The trailer that came with the Nautica boat has one of the 3 axles is corroded to he point it's not supporting, When we purchased the boat, Ed Hinckely didn't mention that the boat was not sitting on the trailer that was included, he borrowed it from Nick's Marine, that's how I transported the boat to Fort Lauderdale, when we removed the boat and placed on paint dolly, I retuned the trailer to Nicks marine, and picked up our trailer, it was rough but thought it would be fine for shipping the boat„ after further investigation, Richard at the paint shop informed he wouldn't trust our trailer for shipping„or towing to dock for sea trail„ Photos below of the corroded axle„ To be safe, I've sourced a New trailer for $7000 we could purchase, it has weight bearing capacity of 21,000Ibs, these photos are attached., Could be necessary to have a good trailer for the Nautica when removing the boat during hurricane season.,since it's a heavy boat., Should I try to source a used trailer for less money or purchase the new one for $7000 plus Tax? Seller originally wanted $7800 Pls advise?
