[00:00:31] [music]
[00:00:51] >> [music]
[00:00:56] >> Good afternoon. Thank you all for being
[00:00:58] here.
[00:01:00] [applause]
[00:01:02] >> Well, I am honored to stand before you
[00:01:05] as the sponsor of the legislation that
[00:01:07] established President Donald J. Trump
[00:01:09] Boulevard.
[00:01:14] But I have to be honest and give credit
[00:01:17] where credit is due. Where's my husband?
[00:01:19] Just after the election, my husband Eric
[00:01:21] actually said, "Meg, you need to rename
[00:01:23] Southern Boulevard President Donald J.
[00:01:25] Trump Boulevard."
[00:01:27] [cheering]
[00:01:30] And I immediately maybe snapped at him
[00:01:32] and said, "Eric, give me a few minutes.
[00:01:34] I'm a freshman. I I I need some time."
[00:01:36] But after a few minutes to process, uh,
[00:01:39] I realized he was right, which is rare
[00:01:41] in our marriage. I might point that out.
[00:01:44] But I realized that it also needed to
[00:01:46] happen. This is something that, um, was
[00:01:47] a great idea. I'm in this role because
[00:01:50] of our good friend who is here today,
[00:01:53] FHP Director Dave Kerner, had uh,
[00:01:57] [cheering]
[00:01:59] he reached out to me and told me, Magg,
[00:02:01] our state needs more servant leaders
[00:02:03] that care. And I'm here because
[00:02:05] President Trump spoke common sense when
[00:02:08] common sense was um completely under
[00:02:11] attack. So I am so grateful to be to uh
[00:02:14] be a warrior here for you, sir. And to
[00:02:17] have uh honestly
[00:02:20] never thought I'd be in this role, just
[00:02:22] a mom rescuing a lot of animals and
[00:02:24] listening to you speak. President Trump,
[00:02:26] you speak common sense. You speak
[00:02:28] exactly what the people want and have
[00:02:30] been wanting to hear for many, many
[00:02:32] years. [cheering and applause]
[00:02:33] Thank you. Thank you.
[00:02:37] When I first filed the language though,
[00:02:39] I was told we it wasn't allowed, that we
[00:02:41] couldn't do this, but I am the youngest
[00:02:43] of four and my father did coin me the
[00:02:45] nudge. So, uh it served me well in the
[00:02:47] Florida House uh determination. I I will
[00:02:51] have to tell you that um
[00:02:54] uh it was not just me. There were so
[00:02:56] many members that you know we we would
[00:02:58] kind of have the bill naming the process
[00:03:00] is so interesting. It was first my bill.
[00:03:02] it rolls into the road naming bill and
[00:03:05] uh from there it goes to uh this you
[00:03:08] know the house and the senate. So
[00:03:10] there's so many people that are
[00:03:11] involved. Representative I mean speaker
[00:03:13] Perez you're such an incredible
[00:03:15] supporter [applause]
[00:03:17] and in
[00:03:20] fact in your inaugural remarks you said
[00:03:23] this is a member-driven process and this
[00:03:25] is exactly what this this is a
[00:03:27] member-driven process. This was exactly
[00:03:29] how it played out. We had Representative
[00:03:31] Nicks, Representative Brandon, Senator
[00:03:34] um, President Albrittain in the Senate
[00:03:37] and other senators and so many members
[00:03:39] and staff that really worked hard to
[00:03:41] make this happen. Uh, Ro, I I am a woman
[00:03:44] of faith and I want to say Romans 13:7
[00:03:46] says, "Give honor and respect to all
[00:03:49] those whom it is due." And President
[00:03:52] Trump, today we're doing exactly that.
[00:03:54] We we need to honor and respect you and
[00:03:56] your family for everything that you have
[00:03:58] done for us and in our country. So,
[00:04:00] thank you
[00:04:02] [applause and cheering]
[00:04:04] I want to thank
[00:04:07] thank you to all the officials that
[00:04:08] voted and helped make this happen. It
[00:04:10] doesn't it doesn't just even happen in
[00:04:12] the state as I learned as a freshman.
[00:04:14] You have to then go through many
[00:04:15] municipalities which was a learning
[00:04:17] process for me as well. But I want to
[00:04:19] thank my staff, Kate, Lex, and
[00:04:21] Alexander. You guys are all rock stars.
[00:04:23] I'm so grateful to have you part of my
[00:04:25] team.
[00:04:28] [applause]
[00:04:30] President Donald J. Trump Boulevard now
[00:04:32] stands as a permanent reminder for
[00:04:34] courage, leadership, and unapologetic
[00:04:36] patriotism. I am proud to have played a
[00:04:38] role in to make that happen. And I'm
[00:04:40] looking forward to the airport where
[00:04:43] greatness takes off.
[00:04:45] [cheering]
[00:04:46] [applause]
[00:04:50] >> You like that? Where greatness takes
[00:04:51] off.
[00:04:54] It is truly my honor to introduce the
[00:04:58] most incredible president of our
[00:05:00] lifetime, President Donald J. Trump.
[00:05:02] [cheering]
[00:05:07] [applause]
[00:05:11] [applause]
[00:05:16] That is something that's very special.
[00:05:18] That was a beautiful introduction and it
[00:05:21] was from the heart. I could see that
[00:05:23] sometimes I get introduced not from the
[00:05:25] heart. We know that. We know about that,
[00:05:27] Danny. But this was uh amazing to see so
[00:05:31] many dignitaries, political leaders from
[00:05:34] Florida and beyond. It's uh really nice.
[00:05:37] Oh, that looks very nice that you're
[00:05:38] caring and that's a that's beautiful.
[00:05:42] Thank you. Wow.
[00:05:44] That's the real deal. Thank you very
[00:05:46] much. We appreciate it. All All top
[00:05:49] people in this room. really amazing
[00:05:51] people and we have a lot of media back
[00:05:54] there. We appreciate that you're here.
[00:05:56] We very much appreciate that you're
[00:05:57] here. See, I'm being nice today to the
[00:05:59] media. I think I have uh but a very
[00:06:02] special thanks to State Representative
[00:06:05] Meg Weinberger. The job she's doing is
[00:06:07] amazing [cheering and applause]
[00:06:10] and she's going to do very well
[00:06:12] politically. I used to tell her, I don't
[00:06:14] know, that's a tough race. That's a
[00:06:15] tough race, but go do it. And she did it
[00:06:18] and she won. And then a lot of people
[00:06:20] didn't think she was going to be able to
[00:06:22] win, beating people that were doing it
[00:06:24] for a long time. You weren't doing it
[00:06:26] for a long time, but uh you become a
[00:06:29] veteran very fast. And you've done very
[00:06:31] well. Congratulations. We appreciate it.
[00:06:34] They call a magame. And now and now when
[00:06:38] you have that, you can never lose a
[00:06:39] race. You can't lose. People just didn't
[00:06:42] understand that you can't lose a race,
[00:06:43] right, with that. Thank you, darling.
[00:06:45] And where's your husband, by the way?
[00:06:46] Where is he, Eric?
[00:06:47] >> My arm handy. Wow, great job. Thank you
[00:06:50] very much for that reference. That was a
[00:06:52] very important reference. Thank you,
[00:06:54] Eric, very much. And speaking of Eric, I
[00:06:56] have Eric Trump right here. [cheering]
[00:06:59] Who's a great guy? [applause]
[00:07:02] He's a a great young guy and he's uh
[00:07:05] done a fantastic job. When I'm away, I
[00:07:07] don't know, I I've look at uh I see
[00:07:10] things happening all over the world and
[00:07:12] him, the whole family has been so
[00:07:14] terrific. But Eric has been right there
[00:07:16] at the front and I appreciate it very
[00:07:17] much. She's a great boy. We love that
[00:07:19] boy. [applause]
[00:07:21] We love that boy. Thank you, honey.
[00:07:23] Appreciate it. And I'm thrilled to be
[00:07:25] back in my home state of Florida and
[00:07:27] this truly incredible privilege. I moved
[00:07:30] down here. I love New York, but it was
[00:07:32] just it just worked that way. And, you
[00:07:34] know, we won we won Florida so so much
[00:07:37] and by so big and it's been and it
[00:07:40] continues just continues. We even have
[00:07:42] club 47 here. Look at these
[00:07:44] representatives. used to be club 45.
[00:07:47] [applause]
[00:07:48] Then they said, "I think we're going to
[00:07:49] change it to club 47." And we're having
[00:07:51] a good time. Let me tell you, we're
[00:07:53] doing really, we're doing a job for our
[00:07:55] country. We're saving our country
[00:07:57] because if they would have gotten in,
[00:07:59] this country would have been a place
[00:08:01] known as Venezuela on steroids. It would
[00:08:04] have been uh in big trouble. So, we did
[00:08:07] we did a job. And so many of the people,
[00:08:10] Gina, so many of the people in the room
[00:08:12] uh they helped so much. It's incredible.
[00:08:15] So, I'm tremendously honored that the
[00:08:18] main boulevard from Palm Beach
[00:08:19] International Airport to the beautiful
[00:08:21] Mara Lago is being renamed in my honor.
[00:08:24] That's a very important stretch. A lot
[00:08:26] of people, a lot of important people,
[00:08:28] and I don't care if they're important or
[00:08:30] not, but important and not important
[00:08:31] people traveling that road. But I love
[00:08:34] the people of Florida. I love the entire
[00:08:36] Palm Beach area. I've been here for a
[00:08:38] long time, and I want to thank you all
[00:08:40] for being here. I'll remember this
[00:08:42] amazing gesture for the rest of my life
[00:08:44] and in particular Meg and Eric and all
[00:08:47] of the uh the people that work so hard
[00:08:49] for this. I also want to thank a man
[00:08:51] who's amazing. He's an administrator.
[00:08:53] He's one of the most talented people in
[00:08:55] the country at what he does. Joe
[00:08:57] Abbruso, he's here someplace. Joe,
[00:09:00] [applause]
[00:09:01] what a talented guy.
[00:09:04] There's nobody better in the whole
[00:09:05] country at what he does. So what he does
[00:09:07] is not easy, but everybody respects him
[00:09:10] and everybody listens to him and he's
[00:09:12] got great uh values, but he's got a
[00:09:14] great sense of uh design and everything
[00:09:16] else that you need. You need a lot of
[00:09:19] capability in that job and you have
[00:09:20] every every bit of it. Thank you, Joe,
[00:09:22] very much. I appreciate it. Thank you.
[00:09:24] And who is that young lady?
[00:09:28] >> Thank you very much. Fantastic. It's
[00:09:30] good to have you both. Let me also
[00:09:32] express my gratitude to all of the
[00:09:34] members of the Florida House. many of
[00:09:36] whom I've gotten to know over the years
[00:09:38] and the Senate. Incredible people. I
[00:09:41] mean, literally incredible people who
[00:09:44] united behind the legislation, granting
[00:09:46] me this great honor, including the
[00:09:48] Speaker of the House, Danny Perez, who I
[00:09:50] think has a hell of a future. I don't
[00:09:52] know what you're doing, Danny, but what
[00:09:53] a future. Wow.
[00:09:57] Because he has an unlimited political
[00:09:59] future, but uh whatever you choose, I'm
[00:10:01] behind you 100%. You know that, Danny.
[00:10:03] Thank you for a great job. Great job.
[00:10:07] And state senator President Ben
[00:10:10] Albrittain. I want to thank you, Ben.
[00:10:12] Uh, good job you're doing. You're doing
[00:10:15] Everybody's respected in this group. You
[00:10:16] know, they get along down in Florida,
[00:10:18] although I can't say that's necessarily
[00:10:20] always the case. I guess you probably
[00:10:22] have a couple of people that you maybe
[00:10:24] not as friendly with, but you are great
[00:10:26] people. Ben, thank you very much. I
[00:10:28] appreciate it. along with state
[00:10:30] representatives Danny Nicks, Chuck
[00:10:33] Brandon, Chip Lamar, Mike Roondo, Juan
[00:10:38] Carlos Paras, and State Senator Debbie
[00:10:42] Mayfield. Thank you all for being here.
[00:10:44] Thank you. Thank you very much.
[00:10:46] [applause]
[00:10:48] And we're also pleased to be joined by
[00:10:51] many distinguished guests, including
[00:10:52] Congressman, a friend of mine for a long
[00:10:54] time, Brian Mast. [cheering]
[00:10:59] Thank you, Brian. What a great guy.
[00:11:02] People love that guy. And another friend
[00:11:05] of mine and somebody I mean, you talk
[00:11:08] about attorney generals, there's no
[00:11:09] better attorney general than this one.
[00:11:11] He better win this race because I think
[00:11:13] he's going to. We're four I'm 407 and0.
[00:11:16] And I gave him my strongest endorsement.
[00:11:19] And uh James Um. So, where is James?
[00:11:23] [applause]
[00:11:24] Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
[00:11:27] Thank you very much. You You're doing
[00:11:30] good. How are the polls doing? Pretty
[00:11:31] good.
[00:11:32] >> It's a blowout, but let's not say that.
[00:11:34] Let's say you're winning by one or
[00:11:36] losing by one. Doesn't make any
[00:11:37] difference. Get them out to vote. Right.
[00:11:39] It was an honor to endorse you and
[00:11:41] congratulations.
[00:11:43] Doing a great job.
[00:11:46] And I want to thank Ron, too, because
[00:11:47] Ron has been uh really behind this with
[00:11:50] Meg and everybody else. And he he we did
[00:11:52] have his back in 100%. I appreciate it.
[00:11:55] And uh it's a great honor. Thank you
[00:11:57] very much. See you. Florida Agricultural
[00:12:00] Commissioner Wilton Simpson, who I've
[00:12:02] been with for a long time, right?
[00:12:04] [applause and cheering]
[00:12:05] I've been with him for a long time and I
[00:12:08] appreciate Thanks. Well, appreciate it
[00:12:10] very much. Executive Director of the
[00:12:12] Florida Department of Highway Safety and
[00:12:13] Motor Vehicles, Dave Kerner, who had so
[00:12:16] much to do with this. [cheering]
[00:12:18] Thank you. Thank you, Dave.
[00:12:22] Mayor of Palm Beach, Danielle Moore.
[00:12:24] She's a terrific woman. Where is
[00:12:26] Danielle? Thank you, Danielle.
[00:12:29] [applause] We're working on a little
[00:12:31] project. Nice, beautiful, clean, crisp
[00:12:34] water. Right, sir.
[00:12:35] >> And she's leading it. And she's
[00:12:37] incredible. Just like her mother was
[00:12:38] incredible and is Oh, where's mom? I
[00:12:41] want to see mom. Oh, there. You look
[00:12:43] good. You look very good. raing the a
[00:12:47] former mayor of Palm Beach and highly
[00:12:50] respected. Who's respected more? You or
[00:12:52] your mother? I don't know. It's pretty
[00:12:54] close, right? You're pretty close. She
[00:12:56] says mom is respected more. That's good.
[00:12:57] That a daughter better say that, right?
[00:13:00] Thank you, darling. Appreciate it.
[00:13:02] That's great. Thank you, Danielle. Glad
[00:13:04] you told me she was here. Former mayor
[00:13:07] Lesie Smith is here, who's great and a
[00:13:09] very a formerly very good golfer. I
[00:13:11] think she's still a good golfer. Lesie,
[00:13:13] where's Lesie? Lesie, thank you very
[00:13:16] much, Lesie.
[00:13:17] >> Thank you, Mr. President.
[00:13:18] >> Thank you. Thank you, darling. I
[00:13:20] appreciate it. We've known each other
[00:13:23] for a long time. Incredible people. And
[00:13:26] the members of the Palm Beach Town
[00:13:27] Council are here. Thank you all very
[00:13:30] much. You do a great job. You love the
[00:13:31] town. I love the town, too. I had a lot
[00:13:34] of choice on towns and I said, "This is
[00:13:36] the town I want to be in." So, I we all
[00:13:39] love it and uh it's an honor to have
[00:13:41] saved Mara Lago. You know, most of these
[00:13:43] great houses went down. They went down
[00:13:46] uh rapidly and they were subdivided into
[00:13:49] 25 homes, etc., etc. And I'll tell you
[00:13:52] what, uh this was an honor, but uh they
[00:13:56] like me because I saved the house.
[00:13:58] Somebody said they like me because
[00:13:59] you're a great president, but they like
[00:14:01] you more because I saved Marago. Saving
[00:14:03] Mara Lago was to them more important.
[00:14:07] >> Thank you very much. I like you. Thank
[00:14:09] you very much.
[00:14:12] uh, mayor of Palm Beach County, who I
[00:14:15] endorsed by the way, Sarah Baxter.
[00:14:18] Sarah, hi Sarah. Congratulations, Sarah.
[00:14:22] So, we're at 407 and0. We have to make
[00:14:25] sure that you're going to, but I think
[00:14:26] it's going to work out very well.
[00:14:27] Congratulations. You had so many people
[00:14:29] that said, "You got to be with her." I
[00:14:31] said, "I am. I am." So, good luck with
[00:14:33] the election. I know it's going to work
[00:14:34] out very well. Thank you. Good luck. uh
[00:14:37] the members of the county commission and
[00:14:40] the West Palm Beach City Commission who
[00:14:43] are unbelievable people. They love the
[00:14:46] area. They just they work hard and
[00:14:48] they're good. Where where are you? Can
[00:14:50] you raise your hands a little bit?
[00:14:52] Great, great, great, great, great. Thank
[00:14:55] you. Thank you. Great job you're doing.
[00:14:59] You know, we're all working together
[00:15:00] this place. We have uh we're working on
[00:15:03] a little water project and if we can get
[00:15:05] the water perfect, it'll be great.
[00:15:07] Mayor, you're you're heading it up from
[00:15:08] this part of the world and I know
[00:15:10] they're working in West Palm Beach in
[00:15:11] the area and we'll see whether it's
[00:15:13] desalinization or filtering. There's a
[00:15:16] couple of different ways we can do it,
[00:15:18] but whatever we can do, I think it would
[00:15:19] be great. We're working along with West
[00:15:21] Palm Beach also. So, thank you and thank
[00:15:23] you, Mayor. Uh Dan Nulan is here and
[00:15:27] Gina Lden is here and Linda Soch is here
[00:15:31] and Larry and Sue Snowden is are here.
[00:15:34] Thank you, Larry and Sue. Thank you. And
[00:15:37] basically just sort of like everybody's
[00:15:40] here and it's really something special.
[00:15:42] We're pleased to be in the same
[00:15:45] legislation
[00:15:47] as it renames another section of
[00:15:49] Southern Boulevard in a very nice
[00:15:51] section indeed. I know it well. In honor
[00:15:53] of three brave motorcycle deputies from
[00:15:56] the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office who were
[00:15:57] killed last year in a horrific accident.
[00:16:00] Horrible.
[00:16:01] It was uh a [clears throat] horrible
[00:16:04] situation.
[00:16:05] But I saw a lot of I saw so much love. I
[00:16:07] saw everybody in this room was there
[00:16:09] plus plus at our we had a ceremony in
[00:16:13] honor of these three incredible people.
[00:16:15] Corporal Louise Piaz Jr. who is just uh
[00:16:21] Louise PZ was uh somebody was loved and
[00:16:24] respected by so many people. They all
[00:16:26] said thank you for being there in honor
[00:16:28] of her. And Deputy Sheriff Ralph Butch
[00:16:32] Waller Jr. and Deputy Sheriff Ignacio,
[00:16:35] Dan Diaz, the three of them that what
[00:16:38] what happened to them just was
[00:16:40] unbelievable. The ceremony was one of
[00:16:42] the most beautiful and saddest
[00:16:43] ceremonies that I've ever attended. But
[00:16:46] I was deeply honored to be there on May
[00:16:49] 1st. I bestowed the honor of first ever.
[00:16:53] These were medals that were worked on by
[00:16:56] my son Eric very hard. We had a great
[00:17:00] jeweler. Can I say the name of the
[00:17:01] jeweler? Tiffany
[00:17:04] and they they uh came up with a a really
[00:17:08] incredible medal and it's called the
[00:17:10] medals of sacrifice and they did a
[00:17:13] beautiful job and it was really led by
[00:17:15] Eric Trump. So I want to thank you Eric
[00:17:17] too. Thank you.
[00:17:21] [applause] And unfortunately when events
[00:17:23] certain events happen like that and they
[00:17:25] do happen. They do happen. They
[00:17:27] shouldn't happen but they do happen. and
[00:17:29] we're going to do the medal ceremony.
[00:17:31] It's going to be something special. So,
[00:17:34] today we pay tribute to them and to
[00:17:36] those uh to the loved ones. Some of
[00:17:39] their family members are here. We love
[00:17:40] their family members, what they went
[00:17:42] through. Those deputies will live in our
[00:17:45] hearts forever. And Florida will
[00:17:46] remember them always with the PBSO
[00:17:50] Motorman Highway. PBSO Motorman Highway.
[00:17:54] It's great, beautiful thing. I'm going
[00:17:56] to see it every time I go up that road.
[00:17:59] Today's dedication ceremony for
[00:18:00] President Donald J. Trump Boulevard is
[00:18:03] special meaning to me because I've
[00:18:05] always had the unique bond with the
[00:18:07] great state of Florida.
[00:18:10] We had tremendous uh success here. I've
[00:18:12] been part of the community for more than
[00:18:15] 40 years. We won big here in Florida all
[00:18:17] three times. We set every record every
[00:18:19] time. And in 2024, we swept 61 of 67
[00:18:23] Florida counties. Nobody's ever done
[00:18:25] that and carried the state by almost two
[00:18:28] million votes which is the record. And
[00:18:32] uh then I was followed also from the
[00:18:35] governor's standpoint with Ron who did
[00:18:37] fantastically also and we really it's
[00:18:39] we've turned this state there are a few
[00:18:41] Democrats in the I don't want to get
[00:18:43] into this but we've turned the state
[00:18:45] extraordinarily red I would say wouldn't
[00:18:48] you say you'll find out you're going to
[00:18:50] see but over the past 12 months
[00:18:52] Florida's trust and confidence has
[00:18:54] really paid off because you made a
[00:18:57] correct choice one year ago we were I
[00:18:59] say it dead country the king of Saudi
[00:19:01] Arabia I was over in Saudi Arabia
[00:19:03] getting money for the for the country he
[00:19:06] put up $2 trillion
[00:19:08] gave us I'd like to invest in the United
[00:19:10] States $2 trillion that's a lot of money
[00:19:13] and then I went to Qatar $2 trillion and
[00:19:16] I went to the United Arab Emirates
[00:19:20] Muhammad $2 trillion so we took in six
[00:19:24] trillion that's why we have 18 because
[00:19:25] we got six from three countries that
[00:19:27] helps right Laura is that right hi Laura
[00:19:32] Boy, you are something. What spirit you
[00:19:34] have,
[00:19:36] >> Laura. Laura Loomer, thank you, honey,
[00:19:38] for being here. I appreciate it. She's,
[00:19:41] you know, she can be a little nasty, but
[00:19:43] to me, she's always nice, so that's all
[00:19:44] that matters. I want her to stay that
[00:19:46] way, too. But, uh, I was over there and
[00:19:51] he looked at me, the king of Saudi
[00:19:52] Arabia. He said, you know, I can't
[00:19:54] believe it. This was a few months ago.
[00:19:57] Took back all that money for the
[00:19:58] country. He said, "I can't believe this
[00:20:01] is happening cuz one year ago you were a
[00:20:03] dead country and now you're the hottest
[00:20:05] country in the world." And I use that
[00:20:07] quote all over. And it's true. We were a
[00:20:10] dead country and now we are the hottest
[00:20:13] country anywhere in the world. We're
[00:20:14] taking in more income than any country.
[00:20:18] We're doing better than any country. The
[00:20:20] stock market's doing better than
[00:20:22] anyone's ever seen before. We have the
[00:20:24] best stock market we've ever seen. 401ks
[00:20:26] are doing better than they've ever done
[00:20:28] before. They're up 78% in many cases.
[00:20:32] But starting on day one, we fully
[00:20:33] secured our southern boulevard and
[00:20:36] stopped the and think of it as we were
[00:20:39] securing Southern Boulevard, making
[00:20:40] Florida great. We're also securing a
[00:20:43] thing called the southern border and
[00:20:45] making that great. And we stopped the
[00:20:46] invasion of our country. So Florida's
[00:20:49] been ahead of our time.
[00:20:52] Florida was ahead. It led the way, but
[00:20:54] we stopped the this was an invasion on
[00:20:57] our border. And you know, I don't know
[00:20:59] if this is correct because it can't be
[00:21:00] correct. It's too good. But for the last
[00:21:03] 8 months, there have been no people that
[00:21:06] came into our country illegally. Now, I
[00:21:09] don't know if that's possible. How do
[00:21:11] you go from 25 million people in four
[00:21:13] years to zero people? But the people,
[00:21:17] Wilton, the people that report this are
[00:21:20] Democrats, so it must be true. I mean
[00:21:22] they got but it's [snorts] like eight
[00:21:24] months now and they reported every month
[00:21:27] no people came into our country so I
[00:21:30] don't know illegally a lot of people are
[00:21:32] coming illegally they're going through a
[00:21:34] process but we don't want the illegal
[00:21:36] coming and you look at what's happening
[00:21:38] in Minnesota it's so sad and it's so sad
[00:21:40] because ICE you know ICE is taking out
[00:21:43] murderers they're taking out drug lords
[00:21:46] they're taking out people from mental
[00:21:48] institutions bringing them back to their
[00:21:50] country they're taking out the roughest
[00:21:52] est roughest people trendwa
[00:21:55] the jails are emptied out from Venezuela
[00:21:57] now I like Venezuela very much I say
[00:21:59] good things I don't talk about Venezuela
[00:22:02] in a negative I think it's a wonderful
[00:22:03] country we just uh we just were it's
[00:22:07] very interesting it was it's so much
[00:22:09] different it's changed so much in
[00:22:11] literally a week uh it was one of the
[00:22:14] great military maneuvers of all time it
[00:22:17] was like flawless was one of the great
[00:22:19] of all time [applause]
[00:22:21] But
[00:22:23] we're dealing with the new president.
[00:22:24] We're doing dealing with a lot of the
[00:22:26] people that were running the country.
[00:22:28] And uh they had our first thing is they
[00:22:31] said, "We have 50 million barrels." Hard
[00:22:34] to believe, Eric. I said, "Is there such
[00:22:36] a thing as 50 million barrels?" 50
[00:22:38] million barrels of oil and we have to
[00:22:41] get it processed immediately because we
[00:22:44] have no room. Will you take it? I said,
[00:22:46] "We'll take it." I didn't have to
[00:22:48] consult with anybody on that. I didn't
[00:22:50] have to call up our great attorney
[00:22:52] general. I said we will take it and uh
[00:22:55] it's the equivalent of $5.2 billion.
[00:22:58] That was the first day and it's now
[00:22:59] traveling nicely to the United States.
[00:23:02] And uh we've had a great relationship
[00:23:04] with the people that that uh are
[00:23:07] currently the they call they say the
[00:23:09] interim president and everybody else.
[00:23:11] And it's been uh I think a lot of
[00:23:13] pressure has been released because you
[00:23:15] know that was a great country 20 years
[00:23:16] ago and then it went bad because it had
[00:23:19] the wrong system. It had a bad system
[00:23:21] and we can't ever fall into a position
[00:23:23] we have that where we have that system
[00:23:25] because that system isn't going to work.
[00:23:27] That system can make a lot of people
[00:23:28] that are good people bad people or
[00:23:30] incompetent people. But we passed the
[00:23:33] largest tax cuts in history, the largest
[00:23:35] regulatory cuts in history, and the
[00:23:37] largest spending cuts in history. And
[00:23:39] that got done. We call it the great big
[00:23:41] beautiful bill. We have no tax on tips,
[00:23:44] no tax on social security, no tax on
[00:23:47] overtime. Uh people that buy a car, they
[00:23:50] get a deduction now on their interest if
[00:23:51] they buy a car and borrow money. Never
[00:23:53] happened before. you know, rich people
[00:23:56] that got used to taking deductions.
[00:23:58] People in middle class situations or
[00:24:01] lower than middle class, uh, they never
[00:24:03] got deductions on anything they can.
[00:24:05] Now, I think it's going to have a huge
[00:24:06] impact. We're building more factories in
[00:24:08] the United States now than at any time
[00:24:11] in our history. And we have $18 trillion
[00:24:14] being invested. [applause]
[00:24:16] We have 18, Think of that, $18 trillion,
[00:24:19] more than any country has ever had by
[00:24:22] five times. Think of that. There's never
[00:24:25] been anything even close. Three trillion
[00:24:27] is the record. We're going to be, I
[00:24:29] think, at over 18. Through 10 months, it
[00:24:32] was 18. We could crack 20 by the time we
[00:24:37] have our first year, which will be in a
[00:24:38] little while, January 20th. So, I just
[00:24:42] uh I mean, it's been it's been amazing.
[00:24:45] We also did a couple of other things.
[00:24:47] Critical race theory and transgender
[00:24:49] insanity is out of our schools and out
[00:24:51] of our lives. and [applause]
[00:24:55] and we got men out of women's sports
[00:24:57] officially out of [cheering] women's
[00:24:59] sports. [applause]
[00:25:02] And everyone said, "Well, that's an 8020
[00:25:04] issue." No, that's a 982 issue. I don't
[00:25:07] even think it's 982. Military
[00:25:10] recruitment is setting records. A year
[00:25:11] ago, uh, and now you have to go a year
[00:25:15] and a half ago, I guess. But a year ago,
[00:25:18] military recruitment was at an all-time
[00:25:20] low. And that included for police and
[00:25:22] firemen. And now military recruitment,
[00:25:25] police and firemen is the highest it's
[00:25:27] ever been. We have never had this many
[00:25:29] people apply for jobs. We've never seen
[00:25:31] anything like it. And we hire now on a
[00:25:34] merit-based system because we won the
[00:25:36] court case, the Supreme Court case.
[00:25:37] Everything's based now on merit. So we
[00:25:40] get people in merit as opposed to
[00:25:42] putting people in jobs that maybe
[00:25:43] shouldn't be there. Whether it's nice or
[00:25:46] not, it's how our country grew. It's how
[00:25:47] our country became great. So we have
[00:25:49] [applause] a merit-based system. In less
[00:25:53] than a year, we made eight peace deals
[00:25:55] and ended the war in Gaza. We have peace
[00:25:57] in the Middle East. Nobody thought that
[00:25:59] was going to be possible. We stopped
[00:26:01] India and Pakistan from fighting. Two
[00:26:04] nuclear nations. They say many millions
[00:26:06] of people. the P the Pakistani prime
[00:26:08] minister said Donald Trump saved at
[00:26:10] least 10 million people and uh it was
[00:26:14] amazing and it's an honor [applause]
[00:26:17] and we obliterated Iran's nuclear
[00:26:19] enrichment capacity with operation
[00:26:22] midnight hammer that was another
[00:26:24] operation that was incredible and then
[00:26:26] you have Albaghdaddy
[00:26:28] we got out that's a founder of ISIS was
[00:26:30] rebuilding ISIS got him and Salamani
[00:26:33] he's the one the road the roadside bomb
[00:26:36] And frankly, he was a strong general and
[00:26:39] maybe we wouldn't have been so
[00:26:40] successful. I think we would have, but
[00:26:42] maybe we wouldn't have been so
[00:26:44] successful in Iran had he been around,
[00:26:46] but he destroyed a lot of lives. And a
[00:26:49] lot of young people that walk around
[00:26:51] with no legs, no arms, a face that was
[00:26:53] just, you know, just smashed. He was the
[00:26:56] father of the roadside bomb and he knew
[00:26:58] how to do it. We got him. And as I
[00:27:00] announced earlier this month from right
[00:27:02] here at Mara Lago, we apprehended the
[00:27:05] outlaw known as dictator Nicholas Maduro
[00:27:08] of Venezuela [cheering and applause]
[00:27:11] for his crimes against the United States
[00:27:13] and the rest of the world. And actually,
[00:27:16] no other nation in the world could have
[00:27:18] done that. And they actually admit that
[00:27:19] there's no other nation could have done
[00:27:21] what we did a week ago. Every single day
[00:27:23] of my administration, I will continue to
[00:27:26] put America first and fight for the
[00:27:28] great state of Florida. I love this
[00:27:30] state. Special place. I don't know. It's
[00:27:32] just special. You know it. I know it. A
[00:27:34] lot of people know because a lot of
[00:27:35] people are coming here. So that when
[00:27:38] people see that the beautiful sign is
[00:27:40] all lit up nice at night and it says
[00:27:43] Donald J. Trump Boulevard, they'll be
[00:27:46] filled with pride. Just pride not in me.
[00:27:48] Pride in our country. Pride in this
[00:27:50] state. Because our nation will be
[00:27:52] stronger, richer, and more successful,
[00:27:54] which is what it is right now. We're
[00:27:56] stronger, richer, and more successful
[00:27:58] than we have ever been before. And I
[00:28:00] didn't know the big surprise is that we
[00:28:02] could do it this quickly. I thought it
[00:28:03] would take us a couple of years maybe,
[00:28:05] but we did it very quickly. I mean, it's
[00:28:07] been 11 months. And we've never had
[00:28:10] anything like it. More factories, more
[00:28:13] everything. There's never been anything
[00:28:14] like we like what we've done. And that
[00:28:16] means car factories, too. Not just the
[00:28:18] AI. The AI is unbelievable what's
[00:28:20] happening there. We're leading China by
[00:28:22] a lot, but we're building more car
[00:28:24] factories than at any time in the
[00:28:26] history of our country. Who would think
[00:28:27] that
[00:28:30] and that's largely because of tariffs.
[00:28:32] They don't want to pay the tariff. It's
[00:28:33] pretty simple formula. You know, China
[00:28:35] became powerful because of that. They
[00:28:37] don't want to pay the tariff, but it
[00:28:39] only works really here. It works best
[00:28:41] here. What a lot of people don't
[00:28:42] understand, it doesn't work in most
[00:28:43] countries, but here it works great. So,
[00:28:46] because of that, we have more things
[00:28:47] happening than we've ever had. And I
[00:28:49] think you're going to see an explosion.
[00:28:50] and you already see it in all fairness,
[00:28:52] but this next year could be just an
[00:28:54] explosion of success. So [snorts] once
[00:28:57] again, I want to express my gratitude to
[00:28:59] every official who contributed to this
[00:29:01] great honor. In particular, Meg, who's
[00:29:03] an incredible What a future. She's got a
[00:29:06] good future, too, Daddy. Right.
[00:29:07] [cheering]
[00:29:08] Come here.
[00:29:12] [applause]
[00:29:14] And I want to thank especially
[00:29:16] my son and I want to thank the great
[00:29:18] people of Florida. This is just an
[00:29:21] amazing day for me and it's an amazing
[00:29:23] place and we're going to have three more
[00:29:26] great years, but hopefully we're going
[00:29:27] to have many, many decades of greatness
[00:29:30] in this country that we have it off to
[00:29:31] the right start. Thank you all very
[00:29:33] much. What an honor. Thank you. Thank
[00:29:36] you. Thank you very much. Good luck.
[00:29:39] Thank you fellas. Appreciate
[00:29:40] [applause and cheering] it. One is
[00:29:48] >> special.
[00:29:52] [cheering]
[00:29:55] [applause]
[00:29:59] >> That's a serious sign.
[00:30:03] Wilton, you want to come up here? You
[00:30:04] look at that. Come on. I don't know if
[00:30:06] you're going to compete with it, Wilton.
[00:30:07] This is all of a sudden you're looking a
[00:30:10] little bit a little bit squeezy there.
[00:30:13] >> Let's see. Good.
[00:30:16] >> Oh, that's great. Wow. I love that.
[00:30:19] >> Greatest president in in our lifetime.
[00:30:21] Wilton, how old are you? That sounds
[00:30:23] very
[00:30:25] >> And you do a great job, too. Thank you
[00:30:27] very much. Appreciate it.
[00:30:30] Thank [applause] you.
[00:30:35] Thank you.
[00:30:37] Thank you all very much. You know, we
[00:30:39] have a wedding here now. So they said,
[00:30:41] "Sir, is there any way you can move it
[00:30:43] quickly?" I said, "I'm not moving it
[00:30:44] quickly. Wait." And the people getting
[00:30:46] married outside and they said, "Take
[00:30:48] your time, sir. This is an honor." So
[00:30:50] it's sort of cute. Have a good time.
[00:30:52] Thank you everybody. Thank you.
[00:30:53] [cheering]
