I dont really celebrate Passover, but it's an occasion to say Hello. I hope that you are continuing to cope with your 'limited vacation' and that it will soon be over. We've been out of touch but I heard from Vicky Gray that she and Murray Gell- Mann visited and I hope that you had an enjoyable reunion.. I visited you in Florida shortly after my 'limited vacation' in Manhattan had ended and I was back in Cambridge. Turns out that Cambridge is where I belong. I much prefer visiting New York, (this is not a city mouse. country mouse statement), it has to do with the fact that Cambridge is my base of operations and where my mother, Ellen and Ben still live. In that spirit, I look forward to seeing you soon back in New York. Whenr we met, you had given me an assignment— to figure out how I could respond to the current huge interest in the kind of education that is needed, going forward, in a global era and after the financial meltdown. I took the assignment seriously, particularly after you phoned, but so far, things have not gelled in my own mind. Hence, I'm suspending the assignment til we next see each other. At the time when you phoned, I was between meetings. I'm happy to talk again, it works better for me, if we can do it at a pre-arranged time rather than 'on the fly.' Is there a time that works well for you? In the meantime, if you like matzoh, I hope you have access—and keep that upbeat persona, it's your most precious possession.
