At the end of each year at Pandora we always pause to take a look back. 2011 was quite something. We have much to be thankful for. This year I wanted to give a particular acknowledgement to the musicians that make all this possible. It's easy to take for granted the talent and hard work of the tens of thousands of talented artists who, to our great benefit, and most often against the advice of friends, family, (and financial advisors!), have chosen to make music their life. It has long been the central mission of Pandora to help working artists, and nothing brings us more excitement than the possibility, which now seems to be within our reach, of actually being able to make a difference for them. So as we celebrate 2011 and look forward to the future, we salute all you musicians. May 2012 bring another year of artistic inspiration for all of us to enjoy.
