Amy,
Thank you for the update. There is no rush to remove the structures prior t= our visit. It is my hope that we can find a
resolution that addresses all=unauthorized/non-compliant structures at the same time.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Great St. James
Jonathan,
Erika Kellerhals (LSJ/GSJ representative) and I did site visits of both Lit=le St. James and Great St. James yesterday, and it
was brought to our atte=tion that on Great St. James, two temporary barge landings were created po=t hurricane by the
staff to assist in the delivery of emergency and relief=supplies to the island. A significant number of the staff had their

homes =estroyed or rendered uninhabitable by the storms and they took refuge post=hurricane at GSJ. Massive
amounts of supplies for these employees were bro=ght onto GSJ in the immediate aftermath of the storms.
One is near the location of the proposed new dock across from Little St. Ja=es and one is in Christmas Cove. Both are
rock lined and rubble fill=d and extend approximately 101-15' off shore. We are aware t=at these were not permitted.
Despite repeated attempts, the staff were una=le reach anyone at DPNR prior to construction. Mr. Epstein understan=s
that these will need to be removed but was concerned that if they were r=moved prior to your arrival that it might be
misconstrued that he was tryi=g to hide what was done. Should we go head and start their removal o= would you prefer
to conduct the site visit so you can make recommendation= of how it should be done?
