F,
Here are the names collected to date. I know many of these folks and there's a wide range in how people are
smart, so one of the questions is -- what experience would be interesting to you, what outcomes would be
interesting or is this primarily about a good time in the moment.
A thought I've had is to work with Brockman to do an "Edge" conference -- could start small and scale. Some of
the names on Roger's list are people JB knows well, like Kahneman, who is absolutely genius, fascinating. As
long as there's not much work involved for Brockman, this might work. And TED has lost the sort of science
that once was there -- some of these folks might be interested in another venue.
My birthday is tomorrow. Not such a big deal except that, in surprise acts of sweetness, different groups of
friends are hosting parties tonight and tomorrow night and I've volunteered to make some things.... so today and
tomorrow -- a little jammed. Wednesday a.m. is open.
Looking forward to talking!

some quick questions:
I. how many?
are you comfortable with as many as 50 people? 100?
2. do you want to run this Foo style? as an unconference?
it works well, we can get the Foo folks to help.
3. in West Palm? do you have a venue there that you like?
want to make sure you can attend and that we plan around that.
4. do you have an office support person who can help with logistics/administration?
5. Any target date in mind? these folks often need at least 6 months.
