When she arrived she looked for work through an employment agency. learned of this employment agency through a newspaper ad. Through this agency she was connected with JEFFREY EPSTEIN. gets hired and works for EPSTEIN for 6 years. She worked for them the entire time before she goes back to California, sometime around the summer noted that it was after 9/11. After finished high school she attended in Los Angeles and worked in fashion in Los Angeles. She wanted to continue fashion in New York but worked as an executive assistant instead. first interviewed at the employment agency and then was sent to "JE EPSTEIN". The job was assistant to the legal counsel. During the interview she met with two lawyers. was then sent to GHISLAINE MAXWELL and then sent to EPSTEIN. After this got the job. For the MAXWELL interview, waited for her in the office. The receptionist tells to go downstairs to do the interview in the town car because MAXWELL was rushed. They drove around while she was being interviewed and then was dropped back at the office to be interviewed by EPSTEIN. MAXWELL conducts a basic interview asking about experience and asked if her relationship didn't work out would she stay in New York. For the interview conducted by EPSTEIN, was tired from waiting all day. It was a short interview and she was hired the next day. Her job responsibilities were paper filing for the attorneys and sending faxes. reported to JEFF SCHANTZ for about the first 6 months. MAXWELL's assistant called in sick one day and stepped in to help MAXWELL out that day. The assistant's name was MIRIAM; she was French. After this, MAXWELL picked up as her permanent assistant. then worked at for both MAXWELL and the lawyers. would have to deal with lots of phone calls working for MAXWELL. She would connect MAXWELL with others, kind of like an operator. Each morning, MAXWELL would tell a list of things to do such as booking appointments, phone calls and purchasing books. EPSTEIN had just purchased the island which had much to do with helping making calls for it. mostly dealt with MAXWELL for this but sometimes EPSTEIN. states there was another assistant at the 71 street address and they also had "runners" to pick up purchases. does not recall their names. During the time was working for MAXWELL, she believed MAXWELL's roll was an estate manager. She would prep the properties. When MAXWELL was in the office she was like an office manager but she got her direction from EPSTEIN. At one point EPSTEIN and MAXWELL were a couple. understood that because they would sometimes arrive together or it would be obvious that they spent the weekend together. They acted like a couple in the office. first impression of MAXWELL was that she liked her. She was someone that could look up to. She was pretty, spoke 5 languages, charismatic, a wealthy woman. She had lots of needs and was pretty demanding. It was a very busy job and very fast paced. was constantly dealing with furnishing of the different properties, credit card receipts, auctioning and purchases. They tried to have all properties ready by Thursday so when EPSTEIN traveled on the weekends all of the properties were ready. MAXWELL and EPSTEIN traveled a lot together during this time period. MAXWELL also traveled separately sometimes. first impressions of EPSTEIN were that he was casual for someone with that much money. He would wear slippers and sweatshirts. He was not too personable and not really friendly. EPSTEIN would come into the office, usually on a daily basis when he was in New York. There was almost never small talk between and EPSTEIN. would connect MAXWELL on phone calls with her mother, brothers and mostly friends. She would also make calls for facials, hair and doctor appointments. never went to other EPSTEIN properties. She went to the house on 71st street a few times. At the house she would meet RICH BARNETT (security) and LYN FONTINELLA (the house keeper). went on a tour there. was hired by "Epstein & Co.". That was the name on her checks at first. The new names on her checks would either be "Epstein Investments", "NES" or "Financial Strategy Group". Over time, her salary did not really increase that much. did not receive gifts. They would fly to California on occasion to see her family. EPSTEIN gave tickets to see The Lion King on Broadway with her husband. would get a bonus at Christmas time. was asked about the rules with MAXWELL. states that she signed a non-disclosure not to talk to media or press. MAXWELL stopped coming into the office shortly before left the job. She had known that MAXWELL had started dating another man towards the end. was still reporting to her around this time. had started working out of MAXWELL's home towards the end (the townhouse). This only happened about 1-2 times. While there, responsibilities didn't change much. It would be very rare for to be in communication with the pilots. Just in terms of wheels up, would speak to the pilot LARRY VISOSKI or EPSTEIN's driver VISOSKI would tell the wheels up time so that would tell what time to pick them up in the car. Sometimes MAXWELL would call about wheels up. MAXWELL had a separate driver. The people handling house stuff was a husband (driver) and a wife who was a maid. IGOR was another driver for MAXWELL. would talk with MAXWELL's drivers about wheels up and down. Typically, MAXWELL and EPSTEIN only traveled to one of his homes. Weather had a lot to do with where they would travel. did not discuss with them who was going on these trips. Either MAXWELL or EPSTEIN would coordinate other aspects of their travel. Sometimes MAXWELL would fly commercially. She would either stay behind or go a day early. They traveled with other people. Sometimes people would hop rides with EPSTEIN. EPSTEIN's assistant may have had more to do with these arrangements. has booked commercial flights for other people such as (an assistant to MAXWELL), family members and other employees. did not recall who gave her the non-disclosure agreement; she was not sure if it was MAXWELL or the attorneys or someone else. did not remember having a discussion about it. recalled the travel agency she used was "Shopper's Travel". They were located in New York. For the most part they were used for commercial flights. ESPINSOA and LESLEY were on a friendly level as they socialized outside of the office. They were friends who talked about their personal lives. If MAXWELL wanted to talk with EPSTEIN, would have to ask where he was and where she should call. and LESLEY would talk about what to order for lunch and would coordinate on some things. Both LESLEY and did similar jobs. did not talk with LESLEY about the work they did. LESLEY's role was to "bridge the line" and connect EPSTEIN to those he wanted to talk with. LESLEY was a message taker who made appointments and phone calls. LESLEY had common office assistant duties. was MAXWELL's assistant. did not recall the timeline of when came around. traveled with MAXWELL. was more of a personal assistant, which was different from being an executive assistant. was more of a "purse carrier" and personal assistant who also walked MAXWELL's dog. When MAXWELL came into the office, came into the office with her. also worked out of MAXWELL's house. A lot of the time, MAXWELL and were together. There were other assistants MAXWELL employed but could not recall their names; there was a lot coming and going. was not always introduced to them. was asked if she heard about EPSTEIN donating money and she replied yes. was not sure where she heard this. came to know EPSTEIN as a generous person who donated to charities, science, and the arts. recalled Interlochen and Juilliard. Interlochen was a a place EPSTEIN went or had an office there or donated an office in his name. Maybe on occasion she interacted with them outside the office, but her interactions were mostly in the office. Looking back, did not notice anything odd. Knowing what she knows from the media, "it's shocking" to left EPSTEIN's employ around had been considering going back to California for a while. When told MAXWELL she was going back to California, MAXWELL was upset she was leaving. left on good terms. was paid around $50,000 a year; she did not feel that she was overpaid. There were perks in working for EPSTEIN. EPSTEIN paid for her to have a physical trainer. had found her own trainer and he paid for the trainer. EPSTEIN paid for her hair cut every once in a while. EPSTEIN always had the best lunch/food; he had a chef bring food, especially if he was working in the office. was there when EPSTEIN hired ADAM PERRY LANG; she did not recall if there was a chef before him. did recall seeing EPSTEIN around 2004/2005 when she went back for a visit; she was visiting LESLEY. worked in the office for extra cash and she thought she was paid. would have been paid in cash because she technically was not employed with them. In or around 2007/2008, had a job interview with MAXWELL in California. was interviewing to work for TED WAITT, who MAXWELL was dating at the time.
