From: Richard Kahn To: "Jeffrey E." <[email protected]> Subject: Lulls Date: Wed, 29 Nov 2017 23:33:11 +0000 Attachments: JLG-Telehandler-Brochure.pdf The Lull that Bosco and Tap think is most suitable is JLG G10-55A Below is a link on the specs: I am told that these machines with proper maintenance should last 10,000 hours I estimate that we will use machine approximately 2,000 hours per year (40 hours per week x 50 weeks) so machine should last 3-4 years and therefore i believe buying a used machine would be best.. I tried to focus my search in the 2000-4000 hour range as well as 60-80k cost attached are some general listings so you can get an idea of the many lulls 75k-HE that are full of rust.. https://www.machinerytrader.comilistings/construction-equipmentifor-sale/listflmanu=jIg&mdltxt=g10- 55a&inforequestdelay=1&errinfo=timeout&err=10 https://www.machinio.cornaistings/15359728-2018-j1g-g10-55a-in-sacramento-ca My concern with buying equipment is always the unknowns under the hood that i am unable to get comfortable with. In speaking with 4-5 JLG dealers i came across a few reconditioned units whereby they take an old frame (usually 2007-2012) and upgrade the following: Paint, Tires at least 70% or New, New Hydraulics, New Boom Hoses These dealers are governed by OSCHA and must adhere to strict guidelines Buying one of these units takes away concerns of us getting stuck with a lemon... One of these units that just sold for 72,900 was a 2012 JLG G10-55A with 1,914 engine hours https://www.machinerytrader.c omit istings/construct on-equ ipmentifor-sale/11417711/2012-j1g-g10-55a The best options currently are as follows: I) 2008 JLG G10-55A (reconditioned) - with 3,150 engine hours $68,900 delivered to Tropical Shipping from Wisconsin https://buffaloforklift.com/collections/forklifts/products/2008-j1g-g10-55a-10000-1b-diesel-telescopic-forkli ft- telehandler-pneumatic-4wd-stock-bf9646549-759-wi 2) 2011 JLG G10-55A with 4,100 engine hours $69,950 plus delivery to Tropical Shipping from Georgia (estimated $1,500) = $71,450 EFTA00945355 http://www.aerialtitansinc.corn/inventory/?/1istings/construct on-equ ipment/for-sale/20705511/2011-j Ig-g10-55a? dIr— I &pcid=3320257&ftr=1 3) 2014 JLG G10-55A - with 2,375 engine hours $85,000 plus delivery to Tropical Shipping from West Virginia (estimated $2,500) = $87,500 http://www.machinefinder.com/ww/en-US/machines/2014-j lg-g10-55a-telehandler-4618565/print 4) 2011 JLG G10-55A(reconditioned) with 2,000 engine hours $80,000 plus delivery to Tropical Shipping from Georgia (estimated $3,500) = $83,500 link on bottom right of page https://www.aerialtitans.com/10000lb--greater Unfortunately due to hurricanes these machines have been in high demand and sellers are not moving much on price however i will try to negotiate another 3-5% off above prices.. once you decide on a lull to purchase i still would like to have an inspection done by a professional and or Bosco/Tap i will also review attachments (universal bucket / gravel bucket) with Bosco and Tap which will probably cost another 3000-5000. tropical shipping will be another 6500-7000 please advise thank you Richard Kahn HBRK Associates Inc. 575 Lexington Avenue 4th Floor New York, NY 10022 tel fa EFTA00945356
