The NYS Sex Offender Registration Act requires level 3 offenders to have a photograph
taken every year. Level 1 and level 2 offenders must have their photographs taken every 3
years.
To comply with this law, your photograph must be taken at your local police department
between March 26, 2019 and May 5, 2019. Please call the Virgin Islands Dept of Justice -
Sex Offender Registry to schedule a date and time to have your photograph taken.
If you have moved, call the police department where you live now. The police will send the
photograph to the NYS Sex Offender Registry.
Failure to have your photograph updated is a felony.
