Graham Joins Maria Bartiromo on Antisemitic Terror Attack in Sydney & U.S. Soldiers Killed in Syria

I want to get [00:00:06] your take on Australia and how you see [00:00:08] things. But first, you just heard [00:00:10] President Trump vowing that there will [00:00:12] be consequences for the incident in [00:00:14] Syria. What kind of consequences do you [00:00:16] want to see? [00:00:20] >> I want to attack ISIS training camps [00:00:22] wherever they may may be. And what I [00:00:24] want to know about Syria, was this [00:00:26] gunman associated with the Syrian [00:00:28] security forces? Was this a green onblue [00:00:31] attack? Was this an attack of somebody [00:00:34] inside the Syrian security forces that [00:00:37] turned on us or was it just a lone [00:00:39] government associated with ISIS? That's [00:00:41] an important distinction I want to know [00:00:43] about that. The Syrian government has [00:00:45] signed up uh to the anti-ISIS program. I [00:00:48] support trying to work with the Syrian [00:00:50] government, but there's some very [00:00:52] nefarious characters around Galani, the [00:00:54] head of Syria. We might want to revisit [00:00:56] relieving U Caesar Act sanctions to make [00:01:00] sure that we have some leverage against [00:01:02] the people running Syria. What's the [00:01:04] connection between Syria and Australia? [00:01:07] Radical Islam. Radical Islam wants to [00:01:10] kill all the Jews. They want to kill two [00:01:12] soldiers from Iowa. This is a religious [00:01:15] war. They hate us because we're [00:01:17] Christians. We're infidels and they want [00:01:19] to kill all the Jews. To the Australian [00:01:21] government, you let your people down. Um [00:01:25] the man who was killed, the rabbi that [00:01:27] was killed in this attack wrote a letter [00:01:29] to the prime minister of Australia weeks [00:01:32] ago asking him to reconsider recognizing [00:01:35] the Palestinian state. To every Western [00:01:37] government who's recognized a [00:01:39] Palestinian state, you're rewarding [00:01:41] killing Jews. It's the most [00:01:43] irresponsible decision I can imagine. [00:01:46] What state are you recognizing? Is it [00:01:48] controlled by is it controlled by Hamas? [00:01:51] Uh what are you recognizing here? When [00:01:54] you kill Jews, you get a state. You're [00:01:55] going to get more killing of Jews. So I [00:01:58] would I would urge the West to get [00:02:00] tougher on radical Islam. The rabbi who [00:02:03] begged the prime minister to reverse his [00:02:06] decision uh to recognize a Palestinian [00:02:08] state is now dead. And how could you not [00:02:10] have better security given what's going [00:02:12] on in Australia around a large gathering [00:02:15] of our Jewish brothers and sisters on [00:02:18] Hanukkah? As to Syria, ISIS would come [00:02:21] here if they could. God bless President [00:02:23] Trump for wanting to retaliate. [00:02:25] >> Yeah, I I want to get back to Australia [00:02:26] in a moment, but let me get to Sy Syria [00:02:28] in one one more moment here because are [00:02:31] you questioning whether or not it was in [00:02:33] fact a lone gunman from ISIS? Are you [00:02:36] questioning that with what you just said [00:02:38] about Syria? [00:02:40] I don't know, but I'm assuming it was a [00:02:42] long gun. I want to know what was this [00:02:44] person part of the security forces. In [00:02:47] Afghanistan, we have instances of where [00:02:49] people we were working with wound up [00:02:51] shooting our soldiers. What kind of [00:02:53] vetting system do we have regarding the [00:02:56] Syrian security forces? That's a major [00:02:59] difference between being part of the [00:03:01] security forces or long government. I [00:03:03] don't know. I do support working with [00:03:05] the Syrian government, but we're [00:03:07] relieved all the sanctions against [00:03:08] Syria, maybe too prematurely. Look at [00:03:11] the attacks in SWEA. Uh the statements [00:03:14] coming from the Syrian leadership about [00:03:16] Israel uh disturb me. So I want to [00:03:19] revisit whether or not we should have [00:03:21] more leverage against Syrian government. [00:03:24] on on Australia. Th this rabbi who sent [00:03:27] the letter, are you saying and warning [00:03:30] other nations not to recognize a [00:03:32] Palestinian state? [00:03:36] >> I am telling you that if you recognize a [00:03:38] Palestinian state after October the 7th, [00:03:41] where you have not negotiated a new West [00:03:43] Bank, a new Gaza free from uh uh Islamic [00:03:47] terrorist control, you're incentivizing [00:03:50] killing Jews. The signal is you attack [00:03:53] and kill 1,200 Jewish people, the world [00:03:55] will recognize a Palestinian state. The [00:03:58] best way to get a Palestinian state is [00:04:00] to kill Jews. That's what the message is [00:04:02] being sent from Australia, France, and [00:04:05] Germany. France can't even have a [00:04:07] Christmas celebration because they [00:04:09] worried about radical Islam in their [00:04:12] midst. So, President Trump is right to [00:04:14] retaliate. And as to Gaza, I reject a [00:04:18] board of peace. I reject rebuilding Gaza [00:04:22] until Hamas has been disarmed and [00:04:24] destroyed. So this idea that we would [00:04:26] rebuild Gaza before Hamas has been [00:04:29] disarmed and destroyed makes no sense to [00:04:32] me. [00:04:33] >> So this is all radical Islam. Senator, [00:04:36] what do you want to see from President [00:04:37] Trump in terms of assisting Australia [00:04:39] right now? [00:04:42] I want uh President Trump to make a [00:04:44] speech about what we're facing that ISIS [00:04:48] uh you know Obama and Biden were [00:04:50] wrecking balls. Obama withdrew all of [00:04:52] our forces from Iraq. I begged him not [00:04:54] to. Uh ISIS took over in Iraq and Syria. [00:04:58] Raqqa Syria became a launching pad for [00:05:01] attacks against the West. President [00:05:03] Trump destroyed the caliphate. President [00:05:06] Biden withdrew from Afghanistan, setting [00:05:08] in motion radicalization the entire [00:05:10] planet, Russia invading Ukraine. [00:05:13] President Trump has been dealing with a [00:05:14] wrecking ball of Obama and Biden. What [00:05:16] would I like to see him do? Give Israel [00:05:18] the green light to go in and finish off [00:05:20] Hamas. Destroy Hezbollah. If you can't [00:05:24] get them to disarm diplomatically in [00:05:26] Lebanon, come up with a military [00:05:28] campaign to take Hezbollah down. Work [00:05:31] with Israel to do that. The world will [00:05:34] never be safe as long as Iran has [00:05:36] proxies like Hamas and Hezblah. Do not [00:05:38] rebuild Gaza. Do not invest in Gaza [00:05:41] until Hamas has been disarmed. Stand [00:05:43] with Israel without apology. Reject the [00:05:47] idea that a Palestinian state is the [00:05:49] right answer until the Palestinian state [00:05:52] has been dradicalized and demilitarized. [00:05:55] What happened in Australia should be a [00:05:57] word of warning. When you appease those [00:05:59] who kill Jews, you get more killing of [00:06:02] Jews. ISIS killed two young men from [00:06:05] Iowa because they were in Syria [00:06:08] protecting us. And if ISIS comes back, [00:06:11] they will hit us again. So, God bless [00:06:13] President Trump for putting ISIS on [00:06:16] notice. We're going to retaliate, disarm [00:06:18] Hamas, give Israel the green light to [00:06:20] finish them off. [00:06:22] >> And and and what can you do in the [00:06:23] Senate? You've got a few days left [00:06:25] legislatively for the year. Are you [00:06:27] expecting a response from the Senate [00:06:28] this upcoming week? [00:06:32] Yeah, I would I would love to see the [00:06:34] Senate pass legislation going after the [00:06:36] schools that that breed anti-semitism [00:06:39] and make it hard to be a Jewish student [00:06:41] on campus. What I want to do is more aid [00:06:43] to Israel. I'm going to Israel next [00:06:45] week. I think what we should be doing is [00:06:47] working with the administration to come [00:06:49] up with a plan to rebuild Gaza, to [00:06:52] dradicalize and demilitarize Gaza and [00:06:54] the West Bank only after Hamas has been [00:06:57] destroyed. There is no Arab force coming [00:07:00] into Gaza to take weapons away from [00:07:02] Hamas. That's got to be done by Israel. [00:07:05] So I would urge President give uh them [00:07:07] the green light. Uh when it comes to [00:07:09] Russia Ukraine, I want to pass sanctions [00:07:12] uh against Russia to give tools uh to [00:07:15] President Trump to go after customers [00:07:17] who prop Putin's war machine up. This [00:07:19] Russia Ukraine deal cannot be paving the [00:07:22] way for a third invasion. There's so [00:07:24] much going on in the world right now. I [00:07:26] really do appreciate President Trump. He [00:07:29] has got a mess on his hands from [00:07:30] Obamacare to a broken border to a war in [00:07:33] Russia, Ukraine to radical Islam on the [00:07:36] rise and it all goes back to Obama and [00:07:38] Biden. He is cleaning up their mess and [00:07:41] be patient with this man. [00:07:43] >> Well, should we be expecting copycat uh [00:07:46] efforts in the United States? I mean, [00:07:48] this attack in Australia was designed to [00:07:50] target the Jewish community on the first [00:07:52] day of Hanukkah. What should we expect [00:07:54] in America? Yep. [00:07:57] There should be no meeting of our Jewish [00:07:59] brothers and sisters anywhere in the [00:08:01] country of significance without adequate [00:08:03] security. Being Jewish uh should not be [00:08:06] a death sentence in 2025. [00:08:09] I am so sorry to my Jewish brothers and [00:08:13] s sisters that the world is turning a [00:08:16] blind eye yet again to those who wish to [00:08:19] destroy the Jewish people. It seems to [00:08:21] me that 80 years after the Holocaust, we [00:08:24] should insist that the Iranian regime, [00:08:27] which is the great evil to all of this, [00:08:30] be dealt with, that we should destroy [00:08:32] Hamas and Hezbollah to allow Saudi [00:08:35] Arabia to recognize Israel. We have [00:08:37] anti-semitism [00:08:39] in flames all over the planet, and we're [00:08:41] not doing enough to push back. But but [00:08:43] but Senator, we thought that we were [00:08:45] seeing progress on that front uh from [00:08:48] President Trump's efforts on ending all [00:08:50] of these wars. [00:08:52] >> Yeah. Well, let me tell you, I [00:08:54] appreciate his efforts. Uh he he allowed [00:08:56] Israel to punish Hamas and, you know, [00:08:59] degrade them. I think we should have [00:09:01] finished them off. I'm glad the hostages [00:09:03] are out. But to President Trump, I like [00:09:05] the idea of a border of peace, but it [00:09:06] won't work in Gaza until Hamas is [00:09:09] disarmed. You need to put Hamas on a [00:09:12] time clock like you did Iran. We should [00:09:14] give them x amount of days to disarm. If [00:09:17] they don't, let Israel go in and disarm [00:09:19] them. Do the same thing in Lebanon. [00:09:21] Hezbollah has more American blood on its [00:09:23] hands than Hamas does. They're all [00:09:25] backed by Iran. You need to put these [00:09:27] proxies on a time clock to disarm so we [00:09:30] can get to true peace. There will never [00:09:32] be true peace in the Middle East as long [00:09:34] as Hamas and Hezblah exist with a [00:09:37] military capability to strike Israel or [00:09:39] strike us. [00:09:40] >> What are your plans in Israel next week, [00:09:42] Senator? [00:09:45] >> Uh to to show my support for the Jewish [00:09:48] state and also on the West Bank. The the [00:09:51] Jew the Israel needs to control these [00:09:53] settlers in the West Bank. But to go to [00:09:55] Israel and say, "I stand with you. I [00:09:59] urge you to come up with a military plan [00:10:01] to destroy Hezbollah and Lebanon if they [00:10:03] will not disarm. To talk to them about [00:10:05] what they need to finish Hamas off. What [00:10:08] do you need militarily? What do you need [00:10:10] to survive as the Jewish state to plant [00:10:12] the American flag in Jerusalem and say, [00:10:15] "I am here. I stand with you." The [00:10:17] people trying to kill uh Jews in Israel [00:10:20] and throughout the world want to kill [00:10:21] you and me too. Radical Islam is an [00:10:24] enemy of mankind. Now's the time to be [00:10:27] firm, clear, morally certain. Hamas must [00:10:30] be disarmed. It's non-negotiable. [00:10:33] Hezablah is next. We need to keep Iran [00:10:35] in a box. Whatever Israel needs, we need [00:10:38] to give to them. To those in the [00:10:40] Republican party who believe supporting [00:10:42] Israel is a liability to the United [00:10:44] States, you're nuts. Israel is doing [00:10:47] things to make us safer here. For every [00:10:49] terrorist they kill over here, that's [00:10:51] one less that can come to over there. [00:10:53] There's one less that can come here. So, [00:10:55] I want to stand firmly with Israel. [00:10:57] Israel's not perfect, but they are our [00:10:58] ally, and the people wishing to destroy [00:11:00] the Jewish state wish to kill you, too.
