I'm writing to you because you represented a client who might be interested in a case I've submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court (docket no. 17-1564 on the S/C website) in which I argue, among other things, that the CT quarterly sex offender address verification law violates a long line of precedent holding that laws which encourage arbitrary enforcement are unconstitutionally vague. But it's not the power of my legal arguments, of which I have no doubt and of which I have no doubt that you will have no doubt if you read my Petition, which may interest your client. It's the potentially explosive revelation of the bias of a Federal District Court Judge against sex offenders which led him to cite a case for a proposition for which that case clearly did not stand in order to defeat my claim. It's so explosive that the mainstream media, pundit and legal types whom I've attempted to engage have retreated into silence. Your client, I'm sure, has connections in those worlds far beyond anything I could dream of. While you have the authority to convince him of the truth of my claim. And once you convince him, I'm hoping he'll use those connections to help level the playing field between those who judge and those who are judged by exposing the hypocrisy and bias of at least this one particular judge.
