[00:00:00] CNN is doing a special [00:00:03] like documentary piece on the rise of [00:00:06] Christian nationals. [00:00:07] >> Oh boy, they're they're bitten that [00:00:09] Bobby horse again. [00:00:10] >> There have Yeah, there have been [00:00:11] multiple story lines that feel like I'm [00:00:12] I'm like in 2021 again like over and [00:00:15] over and over. [00:00:16] >> 23 I think was the peak where they were [00:00:18] really they were really emphasizing that [00:00:19] Christian nationalism was going to be [00:00:21] the the the threat dour of 2024. But [00:00:24] like for real, [00:00:27] what is wrong with Christians loving [00:00:30] their country, being involved in [00:00:31] politics? Isn't that how America was [00:00:33] founded? [00:00:34] >> Yeah. I mean, it's that classic thing [00:00:35] where an antifa will post, you know, [00:00:38] these World War II like Antifa in World [00:00:39] War II when they would have they all [00:00:41] consider their great-grandfathers like [00:00:42] the worst fascists imaginable every view [00:00:45] they hold. Yeah. And so, same thing, [00:00:46] you're a Christian nationalist if you [00:00:48] believe anything that 90% of Americans [00:00:50] believed from 1776 to 1970. Consider [00:00:53] this. So CNN does a piece Pamela Brown [00:00:56] who I know [00:00:59] talking about the radicalization of [00:01:01] people at Charlie's memorial because [00:01:04] Charlie was assassinated [00:01:07] by a radical [00:01:09] by, as we talked about with Riley, [00:01:11] somebody that was animated, at least in [00:01:13] part, by [00:01:15] his love affair with somebody that was [00:01:16] trans. [00:01:18] And instead of burning down the country [00:01:21] like the real radicals did, we held [00:01:23] vigils and memorials and people bought [00:01:25] Bibles and they got baptized. How is [00:01:27] that a bad thing? What are we even [00:01:30] talking about here? So, let me play the [00:01:33] clip. 384. And if you don't get as [00:01:35] ticked off as I do watching this, I [00:01:38] don't know. This is just really [00:01:40] infuriating stuff. 384 [00:01:42] >> memorial service was one of the most um [00:01:46] potent examples of this shift in our [00:01:50] culture that we're experiencing right [00:01:51] now where a large segment of American [00:01:55] Christians are being activated by these [00:01:57] ideas, radicalized by these ideas that [00:02:00] say that they are the persecuted ones [00:02:02] and that they need to stand up for [00:02:04] Christians rights. [00:02:07] Well, you know, Charlie did get [00:02:09] assassinated. You do realize that? [00:02:12] Whoever this guy is, what's his name? He [00:02:15] deserves to be made a little bit famous [00:02:17] for being an idiot. [00:02:18] >> I refuse to know the names of CNN [00:02:19] personnel. [00:02:20] >> So, we have a a nation that was founded [00:02:25] by Christians [00:02:28] inspired [00:02:29] >> quite [00:02:30] Christians, if anything. [00:02:31] >> Yes. [00:02:32] >> By the way, the only true form of [00:02:34] Christianity is a radical Christianity. [00:02:36] There is Bible verses talking about if [00:02:38] you're a lukewarm Christian, you will be [00:02:40] spit out. [00:02:41] >> And it's it's one of those books Charlie [00:02:44] liked, um Tom Holland's Dominion, that [00:02:46] we because we swim in the ocean of [00:02:49] Christianity, even if you're not [00:02:50] religious, actually, we don't recognize [00:02:52] how fundamentally radical Christianity [00:02:54] was from its very beginnings. That it [00:02:57] totally remade the moral order of the [00:03:00] Roman Empire, of the other Europeans [00:03:02] that converted to it, of the Middle [00:03:03] Easterners who converted to it. that [00:03:05] everyone who ran into Christianity in [00:03:07] the first century, the second century, [00:03:09] the third century, for the first time, [00:03:11] they're thinking, "What in the world is [00:03:13] this? It has to be a radical faith. It [00:03:15] is not a faith that is just going with [00:03:18] your completely innate passive impulses [00:03:22] that prevailed everywhere around the [00:03:24] world before it came along." [00:03:25] >> I'm Pastor Alan Jackson. We've had the [00:03:27] privilege of partnering with Charlie [00:03:28] Kirk and Turning Point USA. It was an [00:03:30] honor to stand with them. All of us are [00:03:32] grieving Charlie's absence. But here's [00:03:35] the reality. We have an assignment. [00:03:37] We're not stopping. We're going to [00:03:38] continue forward with what Charlie [00:03:40] invested his life in. Now, it's our turn [00:03:43] to lead with faith. We're going to make [00:03:45] an impact in this generation for the [00:03:47] kingdom of God. We have some resources [00:03:49] for you. You can go to [00:03:50] allenjackson.com/charlie. [00:03:53] Together, we're going to make a [00:03:54] difference in this generation. [00:03:56] >> Well, and this is the point. I mean, you [00:03:58] look at what we talked about with the [00:03:59] rise of Gen Z men going to church. [00:04:01] They're going to the ancient churches [00:04:04] that have not bent the knee to the [00:04:06] zeitgeist of the cultural culture of the [00:04:09] day. They they are going with things [00:04:11] that are proudly and unapologetically [00:04:13] preaching the full gospel, the full [00:04:15] weight of it. You know, they don't want [00:04:17] a weak, watered down preaching style. [00:04:19] They don't want that. That's exactly [00:04:21] what the world offers. They don't want [00:04:22] pseudosocial sciences with a pew. That's [00:04:25] what the world offers. They want radical [00:04:29] Christianity that's boldly standing up [00:04:31] for the principles of Jesus Christ and [00:04:33] his death on the cross, risen from the [00:04:37] dead on the third day, appearing before [00:04:39] the the apostles, and then 500, then [00:04:42] 5,000. That's what they want. They want [00:04:43] the full thing. And they want people [00:04:47] inspired by that faith to march into the [00:04:49] public square and to build a world that [00:04:52] looks more like the kingdom of God. That [00:04:54] is the Christian faith. Let's go to the [00:04:56] clip. Charlie 395. [00:04:59] >> John Adams seamlessly said the [00:05:00] Constitution was only written for a [00:05:02] moral and religious people. It was [00:05:03] wholly inadequate for the people of any [00:05:05] other. The body politic of America was [00:05:07] so Christian and was so Protestant that [00:05:09] our form and structure of government was [00:05:11] built for the people that believed in [00:05:13] Christ our Lord. One of the reasons [00:05:14] we're living through a constitutional [00:05:16] crisis is that we no longer have a [00:05:18] Christian nation, but we have a [00:05:19] Christian form of government and they're [00:05:21] incompatible. So, you cannot have [00:05:22] liberty if you do not have a Christian [00:05:24] population. [00:05:27] By the way, it looks like uh we have uh [00:05:30] I wonder if it's loaded. Is 394 loaded? [00:05:33] Yep. Loaded. Uh our little uh thing that [00:05:36] we were discussing has made its way to [00:05:37] Fox News. 394. [00:05:39] >> Young men report feeling culturally [00:05:41] dislocated or villainized by progressive [00:05:43] secular discourse regarding masculinity. [00:05:46] Traditional forms of Christianity, [00:05:47] particularly Catholicism and Orthodoxy, [00:05:49] offer a narrative of responsibility, [00:05:51] sacrifice, and hierarchy that appeals to [00:05:54] men seeking a defined role in a fluid [00:05:56] world. Now, the report also breaks down [00:05:58] weekly religious attendance by education [00:06:00] level, and those with post-graduate [00:06:02] degrees are at 30%, people with [00:06:05] bachelor's degrees, 28%. Emily, to add [00:06:07] to this a little bit, okay, it's a [00:06:09] worldwide phenomenon. 45% increase in [00:06:12] the number of people baptized in France. [00:06:14] In the UK, they have seen 18 to 24 year [00:06:16] olds jump from 4% believers and [00:06:19] attending church in 2018 to 16%. But I [00:06:21] love this. Most of this growth is [00:06:23] concentrated among Catholics and [00:06:25] Pentecostals. A shout out to my [00:06:26] evangelical crowd there. [00:06:29] >> 4% is what it bottomed out in the UK. [00:06:31] That [00:06:32] >> Well, but what's crazy is is that they, [00:06:34] you know, they're talking about how [00:06:36] young men specifically feel alienated by [00:06:38] a progressive discourse. If you show [00:06:40] that Yahoo again, just give me this [00:06:41] picture of this guy with his glasses. [00:06:44] saying they're being radicalized to [00:06:45] stand up for their Christian faith. [00:06:47] Well, what do you think's going to [00:06:48] happen when you target prolifers that [00:06:51] are praying outside of abortion clinic? [00:06:53] What do you think's going to happen when [00:06:54] you spy on Catholics and this is this is [00:06:58] what young men feel alienated by? That's [00:07:00] a Karen with a beard right there talking [00:07:03] about the rise of Christian nationalism. [00:07:05] The rise of Christian Christian [00:07:06] nationalism is why we didn't burn down [00:07:09] cities when Charlie was killed. [00:07:13] What are they complaining about? What [00:07:16] would you want in its place? A bunch of [00:07:18] Antifa thugs marching in the streets [00:07:20] throwing Molotov cocktails. What would [00:07:22] you want in its place? [00:07:25] More targets looted? More buildings [00:07:28] burned? [00:07:29] Manion is going around shooting the the [00:07:31] head of United Healthcare. Is that what [00:07:33] you really want? [00:07:36] I just don't understand what they're so [00:07:38] upset about. This country is a Christian [00:07:40] nation. Was founded by Christians. as [00:07:42] Charlie said. And guess what? Western [00:07:44] civilization is defined by one through [00:07:46] line, Christianity. You are blessed by [00:07:48] Christianity. CNN, [00:07:51] you are blessed by the fact that [00:07:53] Christians are still driven to lead [00:07:56] purposeful lives and get into politics, [00:07:58] to get into business, to have families. [00:08:00] If they don't like Christian [00:08:01] nationalism, they are not going to like [00:08:04] whatever comes after [00:08:05] >> Islamic nationalism. Is that what you [00:08:07] want? I don't think you want that. [00:08:11] >> [groaning and snorts] [00:08:13] >> Thank you for bearing with me. All [00:08:14] right, so we actually have a clip of [00:08:17] Charlie being called a Christian [00:08:20] nationalist by a student during a prove [00:08:22] me wrong debate. Let's go ahead and play [00:08:24] cut. Do we have the number 404? [00:08:27] Christian nationalism I do not agree [00:08:29] with at all. Um, I think it's [00:08:31] antithetical to the values of the early [00:08:33] church. And I think how do you reconcile [00:08:37] the espec especially white Christians in [00:08:40] this America marrying politics and power [00:08:42] with their faith in this country? [00:08:45] >> Well, there's a lot there. I've never [00:08:46] described myself as a Christian [00:08:47] nationalist. So, I'm a Christian and a [00:08:50] nationalist. So, I never used those two. [00:08:51] >> And then right there that and [00:08:52] nationalist. Where in the scriptures [00:08:54] does a Christian [00:08:55] >> Thank you. Jeremiah 29:7, demand the [00:08:57] welfare of the nation that you are in [00:08:58] because your welfare is tied to your [00:09:00] nation's welfare. [00:09:03] >> Beautiful answer. It's true. We are [00:09:05] called to support the nation state. It [00:09:07] was God that defined the boundary lines [00:09:09] of the nations. And you know, render [00:09:12] unto Caesar what is Caesars. Render [00:09:13] under God what is God. I mean, there's [00:09:15] God loves order. And this is, you know, [00:09:17] a lot of these people that don't believe [00:09:19] in, you know, being proudly [00:09:22] nationalistic or patriotic, I see them [00:09:24] as basically bleeding into the same [00:09:26] concept. What the left wants to do is [00:09:28] create a boogeyman that never existed [00:09:31] until they sort of invented the term and [00:09:33] then they use it as a as a cudgel to try [00:09:36] and and scare you and and make you [00:09:37] distance yourself from it. Well, listen, [00:09:39] we're Christians and we love our nation. [00:09:41] It's not much more to it than

[00:00:00] CNN is doing a special [00:00:03] like documentary piece on the rise of [00:00:06] Christian nationals. [00:00:07] >> Oh boy, they're they're bitten that [00:00:09] Bobby horse again.
