I have been chatting a little bit with my production group on creating your custom notepads. From our past experience and expertise, I have some notes to share with you. 1. Have you used a notepad like this before? My production group is advising on the use of a top cover instead of the open binding you showed me. The reason for this is that as you use the notepad, the gumming/binding at the top will start to collapse and start ripping off. So eventually the top cover could fall off and then you are left with a gummy mess at the top that will not be too attractive. Does this make sense? Please see my attachment with photos of a solution we use so that the artwork on the cover is preserved no matter what level of sheets are left on the pad. 2. I am researching other paper stocks we can use for your notepads. Let me know what you think.
