[00:01:08] updates on what is going on with Nancy
[00:01:10] Guthrie. That is Savannah Guthri's mom.
[00:01:12] That is the biggest unfolding story in
[00:01:13] the country right now. The kidnapping of
[00:01:15] the 84year-old mother of the TV star
[00:01:18] has, I think, set a lot of people on
[00:01:20] edge and for very good reason. And
[00:01:21] apparently, according to the New York
[00:01:22] Post, Nancy Guthri's purported
[00:01:24] kidnappers claimed in a ransom note sent
[00:01:26] to TMZ that the 84year-old TV host mom
[00:01:29] is safe but scared. And they know
[00:01:31] exactly what chilling demands are being
[00:01:32] made for her return. The note apparently
[00:01:34] was sent to TMZ 2 days after Guthy's mom
[00:01:37] was reported missing and demanded
[00:01:39] millions in Bitcoin be turned over to
[00:01:41] avoid consequential repercussions.
[00:01:44] This, of course, is very scary stuff.
[00:01:45] Savannah Guthrie went on national media
[00:01:48] yesterday to plead with the kidnappers
[00:01:49] to release her mom. And obviously, it's
[00:01:52] an act of evil. There have been reports
[00:01:53] that neighbors had spotted some
[00:01:55] suspicious vehicles outside Nancy
[00:01:57] Guthri's home earlier in the week, a van
[00:01:59] that was parked down the street. Here is
[00:02:01] Savannah Guthrie pleading for the
[00:02:02] release of her mom.
[00:02:05] >> Our mom is our heart and our home.
[00:02:10] She is 84 years old. Her health, her
[00:02:14] heart is fragile.
[00:02:16] She lives in constant pain.
[00:02:20] She is without any medicine. She needs
[00:02:22] it to survive.
[00:02:24] She needs it not to suffer.
[00:02:28] [snorts]
[00:02:30] We too have heard the reports about a
[00:02:32] ransom letter in the media.
[00:02:35] As a family, we are doing everything
[00:02:38] that we can.
[00:02:41] We are ready to talk.
[00:02:43] >> Savannah Guthri's brother also released
[00:02:45] a video yesterday, late yesterday,
[00:02:48] asking kidnappers to release.
[00:02:51] >> This is Cameron Guthrie. I'm speaking
[00:02:53] for the Guthrie family. Whoever is out
[00:02:55] there holding our mother, we want to
[00:02:57] hear from you. We haven't heard anything
[00:02:59] directly. We need you to reach out and
[00:03:02] we need a way to communicate with you so
[00:03:04] we can move forward. But first, we have
[00:03:06] to know that you have our mom. We went
[00:03:09] to talk to you and we are waiting for
[00:03:11] contact.
[00:03:12] >> Absolutely horrifying case. Obviously,
[00:03:13] according to TMZ, the original ransom
[00:03:16] note contained insider details about the
[00:03:18] abduction, including information about
[00:03:19] her Apple Watch and a damaged flood
[00:03:21] light at her million-doll home. The note
[00:03:23] was sent before those details were
[00:03:24] publicly revealed, which is why some
[00:03:27] people think that the note is legit.
[00:03:29] Now, there were some people who are
[00:03:30] taking advantage of this. Apparently,
[00:03:33] one impostor had sent a ransom note, a
[00:03:36] fake ransom note, and then was caught
[00:03:38] and charged. According to the New York
[00:03:39] Post, a California man accused of
[00:03:41] sending phony ransom texts to Savannah
[00:03:43] Guthri's family about her missing mother
[00:03:44] has been arrested and charged. According
[00:03:46] to that criminal complaint filed on
[00:03:48] Thursday, some sick, twisted piece of
[00:03:51] trash named Derek Kala, who was in his
[00:03:53] mid-40s, messaged Guthri's daughter
[00:03:54] Annie and son-in-law, Tomaso Chion,
[00:03:56] about the ailing 84year-old on
[00:03:58] Wednesday, according to a complaint
[00:03:59] filed in Arizona federal court.
[00:04:03] A lot of sick people out there, a lot of
[00:04:04] perverse people out there. Obviously,
[00:04:07] apparently the authorities have been
[00:04:08] receiving a flurry of fake Nancy Guthrie
[00:04:10] ransom notes and that is actually
[00:04:12] bogging down their resources in their
[00:04:14] search for the actual kidnappers at this
[00:04:16] point. According to the post, at least
[00:04:18] three ransom messages have been reported
[00:04:20] to Arizona and federal authorities in
[00:04:22] the 5 days since Guthrie was disappeared
[00:04:24] from her million-dollar Tucson home.
[00:04:26] Only one of them was being taken
[00:04:27] seriously so far. There are a fair
[00:04:30] number of clues apparently that Nancy
[00:04:31] Guthrie was targeted.
[00:04:35] According to certain officials,
[00:04:38] including former special agent Tracy
[00:04:40] Walder at the FBI's LA field office, he
[00:04:43] says, "I think that this was targeted."
[00:04:45] He said, "I don't think this is a
[00:04:46] botched robbery because you don't want
[00:04:48] to burn yourself with the person that
[00:04:48] you're taking out." I mean, pretty
[00:04:50] clearly this was targeted.
[00:04:52] It'd be hard to imagine that it wasn't
[00:04:54] targeted. Well, there was an original
[00:04:56] ransom deadline. That ransom deadline
[00:04:58] did pass at 5:00 p.m. yesterday.
[00:05:03] That does not necessarily mean that
[00:05:04] something terrible happened, although
[00:05:05] the threats were there that something
[00:05:07] would happen if the deadline passed and
[00:05:09] a ransom was not paid.
[00:05:13] Now, all of this is very upsetting.
[00:05:16] Former FBI director Andrew McCabe said
[00:05:19] that in these situations, you get a lot
[00:05:21] of false leads, you get a lot of
[00:05:22] scammers, you get a lot of people trying
[00:05:24] to take advantage of a horrible
[00:05:25] situation. It's unthinkable, but it does
[00:05:27] happen.
[00:05:29] He said obviously that if you're a
[00:05:30] kidnapped 84y old person, then that is
[00:05:32] incredibly stressful medically,
[00:05:34] physiologically,
[00:05:36] psychologically.
[00:05:39] Whether the police are any closer is
[00:05:42] totally unclear at this point in time.
[00:05:46] The sheriff who's overseeing all of
[00:05:47] this, man Chris Nanos, he said they've
[00:05:50] gone through over a hundred tips at this
[00:05:51] point.
[00:05:53] >> Are you flooded with tips? Are you Is it
[00:05:56] Are the phones ringing non-stop?
[00:05:58] >> We We've probably gone through well over
[00:06:01] 100 tips.
[00:06:03] I I don't want to discourage anybody. Um
[00:06:07] all tips, no, there's no tip too small.
[00:06:10] We want all that information.
[00:06:13] Nos added that what had been described
[00:06:15] to him was a a very disturbing scene. He
[00:06:18] said that the the specific ransom note
[00:06:20] that they are taking very seriously
[00:06:21] again contained details about things at
[00:06:24] the house that were that were accurate.
[00:06:28] >> This one came to me in a text and I read
[00:06:31] it and I it concerned me right away
[00:06:33] where I thought, all right, I have a
[00:06:35] great search and rescue team, very
[00:06:36] robust. They do amazing things, but I
[00:06:39] felt like something didn't sound right
[00:06:41] to me. Um, and so I advised him right
[00:06:44] then, you should be calling our homicide
[00:06:46] team. What did you know? I I don't I
[00:06:49] can't get into that because it's part of
[00:06:51] the case, but uh they described to me a
[00:06:54] scene that just disturbed me.
[00:06:58] >> We'll bring you more updates. You can
[00:06:59] check all the updates over at the Daily
[00:07:00] Wire app where we have a podcast that is
[00:07:02] covering ongoing developments in the
[00:07:04] Nancy Guthrie case. We got to more on
[00:07:06] all this in just a moment. First, you
[00:07:08] know what holiday our sponsor Pure Talk
[00:07:09] celebrates? President's Day because they
[00:07:11] believe wireless service should only
[00:07:12] cost you a couple of presidents, just a
[00:07:13] Jackson and a Lincoln, which is 25 bucks
[00:07:15] a month for unlimited talk tax and
[00:07:17] plenty of data. Think about it. That's
[00:07:18] the cost of one or two meals out versus
[00:07:20] the hundreds that big wireless charges
[00:07:21] families every month. There's no reason
[00:07:23] wireless service actually needs to be
[00:07:24] that expensive. What makes Pure Talk
[00:07:26] different goes beyond just price.
[00:07:28] They're an American wireless company
[00:07:29] that actively supports our veterans and
[00:07:31] invests in a US-based customer service
[00:07:33] team. So, when you call, you're speaking
[00:07:34] with someone right here at home who can
[00:07:36] actually help you. I'm using Pure Talk
[00:07:38] all the time. I have to help run our
[00:07:40] business using my phone. It's very
[00:07:42] important to me that those calls be
[00:07:43] clear and Pure Talk makes that happen
[00:07:44] because they have the same tower network
[00:07:46] as the big carriers. So enjoy superior
[00:07:47] 5G coverage without the inflated price.
[00:07:49] Just 25 bucks a month for talk, text,
[00:07:51] and plenty of data. No contract, no
[00:07:52] cancellation fee. What precisely are you
[00:07:54] waiting for? Head on over to
[00:07:55] puretalk.com/apiro.
[00:07:57] You'll get 50% off your very first
[00:07:59] month. Again, that's puretalk.com/apiro
[00:08:01] and make the switch on over to Puret
[00:08:03] Talk. I rely on them every day. You can
[00:08:05] do the same. Head on over to
[00:08:06] puretalk.com/apiro.
[00:08:07] 50% off your very first month of
[00:08:09] coverage. Joining me on the line for all
[00:08:11] the latest updates is Lyndon Blake.
[00:08:12] She's our Daily Wire investigative
[00:08:14] reporter and of course she has a podcast
[00:08:15] covering all of this right now over at
[00:08:17] Daily Wire Plus. Just another reason you
[00:08:18] should go subscribe. She's bringing
[00:08:20] constant updates. Lyndon, thanks so much
[00:08:21] for the time.
[00:08:23] >> Of course, Ben, a lot to get to on the
[00:08:25] sixth day of the search for Nancy
[00:08:26] Guthrie.
[00:08:28] >> So, we we've heard obviously that the
[00:08:30] first deadline in what police believe to
[00:08:32] be a real ransom note has passed. What
[00:08:34] is the next deadline? What sort of
[00:08:35] consequences were threatened, if any?
[00:08:38] >> Yeah, so the next deadline's the big
[00:08:40] deadline. 5:00 p.m. Thursday, the first
[00:08:42] one, it's gone. The next one was Monday.
[00:08:45] And KGN, one of the outlets that
[00:08:47] reported receiving the ransom note, they
[00:08:49] gave details on what it meant if that
[00:08:51] deadline wasn't met on Monday. And they
[00:08:53] said the note threatened to kill Nancy
[00:08:55] if payment for the millions of dollars
[00:08:57] in Bitcoin wasn't received by Monday. So
[00:08:59] again, those two stations in Arizona,
[00:09:01] the local news stations plus TMZ, all
[00:09:04] got the same ransom note. That's new
[00:09:06] information that we learned during
[00:09:07] Thursday's press conference was the news
[00:09:09] outlets that got the ransom notes were
[00:09:11] the same. And again, it hasn't been
[00:09:13] authenticated as yes, the person that
[00:09:16] wrote this ransom note has Nancy, but
[00:09:17] this is a ransom note that the family
[00:09:19] has now addressed on camera twice. It's
[00:09:22] the one that the family is taken
[00:09:24] seriously and the FBI that's looking
[00:09:25] into the ransom notes and kind of
[00:09:27] heading up that part of the
[00:09:28] investigation made it clear that they
[00:09:30] can advise the family on what to say. We
[00:09:33] saw Savannah reading off a script. We
[00:09:34] saw her brother on Thursday night
[00:09:36] reading off a script. But ultimately it
[00:09:38] is up to the family to respond to agree
[00:09:42] to make a payment if they want to
[00:09:44] continue to engage with this person, the
[00:09:46] author of the ransom note. So to me that
[00:09:49] sticks out again as Savannah who has the
[00:09:52] Court TV background, the lawyer
[00:09:54] background is saying there is something
[00:09:56] in this ransom note and I do not believe
[00:09:58] it was the Apple Watch and the flood
[00:09:59] light that the sheriff and the FBI
[00:10:02] brought up as two things that were in
[00:10:04] the ransom note. I think there is more
[00:10:05] in that ransom note that is personal
[00:10:08] that the family is saying this seems
[00:10:10] legit. We're engaging. So meanwhile on
[00:10:12] Tuesday we had we had talked about this
[00:10:14] that Ashley Banfield had had reported
[00:10:16] that Nancy Guthrie son-in-law Tomaso
[00:10:18] Chioni might be the prime suspect but
[00:10:21] that apparently has been walked back and
[00:10:22] called reckless by the Puma County
[00:10:24] Sheriff Chris Nanos.
[00:10:26] >> Yeah. So when they did walk it back and
[00:10:29] it was called reckless. They did also
[00:10:30] say though that no one is ruled out. Of
[00:10:33] course, they're talking to the family,
[00:10:35] and that is something that Ashley
[00:10:37] Banfield, since we last talked, Ben, has
[00:10:39] not walked back on, that she is sticking
[00:10:41] by her law enforcement source that says
[00:10:43] the brother-in-law may be a prime
[00:10:45] suspect in this case. But again, Puma
[00:10:46] County Sheriff Chris Nanos said that
[00:10:49] they have no prime suspect. They have no
[00:10:51] person of interest. Day six here in the
[00:10:53] search for Nancy Guthrie. The action
[00:10:56] though that's happening at Annie
[00:10:57] Guthri's house and Tomaso Cion's house
[00:11:00] is that we now know they have taken one
[00:11:03] of those celebrate boxes, one of those
[00:11:05] boxes that just extracts all this
[00:11:07] digital information that that was seen
[00:11:09] leaving Annie Guthri's house. So we know
[00:11:12] they are looking in. This is a digital
[00:11:13] investigation and they're pulling stuff
[00:11:16] from Annie Guthri's house who mind you
[00:11:18] is the closest person that lives to
[00:11:20] Nancy. And something else that was
[00:11:22] walked back relating to Tom Toamaso and
[00:11:24] Annie Guthrie during Thursday's press
[00:11:26] conference was the sheriff has told news
[00:11:29] outlets that it was Tomaso that dropped
[00:11:32] off Nancy Guthrie Saturday night. We now
[00:11:35] know that she Ubered to her house, her
[00:11:37] her daughter's house, and was brought
[00:11:40] back by Tomaso. That was on record told
[00:11:43] to a news outlet. that was walked back
[00:11:45] during Thursday's press conference and
[00:11:47] the FBI was asked about it and they
[00:11:49] quickly exchanged at the podium and the
[00:11:51] sheriff comes up and he goes, "We're
[00:11:53] just saying family. We're just saying
[00:11:54] family." So, I thought that was
[00:11:56] interesting that was walked back as well
[00:11:57] as forced entry. That had been on record
[00:12:00] reported from authorities. That was
[00:12:02] walked back yesterday as well when he
[00:12:04] was saying, "I don't know where that has
[00:12:06] come from. That's something we're not
[00:12:09] talking about." Also, just was a note
[00:12:11] that was unusual, too. I'm not asking
[00:12:14] you to say that the window was busted in
[00:12:16] in the kitchen, but now you're saying
[00:12:18] that we're not discussing fourth century
[00:12:20] or not. That to me is like the person
[00:12:22] knew how to get in the house.
[00:12:23] >> Yeah. So, all of this obviously remains
[00:12:25] incredibly mysterious. Have we had any
[00:12:26] indicators from the Guthrie family that
[00:12:28] they are willing to go forward with some
[00:12:30] sort of ransom payment in order to free
[00:12:32] the mom or I assume that the question is
[00:12:35] whether the person is either legit or
[00:12:37] whether they do harm to Nancy Guthrie
[00:12:39] even if they receive the payment.
[00:12:42] >> Yeah. Well, there's no word if they're
[00:12:43] willing to pay. They want proof of life
[00:12:46] first. That's the big demand. They they
[00:12:48] do want to move forward and open up that
[00:12:50] communication line because a ransom note
[00:12:52] doesn't give any proof of life and it
[00:12:54] doesn't give a way to communicate. So
[00:12:55] that's why they are going out on
[00:12:56] Instagram. They're going out to the
[00:12:58] global platform and trying to be like,
[00:13:01] we want to talk. We want to communicate
[00:13:03] with you, but we want proof of life.
[00:13:06] They're not going to continue to play
[00:13:07] this fishing game. And now we know the
[00:13:09] imposttor from LA was arrested that
[00:13:11] reached out to Annie Guthrie and tried
[00:13:13] to get Bitcoin, but they want proof of
[00:13:15] life and they want to open the
[00:13:16] communication. And I am assuming if they
[00:13:19] are going that far that they know this
[00:13:21] is legit, there would be talks about
[00:13:23] payment as well because this is their
[00:13:25] mother. This is the grandmother that
[00:13:28] they obviously think is being held by
[00:13:31] this person of this ransom note.
[00:13:33] Obviously, we will continue to keep tabs
[00:13:35] on all of this, but the person who you
[00:13:36] should be listening to is, of course,
[00:13:39] Lyndon because she is hosting Finding
[00:13:41] Nancy Guthrie. That of course is our
[00:13:43] first ever true crime podcast. It is
[00:13:45] unfolding in real time and is following
[00:13:47] the investigation as it continues.
[00:13:49] Episode two is already out. Head on over
[00:13:51] to Daily Wire Plus right now and make
[00:13:53] sure that you subscribe so you can get
[00:13:55] all of the updates. Lyndon, really
[00:13:56] appreciate it.
[00:13:58] >> Thanks, Ben. Meanwhile, it does feel as
[00:14:00] though violence is becoming more
[00:14:02] normalized. High-profile violence. Yes,
[00:14:03] the murder rate is down across the
[00:14:05] country. Thank God for that. But it
[00:14:07] feels like the unhinged are finding it a
[00:14:10] particularly useful time to go after a
[00:14:14] wide variety of public figures.
[00:14:16] According to CBS News, a Maryland man
[00:14:18] who said he feared President Trump's
[00:14:19] re-election would lead to a fascist
[00:14:21] takeover is now facing attempted murder
[00:14:22] charges after he showed up at the Office
[00:14:25] of Management and Budget Director Russ
[00:14:26] Vault Northern Virginia home wearing a
[00:14:29] surgical mask and gloves, according to
[00:14:30] court documents and sources familiar
[00:14:32] with the matter. The person who did the
[00:14:35] attack was arrested January 22nd by
[00:14:37] Arlington County Police on several
[00:14:38] criminal charges. During the course of
[00:14:40] the investigation, agents with the US
[00:14:42] Marshall Service also discovered that
[00:14:44] this person had previously claimed to be
[00:14:45] writing a manifesto and that he had also
[00:14:47] drafted a series of notes detailing
[00:14:49] everything from a weapon stash to a body
[00:14:51] disposal guide. The court records show
[00:14:54] that the defendant is accused of
[00:14:55] plotting to murder a victim with the
[00:14:57] initials Arvy, who according to the
[00:14:59] criminal complaint has served as a
[00:15:00] presidential appointee.
[00:15:03] Sources familiar with the case
[00:15:05] separately confirmed to CBS News that
[00:15:06] the alleged target was apparently Ross
[00:15:08] Vote.
[00:15:10] Now, the fact that that most human
[00:15:12] beings could not identify Ross Vote if
[00:15:15] if looking through a police lineup. He
[00:15:17] he is not one of the most high-profile
[00:15:19] members of the Trump administration by
[00:15:21] leaps and bounds. And yet, the fact that
[00:15:23] he was being targeted for death by a
[00:15:25] deranged individual, again, it shows
[00:15:27] that there is something that is broken.
[00:15:28] There is something that is broken. the
[00:15:29] the normalization of political violence
[00:15:31] that reached its apex with the murder of
[00:15:33] Charlie Kirk. That has not gone away and
[00:15:35] it seems to be getting worse and worse.
[00:15:39] I I I'm not sure how to put that genie
[00:15:42] back in the bottle except for everyone
[00:15:44] to take down the temperature. Everyone
[00:15:46] has to take down the temperature because
[00:15:48] if that does not happen, then what you
[00:15:50] end up with is more violence.
[00:15:54] So, just to take another example, the
[00:15:57] feds have now arrested a person named
[00:15:59] Kyle Wagner, a cross-dressing Antifa
[00:16:00] terrorist who allegedly threatened to
[00:16:02] assault, kill, and dox officers in
[00:16:04] Minneapolis. According to Deputy
[00:16:05] Attorney General Todd Blanch, he said in
[00:16:08] an exost, "The Justice Department with
[00:16:10] ICE arrested a self-identified anti-ICE
[00:16:13] Antifa terrorist in Minneapolis today.
[00:16:15] Conspire and threaten to assault, kill,
[00:16:17] and dox officers and you'll find
[00:16:18] yourself in federal custody facing the
[00:16:20] full force of justice." Following the
[00:16:22] fatal shooting of anti-ICE activist Alex
[00:16:25] Prey in Minneapolis, according to the
[00:16:26] Daily Wire, Wagner allegedly told his
[00:16:28] followers to take up arms and attack law
[00:16:30] enforcement. This person said, "Show up
[00:16:32] ready to go, not talking about peaceful
[00:16:34] protests anymore." He called on people
[00:16:36] to march with guns and said, "The Second
[00:16:38] Amendment is the only thing that's going
[00:16:39] to keep you effing protected from
[00:16:40] literal effing Nazi gunmen. Get your
[00:16:42] effing guns and stop these effing
[00:16:44] people," he added. He was also seen in
[00:16:47] videos wearing women's clothing.
[00:16:50] Here was Caroline Levit announcing the
[00:16:54] arrest of this Antifa member.
[00:16:57] >> Just today, the Department of Homeland
[00:16:59] Security arrested this individual. Uh he
[00:17:02] is a self-proclaimed Antifa member uh
[00:17:05] who has been threatening, doxing,
[00:17:07] harassing ICE. Uh he called for the
[00:17:10] murder of federal law enforcement
[00:17:12] officers. He encouraged bloodshed in the
[00:17:14] streets of Minnesota. He proudly
[00:17:16] acclaimed affiliation with the domestic
[00:17:18] terrorist organization Antifa and the
[00:17:21] Department of Justice thanks to the
[00:17:22] great work of the of HSI and the FBI
[00:17:25] where it was able to locate and arrest
[00:17:27] this individual today.
[00:17:28] >> Now, unbelievably, one of these observer
[00:17:31] mobs, meaning people who who are trying
[00:17:33] to obstruct law enforcement, actually
[00:17:35] surrounded the agents who are arresting
[00:17:37] him, which just goes to show you how out
[00:17:39] of control things are in Minnesota.
[00:17:43] You can see here are the officers coming
[00:17:45] to arrest him and you have the observer
[00:17:46] mobs who are surrounding these officers
[00:17:48] as they go to arrest a criminal who's
[00:17:50] threatening to murder ICE officers.
[00:17:53] This is this is where we are now and
[00:17:54] this is being fmented by the mayor of
[00:17:56] Minneapolis and by the governor of
[00:17:58] Minnesota and by a legacy media that
[00:18:00] treats basic law enforcement function as
[00:18:02] a crime that apparently not only
[00:18:05] requires observers to be there but
[00:18:06] sometimes requires obstruction of law.
[00:18:09] And the person they're arresting was not
[00:18:11] particularly vague about his threats.
[00:18:13] Here is video of him threatening ICE.
[00:18:16] >> This is where ICE has come to die.
[00:18:24] I'm more than willing to keep the peace
[00:18:27] if they will go back to wherever they
[00:18:30] crawled out of and leave us alone.
[00:18:33] We want to know who they are. We will
[00:18:36] identify every single one of them and we
[00:18:39] will prosecute them to the full extent
[00:18:41] of the law.
[00:18:43] And if that has to be done at the barrel
[00:18:45] of a gun, then let us have a little fun.
[00:18:51] >> Obvious person is deranged. And when I
[00:18:53] say deranged, I think that you probably
[00:18:54] could have told that by his
[00:18:55] crossdressing fetish that he was
[00:18:57] observing online. This is this person
[00:18:59] when he is not looking somewhat like a
[00:19:02] tattooed skin head preparing to kill ICE
[00:19:04] members. This is for those who can't
[00:19:06] see, this is him wearing a cutout bra
[00:19:08] and short skirt and some sort of
[00:19:12] pornographic
[00:19:13] get up
[00:19:15] uh as as a man. So yes, it turns out
[00:19:18] that we are when you heat up the
[00:19:20] temperature politically, the the way
[00:19:21] that it has been heated up, you should
[00:19:23] not be surprised when it starts to
[00:19:26] overflow with the craziest people. And
[00:19:28] that is one thing that you are starting
[00:19:29] to see more and more these days.
[00:19:33] And and again, some of this is being
[00:19:34] promoted openly by Democrats. So, for
[00:19:37] example, Bernie Sanders was asked just
[00:19:39] yesterday if it's illegal for people to
[00:19:42] invade churches to protest immigration
[00:19:44] law, which of course is the subject of
[00:19:45] the Don Lemon arrest among other
[00:19:47] arrests. And here was Bernie Sanders
[00:19:49] basically refusing to say if it's
[00:19:51] illegal for people to do this.
[00:19:53] >> Can I ask you real quick what you think
[00:19:55] about Don Lemon's arrest?
[00:19:57] >> Well, made many statements.
[00:20:00] Do you think it was appropriate though
[00:20:02] for those protesters to be in the
[00:20:03] church? Is that a protected first
[00:20:05] amendment right inside the church
[00:20:07] protesting?
[00:20:11] >> And there he is just walking away. Why
[00:20:12] is it hard to just say it's wrong for
[00:20:14] people to invade a church to do this
[00:20:16] stuff? I disagree with what ISIS is
[00:20:17] doing, but it's wrong for people to
[00:20:18] invade a church. And the answer is that
[00:20:20] for the radical left and for the
[00:20:22] increasingly the mainstream left, the
[00:20:24] people who are violent, the people who
[00:20:25] are crazy, those people are just too
[00:20:27] wedded to the cause. meaning they are
[00:20:29] just too pure in intent. They're the
[00:20:31] people who are doing the real
[00:20:33] revolutionary work. And sure, we don't
[00:20:35] we don't love what they're doing. But
[00:20:37] are we able to condemn what they're
[00:20:38] doing when they are really standing in
[00:20:40] heroic ways for the things that need to
[00:20:42] be done? This is the permission
[00:20:44] structure that has been created
[00:20:46] increasingly by the mainstream left for
[00:20:48] acts of violence.
[00:20:50] And it's happening all over the place.
[00:20:52] Yesterday, Alexander Okaziocortez was
[00:20:54] asked about Don Lemon and his husband,
[00:20:57] commended their bravery.
[00:21:00] >> I just have to give my kudos. Um, it is
[00:21:03] not easy and you know, I know that Don
[00:21:06] is at the center of this, but you know,
[00:21:09] it it affects all of our families. And
[00:21:11] so for you to stand up there and um and
[00:21:14] to be in this situation, I just want to
[00:21:16] commend the bravery of both of you and
[00:21:20] um and just, you know, kudos and the
[00:21:24] envy of everyone. Everybody wants a
[00:21:26] moment like that. So congratulations.
[00:21:28] >> And by the way, AOC spilling the beans
[00:21:30] at the very end there. Everyone wants a
[00:21:31] moment like that. Yes, Don Lemon was
[00:21:32] gaming for a moment like that.
[00:21:34] Absolutely. Being part of the resistance
[00:21:36] means that if you can draw law
[00:21:37] enforcement upon you, then you have now
[00:21:39] become a victim. even if you're the one
[00:21:41] who's allegedly committing the crime.
[00:21:43] For her part, Assistant Attorney General
[00:21:44] Har Dylan, Civil Rights Division, she
[00:21:47] says there may be as many as 40 people
[00:21:48] who are charged for entering the church
[00:21:50] and disrupting church activities under
[00:21:51] the Face Act.
[00:21:54] >> How big is the universe of suspects
[00:21:56] right now? We're talking uh about 10
[00:21:58] people. Is is it 15 people? Is it 20?
[00:22:02] >> There are nine people who've been
[00:22:03] arrested pursuant to the indictment. I
[00:22:06] believe the total number of people
[00:22:07] involved in this based on what we see on
[00:22:09] the videos that were streamed uh by the
[00:22:11] participants themselves is probably
[00:22:13] closer to 40 people.
[00:22:16] >> Okay. Meanwhile, the rest of the Trump
[00:22:17] administration continues to say that the
[00:22:18] law must be enforced. This is where the
[00:22:21] left's overreach could really harm them
[00:22:23] because it turns out Americans don't
[00:22:24] like this sort of radicalism very much.
[00:22:25] They really, really do not. Caroline
[00:22:27] Levit said that President Trump will not
[00:22:28] waver in enforcing immigration law.
[00:22:31] When it comes to any discussions about
[00:22:33] immigration policy, the president is
[00:22:35] never going to waver in his commitment
[00:22:37] to allow immigration enforcement efforts
[00:22:39] in this country and to support ICE and
[00:22:42] border patrol and the deportation of
[00:22:44] illegal alien criminals.
[00:22:46] >> And Levit also continued by pointing out
[00:22:48] that while everybody is very much
[00:22:49] focused on ICE and the supposed
[00:22:52] predatory evils of ICE, there are still
[00:22:54] illegal immigrants who are in the
[00:22:56] country and should not be here who are
[00:22:57] killing people.
[00:22:59] Four Americans were tragically killed
[00:23:01] and lost their lives this week yet again
[00:23:04] from an illegal alien and individual who
[00:23:06] was parrolled into the country by the
[00:23:08] Biden administration using the CBP1 app
[00:23:11] which they created like it was a magic
[00:23:13] pass for Disney Disneyland. That's not
[00:23:15] how immigration in this country should
[00:23:17] work. And this illegal alien from
[00:23:19] Kyrgyzstan was traveling on an Indiana
[00:23:22] highway and he failed to break for a
[00:23:24] slowed semi-truck in front of him. He
[00:23:26] swerved into the lane and he crashed
[00:23:28] into a van carrying 15 passengers and
[00:23:30] four people were killed in that crash.
[00:23:32] This is another tragedy that could have
[00:23:34] been prevented if not for the wideopen
[00:23:36] borders uh from the previous
[00:23:38] administration. That's why we now have a
[00:23:40] secure border. That's why this
[00:23:41] administration will continue to deport
[00:23:43] illegal aliens from our country.
[00:23:45] >> Okay, we should point out at this point
[00:23:46] that one of the big reasons for the
[00:23:48] Trump coalition and it is a coalition.
[00:23:50] One of the big reasons that Trump is
[00:23:51] able to manage a very unwieldy coalition
[00:23:53] is because it is not a conservative
[00:23:55] coalition. It is not a Christian
[00:23:57] coalition. It is an anti-left coalition.
[00:23:59] Just to be accurate about this, if the
[00:24:01] Republican party wants to build going
[00:24:03] forward, they are going to have to
[00:24:05] retain a modicum of moderation, they're
[00:24:07] going to have to recognize that the vast
[00:24:09] majority of the American people are not
[00:24:11] people who agree with me on every policy
[00:24:14] or agree with the vice president on
[00:24:15] every policy or agree with Steven Miller
[00:24:19] on every policy. That actually, if you
[00:24:20] want to retain electoral success, the
[00:24:22] best way to do that is to point to the
[00:24:23] radicalism of the left and to say,
[00:24:25] "We're not that. We're the normies." Why
[00:24:27] do I bring this up? Well, yesterday the
[00:24:29] president returned to the National
[00:24:30] Prayer Breakfast
[00:24:33] and uh and he gave what was I think a
[00:24:35] pretty amusing speech. Bunch of
[00:24:37] high-profile attendees obviously
[00:24:38] including the Secretary of Defense Pete
[00:24:40] Hegsth, the Attorney General Pam Bondi,
[00:24:43] Interior Secretary Doug Bergam, VA
[00:24:45] Secretary,
[00:24:46] DNI Tulsy Gabbard, bunch of other
[00:24:48] people. And the the president then
[00:24:51] proceeded to give a speech that was sort
[00:24:55] of religious in overtone. But but one of
[00:24:58] the things about Trump that that is
[00:24:59] fascinating is that he's been able to do
[00:25:01] things that a lot of Christians,
[00:25:02] conservatives, religious Jews like me
[00:25:04] like that he's been able to do a lot of
[00:25:06] those things while maintaining a largely
[00:25:08] secular coalition.
[00:25:10] If you take a look, for example, at the
[00:25:12] Republican party coalition these days,
[00:25:16] this is a graphic of religious
[00:25:18] affiliation by party affiliation in
[00:25:21] 2023. And so right before Trump's
[00:25:23] re-election, this is from PRI and the
[00:25:25] American Values Atlas. If you take a
[00:25:28] look at the religious constituency of
[00:25:30] the Republican party, what you see is
[00:25:33] that in 2013,
[00:25:36] about 10% of people who identified as
[00:25:38] Republican religiously unaffiliated.
[00:25:40] Today, that number is 12%.
[00:25:43] In 2013, the percentage of people who
[00:25:46] identified as Jewish in the Republican
[00:25:50] party was 0%. Today, it's 2%. If you
[00:25:53] look at non-Christian, non-Christian was
[00:25:56] 0%, now it's 2%. those incremental
[00:25:58] increases in the non-religious party
[00:26:00] affiliation inside the
[00:26:03] the that increase that what what would
[00:26:06] appear to be marginal increase in
[00:26:08] non-Christian affiliation inside the
[00:26:11] Republican party is in fact not marginal
[00:26:13] because the the overall loss of sort of
[00:26:16] traditional religious constituency in
[00:26:18] the Republican party is reflective of an
[00:26:20] overall loss of religiosity in the
[00:26:22] American public more generally
[00:26:24] if you went back further by the way what
[00:26:26] you would see is a bigger slide that the
[00:26:27] vast majority of Republicans used to be
[00:26:30] religious. Today, the majority of
[00:26:32] Republicans are religious, but an
[00:26:33] increasing percentage are not
[00:26:34] particularly religious. And it is pretty
[00:26:36] religiously diverse. 30% of Republicans
[00:26:39] in 2023 were white evangelical
[00:26:40] Protestants. Another 20% were white
[00:26:43] mainline non-eangelical Protestants.
[00:26:45] About 17% were white Catholics. That
[00:26:48] number has not increased since 2013.
[00:26:50] About 3% were Latter-day Saints. That's
[00:26:53] actually a decrease of 1%. you've seen a
[00:26:56] fairly significant increase in black and
[00:26:59] Hispanic Protestants
[00:27:01] and then you've seen sort of the other
[00:27:03] category has has grown a fair bit.
[00:27:06] Now, that doesn't mean that the
[00:27:08] Republican party should somehow abandon
[00:27:10] the moral issues that make the
[00:27:11] Republican party the Republican party.
[00:27:12] That's not my case. My case is that
[00:27:15] making the Republican party
[00:27:16] non-ecumenical as opposed to ecumenical
[00:27:18] is a mistake. And you've seen this sort
[00:27:20] of move being made on behalf of some
[00:27:22] parts of the sort of tradath right some
[00:27:26] of the quasi integralists on the right
[00:27:28] who seem to be making a move to break up
[00:27:31] the Republican coalition by suggesting
[00:27:34] that there is a vast religious revival
[00:27:36] that is happening in the country that is
[00:27:37] going to drive Republicans to victory.
[00:27:39] Those numbers do not exist. I'm just I
[00:27:42] wish, by the way, I wish there were.
[00:27:43] Okay, so don't get me wrong. I wish
[00:27:45] there were a vast religious revival in
[00:27:47] the country and that the Republican
[00:27:48] party was closer to its biblical moral
[00:27:51] values. I wish that were the case. That
[00:27:54] is not supported by the data, which is
[00:27:56] why Trump is the right president for
[00:27:57] this moment, and it's why Republicans
[00:27:59] have to watch out for this sort of
[00:28:00] coalitional building and how not to
[00:28:02] break it up. Let me show you a couple of
[00:28:05] other statistics in terms of how often
[00:28:07] people attend religious services. For
[00:28:09] example, those numbers have been
[00:28:12] declining radically.
[00:28:15] In the people who were born in the
[00:28:17] 1940s, 49% of those people, people who
[00:28:19] are now aged 75 plus essentially,
[00:28:23] those people, 49% of them go to church
[00:28:26] at least monthly. Today, people who are
[00:28:28] born 2000 to 2006, that number has been
[00:28:31] sliced in half, 25%.
[00:28:34] How about weekly? Same numbers, 40% for
[00:28:37] people who are 75 up.
[00:28:39] 18% for people who are aged 18 to 24.
[00:28:45] So when you talk about the increasing
[00:28:47] irreligiosity of the body politic, that
[00:28:49] is correct.
[00:28:51] So it is still true that on a on a
[00:28:54] political basis, the more religious you
[00:28:55] are, the more you identify as
[00:28:56] Republican. But one of the things that's
[00:28:58] really sort of fascinating is that even
[00:29:00] the people who identify in the top
[00:29:01] quintile of religion are not down the
[00:29:04] line in terms of their conservatism.
[00:29:07] That doesn't mean again that Republicans
[00:29:08] should abandon social issues. They
[00:29:10] absolutely should not. But it does mean
[00:29:13] that the more overt you are about the
[00:29:15] more marginal social issues, the more
[00:29:17] you are likely to lose the Trump
[00:29:18] coalition. The thing about President
[00:29:20] Trump, again, he's winning outside
[00:29:21] shares of Christians and evangelicals
[00:29:23] and Catholics and all the rest of this.
[00:29:24] He's doing all of that because the left
[00:29:25] is crazy, not because he is campaigning
[00:29:28] as some sort of religious figure.
[00:29:31] So the president, for example,
[00:29:34] has not taken the position,
[00:29:37] a very strong position anyway, that
[00:29:40] women should drop out of the workforce.
[00:29:42] There's a wing of the of the Republican
[00:29:44] coalition that says basically it is best
[00:29:46] if all women are are at home and none
[00:29:48] are working. That is a a again a fringe
[00:29:50] wing that seems to be gaining credence
[00:29:51] in places like X. Okay. The reality in
[00:29:54] American politics, 34% of people in the
[00:29:56] highest quintile of religious observance
[00:29:58] believe children are better off if the
[00:30:00] mom stays at home to raise them. One/3.
[00:30:04] So even the most religious quintile is
[00:30:05] not saying that. And that's again the
[00:30:08] top 20% I'm sure virtually all of whom
[00:30:10] are voting Republican.
[00:30:12] When you look at all of these issues,
[00:30:15] 61% of people in the highest quintile
[00:30:17] identify with or lean toward the
[00:30:18] Republican party. 63% of those people
[00:30:22] believe that abortion should be illegal
[00:30:23] in most or all cases, which of course is
[00:30:24] the position that I take.
[00:30:28] Only 34% again say children are better
[00:30:30] off if the mom stays home to raise them.
[00:30:33] And only 37% say America risks losing
[00:30:35] national identity if it's too open to
[00:30:37] outsiders. In other words, these sort of
[00:30:39] trad movement, which by the way is sort
[00:30:42] of destroying itself online right now
[00:30:44] because it turns out a lot of the TRD
[00:30:45] influencers are are acting in very
[00:30:47] non-trad ways, shall we say. There's a
[00:30:50] pretty high-profile case online in which
[00:30:52] a supposedly trad influencer
[00:30:56] was uh sleeping with another trad
[00:30:59] influencer. And unfortunately, this sort
[00:31:00] of thing is is not particularly
[00:31:04] I' say uncommon these days.
[00:31:07] According to Will Summer writing at the
[00:31:09] bull work, the online right has been
[00:31:11] shaken this week by a recording that
[00:31:12] suggests far-right podcaster Elijah
[00:31:14] Schaefer, one of the biggest proponents
[00:31:16] of traditional or trades may have had an
[00:31:18] affair with employee Sarah Stock, an
[00:31:20] egirl and influencer so ostensibly
[00:31:22] traditional her marriage was blessed by
[00:31:23] the pope himself. Right? This sort of
[00:31:25] stuff unfortunately there's a lot of
[00:31:27] hypocrisy in this particular area. The
[00:31:28] reason I'm pointing this out again, if
[00:31:30] you wish Republicans to win, then
[00:31:32] presenting good policy with a moderate
[00:31:35] face, even if you have outsized rhetoric
[00:31:37] like President Trump is a better path to
[00:31:38] victory than embracing the fringe
[00:31:42] positions taken by so many in the ex
[00:31:44] space. President Trump can go to the
[00:31:46] National Prayer Breakfast and he can
[00:31:48] give what are at best sort of vague
[00:31:49] religious statements and that's fine
[00:31:52] with people. And President Trump
[00:31:54] literally joked about making it to
[00:31:56] heaven at the National Prayer Breakfast.
[00:31:57] Here he was yesterday.
[00:32:01] >> I said, "Where?" National Prayer
[00:32:02] Breakfast. I said, "I'll be there. I'm
[00:32:04] afraid not to be. I need all the help I
[00:32:07] can get. [applause]
[00:32:10] I'm never going to make it to heaven. I
[00:32:13] just don't think I qualify.
[00:32:15] I don't think there's a thing I can do.
[00:32:17] But all of these good things I'm doing,
[00:32:19] including for religion, you know,
[00:32:20] religion's back now hotter than ever
[00:32:22] before. I mean, I have to tell you.
[00:32:25] [applause]
[00:32:26] But I said, even though I did that and
[00:32:28] so many other things, I named things. I
[00:32:30] said, I won't qualify. I'm not going to
[00:32:32] make it to heaven. And the New York
[00:32:33] Times did a front page story that Donald
[00:32:36] Trump is questioning his life and the
[00:32:39] meaning of his life. No, I was just
[00:32:41] having fun. I really think I probably
[00:32:44] should make it. I mean, I'm not a
[00:32:46] perfect candidate, but I did a hell of a
[00:32:48] lot of good for perfect people, that's
[00:32:50] for sure.
[00:32:52] >> Again, that sort of last line there that
[00:32:54] he's done a lot of things for people.
[00:32:55] Again, I think that is why he's the
[00:32:57] president, has been president twice.
[00:32:58] President Trump also joked about Mike
[00:33:00] Johnson's religiosity, the speaker of
[00:33:01] the house.
[00:33:04] >> In 2025, more copies of the Holy Bible
[00:33:07] were sold in the United States than at
[00:33:10] any time in the last 100 years. Now, how
[00:33:14] about that?
[00:33:18] How about that? Did you know that, Mr.
[00:33:20] Speaker? You know, Mike Johnson's a very
[00:33:23] religious person and he does not hide
[00:33:26] it. He'll say to me sometimes at lunch,
[00:33:29] "Sir,
[00:33:30] may we pray?" Say, "Excuse me, what
[00:33:33] happened lunch?" You know, the old it's
[00:33:35] okay with me. [laughter]
[00:33:38] But President Trump also says, "Listen,
[00:33:40] you have to believe in something. You
[00:33:41] have to have religion general." And this
[00:33:42] is the American position. The American
[00:33:44] position is that biblical values are
[00:33:46] good and that we like the practice of
[00:33:48] religion in this country. freedom of
[00:33:50] religion and freedom from government
[00:33:51] intervention in religion. That is the
[00:33:53] same amendment and that is for a reason.
[00:33:56] That broadly ecumenical approach is a
[00:33:59] winning approach for the Republicans and
[00:34:00] pointing at the radical left
[00:34:02] anti-religious secularism of the left is
[00:34:04] a winning approach for Republicans.
[00:34:09] >> I've always said you just can't have a
[00:34:12] great country if you don't have
[00:34:14] religion. You have to believe in
[00:34:16] something. You have to believe that what
[00:34:18] we're doing, there's a reason for it. Of
[00:34:21] >> course, he is obviously correct about
[00:34:23] that. And President Trump has the pulse
[00:34:27] of the American people on the vast
[00:34:28] majority of issues, which is why he
[00:34:30] usually takes the 80%. Republicans need
[00:34:32] to continue to do that. The good news is
[00:34:34] Democrats are making it fairly easy.
[00:34:36] Democrats, for example, when it comes to
[00:34:38] voter ID, continue to take the position
[00:34:40] that it is Jim Crow 2.0 to do voter ID.
[00:34:44] That, of course, is unbelievably silly.
[00:34:46] President Trump says, "Listen, everybody
[00:34:47] wants voter ID. Democrats obviously
[00:34:50] would like to cheat if they don't want
[00:34:51] voter ID."
[00:34:54] >> It polls at 97%.
[00:34:57] And even the Democrat, the people, the
[00:34:59] voters are at 82% for voter ID, but the
[00:35:02] leaders don't want to approve it. They
[00:35:04] said they will strike. They will not
[00:35:06] allow it to happen. It's polling at over
[00:35:08] 90%. It's called voter identification.
[00:35:11] When you go to the polls, you show a
[00:35:13] yes, my name is so and so and I live in
[00:35:15] the country. I'm here. I can vote. They
[00:35:18] say that's not allowed. And no,
[00:35:21] everyone's trying to figure it out. And
[00:35:24] they do something to win. You know what
[00:35:26] it is? They cheat. But let's get on to
[00:35:28] another subject.
[00:35:30] >> Well, Bill Maher was with Stephen A.
[00:35:31] Smith and they were both pointing out
[00:35:32] that it's very stupid for Democrats to
[00:35:34] call voter ID Jim Crow 2.0.
[00:35:38] Don't engage in that kind of hyperbole
[00:35:40] because we're living in the year 2026
[00:35:42] and when you start bringing up Jim Crow
[00:35:45] 2.0, you're trying to hearken back to a
[00:35:48] time that most people recognize. No,
[00:35:50] we're not living in those times right
[00:35:52] now. Of course, we've got our troubles,
[00:35:54] but we're not doing Don't do that
[00:35:55] because that's playing right into
[00:35:57] Trump's hands. Was I right in saying
[00:35:59] that?
[00:36:00] >> And yes, and you're factually right.
[00:36:02] It's it's this uh thing that he's trying
[00:36:05] to do with not conceding elections
[00:36:08] um that it's not primarily a racial
[00:36:11] issue. Not everything is primarily a
[00:36:14] racial issue. It has racial overtones as
[00:36:16] does everything in this country. But
[00:36:19] yes, you're right. It's foolish to make
[00:36:21] it about that.
[00:36:22] >> Okay. Obviously, that is correct.
[00:36:24] Democrats keep taking the 20% on the
[00:36:26] 8020. That is a very, very dumb bet.
[00:36:28] Now, when it comes to the 2026
[00:36:30] elections, it is not as though
[00:36:31] Republicans are set to clean up. And the
[00:36:34] question becomes why? And there are a
[00:36:35] few key reasons. One is people still
[00:36:37] feel on tensor hooks about the economy.
[00:36:40] That is definitely one big reason. And
[00:36:42] another reason is because people are
[00:36:44] tired, man. I mean, let's just be real
[00:36:46] about this. People are very tired of the
[00:36:47] way that politics has been working in
[00:36:49] the country. A large part of that has
[00:36:50] been driven by the left. But it doesn't
[00:36:53] help when you have headlines like you
[00:36:54] have today about the stuff that the
[00:36:55] president has been apparently posting
[00:36:57] over at Truth Social. There is a video
[00:36:59] that he posted over at Truth Social that
[00:37:02] apparently contains an image of the
[00:37:04] Obamas as apes. Now, obviously ugly,
[00:37:08] terrible, stupid, all those things. Do I
[00:37:12] think the President Trump even watched
[00:37:13] the whole video? I have serious doubts.
[00:37:15] President Trump has a habit of late
[00:37:16] night truththing where he just sort of
[00:37:18] gets up at 3:00 a.m. or he's up at 3:00
[00:37:20] a.m. and he just starts truththing
[00:37:22] things out. And I I almost certain that
[00:37:26] the president never watches the entirety
[00:37:29] of any video. I don't think he has the
[00:37:30] attention span to get through any of the
[00:37:32] videos that he has tweeted. I think he
[00:37:33] sees that there is something that is
[00:37:35] proTrump. He puts it out there and if
[00:37:37] there's an ugly image in there, either
[00:37:39] he ignores it or he didn't see it in the
[00:37:40] first place as a general rule.
[00:37:43] doesn't mean that it's good for him to
[00:37:44] do it. I think that is the reality.
[00:37:46] Here's here's the video that is now
[00:37:48] launching a thousand think pieces.
[00:37:51] >> Initiated by a court order, the Michigan
[00:37:53] investigation team obtained forensic
[00:37:55] access to a DS200 tabulator, the machine
[00:37:58] that counts the votes. A Tellet 4G
[00:38:01] wireless chip manufactured in Taiwan was
[00:38:04] discovered embedded into the
[00:38:05] motherboard. The voting machine tapes
[00:38:08] clearly indicate modem engagement and
[00:38:10] transmission of election data.
[00:38:15] Some of the anomalies that we noticed in
[00:38:16] the 2020 general elections that five key
[00:38:20] states all stopped counting at the
[00:38:22] certain time in these key battleground
[00:38:24] states. These were all where the
[00:38:26] software Dominion machines ESNS machines
[00:38:28] were used the the smartmatic the gyms
[00:38:31] software. [music]
[00:38:32] So when the vote stopped counting and
[00:38:34] this has been noted in other countries
[00:38:36] as well, President Trump was
[00:38:38] significantly ahead. When reporting and
[00:38:41] counting resumed, there was a massive
[00:38:43] spike occurred that that favored Joe
[00:38:46] Biden.
[00:38:52] >> Okay. So if you actually watch that
[00:38:54] entire video in context, what you see is
[00:38:56] that the video is a minute 2 seconds
[00:38:57] long. The first 59 seconds of that video
[00:39:01] is a person speaking to camera
[00:39:05] about Dominion Voting Systems and the
[00:39:08] president put out a post about how many
[00:39:09] votes were deleted and all this. I I
[00:39:11] don't think that that stuff is
[00:39:12] verifiably true. But as far as the video
[00:39:15] goes, the very very tail end, like the
[00:39:17] very very end, that's when you get the
[00:39:19] graphic of the Obama's as a now does
[00:39:22] that justify? It doesn't justify
[00:39:23] anything. But I think that the
[00:39:25] suggestion that the president did not
[00:39:26] watch the entirety of the video and that
[00:39:28] he just put that out late at night
[00:39:30] because he watched the first 25 seconds
[00:39:32] of the video or 40 seconds of the video.
[00:39:34] I would say that that is extremely high
[00:39:35] probability. That nonetheless will
[00:39:37] launch a thousand thing pieces. That
[00:39:38] sort of thing is shall we say
[00:39:41] self-defeating at the very least. Aside
[00:39:43] from being immoral if the president did
[00:39:45] it on purpose, which I don't think he
[00:39:46] did, that it is self-defeating. It is it
[00:39:49] is an own goal. There is no reason for
[00:39:51] that sort of activity. And it is one of
[00:39:52] the reasons why the president has never
[00:39:54] been able to get to 55 or 60% in the
[00:39:56] approval ratings even when his policy
[00:39:58] has been at its height. While the big
[00:40:00] game is coming up obviously on Sunday
[00:40:02] and our friends over at Cali are
[00:40:03] sponsors. According to the Kelshi
[00:40:05] markets, you can buy a yes on Seattle at
[00:40:08] 69 cents and a yes on New England at 33
[00:40:12] cents. I believe that the the Vegas odds
[00:40:14] right now also have Seattle as a pretty
[00:40:16] heavy favorite in this game. We're going
[00:40:19] to go through some of the ads for the
[00:40:20] big game. Some have been pre-released.
[00:40:22] We begin with Bud Light. Here's some of
[00:40:25] their ad.
[00:40:27] >> Oo, what's that? First beer of the
[00:40:29] wedding.
[00:40:30] >> Is there enough for everyone?
[00:40:32] >> Oh, right there.
[00:40:35] >> I got this.
[00:40:37] >> So, we got Post Malone. We got Shane
[00:40:39] Gillis and Pton Manning. And a lot of
[00:40:41] people running down the hill.
[00:40:44] That is a terrible utilization of your
[00:40:46] talent pool right there. Truly. And now
[00:40:50] they're all just falling down the hill
[00:40:50] in slow-mo. Okay, I think we've seen
[00:40:52] enough.
[00:40:57] >> Yeah, [screaming]
[00:41:02] I don't I don't see it. I'm not sure why
[00:41:04] [screaming] this ad is happening.
[00:41:10] >> Oh. Oh,
[00:41:11] >> yeah. You can pause it. Like, man,
[00:41:15] >> this that is not a good commercial. I
[00:41:16] mean, seriously, you have a high level
[00:41:18] of talent in that commercial and and I
[00:41:19] do not understand why you would use the
[00:41:20] talent that way. And I don't know who
[00:41:22] whose idea that was. Not not good. Okay.
[00:41:26] Let's move forward to Duncan. They've
[00:41:29] got some celebrities for for the Duncan
[00:41:30] commercial. Okay.
[00:41:33] >> Well, reactions, thoughts, love,
[00:41:36] >> Ben Affleck,
[00:41:38] Jason [clears throat]
[00:41:39] now. Cringe. I have cringe. Golden
[00:41:43] cringe.
[00:41:43] >> I don't think he directed Arca. Did I
[00:41:45] tell you I destroyed this, burnt it, and
[00:41:47] disposed of all the copies? Yes, I did.
[00:41:48] Good news. I lied to you. Can I get a
[00:41:51] copy?
[00:41:51] >> Oh, god. No one no one can see this.
[00:41:54] >> Uh, yeah. It's only going to air once.
[00:41:57] Still holds up.
[00:41:58] >> Oh, god. Matthew,
[00:41:59] >> what?
[00:42:00] >> Okay, that that's that's that's not the
[00:42:02] one you're going to see at the big game.
[00:42:04] So, we have to call it because of
[00:42:06] copyright law on Sunday. In instead, I
[00:42:09] assume you will see the actual unair
[00:42:10] that that's that's, you know, a smart
[00:42:12] preview at least. All right, Xfinity did
[00:42:16] a Jurassic Park crossover.
[00:42:22] Exfinity blowing out on the Jurassic
[00:42:24] Park rights purchase.
[00:42:26] >> What did I touch? Okay, so you've got
[00:42:28] the original stars. Okay, fine. You got
[00:42:30] Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neil in the car.
[00:42:34] They Oh, they deaged them for the
[00:42:35] commercial as well. Yeah, I was going to
[00:42:36] say Jeff Goldblum. You never know cuz
[00:42:38] honestly Jeff Goldblum has been the same
[00:42:40] age since he was 12. But okay,
[00:42:43] >> we're stopped. Fenc is availing all over
[00:42:45] the park.
[00:42:45] >> Samuel Jackson. Okay,
[00:42:49] >> John,
[00:42:53] >> I can't get Jurassic Park back online
[00:42:55] without
[00:42:56] >> Whoa, this place is awesome. By the way,
[00:42:59] you should have plugged this in.
[00:43:03] >> Oh, so Ah, okay.
[00:43:06] >> I think we're back.
[00:43:08] >> Okay, that's clever.
[00:43:09] >> That could have been bad.
[00:43:12] All right.
[00:43:12] >> So, we're good.
[00:43:13] >> I like
[00:43:13] >> This is going to be a lovely Okay, you
[00:43:14] can pause it. That was good. Okay, fine.
[00:43:18] >> I like that. That's good. That That That
[00:43:20] is a That is a good use of Xfinity. That
[00:43:22] That That is the best of these
[00:43:23] commercials that I have seen. Well, they
[00:43:25] got all the original cast including the
[00:43:27] corpse of David Atenboroough,
[00:43:29] right? David Atenburgh died in like
[00:43:30] 2014. So, they they got the original
[00:43:33] cast including uh the rights, I assume,
[00:43:35] for uh sorry, Richard Atenburgh.
[00:43:38] So, that's a So, that Okay. I I like
[00:43:41] this is this is a clever use of of movie
[00:43:42] placement.
[00:43:44] That is the favorite so far for sure.
[00:43:46] Okay, Elf Cosmetics.
[00:43:49] >> ELF presenter.
[00:43:51] >> Get ready for the world's [music]
[00:43:53] biggest regatone show.
[00:43:54] >> What's her name? Megan.
[00:43:55] >> I don't speak Spanish.
[00:43:56] >> Melissa McCarthy. Okay. [screaming]
[00:44:00] >> Melissa McCarthy [music]
[00:44:01] is Melissa McCarthy.
[00:44:04] >> I know this is Savy's jam right here.
[00:44:05] [music] Lisa,
[00:44:08] >> say
[00:44:10] >> I can hear you laughing from the other
[00:44:11] room, Sammy. Don't pretend.
[00:44:13] >> What day is it,
[00:44:14] >> Melissa? The big show is tonight.
[00:44:16] [gasps]
[00:44:17] >> How is your espanol?
[00:44:27] >> Okay, even I know no Spanish. No, that's
[00:44:28] funny.
[00:44:29] >> You need [music] juicy lips so you can
[00:44:33] those Rs. That doesn't even make sense.
[00:44:35] >> We have a lot of work.
[00:44:36] >> That's it. Yeah, I'm not I'm not into
[00:44:37] it. Also, you go terror.
[00:44:40] >> Okay, we can stop it now because now you
[00:44:42] [music] have a dude wearing the makeup
[00:44:43] in the background.
[00:44:45] >> Oh, you're going to force me to watch
[00:44:46] this.
[00:44:49] >> By the way, you don't pronounce the
[00:44:50] [music] R with your lips.
[00:44:55] >> Yeah. Not not Nope. That's gonna be a no
[00:44:57] from me, dog.
[00:45:00] Again, E.L.F. is as a cosmetics company
[00:45:02] very smart in the way that they market
[00:45:03] because basically they're very very
[00:45:05] lowcost cosmetics and so marketing down
[00:45:08] scale like that is is pretty smart
[00:45:11] like it's it looks like a cheap TV
[00:45:13] commercial.
[00:45:15] Okay, Savy's not going to let me get
[00:45:17] away without the without going to the
[00:45:19] end here. Okay,
[00:45:22] >> you're better than this mego
[00:45:27] fuego.
[00:45:29] >> Wow. So that's her with the makeup, but
[00:45:30] she looks significantly worse than she
[00:45:31] did before. [music]
[00:45:33] And then she's dancing.
[00:45:37] >> Gracias
[00:45:42] Melissa.
[00:45:46] >> Yeah, exactly. That's like the proper
[00:45:48] amount of racism.
[00:45:51] >> I mean, Savvy, you have to tell me if
[00:45:53] you're offended. Um, okay. So, yeah.
[00:45:56] Okay. So, Savvy loved that one. All
[00:45:58] right. All right, I'll let her be the
[00:45:59] judge. Okay, I honestly so I will admit
[00:46:01] that I've seen this commercial already
[00:46:02] and I think this is actually the best of
[00:46:04] the commercials. This one is very, very
[00:46:05] good.
[00:46:05] >> Betting on the right guy with Fanatic
[00:46:08] Sportsbook, [music]
[00:46:08] explained by Kendall Jenner.
[00:46:13] >> Haven't you heard? The internet says I'm
[00:46:16] cursed. Any basketball [music] player
[00:46:18] who dates me kind of hits a
[00:46:22] >> rough
[00:46:24] shake. While the world's been talking
[00:46:26] about it, I've been betting on it. How
[00:46:28] else do you think I can afford all this?
[00:46:30] >> Okay, it's a clever modeling.
[00:46:34] >> And then she goes through everybody who
[00:46:35] she's dated basically. I kind of feel
[00:46:37] bad for the dudes she dated. Honestly,
[00:46:39] she's just torching their careers and
[00:46:40] making money off of it, which is a
[00:46:42] pretty terrible move morally, but as a
[00:46:44] commercial, it's a very funny conceit
[00:46:45] that she's dating people just to destroy
[00:46:47] their careers and then bet on their
[00:46:49] destroyed careers.
[00:46:52] This pool basketball boyfriend one
[00:46:55] missed the playoffs. I guess nobody was
[00:46:58] getting a ring in this house.
[00:47:00] Do you like this bad boy? Boyfriend two
[00:47:03] flopped right out of the league. Not
[00:47:05] that I ever tried.
[00:47:13] >> OKAY.
[00:47:14] >> THIS CUTE J. THANKS THREE.
[00:47:17] >> But today it's time to bet on something
[00:47:19] new. Football players, I'm making my bet
[00:47:22] on who's going to win. And you can bet
[00:47:24] with me or against me on Fanatic
[00:47:27] Sportsbook.
[00:47:27] >> Next stop, San Francisco. Football
[00:47:31] Boyfriend. Yes.
[00:47:35] >> Okay. Her as like evil super villain is
[00:47:37] pretty funny.
[00:47:38] >> Only on Fanatic.
[00:47:39] >> I'll admit that's funny. I I do enjoy
[00:47:41] the fact that that that commercial is
[00:47:43] basically about how to rig betting.
[00:47:46] It's basically about [laughter] like
[00:47:48] insider betting. But um but yeah, at
[00:47:51] least it's self- aacing and clever. So I
[00:47:53] I kind of enjoyed the subversiveness of
[00:47:54] that commercial.
[00:47:55] >> Okay, the worst of these commercials, by
[00:47:57] the way, is the Pringles commercial. It
[00:47:58] is a terrible commercial. This is a
[00:48:00] truly bad commercial.
[00:48:03] >> I'm so tired of boys. I need a man.
[00:48:06] >> Build what? Sabrina Carpenter.
[00:48:11] So she builds a person made of Pringles.
[00:48:13] >> Pringle Leo.
[00:48:19] It's breaking apart.
[00:48:31] >> Crying while cannibalizing her Pringle
[00:48:33] boyfriend. Okay, I don't even understand
[00:48:36] what that was supposed to be. The They
[00:48:39] went into the ad department and they
[00:48:40] said, "We have Sabrina Carpenter for a
[00:48:41] thing." And they're like, "How do we do
[00:48:43] something with this?" is and that's what
[00:48:44] they came up with. Well, they can't all
[00:48:46] be winners. Okay, I've been told that I
[00:48:48] must do Novartis. Okay, here we go.
[00:48:55] [music]
[00:48:58] Have you ever
[00:49:02] >> Okay, so this is a bunch of NFL tight
[00:49:03] ends. [music and singing]
[00:49:05] >> Seen tight ends
[00:49:07] this relaxed?
[00:49:09] >> I am so relaxed. [music]
[00:49:12] They're carefree,
[00:49:16] >> calm,
[00:49:18] serene. You know what these tight ends
[00:49:21] are so relaxed about? Prostate cancer
[00:49:23] screenings. They've learned there's
[00:49:25] [music] a simple finger-free blood test.
[00:49:28] Roughly one in eight men would be
[00:49:30] diagnosed with prostate cancer, and I
[00:49:31] was one of them. I'm here today [music]
[00:49:33] because I caught it early. Grant, what'
[00:49:36] I teach you?
[00:49:37] >> Relax your tight end.
[00:49:39] >> Oh. Prostate cancer screening starts
[00:49:41] with a simple blood test.
[00:49:43] >> Find out if a PSA blood test is right
[00:49:45] for you at relax. It's a blood test.com.
[00:49:48] >> Okay. So, actually that
[00:49:49] >> let's do this. [music]
[00:49:50] >> I was I was I was very much pro that
[00:49:52] commercial until the shots of the
[00:49:54] relaxing butts game. I I think the best
[00:49:56] one and the most effective one is the
[00:49:57] Exfinity commercial.
[00:49:59] >> Uh I I think that the Fanatic Sportsbook
[00:50:02] one with with Kendall is clever, so I
[00:50:04] like that one. I think the worst one is
[00:50:05] the the Pringles one. I think it's a bad
[00:50:06] commercial. All right, folks. The show
[00:50:08] continues for our members right now.
[00:50:09] We'll get to the latest in Iran.
[00:50:11] Negotiations ongoing, but are they going

[00:50:35] >> No, not even close. Three. Whatever. You
[00:50:39] know what? Two, three, four.
[00:50:48] >> I cannot believe we're back here again.
[00:50:49] Ben,
[00:50:50] >> if the Ben Shapiro shows mom and Ben
[00:50:52] After Dark is a cool mom,
[00:50:56] >> Jay, [laughter]
[00:50:58] >> you know, like irresponsible
