The GU Politics Convention Ambassadors Program offers Georgetown students the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to the Democratic and Republican conventions for a behind-the-scenes look at the party nomination process. While in Cleveland and Philadelphia, Convention Ambassadors will volunteer with host committess, media outlets, and other organizations; attend meetings with high profile political figures; take part in events; and meet students from other Institutes of Politics (IOPs). GU Politics is pleased to be able to cover the cost of housing and transportation for all Ambassadors. Ambassadors will be responsible for covering the cost of most meals.
