inspiration to teach has came from.

Dear Jeff,
Hello again! As you heard, I am graduating this June from High School. I have worked very hard all through
school, but these last four years I have put my all into obtainin all the experience that my high school has to offer.
Along with being a member of since my Sophomore year, I am also a
and I am on the . I love being in this leadership position, and being able to connect with the other
students especially the younger students that might be struggling to fit in at the high school.
Being with people and helping o le has alwa s been ve important to me. Last year I corn leted a year long intern and
study in education with the group ' My fifth grade teacher, helped me get over a
learning curve I had ran into. She noticed that I had a little bit of and that with extra attention I could move on and be
successful in the future. Her diligence inspired me to want to be like her someday. I went back to fifth grade
classroom last year to try and learn all I could from her. Unfortunatly, this program doesn't exist in my school any longer, but I
still keep in touch with her, and I learned more in her classroom, and by her example than I ever thought possible.
Keeping involved and being a leader helps me keep perspective of what's really important in our lives, and helps me to feel
like I am making a little bit of a difference in the world through the people I come in contact with. I joined the
EFTA00904925
la group at my school last year, and I returned this year as well. I believe that younger kids really need roll models to
help them see what they can do with their lives. The a program provides that very thing for young
children. Together, we go to Elementary schools and show them that you don't need to do things like use Tobacco to fit in at
the High School and feel happy. I love presenting to these kids and knowing that someday in their future, they might be able to
think back about the 'cool' older kids who came to their school and showed them that they can be happy and have friends, and
they don't have to do anything they don't want to.
For the past two years I have been the President of . The President is selected by
and other adult leaders. I was so honored that I was selected out of all of the other girls at my to work directly
with my leaders to plan activities, look out for the well being of the youth in my area, and act as a leader towards my peers.
While I was youth group President I learned how to run a meeting by myself, present to large groups, and maintain an
atmosphere where all kids of people can feel comfortable.
My Faith is very important to me and I know it has had an enormous impact on the wa I have turned out toda It has also
lead me to the apply . It's a small school in
It is my dream to further my education and become a teacher when I am older, and at this point the only thing standing
between me and my dream is the monetary aspect of obtaining an education. I have applied for multiple scholarships, and will
be applying for government financial very soon. The economy makes the competition for financial assistance so hard that
nothing is guaranteed. I haven't heard back from any financial assistance programs yet.
I would be so thankful for any help that I could receive, and thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Hope all is well,
and the sun is shining!
Sincerely.
