Thanks, . I had my bench trial today, and I think we are finally getting a 2250 conviction — yeah!
Thought you might find this interesting, just to show Epstein's smug-ness. This was in the Palm Beach Post
"gossip column" on Saturday, but I think it actually ran on Friday in New York:
February 1, 2008 -- DORIS Duke was one of the world's richest ladies. Whether the also late Bernard
Lafferty, her butler, did her in is unsure. Sure is HBO's soon-due two-hourer called "Bernard and
Doris." The film's wrap party was in my home because I knew both, and I own Doris' New York
apartment.
At Wednesday night's screening, VIPs included financier Jeffrey Epstein, who faces a judge next
month plus maybe 18 months due to his hobby as a collector. Seems what he allegedly collected was
underage girls. So, Jeffrey, how much longer you going to be amongst us and attend screenings? "I'll
be around for a very long time," he said. Dressed like the Marlboro Man in shearling jacket, open shirt,
jeans, the man looked less concerned than Huckabee. Must be he knows something the judge and I
don't know.
I think it is interesting that= thinks we should file a sealed indictment. Are you free to do a conference call
some time tomorrow? I will be working in Miami, but I should be able to do a call any time between 10:30 and
12:00 or between 1:30 and 3:30.
Just let me know.
Thank you!
