoke to Carluz about this already) Specific to the front entrance, the size of the step at the bottom is almost 16 ft. Now the reality of leaving that top step the same height it will be necessary to remove and chisel out that material rather than mudset directly to the existing surface. This requires even more time. I think that the additional area at the driveway level will look nice however it does require more material and each of those pieces for an additional length of 16 ft must be removed, hauled out and disposed of. The additional material cost is approx. $600 and additional labor cost (at cost) for our crew, trucks, trailer, saws and equipment for the day is $1,800. These cost will need to be added to the cost for a total of an additional $2,400. The additional time for the lower part requested at the driveway level will take approx. 1 1/2 days. EFTA01017901 I checked availability and have reserved material. In terms of scheduling we are scheduled the rest of this week and next week with other projects. Depending on Mr. Epstein's schedule we can likely start a week from this Friday which Nov 2 or Monday Nov 5. I want to utilize the same crew that has been doing the work since they are familiar with the property. Once we begin it is likely 10 - 12 working days including cleaning and sealing. If you or Carluz would let me know Mr. Epstein's schedule we will coordinate timing. I will stay in touch with you on the outside circular stairway at the pool deck.
