the Senate resolution I introduced today [00:01:15] that says that any escalation by [00:01:19] Hezbollah against Israel that leads to a [00:01:22] major confrontation should be viewed as [00:01:25] an attack carried out and executed by [00:01:28] Iran [00:01:30] during the Cuban Missile Crisis [00:01:32] President Kennedy rightly indicated that [00:01:35] an attack emanating from Cuba against [00:01:38] the United States would be an attack [00:01:41] emanating from the Soviet Union we would [00:01:43] hold the Soviet Union liable for any [00:01:46] attack coming from Cuba because Cuba was [00:01:49] a proxy of the Soviet Union that same [00:01:53] Doctrine in my view applies to [00:01:56] Iran what should the target list in [00:02:00] clude where's [00:02:04] mine not only should Israel hold Iran [00:02:09] accountable for any escalation by [00:02:11] Hezbollah the United States should do [00:02:13] the same what should the target list [00:02:16] include it should include those [00:02:18] facilities most vital to the funding of [00:02:22] terrorism it should include refineries [00:02:33] if Hezbollah attacks Israel it's my hope [00:02:37] they will have one less Refinery than [00:02:40] they do today it is time to hit the [00:02:43] Ayatollah in the [00:02:45] pocketbook his oil refineries are the [00:02:48] lifeblood of his [00:02:50] regime without those refineries they [00:02:53] would not be able to fund terrorism so I [00:02:56] am going to ask the body to take up this [00:02:59] res resolution in September and see [00:03:01] where the Senate is on the idea that [00:03:04] Iran and Hezbollah are the same without [00:03:08] Iran hasah has no money they have no [00:03:11] technology no weapons to wage war [00:03:14] against [00:03:16] Israel I just read the Director of [00:03:19] National Intelligence report regarding [00:03:22] the status of the Iran nuclear program [00:03:26] it was [00:03:27] unnerving and I would urge every member [00:03:30] of the House and the Senate to read it [00:03:32] the advancements made by the Iranian [00:03:36] regime regarding uh weapons grade [00:03:40] plutonium is [00:03:42] unnerving their ability to enrich to [00:03:45] weapons grade is now a matter of weeks [00:03:48] not months their ability to weaponize [00:03:52] the material has [00:03:54] advanced and it is now time for Congress [00:03:58] to lend their voice to the proper [00:04:00] response today I'm in introducing a [00:04:04] resolution that would authorize the use [00:04:07] of military force by the United States [00:04:10] to stop an Iranian nuclear [00:04:14] breakout the resolution would be [00:04:16] triggered if the president [00:04:19] determines that Iran possesses uranium [00:04:22] enriched to a weapons grade level a [00:04:25] nuclear warhead or to possess a delivery [00:04:29] vehicle cap capable of delivering a [00:04:31] nuclear device against Israel or other [00:04:36] allies of the United [00:04:38] States Iran will keep going until [00:04:41] somebody tells them to [00:04:43] stop it is time to put red lines on [00:04:46] their nuclear [00:04:47] program the idea of ambiguity is not [00:04:52] working as we talk about their program [00:04:55] their program gets larger and more [00:04:58] lethal after having viewed the dni [00:05:02] report I believe it is a [00:05:06] people is the destruction and [00:11:26] marginalization of Hamas so that others [00:11:29] can come in and help the Palestinian [00:11:31] people build a community not based on [00:11:34] terrorism [00:12:47] Harris Administration to recognize the [00:12:49] Venezuelan opposition leader uh [00:12:51] candidate as a new president-elect and [00:12:53] what actions do we can we expect from [00:12:55] the US government regarding the election [00:12:56] in venezuel one crisis at a time yeah I [00:12:59] think maduro's election was was tainted [00:13:02] and that's probably a good thing
