[00:00:00] I wish you good health, fellow
[00:00:02] Ukrainians. There are several important
[00:00:04] points worth mentioning today.
[00:00:07] First, we continue working every day
[00:00:09] specifically so that the next round of
[00:00:10] negotiations can deliver results for
[00:00:12] Ukraine, deliver results for peace.
[00:00:16] Ukraine will definitely do whatever is
[00:00:18] needed for this and will by no means
[00:00:19] stand in the way of peace.
[00:00:22] Last time in Geneva, the American side
[00:00:25] clearly saw it is precisely the Russians
[00:00:27] who are the reason no truly meaningful
[00:00:28] results had yet been achieved and the
[00:00:31] next meeting must not be a wasted
[00:00:33] opportunity. It can be done.
[00:00:37] We discussed today with Rooster Umarov
[00:00:40] some aspects of negotiation preparations
[00:00:43] and I am grateful to everyone who is
[00:00:45] genuinely ready to help and who supports
[00:00:47] us supports our state.
[00:00:51] My meetings with European partners are
[00:00:53] also already scheduled for next week.
[00:00:57] We will coordinate in detail so that
[00:00:59] Europe is involved in all processes and
[00:01:01] grows only stronger.
[00:01:03] I also instructed Rustin to work more
[00:01:05] closely with our friends in the Middle
[00:01:07] East and Turkey so that they also feel
[00:01:09] invested and can help more.
[00:01:13] I also spoke today with Mark Rut,
[00:01:15] Secretary General of NATO. In many
[00:01:18] respects, we share common views on the
[00:01:19] diplomatic process and on the situation
[00:01:21] in Europe.
[00:01:24] Thank you, Mark. The second important
[00:01:26] point, I want to commend the efforts of
[00:01:28] the security service of Ukraine, the
[00:01:30] National Police, and the Office of the
[00:01:32] Prosecutor General.
[00:01:35] They neutralized Russian mercenaries
[00:01:37] preparing assassination attempts against
[00:01:39] our citizens.
[00:01:42] These were rather high-profile names,
[00:01:43] and preventing such crimes is a
[00:01:45] substantial result.
[00:01:48] There were reports from Alexander PLAD
[00:01:50] and this is yet another front in the
[00:01:52] ongoing protection of Ukraine security,
[00:01:54] the safety of Ukrainians and the
[00:01:55] constant defense of the lives of our
[00:01:57] people.
[00:02:00] The way our Ukrainian special services,
[00:02:02] our law enforcement, and our
[00:02:04] intelligence neutralize Russian criminal
[00:02:06] activity against Ukrainians.
[00:02:09] They were preparing attacks against
[00:02:11] Ukrainian military personnel, Ukrainian
[00:02:13] intelligence officers, and Ukrainian
[00:02:15] media workers.
[00:02:17] It is important that all our Ukrainian
[00:02:19] special services and law enforcement
[00:02:21] continue to protect Ukrainian citizens
[00:02:23] in exactly this coordinated way. And one
[00:02:26] more thing, today Ukraine has introduced
[00:02:29] new sanctions against the captains of
[00:02:31] vessels involved in transporting Russian
[00:02:33] oil,
[00:02:35] 225 captains, and we will continue to
[00:02:39] consistently impose sanctions and make
[00:02:40] them global against everyone who helps
[00:02:42] Russia earn money for war.
[00:02:46] Many around the world support us and
[00:02:49] often it is Ukrainian proposals that
[00:02:51] form the basis of partners' sanctions.
[00:02:54] We very much count in particular that
[00:02:56] the next sanctions package of the
[00:02:57] European Union takes into account what
[00:02:59] is needed for real pressure on Russia
[00:03:01] over this war for truly restricting
[00:03:03] Russia's ability to wage it.
[00:03:08] This includes, among other things, a ban
[00:03:10] on maritime services for vessels used by
[00:03:12] Russia.
[00:03:16] Europe should come to this and this is
[00:03:18] something that could become a
[00:03:19] significant incentive from Europe for
[00:03:21] Russia to finally move from war to
[00:03:22] diplomacy to real diplomacy.
[00:03:29] The war must be brought to an end. I
[00:03:32] want to thank everyone who helps us.
[00:03:35] Thank you. Glory to Ukraine.
