Would Templeton Foundation be a logical partner to work on Pritzker Consortium http://www.pritzkerneuropsvch.orq/ The short version is that for 25 years we have been funding work on psychiatric disease (schizophrenia, bipolar and depression). These diseases afflict a remarkable percent of the population (one in three during a lifetime), research is relevant to the biology of the brain which in many ways is one of the great frontiers and tools are now appearing that increase research opportunities. Ten years ago we set up the consortium and crafted a pretty novel approach. We now have the "A" team in terms of studying brain circuits, genetics etc. The question is whether this would tickle Templeton's fancy. I can go on as the sole funder and would only want a partner if they were like minded and easy to work with. tjp *********************************************************** The information contained in this communication is confidential, may be attorney-client privileged, may constitute inside information, and is intended only for the use of the addressee.
