That could be 100k for five years. Mcchrystal knows there aren't 500k to troops to support oef. There is roughly 16k per combat division. In the first gulf war we had 500k troops on the ground and 10 divisions, which is all we have now. Or perhaps that is what he says he wants understanding there is no way to have it. But for his piece of the pie he should be asking for troops.
