This drawing shows the kitchen with the terrace, Jeffrey then thought the terrace should be removed, then after your visit he
thought the people in the kitchen would be looking down at the pool.
I think the terrace might compound the access down and people on the terrace may be more intrusive to the pool.
Your studies will help determine the solution.
