It seems to me that the boss's "complaints", though I think they are the basics of simple estate maintenance, can be easily addressed. Starting with getting some color back into his bougainvillea. These plants are at their best in more dry conditions with a lot of available food. Simple solution, cut the irrigation hand water them as needed and provide an over abundance of food with a high amount of chelated iron. As far as the pruning, Mr. Epstein has stated to me on two occasions he wants to keep them in a more natural state "wild looking" to contrast the square hedges and straight palms in the rear. Simple solution, selective hand pruning which is more labor intensive but can be accomplished. The pruning is necessary to keep them in bloom. Too dress the area up with a little color without making it look like an old lady's garden can be done fairly easily. We will make some suggestions and show some samples. When we get more comfortable with Mr. Epstein's likes and dislikes very little input will be needed. as far as the brown fronds and weeds in beds I do not know how to address it without insulting the other party. You are paid to deal with it, get it dealt with. Next issue, same area. We were surprised at the fact that Mr. Epstein and Vigo had to purchase small potted plants from Home Depot for the pool. We will be dropping off some pots for this area and will need some input on these for taste and style. The pots can be used to bring in splashes of color and enhance the area. They are also easily changed to keep a EFTA00770305 dynamic in the area. There are also some other minor details. like the ugly pentas and tall ugly plant at the back door we will deal with you do not need to be bored with the details. Mr. Epstein also asked about bringing some smells into the area. A lot of the fragrant plants are not the most desirable in the way they look. We can use the area by the side service entrance and the area behind the green wall to put in these fragrant plants. The overall landscape needs to be fertilized and treated for pests and fungus. There are some changes that can be made to the front entrance to dress it up a little bit. It is old and a lot of the old mature stalks on the plants are very noticeable. This can all be addressed over time. We can offer suggestions and samples. We would like to be there for Mr. Epstein so he can enjoy his estate. I mentioned it before and I will say it again once we become comfortable with Mr. Epstein's taste very little input will be needed. We will also not drop someone there that The Boss cannot communicate with myself, Rob, or Shawna will be onsite at all times.
