We are completely striking out on the seamless divan cushion option. We called both Gulfstream and International Jet
Interiors. Maybe it's something they can do for other models, but not the G650?

Barry,
I am only waiting for the information from Gulfstream on the cost to convert a current manual divan to an electric and
also the added weight to the aircraft when this change is made.
You will see on the sheet that we provide a comment about a mattress option from Gulfstream for a divan with the
pricing and a note about it being a "3 piece unit that sits on top of the divan cushions". Below is the picture Gulfstream
provided of that mattress which they said is made by a vendor called Primadonna Mattress (www.primadonnalux.com
<http://www.primadonnalux.com> ).
As you can see in the picture there are still two seams but they do run outboard to inboard when a passenger lays in a
forward to aft direction to sleep. The direction of the seams may not be as much of an issue or you can put a thin
mattress cover over these similar to what Richardson showed in their video which they just put on top of the current
divan cushions.
I asked Gulfstream about the option of removing all the cushions and putting a dedicated custom mattress, they said
they have never been asked or made anything of that nature. They did not rule out that someone could have a large
one piece mattress made up with Velcro to secure it on the bottom but they have never been asked or heard of an
owner doing that for their aircraft.

Tom also called International Jet Interiors (www.intljet.com <http://www.intljet.com> ) the shop that the other G650
owner said they had used for a divan mattress. They confirmed to Tom that their mattress is something that is made to
go on top of the existing divan cushions when the divan is in the sleeping position. They also confirmed that they would
not be able to do any modification to a G650 divan due to a lack of proprietary engineering information that only
Gulfstream has and will not release to third parties. We are familiar with this shop, while we have not worked with
them directly others we know in the industry speak highly of them for other work they have done.
