We will be organizing a conference in Long Island in the Bahamas by early January, like 5 to 12 of January, we think Long Island is different from other resort beach enviroments since it is almost totally undeveloped and therefore will offer very little distraction opportunities, in this case the environment is very inspiring but also very quiet and inviting for deep thought, so we think your suspitions that people will be distracted and not work to much may not be true, well , we invite you to see it with your own eyes!, all the best, Eduardo From: thin tram Sent: Thursday, May 07, 2015 2:10 AM To: jeffrey E. Gravitation, Astrophysics and Cosmology, coordinator Alexander Vilenkin, Tufts University , 2. Dark Matter, coordinator Pierre Sikivie, University of Florida 3. Collider physics and field theory in general, Zvi Bern, UCLA 4. Mathematical physics, including string theory, Thom Curtright and his colleagues, could use Thoms proposal as a basis. Looks OK to me. Except I would suggest Charles Thorne as the mathematical physics/string theory person. Not to overload with U of Florida people, of course, but Charles is extraordinary. EFTA00666812 Were we to look outside the US, Eric Bergshoeff (U of Groeningen), Lars Brink (Chalmers), Claudio Bunster (Valdivia), Tohru Eguchi (Tokyo), Marc Henneaux (Solvay Institute), Bernard Julia (Ecole Normale), and Paul Townsend (Cambridge) also come to mind. I could easily work with any of the above people, no problems will arise, expect a smooth progress. Same here. Best, Thom Curtright EFTA00666813
