[00:00:29] welcome to daily wire backstages live
[00:00:31] coverage of Donald Trump's address to
[00:00:33] Congress some people will call it a
[00:00:34] state of the union some people will get
[00:00:36] on to us if we do call it a state of the
[00:00:37] union it's very controversial it will
[00:00:39] look exactly like a state of the union
[00:00:41] and I think that's really what matters
[00:00:42] I'm joined here in Nashville by Andrew
[00:00:44] claven and Michael nolles of course I'm
[00:00:46] your host Jeremy boring and joining us
[00:00:48] remotely from the capital itself tonight
[00:00:50] we have Ben Shapiro Matt Walsh there's
[00:00:52] an empty chair which we were saving for
[00:00:54] Elijah but it has now been filled and
[00:00:56] the man filling it is the former acting
[00:00:58] director of ice and the current border
[00:01:00] are in the second Trump Administration
[00:01:01] Tom Holman thank you for being with
[00:01:04] us thanks for having me if you are not a

[00:01:09] you're missing add free uncensored shows

[00:01:27] obviously a really big night the sort of
[00:01:31] triumphal return of Donald Trump to the
[00:01:34] capital as now the 47th president what
[00:01:36] can we expect tonight
[00:01:38] Ben well I mean I think that you're
[00:01:40] going to expect a very enthusiastic
[00:01:41] Republican reception we had heard from
[00:01:43] the speaker that we are expecting a
[00:01:45] bunch of Democrats to show up with empty
[00:01:47] egg cartons and they're going to wave
[00:01:48] them at the president about egg prices
[00:01:50] noise makers and they're they're going
[00:01:52] to try and disrupt as many things as
[00:01:54] possible but they've been unable to
[00:01:56] disrupt the agenda thus far and so I
[00:01:58] think they're going to have a rough time
[00:01:59] of it tonight but you know we' be remiss
[00:02:01] we don't get to sit with the borders are
[00:02:02] very often so borders are Tom what are
[00:02:05] you expecting tonight I expect president
[00:02:07] Trump to educate American people on the
[00:02:10] facts of the border that what he did in
[00:02:11] three weeks Biden Administration failed
[00:02:13] to do in four years we had the lowest
[00:02:15] border numbers in the history of United
[00:02:17] States border and that's not an
[00:02:18] exaggeration last month we had the
[00:02:20] fewest number of Encounters in the
[00:02:22] history of this nation and president
[00:02:25] Trump did that in four weeks so think
[00:02:27] what he's going to do in the next 47
[00:02:29] months so uh we got the most secure
[00:02:31] border ever right now we got a little
[00:02:32] bit more work to do ice is record
[00:02:35] amounts of rest in the interior so in as
[00:02:38] we as a president secures a border
[00:02:39] here's where I hope people take away
[00:02:41] tonight when you have 97% less people
[00:02:43] coming borbo is now on the border 100%
[00:02:46] engaged 100% on duty not changing
[00:02:48] diapers not making baby formula not
[00:02:50] making Hospital runs means we seize more
[00:02:52] fentol L Americans die from file we
[00:02:55] arrest more traffickers so less women
[00:02:57] and children are sex traffic we got less
[00:02:59] no inspected the terrorist getting away
[00:03:00] in this country the Goda ways alone
[00:03:03] under Biden averag 1,800 Goda aways the
[00:03:05] day that we know of the other day it's
[00:03:08] 41 and we're going to get that down to
[00:03:10] zero so we're going to have total
[00:03:13] operational control of our Southern
[00:03:14] border be the first time history just
[00:03:16] just to State the obvious that so when
[00:03:18] the media tries to claim that well the
[00:03:21] the the deportation numbers aren't as
[00:03:23] high as what Trump promised the the
[00:03:25] point is that the border is being secure
[00:03:27] so we're not having the people come in
[00:03:28] right exactly they're counting the
[00:03:30] numbers of what was removed look a
[00:03:32] president Trump could remove 90% of
[00:03:35] people coming across the board his
[00:03:36] deportation number are still going to be
[00:03:38] lower than Biden if even if Biden
[00:03:40] deported 10% because they brought
[00:03:42] millions of people in understand in one
[00:03:44] month total of 8,000 8,000 in one month
[00:03:49] and and under Joe Biden we're doing this
[00:03:52] 11,000 a day right I it's a big game
[00:03:56] changer and I say every day and I'll say
[00:04:00] tonight president Trump proves every day
[00:04:03] why he's the greatest president in my
[00:04:05] lifetime it doesn't seem possible uh
[00:04:08] that the administration could have made
[00:04:09] this accomplishment because I was under
[00:04:11] the impression that it was impossible to
[00:04:13] secure the Border unless we voted for
[00:04:15] Joe Biden's comprehensive immigration
[00:04:17] reform package so somewhere I just got
[00:04:20] bad
[00:04:21] [Music]
[00:04:22] information well look the president
[00:04:24] Trump did it before this Administration
[00:04:26] knew how to fix it yeah and they just
[00:04:28] didn't choose to fix it this isn't what
[00:04:31] Biden did was not mismanagement was not
[00:04:33] incompetence it's by Design they knew
[00:04:35] exactly what they're doing he ran an
[00:04:37] open borders he said he's going to shut
[00:04:38] down ice detention he said he's going to
[00:04:40] put a moratorium on on deportations he
[00:04:43] say he's want to give free health care
[00:04:44] to illegal aliens the promises he made
[00:04:47] we knew the whole country the whole
[00:04:48] world's going to come to the greatest
[00:04:50] nation on earth when you're offering all
[00:04:51] these all these giveaways with no
[00:04:52] consequences they knew how to fix it
[00:04:54] they refused to do it again what they
[00:04:57] failed to do in four years Donald Trump
[00:04:59] did in three weeks you know Mr H Tom
[00:05:02] hman so Mr hman Ben just mentioned that
[00:05:06] the Democrat lawmakers are planning to
[00:05:08] interrupt the speech with all sorts of
[00:05:10] noise makers and make a general nuisance
[00:05:12] of themselves I know you're busy sir but
[00:05:14] would it be possible for you to deport
[00:05:16] them as well
[00:05:19] please don't temp
[00:05:21] me don't temp me because you know I've
[00:05:24] been fighting with the Democrat side of
[00:05:26] the house for a long time but especially
[00:05:28] the last couple of days that there's
[00:05:30] going to be members of Congress sitting
[00:05:31] in the audience tonight who are
[00:05:33] educating criminal illegal aliens how do
[00:05:35] we evade law enforcement they say what
[00:05:37] we're educating them is their
[00:05:39] constitutional rights okay CLA what you
[00:05:41] want we all know what you're doing
[00:05:42] you're you're you're educating those how
[00:05:44] do we invade law enforcement don't open
[00:05:46] your doors don't answer question you
[00:05:48] know hide and these are Congress
[00:05:52] people that begged that these people had
[00:05:54] a right to claim Asylum they got a right
[00:05:56] to see a judge they got a right to do
[00:05:58] process and
[00:06:00] that happened they had that due process
[00:06:02] but 90% of been order removed so if we
[00:06:04] don't execute the final decision of the
[00:06:06] courts there is no due process means
[00:06:08] nothing you can't demand due process
[00:06:10] ignore the final decision of the cour if
[00:06:12] we do that the must would just shut down
[00:06:14] immigration courts take the board
[00:06:15] through off the Border there's no
[00:06:16] consequences you can't ask to to
[00:06:19] implement a system of laws and ignore
[00:06:21] the final result and that's why we're
[00:06:23] going to have a massive deportation
[00:06:25] operations because millions of people
[00:06:26] cross this border 90% get order removal
[00:06:29] we Gathering movement so any member of
[00:06:31] Congress who wants to educate and we
[00:06:33] made it clear Trump Administration going
[00:06:34] to concentrate in in this the worst of
[00:06:36] the worst worst Public Safety threats
[00:06:38] right I can't believe any member of
[00:06:40] Congress wants to educate an illegal
[00:06:42] Anning who's been convicted of a serious
[00:06:45] offense he's got order removal at the
[00:06:47] due process that great taxpayer expense
[00:06:50] and wants to educate him how to vade
[00:06:51] arrest to me they already resigned their
[00:06:54] position as member of Congress could
[00:06:56] they're doing the complete opposite with
[00:06:57] American taxpayers expect them can I ask
[00:06:59] about what about the the Democrat Mayors
[00:07:01] and governors who have promised claimed
[00:07:04] in some cases claimed that they're going
[00:07:05] to Harbor illegal aliens in their own
[00:07:06] homes uh have you found that they're
[00:07:09] actually doing this that that what are
[00:07:10] they doing to interfere with your
[00:07:13] operations or are they kind of getting
[00:07:14] in line what's going on there they
[00:07:16] haven't crossed the line yet but if they
[00:07:18] cross the line they're going to be
[00:07:20] prosecuted you can stand aside and watch
[00:07:22] Ice do your job isce is making their
[00:07:26] Community safer and I find it hard to
[00:07:28] believe every day there's any mayor or
[00:07:30] Governor or city council person that
[00:07:33] doesn't want Public Safety threats
[00:07:34] removed from the public it's in have
[00:07:36] more responsibility Community safety if
[00:07:38] you don't want to help us get the hell
[00:07:39] out of the way but I've been I've warned
[00:07:43] numerous uh Mayors and governors don't
[00:07:46] cross that line if you imped us that's a
[00:07:48] felony and Pam Bond we'll ask Pam Bonnie
[00:07:51] to prosecute if you Harbor or conceal an
[00:07:54] illegal alien knowingly Harbor and
[00:07:56] conceal IL alien from Ice that's a
[00:07:58] felony in my career I've arrest US
[00:08:01] citizens for harboring concealing
[00:08:02] illegal alien a workplace or a home if I
[00:08:05] can prosecute a US citizen who doing it
[00:08:07] why can't we prostitute a pol prosecute
[00:08:10] a politician who does the same thing so
[00:08:13] you know I think we got a strong Ag and
[00:08:14] pan Bond and if they cross that line we
[00:08:16] should prosecute and make an example out
[00:08:18] of
[00:08:19] them you know to your point earlier sir
[00:08:21] the it's perfectly reasonable perfectly
[00:08:25] understandable why someone living south
[00:08:27] of our border in particular would want
[00:08:29] to get to the greatest country in the
[00:08:31] history of the world that's it's a
[00:08:33] no-brainer when you add further
[00:08:35] incentives through all of our government
[00:08:36] programs all the handouts the open
[00:08:38] invitations that Joe Biden and his
[00:08:40] administration were putting out people
[00:08:42] to people to come to the country you
[00:08:43] can't be
[00:08:44] surprised when they do uh at the same
[00:08:48] time the the idea that American
[00:08:51] politicians would engage in harboring
[00:08:53] those people it seems to me we it's very
[00:08:55] easy to throw around words like treason
[00:08:58] uh in political discussion but when
[00:08:59] you're actually using your position as
[00:09:02] an elected representative of the
[00:09:04] American people to help criminal aliens
[00:09:08] in the country at the expense of your
[00:09:10] own constituents I mean how is that not
[00:09:12] a treasonous offense when Joe Biden
[00:09:14] shuts down the remaining Mexico program
[00:09:15] and says no instead we're going to bring
[00:09:17] millions of people into the country who
[00:09:20] don't need to be here we've we already
[00:09:22] have a solution the first Trump
[00:09:23] Administration implemented the solution
[00:09:25] we're going to remove the the solution
[00:09:27] how is that not treasonous
[00:09:30] look I think a lot what they did is
[00:09:31] treason just take for example the
[00:09:34] getaways right they overwhelmed the
[00:09:36] borbit where many nights 70% 70 70% of
[00:09:41] Agents were pulled off the line to make
[00:09:43] sandwiches change diapers make baby form
[00:09:45] to make Hospital runs dealing with this
[00:09:47] humanitarian crisis they they created on
[00:09:49] purpose yeah and theorbit overwhelmed so
[00:09:52] we got 30% AB borbit left on the line
[00:09:54] then the criminal cartels to send a
[00:09:56] group of 100 family units in one area
[00:09:58] knowing that 30% are going to seize that
[00:10:00] opportunity to deal that humanitarian
[00:10:01] crisis there which the cartels create
[00:10:04] gaps so we got 2.2 million known
[00:10:06] guideways you got to ask yourself why
[00:10:09] did 2 million plus people pay more to
[00:10:11] get away because you pay the cartels one
[00:10:14] amount of money to get to the border the
[00:10:16] cartel's job ends when you get to the
[00:10:19] Border because you just turn yourself
[00:10:20] into green uniform you get released
[00:10:22] within 24 hours you get a free airline
[00:10:24] ticket to the city of your choice you
[00:10:25] get put in a free hotel room you get
[00:10:27] three meals a day in Free Medical Care
[00:10:29] after about 3 months you get work
[00:10:31] authorization the very reason they came
[00:10:32] here so why do 2 million people pay more
[00:10:35] not to take advantage of that giveaway
[00:10:36] program why did they pay more to get
[00:10:38] away because they didn't want to be
[00:10:40] vetted they didn't want to be
[00:10:41] fingerprinted these are going to be
[00:10:42] people are trafficking women and
[00:10:44] children they're going to be ones caring
[00:10:45] the faton and there's going to be ones
[00:10:47] coming from a a a country sponsoring
[00:10:50] Terror now under Trump in four years we
[00:10:53] wrest a total of 14 people on terrorist
[00:10:55] watch list 14 in four years this Biden
[00:10:58] administration had 14 in a day I mean
[00:11:01] they were up up over 400 so the question
[00:11:04] is borbor is rested people from 181
[00:11:06] different countries many these countries
[00:11:07] are sponsored of Terror they've arrested
[00:11:09] over 400 how many that 2.2 million came
[00:11:12] from countes sponsored Terror if you
[00:11:14] think it's zero you're a so this
[00:11:16] is the biggest National Security
[00:11:18] vulnerability I've seen in my lifetime
[00:11:20] even uh FBI director Ray who I who I
[00:11:23] don't like even he agreed this is the
[00:11:25] biggest National Security vulnerability
[00:11:27] he's seen a lot of red flags well they
[00:11:29] did when they when they purposely opened
[00:11:32] this border up is create the biggest
[00:11:34] National Security vulnerability this
[00:11:37] nation's ever seen and we know there's
[00:11:39] there's there's people here that want to
[00:11:41] do us harm we know uh National Security
[00:11:44] threats enter this country we're
[00:11:46] monitoring some some we don't know where
[00:11:48] there are so uh when you use the word
[00:11:51] treasonist I agree with you because they
[00:11:53] on purpose created this open border
[00:11:55] which resulted in a significant National
[00:11:58] Security concern National Security
[00:12:00] vulnerability we all know something's
[00:12:02] coming the intelligence Community
[00:12:03] believes something's going to be coming
[00:12:05] and thank God we got president Trump in
[00:12:07] the overall office to deal with it when
[00:12:08] it happens yeah and when you talk about
[00:12:10] this it's it's very clear that the Biden
[00:12:12] Administration it was an act of will for
[00:12:14] them to leave the Border this way I was
[00:12:15] talking to you before we were on air and
[00:12:17] I was actually down at the Border in
[00:12:18] Arizona there's a Native American
[00:12:20] reservation right along the border
[00:12:21] there's no fencing there because the
[00:12:23] Native American reservation doesn't want
[00:12:24] there to be fencing there and so the
[00:12:26] basically it's wide open and the the
[00:12:27] Biden Administration I was told border
[00:12:29] patrol had assigned them to process
[00:12:32] people as a number one priority that the
[00:12:34] the drug cartels would essentially drive
[00:12:35] up with the truck filled with people
[00:12:37] they would unload them at the border
[00:12:38] there was actually a button they could
[00:12:39] hit at the border that would call border
[00:12:40] patrol to them border patrol would then
[00:12:42] have to take them for processing and
[00:12:43] that would leave the rest of the Border
[00:12:44] completely wide open for for the
[00:12:47] predations of the drug cels I think one
[00:12:49] part of the story that that hasn't been
[00:12:50] told here is just how much the B
[00:12:52] Administration enriched the drug cartels
[00:12:54] the drug cartels made literally billions
[00:12:55] of dollars off of human and and
[00:12:58] trafficking and drug smuggling during
[00:12:59] the course of the Biden Administration
[00:13:00] no one celebrated that election more
[00:13:02] than the crimin cartels they knew
[00:13:03] they're back in business crimin the
[00:13:05] reason there's so much violence in
[00:13:07] Mexico right now because the cartels are
[00:13:08] making more money they've ever made in
[00:13:10] sex trafficking women and children alien
[00:13:13] smuggling and and smuggling of Narcotics
[00:13:16] now there's a lot of discontent Mexico
[00:13:19] because president Trump has taken
[00:13:20] billions of dollars out of their pockets
[00:13:21] when he secures that border so I think
[00:13:23] you going see more violence on the
[00:13:24] boorder I don't think they're going to
[00:13:25] go away quietly I think president Trump
[00:13:27] did the right thing doesn't name them
[00:13:29] terrorist organizations because these
[00:13:31] cartels have killed more Americans than
[00:13:33] every terrorist organization in the
[00:13:34] world
[00:13:35] combined but the what they did to the
[00:13:37] Border was on purpose I agreed you 100%
[00:13:39] here's why I know it's on purpose we
[00:13:42] never talk about this let me just
[00:13:43] mention this when when Barack Obama was
[00:13:46] President Joe Biden was vice president
[00:13:48] secretary mayorcas was a deputy
[00:13:50] secretary we had a surge of family
[00:13:53] groups coming across the border how do
[00:13:54] we stop it we built family residential
[00:13:57] centers we held them along enough to see
[00:13:59] judge 91% lost her case we put in the
[00:14:02] airplane send them home home and the
[00:14:03] Border numbers dumped so myor knows how
[00:14:06] we fixed it and Biden knows how we fix
[00:14:08] it what they do when he becomes
[00:14:10] president my orcus become Secretary they
[00:14:12] don't detain him they don't make him see
[00:14:15] a judge they don't Deport him they did
[00:14:17] exactly the opposite of what proved
[00:14:20] worked when he was vice president
[00:14:22] secretary for deputy secretary so this
[00:14:24] was an accent they did ex the exact
[00:14:26] opposite of what what they knew we
[00:14:29] succeeded with when President Obama was
[00:14:33] was in office so this wasn't again this
[00:14:35] is this was by Design they knew exactly
[00:14:37] what they were doing and the reason they
[00:14:39] didn't detain them is because when an
[00:14:41] alien's in detention they get a hearing
[00:14:44] within 40 days at top which means in 40
[00:14:47] days that 91% be order removed and they
[00:14:49] go home that's not what they wanted so
[00:14:51] they released them to NGO put in a hotel
[00:14:54] room cuz once you're out of ice cussy
[00:14:56] it's called the 901 docket 901 docket
[00:14:58] takes anywhere from 3 years to 9 years
[00:15:00] depending on what city you're in wow and
[00:15:02] they knew in that 3 to n years they'll
[00:15:04] get one or two years citizen kids they
[00:15:07] they they'll get equities here and
[00:15:09] hopefully a democrat congress and
[00:15:10] Democratic president that will reward
[00:15:12] him an amesty this is why they didn't
[00:15:14] detain him they don't want them removed
[00:15:16] so they figure they put them on a non-
[00:15:18] custody docket with Immigration Court
[00:15:20] their cases are so far down the road
[00:15:23] that there will be a change in the
[00:15:24] administration and they can award him in
[00:15:26] Amy that's exactly what their plan and
[00:15:28] thank God we chain set November got
[00:15:30] president Mr homman you you mentioned
[00:15:32] just now that President Trump redefined
[00:15:35] these organizations as foreign terrorist
[00:15:38] organizations and uh a lot of people
[00:15:40] hear that and they think well that's
[00:15:41] just a kind of a new new way of
[00:15:44] describing them but obviously that is a
[00:15:46] an official classification that then
[00:15:48] frees up certain American resources to
[00:15:50] deal with them so in case there are any
[00:15:52] face tude gangsters watching the stream
[00:15:54] tonight practically speaking what does
[00:15:56] it mean that the cartels can anticipate
[00:15:59] now that they're designated this
[00:16:01] way if you're involved in cartels anyway
[00:16:04] if you're transporting for them if
[00:16:06] you're moving money for if if if if
[00:16:08] you're helping these cartels in any way
[00:16:10] then you are part of a terorist
[00:16:12] organization and we'll will charge you
[00:16:14] with terrorist related crimes which has
[00:16:15] significant penalties being designated
[00:16:18] terrorist brings the whole of US
[00:16:20] Government on I'm incling the military
[00:16:22] we're not just going to attack them on
[00:16:23] our Southern border we're going to
[00:16:24] attack them across the globe Kisco
[00:16:26] cartels in 43 countries around the globe
[00:16:29] they not only they moving drugs across
[00:16:31] the border that's where it used to be
[00:16:33] now they have a presence in every major
[00:16:34] city in this country so on top of
[00:16:36] smuggling of Narcotics in this country
[00:16:38] they're taking over the interior
[00:16:39] distribution of Narcotics within our
[00:16:40] largest cities we're going to attack
[00:16:42] them on the border we're going to attack
[00:16:44] them in the interior United States we're
[00:16:45] going to tack them in every country
[00:16:46] there around the world with the
[00:16:48] assistance of other countries this
[00:16:50] designation is put them on notice we're
[00:16:52] going to use the whole might of the
[00:16:54] United States government to take them
[00:16:56] out we're going to and first thing we do
[00:16:58] is take the money if they don't have
[00:16:59] money they have no power they can't buy
[00:17:01] the Mexican military they can't buy
[00:17:03] Mexican legislation they can't buy
[00:17:05] Mexican judges so we're going to shut
[00:17:07] them down one piece at a time what
[00:17:09] president Trump did by designating the
[00:17:11] terrorist organization take the first
[00:17:13] step of Whiting these cartels off the
[00:17:15] face of the Earth you know who's going
[00:17:16] to be more grateful than anybody the
[00:17:18] country of Mexico because there's a I've
[00:17:21] said this many times there's a lot of
[00:17:22] corruption in Mexico whether it's a
[00:17:23] military law enforcement or government
[00:17:26] officials many of them didn't choose to
[00:17:29] be corrupt but cartels will tell you
[00:17:31] you're going to do this or we're going
[00:17:32] to kill you in your family to take the
[00:17:34] cartels out of Mexico and de and
[00:17:37] demolish him and incinerate him and take
[00:17:40] him off the face of the Earth we're
[00:17:41] going to free Mexico we're going to free
[00:17:42] Mexico so Mexico want to be under the
[00:17:44] control the cartels they're can operate
[00:17:46] in a free Society so I think no one's be
[00:17:49] more grateful than Mexico orders are Tom
[00:17:52] homman thank you for making time with us
[00:17:54] it's a huge night uh we're very grateful
[00:17:55] for the work you're doing very grateful
[00:17:56] for the work that President Trump is
[00:17:58] doing uh and just looking forward to
[00:18:01] actually having some sanity and and Law
[00:18:03] and Order on the southern border thank
[00:18:05] you I I appreciate the thanks well let's
[00:18:07] give the thanks to the men and women
[00:18:09] wearing the green uniform are down there
[00:18:10] 24/7 while I'm sitting at this event
[00:18:13] tonight there's some Bor relations
[00:18:14] standing on a dirt Trail someplace it's
[00:18:16] going to take somebody on whether it's
[00:18:18] just an illegal anner or a heavy armed
[00:18:20] drug Smuggler these are the men and
[00:18:21] women who sit in that Bard 24/7 while
[00:18:24] we're laying in bed sleeping saf at
[00:18:25] night thank the ice agents who out there
[00:18:28] you know with the Devar vest and a gun
[00:18:29] under hip going to Sanctuary cities
[00:18:31] arresting bad people because they
[00:18:32] couldn't arrest them in the jail and we
[00:18:34] got leakers telling people where these
[00:18:36] operations are let's pray for the men
[00:18:38] women ice that they go home and save
[00:18:40] their families every night there's the
[00:18:41] real heroes I'm I'm grateful to be in I
[00:18:43] got a great president but I want to
[00:18:45] thank the men and women on the front
[00:18:47] line who are doing the job we Steve
[00:18:49] Miller is the architect brilliant
[00:18:51] probably one of the smartest men ever
[00:18:52] met we we strategize we come up with
[00:18:55] plans we come up with the methods of
[00:18:57] what we want done but the men and women
[00:18:59] carrying a badging gun God bless them
[00:19:01] let's keep them safe because they're
[00:19:02] they're doing God's work on the front
[00:19:04] line amen
[00:19:06] amen Ben it's hard to follow that with
[00:19:09] an ad read but if anyone can do
[00:19:13] it folks I need to tell you about a
[00:19:16] great way you can improve your quality
[00:19:18] of life it's something I've been doing
[00:19:19] for years that I cannot recommend enough
[00:19:21] is it transcendental meditation
[00:19:25] classes nope me meditating that sounds
[00:19:28] unbelievably boring so it's not going to
[00:19:30] happen is it raiki energy
[00:19:34] healing I mean that looks relaxing but
[00:19:37] nope I'm not going to be doing that I
[00:19:39] know about you but that kind of stuff is
[00:19:40] not for me so what do I do to improve my
[00:19:43] health and energy if wacky self-care
[00:19:44] schemes are out well it isn't
[00:19:46] complicated it's B and brand sheets baby
[00:19:48] with their 100% organic cotton sheets I

[00:19:52] I wake up refresh to tackle the day you
[00:19:54] ever wonder why you're feeling groggy
[00:19:56] and frankly resentful toward the world
[00:19:57] every second you're forced to be awake
[00:19:59] it's cuz your Cheapo store brand sheets
[00:20:01] are holding you back getting sleep is
[00:20:03] one of the most important things you can
[00:20:04] and must do to be a functioning happy
[00:20:07] human being I can even rest when I'm on
[00:20:08] the road with their wonderful waffle

[00:20:11] even joking it's in my suitcase it's
[00:20:13] truly the easiest thing you can do to
[00:20:15] feel energized and refreshed feel the
[00:20:16] difference for yourself gang try bow and

[00:20:43] Holman with us and also a treat that Ben
[00:20:45] and Matt uh get to attend this event and
[00:20:48] to make it even better is that you had
[00:20:51] to go to the Joe Biden I know this I'm
[00:20:53] feeling a little jipped I mean I'm very
[00:20:55] grateful to uh my friend Congressman
[00:20:57] Andy ogles for having me last year it
[00:20:59] was very cool to be at the State of the
[00:21:01] Union uh but I had to listen to Joe
[00:21:04] Biden incoherently scream for like 45
[00:21:06] minutes and you guys get to go to the
[00:21:08] UFC fight of State of the Union
[00:21:10] addresses it's going to be super
[00:21:13] fun oh it is going to be great I first
[00:21:15] of all I think there's a a good shot
[00:21:16] that President Trump is going to
[00:21:17] announce this rare Earth's mineral deal
[00:21:19] with Ukraine so that'll be a big win for
[00:21:21] him and I think it'll Rectify a lot of
[00:21:23] the breach that happened last Friday in
[00:21:24] that extraordinarily combative press
[00:21:26] conference between zilinsky president
[00:21:28] Trump and vice president JD Vance he's
[00:21:31] obviously going to talk about his
[00:21:32] accomplishments on immigration that that
[00:21:33] borar Homan just mentioned a moment ago
[00:21:36] and he he's going to be talking about
[00:21:38] the Investments that were just made by a
[00:21:39] number of companies in America the tsmc
[00:21:42] which is of course the gigantic
[00:21:43] semiconductor maker in Taiwan has
[00:21:45] announced they're going to spend hundred
[00:21:46] billion dollars additionally in the
[00:21:48] United States the Honda Civic is now
[00:21:49] going to be produced entirely in Indiana
[00:21:52] as opposed to in Mexico I'm sure he's
[00:21:53] going to be talking a lot about that
[00:21:54] there's been a lot of winning he's going
[00:21:55] to talk about Dei I'm sure he'll talk
[00:21:57] about Matt's big issue the issue that
[00:21:59] that if one person really helped push
[00:22:00] over the line it was Matt Walsh the the
[00:22:03] death of men in women's sports I'm sure
[00:22:05] he's going to mention that as well it's
[00:22:05] been I mean this has been as we
[00:22:08] discussed last time we were together the
[00:22:10] fastest moving Administration in modern
[00:22:12] American history I mean this
[00:22:13] Administration is moving like absolute
[00:22:15] lightning it's going to give Trump a lot
[00:22:16] to talk about and of course it's going
[00:22:18] to get spicy because I would be shocked
[00:22:19] if there's no Dramatics from the the
[00:22:21] fainting couch left out there some of
[00:22:24] them are not showing up uh and and
[00:22:25] frankly to me that seems like the best
[00:22:27] tactic for for some of them I think that
[00:22:29] the ones who are idiots are going to
[00:22:29] show up and make fools of themselves I
[00:22:31] you know it seems like not showing up
[00:22:33] though they actually get paid to show up
[00:22:34] that's what they're there for it seems
[00:22:36] like everything they do every strategy
[00:22:38] they come up with just sends them
[00:22:39] further and further into the Wilderness
[00:22:41] and I I grieve for them I miss them
[00:22:42] deeply but I think that if they just
[00:22:44] continue to protest cutting fraud and
[00:22:46] waste if they continue to protest
[00:22:48] securing the Border if they continue to
[00:22:50] protest putting not allowing men into
[00:22:52] women's sports we we could I could be
[00:22:55] gone before there's another Democrat
[00:22:57] Administration which maybe only 10
[00:22:59] minutes away but like still I think that
[00:23:01] this could be a long long term in Exile
[00:23:03] they seem to have learned absolutely
[00:23:05] nothing you I mean you mentioned some of
[00:23:07] the members not showing up tonight but
[00:23:09] even the Democrat Governors who say no
[00:23:12] by golly we're going to ignore federal
[00:23:13] law and we're going to force hulking
[00:23:15] dudes to crack women's skulls and they
[00:23:17] they elect David hog one of the least
[00:23:20] likable Democrats even among Democrats
[00:23:23] to be the vice chairman of the party it
[00:23:25] just seems like these guys cannot
[00:23:27] possibly win losing I I would like to
[00:23:29] ask a question of you guys you know when
[00:23:32] they when I'm listening to home and talk
[00:23:33] about the Border this lawlessness this
[00:23:36] incredible it was an invasion I mean I
[00:23:38] know that's like a big word but it was
[00:23:40] an invasion yeah Allowed by the
[00:23:42] president of the United States allowing
[00:23:43] us to be invaded and you hear all these
[00:23:46] theories they're bringing in voters that
[00:23:47] it's the great replacement and all this
[00:23:49] is do you think that that was the
[00:23:51] strategy was that it that they just
[00:23:53] thought that this would turn the Dem
[00:23:55] they told they told us this in 2004 Ben
[00:23:57] you correct me because you probably
[00:23:59] remember the paper better it was 04 or
[00:24:01] 06 there was a very prominent political
[00:24:03] science paper pushed by the left on this
[00:24:06] strategy to import people from all over
[00:24:08] the world and to have a permanent
[00:24:09] electoral majority and uh I don't think
[00:24:12] they were counting on Trump winning 46%
[00:24:13] of Hispanics or an increasing number of
[00:24:15] black male votes or anything like that
[00:24:17] but but they were I think they were
[00:24:18] pretty open about it I don't think they
[00:24:19] hid the bow because this it's happening
[00:24:22] in Europe there some of that I also
[00:24:23] think that there was I think there was
[00:24:25] something else happening too and that is
[00:24:26] that there there's been this myth in
[00:24:27] democratic itics really since 2012 that
[00:24:30] you could create a permanent minority
[00:24:32] majority Coalition and so it was almost
[00:24:35] a no loss proposition for them they
[00:24:36] figured that they were going to win more
[00:24:37] Hispanic votes in the United States by
[00:24:39] opening the vote and by by opening the
[00:24:40] border and they could simultaneously
[00:24:42] bring in new voters and at the same time
[00:24:44] they'd be pleasing all of their white
[00:24:45] liberal college graduates who believe
[00:24:46] that the United States Bears blood guilt
[00:24:48] for ever having won Texas in California
[00:24:50] from from Mexico and so it was sort of a
[00:24:52] win-win for them and what they didn't
[00:24:53] understand is that you are now creating
[00:24:54] a backlash that's going to make fre your
[00:24:55] undoing if there's one issue more than
[00:24:57] any other that really swung the election
[00:24:59] was the illegal immigration issue and
[00:25:01] number two was the trans issue and
[00:25:02] Democrats are unable to to kind of let
[00:25:04] go of both but I want to ask my buddy
[00:25:05] Matt here because he's been sitting here
[00:25:06] silently as is his wants during during
[00:25:08] our backstages he's he's always very
[00:25:10] excited to be here as we know and he's
[00:25:12] even more excited to travel Matt do you
[00:25:15] feel the electricity do you feel the
[00:25:16] energy are you just like ecstatic to be
[00:25:19] here I I appreciate the pity uh throwing
[00:25:22] it to me so I I have something to say uh
[00:25:24] and I I it's it's a great honor to be
[00:25:26] here we're a little too physically close
[00:25:28] right now this it's an uncomfortable
[00:25:29] physical proximity I'm not accustomed to
[00:25:32] uh I am wearing I'm wearing a tie for
[00:25:34] the first time in two years so that
[00:25:35] shows you how much I andon and a and
[00:25:38] there's a pocket square I'm going to
[00:25:39] note that right before by the way Matt
[00:25:41] actually did up his tie like a few
[00:25:43] minutes ago before we began Matt had not
[00:25:45] buttoned his top button still but yeah
[00:25:48] but you've got the tide tight enough
[00:25:49] that you can masquerade and His short
[00:25:51] was pretty loose and he kind of looked
[00:25:52] as though and he had the cup of whiskey
[00:25:54] in front of him and the glass whiskey
[00:25:56] and he looked as though you know he'
[00:25:57] worked long day at the at the accounting
[00:25:59] office and now he'd been finally
[00:26:01] released to his local pub where he could
[00:26:03] where he could you know just let this
[00:26:05] tie down a little bit and that was
[00:26:06] actually him dressed up so I'm just
[00:26:07] gonna point that out I don't even know
[00:26:09] if where can we drink alcohol where we
[00:26:11] are right now in these sacred Halls uh
[00:26:13] it's Congress my
[00:26:17] friend I will say it was pretty cool we
[00:26:19] we we met with speaker Johnson right
[00:26:20] before this and he actually took us to
[00:26:22] take a picture which I'm sure has now
[00:26:24] been posted online and and you can and
[00:26:26] he actually showed us a room that
[00:26:27] apparently has never been used in the
[00:26:29] Capitol building which was a a prayer
[00:26:32] room it was actually like a prayer room
[00:26:33] off to the side really cool is a
[00:26:35] beautiful stained glass window of George
[00:26:37] Washington kneeling in prayer you know
[00:26:39] the famous painting and emblems from all
[00:26:41] 50 states and George Washington was the
[00:26:43] last one to use it yes exactly well I
[00:26:45] mean at least use it for prayer I mean
[00:26:47] I'm hoping that none of the other
[00:26:48] Congress people discovered it because
[00:26:49] the one rule about Congress is you never
[00:26:51] want to blacklight anything here it's
[00:26:52] just hug mistake
[00:26:56] so so B basically this is going to be a
[00:26:59] giant pep rally for the right tonight
[00:27:01] and to make it all the more glorious
[00:27:03] we're going to be filling up with
[00:27:04] leftist tears left right and Center is
[00:27:06] there anything is there anything being
[00:27:08] bandied about that we think um would
[00:27:11] would be a surprise is there anything
[00:27:13] that is Donald Trump going to do
[00:27:14] anything here tonight that shocks his
[00:27:16] constituency or is this pure fanfiction
[00:27:19] playing out right in front of us tonight
[00:27:21] well I think the the big floating idea
[00:27:24] is that you could get an announcement of
[00:27:26] the Ukraine deal which might surprise
[00:27:28] some people because president Trump
[00:27:30] picked that fellow up and flung him out
[00:27:32] the window the other day during the
[00:27:33] robal office meeting but again you know
[00:27:35] these kinds of deals are bigger than
[00:27:37] just one shouting match in the Oval
[00:27:38] Office so you could see that that would
[00:27:40] be somewhat surprising obviously
[00:27:42] president Trump last night implemented
[00:27:43] these tariffs on Mexico and Canada uh
[00:27:45] which surprised some people because I
[00:27:47] some people believed that the tariffs
[00:27:49] were merely a negotiating ploy to try to
[00:27:51] get concessions on fenel or border
[00:27:54] enforcement or whatever however I think
[00:27:56] Trump campaigned on believing in tariffs
[00:27:59] in terms of economic theory like in in
[00:28:01] tariffs for the good of the American
[00:28:03] economy well not just tariffs themselves
[00:28:05] though balance tariffs in other words
[00:28:07] why should we have tariffs on our Goods
[00:28:09] going out and not put tariffs on people
[00:28:10] coming in the whole ethos of trump is
[00:28:13] we're not your daddy you know if we're
[00:28:15] going to help you you're going to help
[00:28:16] us we want to get paid for what we do we
[00:28:18] want you to take uh part of your own
[00:28:20] defense I mean I've been telling Europe
[00:28:22] opans this for over a decade that all
[00:28:24] their their wonderful welfare programs
[00:28:26] that they have and their Universal
[00:28:27] Health Healthcare that they have is paid
[00:28:29] for by us because we protect them right
[00:28:31] of course but the the one surprise
[00:28:33] tonight potentially could be that Trump
[00:28:36] as Howard letnik was uh suggesting
[00:28:38] earlier today Trump could roll back some
[00:28:40] of those tariffs that he announced last
[00:28:42] night so that might be somewhat
[00:28:44] surprising otherwise I'm expecting the
[00:28:46] pep rally I don't know about you guys
[00:28:48] it's too late to buy any index
[00:28:51] funds yeah exactly I mean I I I'd be a
[00:28:54] little surprised if he rolls back to
[00:28:55] terce that quickly um I think that he
[00:28:57] has to have some sort of headline that
[00:28:58] he can latch on to in order to do that
[00:29:00] some sort of win that he can say that he
[00:29:02] prized out of Canada or Mexico in in
[00:29:04] order to do that the one thing about
[00:29:05] President Trump that I've said many
[00:29:07] times but I think you're going to see it
[00:29:09] play out with regard to these tariffs is
[00:29:10] that President Trump likes good
[00:29:12] headlines and he does not like bad
[00:29:13] headlines when the Dow Jones Industrial
[00:29:15] Average drops by 1500 points in two days
[00:29:17] and suddenly the the lights start
[00:29:19] blinking red I don't think that
[00:29:20] President Trump is so wetted to the
[00:29:21] magical idea of tariffs that he won't
[00:29:23] reverse himself in order to sort of
[00:29:24] preserve economic health that's one
[00:29:26] thing and there had been some some
[00:29:28] rumors you know I doubt that he'll do it
[00:29:30] tonight but obviously I was pushing very
[00:29:32] hard today to Pardon Derrik chovin which
[00:29:34] I think would be a good move for the
[00:29:35] country because I while he was convicted
[00:29:38] on state charges he wouldn't free him
[00:29:39] from prison I do think that it would be
[00:29:41] very good and Sor for the country for
[00:29:43] the federal government to make clear
[00:29:44] that it is not going to hold to account
[00:29:46] people for crimes they they did not
[00:29:48] commit and which the jury was pretty
[00:29:50] obviously poisoned by everybody
[00:29:52] surrounding the court anybody who thinks
[00:29:54] that derck chovin got a fair trial
[00:29:55] regardless of what you think of the
[00:29:56] actual outcome of the trial anybody who
[00:29:58] pretends that that was even remotely a
[00:29:59] fair trial or the evidence stacked up to
[00:30:01] the conviction in that case I I I honest
[00:30:03] to God don't understand what what you're
[00:30:05] thinking to to be fairly Frank with you
[00:30:07] uh and again I think it would be a
[00:30:09] shocker if president Trump said anything
[00:30:10] about it tonight but I would not be
[00:30:12] surprised if something in the near
[00:30:13] future is done about it yeah well Ben
[00:30:15] and Matt you've got to get to your seats
[00:30:17] the show's about to begin you're sitting
[00:30:19] with speaker in speaker Johnson's uh uh
[00:30:22] box as I understand it's an unbelievable
[00:30:24] honor I I have no doubt that Drew and I
[00:30:27] will be invited the next State of the
[00:30:29] Union tell speaker Johnson we actually
[00:30:31] met he and I met right after he was
[00:30:32] elected I sat next to him at the first
[00:30:35] Trump prayer breakfast and he's
[00:30:36] forgotten me en
[00:30:37] time I know he doesn't care you guys
[00:30:40] have a great night we'll see you after
[00:30:41] the president's remarks hopefully we're
[00:30:43] able to get you back um and in the
[00:30:45] meantime we're going to look at the
[00:30:46] people coming in which is always kind of
[00:30:48] my favorite part of this it's like the
[00:30:49] red carpet of ugly
[00:30:51] people when people walk make their grand
[00:30:54] entrances into the State of the Union
[00:30:56] all right guys we'll see you later
[00:30:59] yeah yeah bye catch you
[00:31:04] later Ben and Matt off to the speaker
[00:31:06] box to hear president Donald Trump make
[00:31:09] his address to a joint session of
[00:31:11] Congress we're seeing all the best
[00:31:13] people walking
[00:31:14] into walking into the capital as we
[00:31:16] speak it's actually kind of fun I mean
[00:31:18] it really saw Elon a second ago and of
[00:31:21] course vice president JD Vance and
[00:31:23] speaker Mike Johnson already up on the
[00:31:26] podium and then a bunch of really Sullen
[00:31:29] looking Democrats which makes it I can't
[00:31:31] imagine what's wrong with them they are
[00:31:33] quite colorful though it's interesting
[00:31:35] because in recent years the Democrats
[00:31:37] especially the squad Democrats have worn
[00:31:39] white to make themselves look like the
[00:31:41] suffragettes or something this year
[00:31:42] they're wearing pink I maybe the I don't
[00:31:45] know the Purity femininity it's the
[00:31:47] femininity no one was buying the white
[00:31:48] dress softness and gentleness in the I
[00:31:50] noticed that none of them have shaved
[00:31:51] their heads though yeah I feel like if
[00:31:53] you're going to do if you're going to do
[00:31:54] it do it go all the way I'm I'm waiting
[00:31:57] I you know I like this whole idea of
[00:31:58] them having noise makers and you know
[00:32:00] like throwing throwing egg firers and
[00:32:03] things they can't humiliate themselves
[00:32:05] anymore at least as far as I'm concerned
[00:32:07] they can't humiliate themselves enough
[00:32:09] to actually uh humiliate themselves as
[00:32:11] much as they deserve so Nancy Pelosi is
[00:32:14] not a young
[00:32:15] woman she well you evil evil ages
[00:32:20] you she's actually only 40 just the evil
[00:32:22] has sucked all the life out of what does
[00:32:24] it say on that lady's jacket We the
[00:32:26] People huh it may have been the 14th
[00:32:29] Amendment on her sleeve yeah that's
[00:32:31] interesting I'm not positive but I think
[00:32:32] it may have been the the text of the
[00:32:35] 14th Amendment we're hearing that the
[00:32:36] president is running just a few minutes
[00:32:37] late which I call presidential
[00:32:39] prerogative of course you you we're just
[00:32:41] rudness wherever the president arrives
[00:32:44] he is precisely on time that's right
[00:32:45] that is one of the perks of the job
[00:32:48] classifying documents he just declares
[00:32:49] at the right time you know it's hard to
[00:32:50] tell exactly what the Democrats are
[00:32:52] trying to convey with their coordinated
[00:32:54] outfits because the white was supposed
[00:32:56] to coordinate to convey women rights you
[00:32:58] know hearkening back to the suffrage
[00:33:00] Jets the pink presumably is more and we
[00:33:02] have Melania walking in now looking much
[00:33:04] more elegant than any of the Democrats
[00:33:06] but but the pink I I suppose is to
[00:33:08] communicate women's rights Visa abortion
[00:33:12] I I would guess hey
[00:33:14] there's I know them a
[00:33:18] second I'm certain it has something to
[00:33:20] do with abortion it's really the it's
[00:33:22] the only issue they care about but I
[00:33:24] guess it that to me again states that
[00:33:26] the Democrats haven't learned anything
[00:33:28] from the election because abortion was
[00:33:30] supposed to win in the election and they
[00:33:31] lost the biggest the biggest U election
[00:33:35] that they lost in 20 years so then even
[00:33:37] this 14th Amendment thing you know
[00:33:39] trying to make an argument that
[00:33:40] Birthright citizenship uh pertains to
[00:33:42] Anchor babies and illegal aliens even
[00:33:45] the New York Times ran a column the
[00:33:47] other day uh making a good point that
[00:33:50] actually it's unclear from the 14th
[00:33:51] Amendment and the Supreme Court has
[00:33:53] never definitively ruled on that so I
[00:33:54] don't know it seems like they're fishing
[00:33:56] for an issue well see usually it's the
[00:33:58] the right who is blind to the culture
[00:34:00] but this is a really interesting
[00:34:03] situation in which the left does not
[00:34:04] know that that Shield of invisibility
[00:34:07] that was created by our corrupt news
[00:34:08] media has vanished it's been it's been
[00:34:10] destroyed by the evil us and and I think
[00:34:14] that they just don't get it they do not
[00:34:16] get that we can see them they don't get
[00:34:17] that they're standing there naked and
[00:34:19] like the whole country is kind of
[00:34:20] laughing at them the president's cabinet
[00:34:22] arriving now is the Secretary of State
[00:34:24] Marco Rubio
[00:34:26] and and crew uh Pete Heth who's kind of
[00:34:30] a friend of the organization and a
[00:34:31] fellow Nashville uh resident with
[00:34:35] us Howard letnik people don't know this
[00:34:38] Howard letnik talked to us one time
[00:34:40] about buying the daily wire not buying
[00:34:41] it he he wanted to help us take it
[00:34:43] public at one time can we nationalize it
[00:34:45] now yeah well that would be he's a con I
[00:34:47] like letnik he's I like his enthusiasm I
[00:34:49] do too I get a big kick out of out of
[00:34:51] fnck he's a you know he's he actually is
[00:34:56] Bobby Axelrod they say that the
[00:34:58] character was actually they say the the
[00:35:00] character was actually written in part
[00:35:01] is it really based on let yeah that
[00:35:03] checks out based on Howard Leck is RK
[00:35:05] I'm surprised he showed up because he
[00:35:06] has measles I
[00:35:09] think oh yeah heart's breaking all over
[00:35:11] the crunches sphere as he uh endorse the
[00:35:14] MRNA ex did you read the column so the
[00:35:17] the headline not mRNA the the measles
[00:35:19] the MMR the so the headline from Fox
[00:35:22] news.com was you know the measles
[00:35:25] vaccine is really important and it's
[00:35:27] crucial to fighting the disease if you
[00:35:29] read the column so the editors write the
[00:35:30] headline if you read the column he never
[00:35:33] endorses the vaccine really and in fact
[00:35:35] he says really the best way to fight
[00:35:36] this is good nutrition and you know
[00:35:38] actually 98% of deaths disappeared
[00:35:41] before the measles vaccine so if you
[00:35:43] read the text of it clearly HHS and and
[00:35:46] the White House want to hedge their bets
[00:35:47] a little bit in case there is a big
[00:35:49] outbreak but what's funny is if I'm
[00:35:52] reading the te leaves if I'm looking to
[00:35:53] invest maybe in different big Pharma
[00:35:55] companies I think this health secretary
[00:35:57] still hates the vaccine I if he hates
[00:36:00] the measles vaccines he's a he's a
[00:36:01] doofus you know because the measles
[00:36:04] vaccine cured the measles it's like
[00:36:06] whenever it appears they're gone at the
[00:36:07] very least he is the greatest Kennedy
[00:36:09] you know I don't know daming that's a
[00:36:12] cruel thing to say I will say that the
[00:36:14] make America healthy again movement I I
[00:36:16] think that it has some very good
[00:36:19] foundations and then it also has a
[00:36:20] little bit of kooky uh uh silliness to
[00:36:24] it I get the sense though that RFK Jr is
[00:36:28] one of the most genuinely decent dudes
[00:36:31] in in American politic really I just
[00:36:33] think that he's a I think he actually
[00:36:36] likes people yeah I think he actually
[00:36:37] likes the country yeah yeah I think he's
[00:36:40] I think he's intelligent I think he's
[00:36:42] intelligent yeah yeah and I love that he
[00:36:43] drove a a chainsawed off whale head from
[00:36:47] Kenna bunkport to my hometown okay
[00:36:49] that's the part I like yeah I don't know
[00:36:50] there's a lot of stuff with the women
[00:36:52] I'm not sure well you can't judge a
[00:36:55] Kennedy that's only 50%
[00:36:58] if all of the women uh in his background
[00:37:01] are still alive and none of them are
[00:37:02] submerged we lost one of we lost one of
[00:37:05] them didn't we as yeah that's fair point
[00:37:07] yeah we uh we also now I actually oh I
[00:37:11] guess that's Usha van I don't know who
[00:37:13] the two other women
[00:37:15] are but I want you know you know how
[00:37:17] they always introduce people that
[00:37:18] they've helped what I want want is for
[00:37:20] Trump to say heal and for Walsh to stand
[00:37:23] up and go I can walk
[00:37:25] again Shapiro can say like that was
[00:37:28] better than Jesus I never liked that guy
[00:37:30] oh man oh man you can't say things like
[00:37:33] that oh I'm
[00:37:35] sorry we've got just imagining what
[00:37:38] would be
[00:37:39] fun long speeches so everyone's still
[00:37:42] mingling this is not kicking off for a
[00:37:44] little while now no no no this is mingle
[00:37:46] City yeah it is interesting though to
[00:37:49] think in in recent memory we've had a
[00:37:54] mixture of conservatives and liberals up
[00:37:55] there on the de we've had at least one
[00:37:58] woman you know Nancy Pelosi ripping up
[00:38:00] the Beech we've had kamla Harris up
[00:38:02] there you know being kamla and now just
[00:38:05] a bunch of Republican dudes you know
[00:38:08] just a bunch of normal looking
[00:38:09] Republican white dudes
[00:38:11] yeah yeah I like to think we're back
[00:38:14] we're back we're so back the New York
[00:38:17] Times today went ran an article Trump
[00:38:19] has bullying masculinity I thought good
[00:38:23] A lot of people who need bullying in
[00:38:24] that town you be very interesting to see
[00:38:27] what the president chooses to cover in
[00:38:29] the speech obviously Donald Trump uh has
[00:38:32] never given a short speech well except
[00:38:35] there inaug is Inaugural that's true he
[00:38:38] pushed inside yeah that's right but then
[00:38:41] In fairness he immediately went
[00:38:42] downstairs and gave the rest of
[00:38:45] absolutely true that's absolutely right
[00:38:47] and this one you know truly Trump said
[00:38:50] we get tired of winning and I I almost
[00:38:53] am tired of winning and I in a very
[00:38:54] literal way and I do have three kids
[00:38:55] four and under and I've been traveling a
[00:38:57] lot
[00:38:58] this news cycle is exhausting because
[00:39:02] Trump whether you love him or hate him
[00:39:04] you have to admit he has notched so many
[00:39:07] victories in the first month in office
[00:39:09] yeah we're in we're like 45 days or
[00:39:10] something into like less than that less
[00:39:12] than that yeah and I I I personally have
[00:39:14] not stopped grinning I have been Giddy
[00:39:16] and I it's like I you know sometimes
[00:39:17] Trump annoys me sometimes he doesn't but
[00:39:19] like I I think he's doing great I love
[00:39:21] what he's doing and you know it it's
[00:39:24] funny this needed to happen and there's
[00:39:26] going to be some ancillary damage I mean
[00:39:28] I I'm sorry for some of the people
[00:39:30] losing their jobs some of the people who
[00:39:31] lose their jobs are going to be good
[00:39:32] people yeah but this cancer of these
[00:39:34] agencies has to be ripped out this just
[00:39:36] just has and and the president needs to
[00:39:39] be able to run the executive BR this is
[00:39:41] kind of basic stuff so you know the
[00:39:44] Democrats are whining I was on a liberal
[00:39:47] news Show recently they said isn't there
[00:39:49] a threat to the separation of powers and
[00:39:51] I thought no no no there was a threat to
[00:39:53] separation Trump is exerting actually
[00:39:56] his just Authority to hear a lawyer I
[00:39:58] have not asked a really a real
[00:39:59] constitutional lawyer how the
[00:40:01] legislature can create an agency in the
[00:40:03] executive branch that the executive
[00:40:05] can't destroy it seems to me if it's in
[00:40:08] the executive branch the executive can
[00:40:09] do anything he wants with well the trick
[00:40:11] of it is and this is kind of what
[00:40:13] Chevron is ultimately was ultimately
[00:40:15] about is that it actually is the
[00:40:19] legislature seeding its authority to
[00:40:23] regulate two executive agencies but then
[00:40:26] that the executive does doesn't have
[00:40:27] control over does have control over no
[00:40:29] they created a branch of government they
[00:40:31] created a branch of
[00:40:33] government and all this stuff about Elon
[00:40:35] Musk wasn't elected you know when they
[00:40:36] have all of these people weren't elected
[00:40:39] the other crazy thing when they knock
[00:40:40] Elon and and the department of
[00:40:41] government
[00:40:42] efficiency Doge has a 100-year plus
[00:40:46] precedent that this began really under
[00:40:48] Wilson Wilson the Bureau of efficiency
[00:40:51] that reformed the executive branch after
[00:40:53] that you had FDR had the brown low
[00:40:55] commission that created the Executive
[00:40:57] Office of the president after FDR Truman
[00:41:00] had the Hoover Commission same thing
[00:41:02] reorganized the executive Reagan had the
[00:41:04] grace commission my favorite example
[00:41:05] though is is more recently Al Gore as
[00:41:08] Vice I was just goingon to say that yeah
[00:41:10] he was Al Gore in the 90 I actually
[00:41:11] oddly enough was just sitting behind Al
[00:41:13] Gore on an airplane apparently global
[00:41:15] warming doesn't pay anymore he was
[00:41:16] sitting right in front of me commercial
[00:41:18] but Al Gore in the 90s had the uh
[00:41:20] National Initiative for Reinventing
[00:41:22] government yeah and it it fired a
[00:41:24] quarter million federal employees and it
[00:41:26] cons validated 800 agencies Elon hasn't
[00:41:29] come anywhere close to I know he was the
[00:41:31] most success the the only problem with
[00:41:33] him is a lot of it was gutting the
[00:41:34] military because they thought the Cold
[00:41:36] War was over and they were going to get
[00:41:37] rid of all the these soldiers we didn't
[00:41:38] need it was it was actually a bad thing
[00:41:40] but in terms of cutting government and
[00:41:42] cutting regulation Gore was very
[00:41:44] successful yeah they were you know
[00:41:46] Clinton was a good president
[00:41:47] domestically if you don't look at him
[00:41:48] overseas he was actually not a bad
[00:41:50] president and if you don't look inside
[00:41:51] the office and you don't look inside his
[00:41:53] heart his black heart
[00:41:56] yeah it is fun to think back to the '90s
[00:41:59] as you know I always say that the '90s
[00:42:01] were the the peak of American
[00:42:04] civilization the 90s are like the new
[00:42:05] 50s that's the new era that you look
[00:42:07] back to sort of nostalgically but it's
[00:42:09] so much better than the 50s in the 50s
[00:42:11] we we were in the middle of this cold
[00:42:12] war the nuclear arms race the Space Race
[00:42:16] uh everyone had PTSD from the war in the
[00:42:19] 90s we didn't have a single problem in
[00:42:22] the 90s we could Ascend Bill Clinton
[00:42:25] twice to be president of the United
[00:42:27] didn't matter and it didn't matter it
[00:42:29] was actually pretty good in the 1990s we
[00:42:31] could make Smashmouth yeah the a
[00:42:34] bestselling rock and roll band yeah
[00:42:36] singing songs about uh having your
[00:42:40] finger and your thumb in the shape of an
[00:42:41] L on your forehead because literally
[00:42:44] nothing was wrong now some Budd once
[00:42:46] told me about that yeah that was the
[00:42:47] that was The Great Onion headline when
[00:42:49] 911 happened there Americans yearn to
[00:42:52] care about stupid crap again yeah yeah
[00:42:54] right right that was the 90s no question
[00:42:57] I spent the 90s in England so I missed
[00:42:58] the whole thing I it was great in
[00:43:00] England I mean you missed the height of
[00:43:02] American power you missed of am there is
[00:43:05] truth to that in the 1990s Kurt Cobain
[00:43:08] killed himself to protest that nothing
[00:43:12] was wrong there was literally nothing
[00:43:15] wrong now is this all right now we have
[00:43:17] ladies and gentlemen the president of
[00:43:18] the United States
[00:43:28] I mean what a triumphant moment for
[00:43:30] Donald Trump no kidding
[00:43:36] man this is like the greatest version of
[00:43:40] uh when Nigel farage went to the
[00:43:42] European legislators and he said you
[00:43:45] know I came here a decade ago and I said
[00:43:47] we were leaving the EU and you all
[00:43:48] laughed at me who's laughing now this is
[00:43:51] Donald Trump's Who's Laughing Now moment
[00:43:54] and in living memory nothing like this
[00:43:55] has ever happened no I don't
[00:43:57] I can't think of anything maybe maybe
[00:43:59] Napoleon escaping
[00:44:02] from you know the the uh my son has a
[00:44:05] little place mat with all the presidents
[00:44:07] on the on the dining room table and he
[00:44:10] loves Trump he loves Johnson for some
[00:44:11] reason but he loves points to Trump
[00:44:13] better and there's one he loves imp
[00:44:14] Peach
[00:44:16] president he uh not that Johnson L Lyon
[00:44:20] Johnson but but there's one president
[00:44:22] with two pictures on there and on the
[00:44:25] next edition of that placement there'll
[00:44:27] be two there are going to be two and you
[00:44:28] know so Trump runs for president 16 and
[00:44:31] he says I'm going to be great I'm going
[00:44:32] to be the greatest president so historic
[00:44:34] and he has now made that happen yep he
[00:44:38] is now one of the most significant
[00:44:41] figures in American history no there's
[00:44:42] no question about that
[00:44:47] you and it's still you know it's up for
[00:44:49] grabs whether he's going to get away
[00:44:50] with the doing what he has to do which
[00:44:53] is killing the influence of the deep
[00:44:56] state yeah but he did get kissed by
[00:44:58] Nancy ma which I think is always that's
[00:45:01] my personal
[00:45:02] dream I'm a simple man win the
[00:45:05] presidency win the presidency
[00:45:07] again from
[00:45:20] Nancy I keep thinking that the sergeant
[00:45:22] in arms is Senator Bob Menendez and then
[00:45:24] I remember that Menendez is out
[00:45:27] if he was he's not anymore
[00:45:33] yeah that chip
[00:45:35] Roy I can't tell in the sea
[00:45:39] yeah I think anyone else has such a
[00:45:42] handsome goatee true you know you United
[00:45:43] States
[00:45:46] Congress
[00:45:50] oh Rubio nearby he's recovered from
[00:45:52] sinking into the couch during that opal
[00:45:54] office man he look like steam behind it
[00:45:58] it was sort of like that Meme of Homer
[00:46:00] Simpson backing into the bush he by the
[00:46:01] way is doing great he's doing a great
[00:46:03] job doing a great
[00:46:05] job
[00:46:08] Cavanaugh all the justices he say right
[00:46:15] yeah you're welcome Brett you're welcome
[00:46:19] Amy who are you
[00:46:24] [Applause]
[00:46:32] president greeting The Joint
[00:46:33] Chiefs now I I I couldn't quite see
[00:46:37] which justices made it I did not see
[00:46:39] katoni Jackson no I did not see Soto
[00:46:42] myor or
[00:46:44] Kagan now I might have just missed him
[00:46:46] it's hard cameras are moving Scalia
[00:46:49] famously would not go to the State of
[00:46:51] the Union uh he's he went in the first
[00:46:53] few years and then he said it was just a
[00:46:55] ridiculous political display in the
[00:46:56] justice has really had no role there the
[00:46:59] president about to take the podium and
[00:47:02] address The Joint session of Congress
[00:47:03] we'll cut to his remarks and then we'll
[00:47:05] be back as soon as that as the speech is
[00:47:07] over to tell you what we think about it
[00:47:09] we'll see you then
[00:47:33] w
[00:48:22] thank you
[00:48:36] [Music]
[00:48:41] thank you very much thank you very
[00:48:43] much it's a great honor thank you very
[00:48:46] much speaker
[00:48:48] Johnson vice president Vance the first
[00:48:52] lady of the United States
[00:48:55] [Applause]
[00:49:16] [Music]
[00:49:17] [Applause]
[00:49:20] members of the United States Congress
[00:49:24] thank you very much and to my fellow
[00:49:28] citizens America is back
[00:49:45] [Applause]
[00:49:50] [Music]
[00:49:51] [Applause]
[00:49:52] [Music]
[00:49:56] weeks ago I stood beneath the Dome of
[00:50:00] this capital and proclaimed the dawn of
[00:50:03] the golden age of America from that
[00:50:07] moment on it has been nothing but Swift
[00:50:10] and unrelenting action to usher in the
[00:50:13] greatest and most successful era in the
[00:50:16] history of our
[00:50:18] country we have accomplished more in 43
[00:50:21] days than most
[00:50:23] administrations accomplished in four
[00:50:25] years or eight years and we are just
[00:50:28] getting
[00:50:30] [Applause]
[00:50:45] [Music]
[00:50:48] started I returned to this chamber
[00:50:50] tonight to report that America's
[00:50:53] momentum is back our spirit is back our
[00:50:56] our pride is back our confidence is back
[00:51:00] and the American dream is surging bigger
[00:51:02] and better than ever
[00:51:06] [Applause]
[00:51:07] [Music]
[00:51:10] before the American dream is Unstoppable
[00:51:13] and our country is on the verge of a
[00:51:15] comeback the likes of which the world
[00:51:18] has never witnessed and perhaps will
[00:51:21] never witness again there never been
[00:51:24] anything like it
[00:51:26] [Music]
[00:51:29] the presidential election of November
[00:51:31] 5th was a mandate like has not been seen
[00:51:36] in many decades we won all seven swing
[00:51:39] States giving us an electoral college
[00:51:42] victory of
[00:51:43] 312 votes
[00:51:47] [Applause]
[00:51:59] we won the popular vote by big numbers
[00:52:02] and won counties in our country
[00:52:08] [Music]
[00:52:09] [Applause]
[00:52:30] [Music]
[00:52:31] and one counties in our country
[00:52:36] 2,700 to
[00:52:39] 525 on a map that reads almost
[00:52:42] completely red for
[00:52:45] [Applause]
[00:52:49] Republican now for the first time in
[00:52:52] modern history more Americans believe
[00:52:55] that our country is headed in the the
[00:52:56] right direction than the wrong direction
[00:52:59] in fact it's an astonishing record 27o
[00:53:03] swing the most
[00:53:06] [Applause]
[00:53:12] [Music]
[00:53:18] ever
[00:53:20] likewise small business optimism so it's
[00:53:23] single largest one month gain every
[00:53:26] recorded a
[00:53:28] 41o
[00:53:34] jump members are directed to uphold and
[00:53:37] maintain theorum in the house and to
[00:53:39] cease any further disruptions that's
[00:53:42] your
[00:53:48] warning members are engaging in willful
[00:53:50] and continuing breach of the Quorum and
[00:53:52] the chair is prepared to direct the
[00:53:54] sergeant-at-arms to restore order to the
[00:53:56] joint
[00:53:57] [Applause]
[00:54:16] [Applause]
[00:54:18] session Mr Green take your seat take
[00:54:21] your seat
[00:54:23] sir take your seat
[00:54:25] [Applause]
[00:54:28] finding that members continue to engage
[00:54:30] in willful and concerted disruption of
[00:54:32] proper decorum the chair now directs the
[00:54:34] Sant at Arms to restore
[00:54:37] order remove this gentleman from the
[00:54:40] chamber
[00:54:41] [Music]
[00:54:43] [Applause]
[00:55:04] [Music]
[00:55:08] [Applause]
[00:55:15] members are directed to uphold and
[00:55:17] maintain the Quorum in the house Mr
[00:55:20] President you continue thank
[00:55:23] you over the past 6 weeks I have signed
[00:55:26] nearly 100 executive orders and taken
[00:55:29] more than 400 executive actions a record
[00:55:33] to restore Common Sense safety optimism
[00:55:36] and wealth all across our wonderful land
[00:55:40] the people elected me to do the job and
[00:55:43] I'm doing it
[00:55:48] [Applause]
[00:55:57] [Music]
[00:56:00] [Applause]
[00:56:04] in fact it has been stated by many that
[00:56:07] the first month of our presidency it's
[00:56:10] our
[00:56:12] presidency is the most successful in the
[00:56:15] history of our
[00:56:18] nation by many
[00:56:22] [Applause]
[00:56:23] [Music]
[00:56:26] [Applause]
[00:56:27] [Music]
[00:56:29] and what makes it even more impressive
[00:56:31] is that do you know who number two is
[00:56:34] George Washington how about that how
[00:56:37] about I don't know about that list but
[00:56:40] but we'll take it within hours of taking
[00:56:44] the oath of office I declared a National
[00:56:46] Emergency on our Southern border and I
[00:56:49] deployed the US Military and border
[00:56:51] patrol to repel the invasion of our
[00:56:54] country
[00:56:56] and what a job they've done as a result
[00:56:59] illegal border crossings last month were
[00:57:02] by far the lowest ever recorded
[00:57:07] [Applause]
[00:57:20] ever they heard my words and they chose
[00:57:23] not to come much easier that way in
[00:57:27] comparison under Joe Biden the worst
[00:57:30] president in American history there were
[00:57:33] hundreds of thousands of illegal
[00:57:35] Crossings a month and virtually all of
[00:57:39] them including murderers drug dealers
[00:57:41] gang members and people from mental
[00:57:44] institutions and insane asylums were
[00:57:47] released into our country who would want
[00:57:50] to do that this is my fifth such speech
[00:57:54] to Congress and once again and I look at
[00:57:56] the Democrats in front of me and I
[00:57:59] realize there is absolutely nothing I
[00:58:01] can say to make them happy or to make
[00:58:04] them stand or smile or applaud nothing I
[00:58:07] can do I could find a cure to the most
[00:58:11] devastating disease a disease that would
[00:58:15] wipe out entire nations or announce the
[00:58:18] answers to the greatest economy and
[00:58:21] history or the stoppage of crime to the
[00:58:24] lowest levels ever recorded and these
[00:58:27] people sitting right here will not clap
[00:58:30] will not stand and certainly will not
[00:58:32] cheer for these astronomical
[00:58:35] achievements they won't do it no matter
[00:58:37] what five five times I've been up here
[00:58:40] it's very
[00:58:42] sad and it just shouldn't be this way
[00:58:47] [Applause]
[00:58:57] [Music]
[00:59:03] so Democrats sitting before me for just
[00:59:06] this one night why not join us in
[00:59:09] celebrating so many incredible wins for
[00:59:13] America for the good of our nation let's
[00:59:16] work together and let's truly make
[00:59:18] America great again
[00:59:25] [Applause]
[00:59:26] [Music]
[00:59:30] [Applause]
[00:59:32] [Music]
[00:59:36] every day my Administration is fighting
[00:59:38] to deliver the change America needs to
[00:59:43] bring a future that America deserves and
[00:59:46] we're doing it this is a time for Big
[00:59:50] Dreams and bold action upon taking
[00:59:53] office I imposed an immediate freeze on
[00:59:55] all Federal hiring a freeze on all new
[00:59:58] federal regulations and a freeze on all
[01:00:01] foreign
[01:00:03] [Applause]
[01:00:13] aid I terminated the ridiculous green
[01:00:16] new scam I withdrew from the unfair
[01:00:19] Paris climate Accord which was costing
[01:00:22] us trillions of dollars that other
[01:00:26] countries were not
[01:00:27] pay I withdrew from the corrupt World
[01:00:31] Health
[01:00:32] [Applause]
[01:00:36] Organization and I also withdrew from
[01:00:39] the anti-American UN Human Rights
[01:00:42] [Applause]
[01:00:42] [Music]
[01:00:44] [Applause]
[01:00:44] [Music]
[01:00:47] Council we ended all of Biden
[01:00:50] environmental restrictions that were
[01:00:52] making our country far less safe and
[01:00:54] totally unaffordable
[01:00:57] and importantly we ended the last
[01:00:59] administration's insane electric vehicle
[01:01:03] mandate saving our Auto Workers and
[01:01:06] companies from economic
[01:01:09] [Music]
[01:01:19] destruction to unshackle our economy I
[01:01:23] have directed that for every one new
[01:01:26] regulation 10 old regulations must be
[01:01:29] eliminated just like I did in my very
[01:01:32] successful first
[01:01:35] [Music]
[01:01:42] day and in that first term we set
[01:01:45] records on ending unnecessary rules and
[01:01:48] regulations like no other president had
[01:01:50] done before we ordered all federal
[01:01:53] workers to return to the office they
[01:01:56] will either show up for work in person
[01:01:58] or be removed from their
[01:02:01] [Applause]
[01:02:02] [Music]
[01:02:11] job and we have ended weaponized
[01:02:14] government where as an example a sitting
[01:02:16] president is allowed to viciously
[01:02:19] prosecute his political opponent like
[01:02:23] me how did that work out
[01:02:26] not too good not too
[01:02:28] [Applause]
[01:02:41] good and I have stopped all government
[01:02:43] censorship and brought back free speech
[01:02:47] in America it's back
[01:02:51] [Music]
[01:02:55] [Applause]
[01:02:57] [Music]
[01:02:58] and two days ago I signed an order
[01:03:01] making English the official language of
[01:03:03] the United States of
[01:03:05] [Applause]
[01:03:13] America I renamed the Gulf of Mexico the
[01:03:18] Gulf of America
[01:03:23] [Music]
[01:03:26] [Applause]
[01:03:28] and likewise I renamed for a great
[01:03:32] President William McKinley Mount
[01:03:35] McKinley
[01:03:37] [Applause]
[01:03:40] again beautiful Alaska we love
[01:03:45] alas We've Ended the tyranny of
[01:03:47] so-called diversity equity and inclusion
[01:03:51] policies all across the entire federal
[01:03:54] government and indeed the private sector
[01:03:57] and our
[01:03:57] [Applause]
[01:04:00] [Music]
[01:04:02] military and our country will be woke no
[01:04:07] [Applause]
[01:04:14] longer we believe that whether you are a
[01:04:16] doctor an accountant a lawyer or an air
[01:04:20] traffic
[01:04:21] controller you should be hired and
[01:04:24] promoted based on skill and competence
[01:04:26] not race or
[01:04:28] gender very
[01:04:30] [Music]
[01:04:37] important you should be hired based on
[01:04:41] Merit and the Supreme Court in A Brave
[01:04:44] and very powerful decision has allowed
[01:04:47] us to do so thank you thank you very
[01:04:49] [Applause]
[01:04:50] [Music]
[01:04:52] much we have removed the poison of
[01:04:56] critical race Theory from our public
[01:04:58] schools and I signed an order making it
[01:05:01] the official policy of the United States
[01:05:04] government that there are only two
[01:05:06] genders male and
[01:05:09] [Applause]
[01:05:17] [Music]
[01:05:22] female I also signed an executive order
[01:05:26] to ban men from playing in women's
[01:05:31] [Applause]
[01:05:42] sports three years ago Payton McNab was
[01:05:45] an
[01:05:46] Allstar High School athlete one of the
[01:05:48] best preparing for a future in college
[01:05:51] sports but when her girls volleyball
[01:05:54] match was invaded by M he smashed the
[01:05:58] ball so hard in Payton's face causing
[01:06:01] traumatic brain injury partially
[01:06:04] paralyzing her right side and ending her
[01:06:07] athletic career it was a shot like she's
[01:06:11] never seen before she's never seen
[01:06:13] anything like it pton is here tonight in
[01:06:16] the gallery and pton from now on schools
[01:06:19] will kick the men off the girls team or
[01:06:21] they will lose all federal funding
[01:06:26] [Music]
[01:06:33] [Music]
[01:06:40] [Applause]
[01:06:42] [Music]
[01:06:52] and if you really want to see numbers
[01:06:54] just take a look at what happened in the
[01:06:56] woman's boxing weightlifting track and
[01:06:59] field swimming recycling where a male
[01:07:01] recently finished a long distance race 5
[01:07:05] hours and 14 minutes ahead of a woman
[01:07:09] for a new record by 5 hours broke the
[01:07:13] record by five hours it's demeaning for
[01:07:16] women and it's very bad for our country
[01:07:18] we're not going to put up with it any
[01:07:20] longer
[01:07:22] [Music]
[01:07:37] what I have just described is only a
[01:07:38] small fraction of the Common Sense
[01:07:40] Revolution that is now because of us
[01:07:43] sweeping the entire world Common Sense
[01:07:46] has become a common theme and we will
[01:07:49] never go back never never going to let
[01:07:52] that happen
[01:07:54] [Music]
[01:07:57] among my very highest priorities is to
[01:08:00] rescue our economy and get dramatic and
[01:08:02] immediate relief to Working Families as
[01:08:05] you know we inherited from the last
[01:08:08] Administration an economic catastrophe
[01:08:11] and an inflation
[01:08:14] nightmare their policies drove up Energy
[01:08:18] prices pushed up grocery costs and drove
[01:08:21] the necessities of life Out Of Reach for
[01:08:24] millions and millions of Americans
[01:08:26] they've never had anything like it we
[01:08:28] suffered the worst inflation in 48 years
[01:08:31] but perhaps even in the history of our
[01:08:34] country they're not sure as president
[01:08:37] I'm fighting every day to reverse this
[01:08:39] damage and make America affordable again
[01:08:44] [Music]
[01:08:57] Joe Biden especially let the price of
[01:08:59] eggs get out of
[01:09:01] control the egg price is out of
[01:09:05] control and we're working hard to get it
[01:09:08] back down secretary do a good job on
[01:09:11] that you inherited a total mess from the
[01:09:13] previous administration do a good
[01:09:16] [Applause]
[01:09:21] [Music]
[01:09:23] job a major focus of our fight to defeat
[01:09:27] inflation is rapidly reducing the cost
[01:09:30] of energy the previous administration
[01:09:32] cut the number of new oil and gas leases
[01:09:35] by
[01:09:36] 95% slowed pipeline construction to a
[01:09:39] halt and closed more than 100 power
[01:09:43] plants we are opening up many of those
[01:09:46] power plants right now
[01:09:49] [Music]
[01:09:57] and frankly we have never seen anything
[01:10:01] like it that's why on my first day in
[01:10:03] office I declared a national Energy
[01:10:08] [Applause]
[01:10:11] emergency as you've heard me say many
[01:10:13] times we have more Liquid Gold under our
[01:10:16] feet than any Nation on Earth and by far
[01:10:19] and now I fully authorize the most
[01:10:22] talented team ever assembled to go go
[01:10:25] and get it it's called drill baby
[01:10:30] [Applause]
[01:10:32] [Music]
[01:10:42] drill my Administration is also working
[01:10:44] on a gigantic natural gas pipeline in
[01:10:47] Alaska among the largest in the world
[01:10:50] where Japan South Korea and other
[01:10:52] nations want to be our partner with
[01:10:54] invest of trillions of dollars each
[01:10:57] there's never been anything like
[01:10:59] that one it will be truly spectacular
[01:11:03] it's all set to go the permitting is
[01:11:05] gotten and later this week I will also
[01:11:08] take historic action to dramatically
[01:11:10] expand production of critical minerals
[01:11:13] and rare Earths here in the USA
[01:11:22] [Music]
[01:11:29] to further combat inflation we will not
[01:11:31] only be reducing the cost of energy but
[01:11:34] we be ending the flagrant waste of
[01:11:36] taxpayer
[01:11:38] [Applause]
[01:11:40] [Music]
[01:11:47] dollars and to that end I have created
[01:11:50] the brand new Department of government
[01:11:53] efficiency go
[01:11:56] perhaps you've heard of it
[01:11:59] [Applause]
[01:12:05] perhaps which is headed by Elon Musk who
[01:12:09] is in the gallery tonight
[01:12:12] [Music]
[01:12:13] [Applause]
[01:12:20] [Music]
[01:12:28] thank you Elon he's working very hard he
[01:12:31] didn't need this he didn't need this
[01:12:34] thank you very much we appreciate it
[01:12:36] everybody here even this side
[01:12:37] appreciates it I
[01:12:41] believe they just don't want to admit
[01:12:43] that just listen to some of the
[01:12:46] appalling waste we have already
[01:12:49] identified $22
[01:12:52] billion from HHS to provide Free Housing
[01:12:56] and cars for illegal aliens $45 million
[01:13:01] for diversity equity and inclusion
[01:13:03] Scholarships in Burma $40 million to
[01:13:07] improve the social and economic
[01:13:09] inclusion of
[01:13:11] sedentary migrants nobody knows what
[01:13:13] that
[01:13:15] is $8 million to promote
[01:13:19] lgbtqi
[01:13:21] Plus in the African nation of luto which
[01:13:25] nobody has ever heard
[01:13:27] of $60 million for indigenous peoples
[01:13:31] and afro Colombian empowerment in
[01:13:34] Central America $60 million $8 million
[01:13:39] for making mice
[01:13:43] transgender this is
[01:13:45] real $32 million for a leftwing
[01:13:49] propaganda operation in mova $10 million
[01:13:54] for male
[01:13:55] circumcision in mosm Beek $20 million
[01:14:00] for the Arab Sesame
[01:14:02] Street in the Middle East it's a program
[01:14:05] $20 million for a program $1.9 billion
[01:14:10] to recently created decarbonization of
[01:14:14] homes
[01:14:15] committee headed up and we know she's
[01:14:18] involved just at the last moment the
[01:14:20] money was passed over by a woman named
[01:14:24] Stacy a ABS have you ever heard of
[01:14:28] him a $3.5 million Consulting contract
[01:14:32] for lavish fish
[01:14:35] monitoring $1.5 billion for voter
[01:14:39] confidence in Liberia $14 million for
[01:14:43] social cohesion in Mali $59 million for
[01:14:48] legal alien hotel rooms in New York
[01:14:53] City he's a real estate develop he's
[01:14:55] done very well
[01:14:58] $250,000 to increase vegan local climate
[01:15:01] action
[01:15:02] innovation in
[01:15:04] Zambia $42 million for social and
[01:15:08] behavior change in
[01:15:10] Uganda $14 million for improving public
[01:15:13] procurement in Serbia $47 million for
[01:15:18] improving learning outcomes in Asia Asia
[01:15:22] is doing very well with learning
[01:15:25] you don't know what we're doing we
[01:15:26] should use it ourselves now $11 million
[01:15:30] for Dei contracts at the Department of
[01:15:34] Education the most ever paid nothing
[01:15:37] even like it under the Trump
[01:15:38] Administration all of these scams and
[01:15:41] they're far worse but I didn't think it
[01:15:43] was appropriate to talk about them
[01:15:45] they're so bad many more have been found
[01:15:48] out and exposed and swiftly terminated
[01:15:51] by a group of very intelligent mostly
[01:15:54] young people
[01:15:55] headed up by Elon and we appreciate it
[01:15:58] we found hundreds of billions of dollars
[01:16:01] of
[01:16:01] [Music]
[01:16:11] [Music]
[01:16:12] [Applause]
[01:16:16] Fraud and we've taken back the money and
[01:16:20] reduced our debt to fight inflation and
[01:16:22] other things taking back a lot of that
[01:16:25] money we got it just in time this is
[01:16:28] just the
[01:16:29] beginning the government accountability
[01:16:32] office federal government office has
[01:16:35] estimated annual fraud of over $500
[01:16:38] billion doll in our nation and we are
[01:16:41] working very hard to stop it we're going
[01:16:43] to we're also identifying shocking
[01:16:46] levels of incompetence and probable
[01:16:48] fraud in the Social Security program for
[01:16:52] our seniors and that our seniors
[01:16:55] and people that we love rely on Believe
[01:16:58] It or Not government databases list 4.7
[01:17:01] million Social Security members from
[01:17:04] people aged 100 to 109 years
[01:17:11] old it
[01:17:13] lists 3.6 million people from ages
[01:17:19] 110 to 119 I don't know any of them I
[01:17:22] know some people that are rather Eld L
[01:17:25] but not quite that
[01:17:26] elderly
[01:17:28] 3.47 million people from ages
[01:17:32] 120 to
[01:17:36] 129 3.9 million people from ages 130 to
[01:17:43] 139 3.5 million people from
[01:17:48] ages 140 to
[01:17:51] 149 and money is being paid to many of
[01:17:55] them and we're searching right now fact
[01:17:59] Pam good luck good luck you're going to
[01:18:03] find it but a lot of money is paid out
[01:18:06] to people because it just keeps getting
[01:18:08] paid and paid and nobody does and it
[01:18:11] really hurts Social Security and hurts
[01:18:14] our country 1.3 million people from ages
[01:18:17] 150 to 159 and over
[01:18:22] 130,000 people according to the Social
[01:18:27] Security databases our age
[01:18:31] over 160 years
[01:18:33] old we have a healthier country than I
[01:18:36] thought
[01:18:41] [Applause]
[01:18:53] Bobby including
[01:18:55] to finish
[01:18:57] 1,039 people between the ages of 220 and
[01:19:01] 229 one person between the age of 240
[01:19:04] and 249 and one person is listed at
[01:19:10] 360 years of
[01:19:12] age more than 100 years more than 100
[01:19:16] years older than our
[01:19:21] country but we're going to find out
[01:19:24] where that money is going and it's not
[01:19:26] going to be pretty by slashing all of
[01:19:28] the fraud waste and theft we can find we
[01:19:31] will defeat inflation bring down
[01:19:33] mortgage rates lower car payments and
[01:19:35] grocery prices protect our seniors and
[01:19:38] put more money in the pockets of
[01:19:40] American families
[01:19:42] [Applause]
[01:19:43] [Music]
[01:19:56] and today interest rates took a
[01:19:58] beautiful Drop big beautiful Drop it's
[01:20:00] about time and in the near future I want
[01:20:04] to do what has not been done in 24 years
[01:20:09] balance the federal budget we're going
[01:20:10] to balance
[01:20:14] [Applause]
[01:20:18] [Music]
[01:20:28] [Applause]
[01:20:31] with that goal in mind we have developed
[01:20:33] in great detail what we are calling the
[01:20:36] gold card which goes on sale very very
[01:20:40] soon for $5 million we will allow the
[01:20:44] most successful job creating people from
[01:20:46] all over the world to buy a path to US
[01:20:49] citizenship it's like the green card but
[01:20:52] uh better and more sophisticated
[01:20:56] and these people will have to pay tax in
[01:20:58] our country they won't have to pay tax
[01:21:00] from where they came the money that
[01:21:03] they've made you wouldn't want to do
[01:21:04] that but they have to pay tax create
[01:21:06] jobs they'll also be taking people out
[01:21:08] of colleges and paying for them so that
[01:21:10] we can keep them in our country instead
[01:21:12] of having them be being forced out
[01:21:15] number one at the top school as an
[01:21:17] example being forced out and not being
[01:21:19] allowed to stay and create tremendous
[01:21:21] numbers of jobs and great success for a
[01:21:25] company out there so while we take out
[01:21:27] the criminals killers traffickers and
[01:21:29] child Predators who are allowed to enter
[01:21:32] our country under the open border policy
[01:21:35] of these people the Democrats the Biden
[01:21:38] Administration the open border insane
[01:21:41] policies that you've allowed to destroy
[01:21:44] our country we will now bring in
[01:21:46] brilliant hardworking job creating
[01:21:49] people they're going to pay a lot of
[01:21:51] money and we're going to reduce our debt
[01:21:53] with that money
[01:21:54] [Applause]
[01:21:57] [Music]
[01:21:59] [Applause]
[01:22:00] [Music]
[01:22:06] Americans have given us a mandate for
[01:22:09] bold and profound change for nearly 100
[01:22:13] years the federal bureaucracy has grown
[01:22:16] until it has crushed our freedoms
[01:22:18] ballooned our deficits and held back
[01:22:20] America's potential in every possible
[01:22:24] way
[01:22:25] the nation founded by pioneers and Risk
[01:22:28] Takers now drowns under millions and
[01:22:30] millions of pages of regulations and
[01:22:34] debt approvals that should take 10 days
[01:22:37] to get instead take 10 years 15 years
[01:22:41] and even 20 years before you're
[01:22:43] rejected meanwhile we have hundreds of
[01:22:46] thousands of federal workers who have
[01:22:48] not been showing up to work my
[01:22:50] Administration will reclaim power from
[01:22:53] this unaccountable Bureau Ry and we will
[01:22:56] restore true democracy to America
[01:22:59] [Applause]
[01:23:01] [Music]
[01:23:12] again and any federal bureaucrat who
[01:23:15] resists this change will be removed from
[01:23:17] office
[01:23:20] immediately because we are draining the
[01:23:22] swamp it's very s simple and the days of
[01:23:26] rule by unelected bureaucrats are
[01:23:30] [Applause]
[01:23:34] [Music]
[01:23:40] [Applause]
[01:23:47] over and the next phase of our plan to
[01:23:50] deliver the greatest economy in history
[01:23:52] is for this Congress to pay has tax cuts
[01:23:55] for everybody they're in there they're
[01:23:57] waiting for you to vote and I'm sure
[01:24:00] that the people on my right I don't mean
[01:24:03] the Republican right but my right right
[01:24:06] here I'm sure you're going to vote for
[01:24:07] those tax cuts because otherwise I don't
[01:24:09] believe the people will ever vote you
[01:24:12] into office so I'm doing you a big favor
[01:24:14] by telling you
[01:24:16] that but I know this group is going to
[01:24:18] be voting for The TX
[01:24:24] [Music]
[01:24:33] thank you it's a very very big part of
[01:24:36] our plan we had tremendous success at
[01:24:38] our first ter with it a very big part of
[01:24:40] our plan we're seeking permanent income
[01:24:42] tax cuts all across the board and to get
[01:24:45] urgently needed relief to Americans hit
[01:24:48] especially hard by inflation I'm calling
[01:24:51] for no tax on tips no tax on time and no
[01:24:55] tax on Social Security benefits for our
[01:24:58] great
[01:25:01] [Music]
[01:25:02] [Applause]
[01:25:05] [Music]
[01:25:14] seniors and I
[01:25:16] also want to make interest payments on
[01:25:20] car loans tax deductible but only if the
[01:25:23] car is made in
[01:25:25] [Applause]
[01:25:29] [Music]
[01:25:35] America and by the way we're going to
[01:25:37] have growth in the Auto industry like
[01:25:39] nobody's ever seen plants are opening up
[01:25:41] all over the place deals are being made
[01:25:43] never seen that's a combination of the
[01:25:45] election win and tariffs it's a
[01:25:47] beautiful word isn't it that along with
[01:25:51] our other policies will allow our Auto
[01:25:54] industry to absolutely boom it's going
[01:25:56] to Boom spoke to the majors today all
[01:26:00] three the top people and they're so
[01:26:02] excited in fact already numerous car
[01:26:05] companies have announced that they will
[01:26:06] be building massive automobile plants in
[01:26:09] America with Honda just announcing a new
[01:26:12] plant in Indiana one of the largest
[01:26:15] anywhere in the world
[01:26:20] [Music]
[01:26:23] [Applause]
[01:26:25] [Music]
[01:26:29] and this has taken place since our great
[01:26:31] Victory on November 5th a date which
[01:26:34] will hopefully go down as one of the
[01:26:36] most important in the history of our
[01:26:39] [Applause]
[01:26:43] country in addition as part of our tax
[01:26:46] cuts we want to cut taxes on domestic
[01:26:49] production and O
[01:26:51] manufacturing and just as we did before
[01:26:54] we will provide 100% expensing it will
[01:26:57] be retroactive to January 20th
[01:27:01] 2025 and it was one of the main reasons
[01:27:04] why our tax cuts were so successful in
[01:27:07] our first term giving us the most
[01:27:10] successful economy in the history of our
[01:27:12] country first term we had a great first
[01:27:15] [Music]
[01:27:20] term if you don't make your product in
[01:27:23] America however under the Trump
[01:27:25] Administration you will pay a tariff and
[01:27:27] in some cases a rather large one other
[01:27:30] countries have used tariffs against us
[01:27:32] for decades and now it's our turn to
[01:27:35] start using them against those other
[01:27:37] countries on average the European Union
[01:27:41] China Brazil
[01:27:43] India Mexico and Canada have you heard
[01:27:46] of them and countless other nations
[01:27:49] charge us tremendously higher tariffs
[01:27:52] than we charge them it's very unfair
[01:27:56] India charges us Auto tariffs higher
[01:27:59] than
[01:28:00] 100% China's average tariff on our
[01:28:03] products is twice what we charge them
[01:28:06] and South Korea's average tariff is four
[01:28:09] times higher think of that four times
[01:28:11] higher and we give so much help
[01:28:13] militarily and in so many other ways to
[01:28:16] South Korea but that's what happens this
[01:28:18] is happening by friend and foe this
[01:28:22] system is not fair to the United States
[01:28:24] and never was and so on April 2nd I
[01:28:27] wanted to make it April 1st but I didn't
[01:28:31] want to be accused of April Fool's Day
[01:28:35] that's what that's not this one day was
[01:28:37] cost us a lot of
[01:28:39] money but we're going to do it in April
[01:28:42] I'm a very superstitious person April
[01:28:45] 2nd reciprocal tariffs kick in and
[01:28:49] whatever they tariff us other countries
[01:28:53] we will tariff them that's reciprocal
[01:28:56] back and forth whatever they tax us we
[01:28:59] will tax
[01:29:02] them if they do non-monetary
[01:29:05] [Music]
[01:29:07] tariffs to keep us out of their market
[01:29:10] then we will do non-monetary barriers to
[01:29:13] keep them out of our Market there's a
[01:29:16] lot of that too they don't even allow us
[01:29:18] in their Market we will take in
[01:29:20] trillions and trillions of dollars and
[01:29:22] create jobs like we have never seen
[01:29:25] before I did it with China and I did it
[01:29:28] with others and the Biden Administration
[01:29:30] couldn't do anything about it because
[01:29:31] there was so much money they couldn't do
[01:29:33] anything about it we have been ripped
[01:29:35] off for decades by nearly every country
[01:29:37] on Earth and we will not let that happen
[01:29:41] any
[01:29:43] [Applause]
[01:29:44] [Music]
[01:29:51] longer much has been said
[01:29:54] over the last 3 months about Mexico and
[01:29:57] Canada but we have very large deficits
[01:30:00] with both of them but even more
[01:30:02] importantly they've allowed fentol to
[01:30:04] come into our country at levels never
[01:30:06] seen before killing hundreds of
[01:30:08] thousands of our citizens and many very
[01:30:12] young beautiful people destroying
[01:30:14] families nobody's ever seen anything
[01:30:16] like it they are in effect receiving
[01:30:19] subsidies of hundreds of billions of
[01:30:21] dollars we pay subsidies to Canada
[01:30:24] and Mexico of hundreds of billions of
[01:30:27] dollars and the United States will not
[01:30:29] be doing that any longer we're not going
[01:30:31] to do it any
[01:30:33] [Applause]
[01:30:34] [Music]
[01:30:36] longer thanks to our America First
[01:30:39] policies we're putting into place we
[01:30:42] have had $1.7 trillion dollar of new
[01:30:45] investment in America in just the past
[01:30:47] few weeks the combination of the
[01:30:51] election and our economic policy that
[01:30:54] people of SoftBank one of the most
[01:30:56] brilliant anywhere in the world
[01:30:57] announced a $200 billion investment open
[01:31:02] Ai and Oracle Larry Ellison announced
[01:31:06] $500 billion investment which they
[01:31:10] wouldn't have done if Kamala had won
[01:31:14] Apple announced 500 billion investment
[01:31:20] Tim Cook called me he said I cannot
[01:31:23] spend it fast enough it's going to be
[01:31:25] much higher than that I believe they'll
[01:31:27] be building their plants here instead of
[01:31:29] in China and just yesterday Taiwan
[01:31:32] semiconductor the biggest in the world
[01:31:34] most powerful in the world has a
[01:31:37] tremendous amount 97% of the market
[01:31:41] announced a
[01:31:42] $65 billion investment to build the most
[01:31:46] powerful chips on earth right here in
[01:31:48] the USA
[01:31:50] [Music]
[01:32:01] and we're not giving them any money your
[01:32:03] chips sack is a horrible horrible thing
[01:32:06] we give hundreds of billions of dollars
[01:32:09] and it doesn't mean a thing they take
[01:32:10] our money and they don't spend it all
[01:32:13] that meant to them we're giving them no
[01:32:16] money all that was important to them was
[01:32:18] they didn't want to pay the Tariff so
[01:32:20] they came in their building and many
[01:32:21] other companies are coming we don't have
[01:32:23] to give them money we just want to
[01:32:25] protect our businesses and our people
[01:32:27] and they will come because they won't
[01:32:29] have to pay tariffs if they build in
[01:32:31] America so it's very amazing you should
[01:32:33] get rid of the chip act and whatever is
[01:32:36] left over Mr Speaker you should use it
[01:32:39] to reduce that or any other reason you
[01:32:42] want to
[01:32:44] [Music]
[01:32:54] [Applause]
[01:32:56] our new trade policy will also be great
[01:32:58] for the American Farmer I love the
[01:33:03] farmer who will now be
[01:33:06] selling into our home Market the USA
[01:33:09] because nobody is going to be able to
[01:33:11] compete with
[01:33:12] you because there's Goods that come in
[01:33:16] from other compan countries and
[01:33:18] companies they're un really really in a
[01:33:22] bad position in so many different ways
[01:33:24] they're
[01:33:26] uninspected they may be very dirty and
[01:33:29] disgusting and they come in and they
[01:33:30] pour in and they hurt our American
[01:33:32] farmers the tariffs will go on
[01:33:35] Agricultural Product coming into America
[01:33:37] and our our Farmers starting on April
[01:33:40] 2nd it may be a little bit of an
[01:33:42] adjustment period we had that before
[01:33:45] when I made the deal with China $50
[01:33:47] billion do of purchases and I said just
[01:33:49] bear with me and they did they did
[01:33:52] probably have to bear with me
[01:33:54] again and this will be even better that
[01:33:56] was great the problem with it was that
[01:33:58] Biden didn't enforce it he didn't
[01:34:00] enforce it 50 billion dollars of
[01:34:02] purchases and we were doing great but
[01:34:04] Biden did not enforce it and it hurt our
[01:34:07] Farmers but our farmers are going to
[01:34:10] have a field day right now so to our
[01:34:13] Farmers have a lot of fun I love you too
[01:34:16] I love you too it's all going to happen
[01:34:27] and I have also imposed a 25% tariff on
[01:34:30] foreign aluminum copper Lumber and steel
[01:34:33] because if we don't have as an example
[01:34:36] steel and lots of other things we don't
[01:34:38] have a military and frankly won't have
[01:34:40] we just won't have a country very long
[01:34:43] here today is a proud American Steel
[01:34:46] worker fantastic person from decada
[01:34:51] Alabama Jeff dard
[01:34:55] has been working at the same steel plant
[01:34:57] for 27 years in a job that has allowed
[01:35:00] him to serve as the captain of his local
[01:35:03] volunteer fire department raised seven
[01:35:06] children with his beautiful wife Nicole
[01:35:08] and over the years provide a loving home
[01:35:11] for more than 40 foster children so
[01:35:14] great Jeff
[01:35:17] [Applause]
[01:35:21] [Music]
[01:35:24] thank
[01:35:27] you thank you
[01:35:30] [Music]
[01:35:33] Jeff stories like Jeffs remind us that
[01:35:37] tariffs are not just about protecting
[01:35:39] American jobs they're about protecting
[01:35:42] the soul of our
[01:35:45] country tariffs are about making America
[01:35:48] Rich again and making America great
[01:35:50] again and it's happening and it will
[01:35:51] happen rather quickly there'll be a
[01:35:54] little
[01:35:55] disturbance but we're okay with that it
[01:35:58] won't be much no you're not
[01:36:03] oh and look and look where Biden took us
[01:36:06] very low the lowest we've ever been Jeff
[01:36:08] I want to thank you very much and I also
[01:36:10] want to recognize another person who has
[01:36:13] devoted herself to Foster Care Community
[01:36:16] she works so hard on it a very loving
[01:36:19] person our magnificent first lady of the
[01:36:22] United States
[01:36:24] [Applause]
[01:36:25] [Music]
[01:36:41] melania's work has yielded incredible
[01:36:44] results helping prepare our nation's
[01:36:46] Future Leaders as they enter the
[01:36:48] workforce our first lady is joined by
[01:36:51] two impressive young women very
[01:36:53] impressive
[01:36:54] Haley Ferguson who benefited from the
[01:36:56] first ladies fostering the future
[01:36:58] initiative and is poised to complete her
[01:37:02] education and become a teacher and
[01:37:04] Ellison Barry who became a victim of an
[01:37:07] illicit deep fake image produced by a
[01:37:11] pier with Ellison's help the Senate just
[01:37:15] passed the take it down act and this is
[01:37:20] so important thank you very much John
[01:37:22] John th thank you up
[01:37:24] joh thank you
[01:37:30] J thank you all very
[01:37:37] much thank
[01:37:39] you and thank you to John th and the
[01:37:42] Senate great job to criminalize the
[01:37:46] publication of such images online is
[01:37:49] terrible terrible thing and once it
[01:37:52] passes the house I look forward to
[01:37:54] signing that bill into law thank you and
[01:37:58] I'm going to use that bill for myself
[01:38:00] too if you don't mind cuz nobody gets
[01:38:02] treated worse than I do online
[01:38:05] nobody that's great thank you very much
[01:38:07] to the Senate thank
[01:38:09] you but if we truly care about
[01:38:12] protecting Americans children no step is
[01:38:15] more crucial than securing America
[01:38:18] borders over the past four years 21
[01:38:20] million people poured into the United
[01:38:22] States many of them were murderers human
[01:38:26] traffickers gang members and other
[01:38:28] criminals from the streets of dangerous
[01:38:30] cities all throughout the world because
[01:38:34] of Joe Biden's insane and very dangerous
[01:38:36] open border policies they are now
[01:38:39] strongly embedded in our country but we
[01:38:42] are getting them out and getting them
[01:38:44] out fast
[01:38:47] [Music]
[01:38:58] and I want to thank Tom
[01:39:00] Holman and Christie I want to thank you
[01:39:03] and Paul of border patrol I want to
[01:39:05] thank you what a job they've all done
[01:39:07] everybody border patrol
[01:39:09] ice law enforcement in general is
[01:39:12] incredible we have to take care of our
[01:39:13] law
[01:39:15] enforcement have
[01:39:16] [Applause]
[01:39:20] to last year
[01:39:27] a brilliant 22-year-old nursing student
[01:39:30] named Lake and Riley the best in her
[01:39:34] class admired by everybody went out for
[01:39:37] a jog on the campus of the University of
[01:39:40] Georgia that morning lakan was viciously
[01:39:43] attacked assaulted beaten brutalized and
[01:39:47] horrifically murdered Laken was stolen
[01:39:50] from us by a Savage illegal alien gang
[01:39:54] member who was arrested while
[01:39:56] trespassing across Biden's open Southern
[01:39:59] border and then set loose into the
[01:40:02] United States under the heartless
[01:40:04] policies of that failed Administration
[01:40:07] it was indeed a failed
[01:40:09] Administration he had then been arrested
[01:40:12] and released in a Democrat run Sanctuary
[01:40:15] City a disaster before ending the life
[01:40:18] of this beautiful young
[01:40:21] angel with us this evening our lak's
[01:40:23] beloved mother Allison and her sister
[01:40:27] [Applause]
[01:40:30] [Music]
[01:40:32] [Applause]
[01:40:33] [Music]
[01:40:51] Lauren last year I told lak's grieving
[01:40:54] parents that we would ensure their
[01:40:56] daughter would not have died in vain
[01:41:00] that's why the very first bill I signed
[01:41:02] into law as your 47th president mandates
[01:41:07] the Detention of all dangerous criminal
[01:41:10] aliens who threaten Public Safety it's
[01:41:13] very strong powerful Act
[01:41:28] it's called the lakan Riley act so
[01:41:32] Allison and Lauren America will never
[01:41:35] ever forget our beautiful Leen hul Riley
[01:41:41] [Music]
[01:41:41] [Applause]
[01:41:44] [Music]
[01:41:44] [Applause]
[01:41:45] [Music]
[01:41:46] [Applause]
[01:41:50] [Music]
[01:41:56] thank you very
[01:41:59] much since taking office my
[01:42:01] Administration has launched the most
[01:42:03] sweeping border and immigration
[01:42:05] Crackdown in American history and we
[01:42:09] quickly achieve the lowest numbers of
[01:42:12] illegal border crosses ever recorded
[01:42:15] thank you
[01:42:21] [Music]
[01:42:26] [Applause]
[01:42:32] the media and our friends in the
[01:42:34] Democrat Party kept saying we needed new
[01:42:37] legislation we must have legislation to
[01:42:40] secure the Border but it turned out that
[01:42:42] all we really needed was a new president
[01:42:46] [Applause]
[01:42:56] [Music]
[01:43:04] [Applause]
[01:43:08] thank
[01:43:09] you Joe Biden didn't just open our
[01:43:12] borders he flew illegal aliens over them
[01:43:15] to overwhelm our schools hospitals and
[01:43:18] communities throughout the country
[01:43:20] entire towns like Aurora Colorado and
[01:43:23] Springfield Ohio buckled under the
[01:43:26] weight of the migrant occupation and
[01:43:28] corruption like nobody's ever seen
[01:43:30] before beautiful towns destroyed now
[01:43:34] just as I promised in my inaugural
[01:43:36] address we are achieving the great
[01:43:40] liberation of
[01:43:41] [Music]
[01:43:42] [Applause]
[01:43:44] [Music]
[01:43:50] America but there's still
[01:43:54] is much work to be done here tonight is
[01:43:57] a woman I have gotten to know Alexis
[01:44:01] Nary from Houston wonderful woman last
[01:44:05] June Alexis's 12-year-old daughter her
[01:44:07] precious Joselyn walked to a nearby
[01:44:11] convenience store she was kidnapped tied
[01:44:14] up assaulted for two hours under a
[01:44:16] bridge and horrifically murdered
[01:44:19] arrested in charge with his heinous
[01:44:21] crime are two illegal Ian monsters from
[01:44:24] Venezuela released into America by the
[01:44:27] last Administration through their
[01:44:30] ridiculous open border the death of this
[01:44:33] beautiful 12-year-old girl and the agony
[01:44:35] of her mother and family touched our
[01:44:38] entire nation greatly Alexis I promised
[01:44:42] that we would always remember your
[01:44:44] daughter your magnificent daughter and
[01:44:47] earlier tonight I signed an order
[01:44:50] keeping my word to you
[01:44:53] one thing I have learned about Joselyn
[01:44:55] is that she loved animals so much she
[01:44:57] loved nature across galvaston Bay from
[01:45:01] where Joselyn lived in Houston you will
[01:45:04] find a magnificent National
[01:45:06] Wildlife Refuge a pristine peaceful
[01:45:11] 34,000 acre Sanctuary for all of God's
[01:45:15] creatures on the edge of the Gulf of
[01:45:19] America Alexis moments ago I formerly
[01:45:22] renamed that
[01:45:24] refuge in loving memory of your
[01:45:27] beautiful daughter
[01:45:29] Joselyn so Mr Vice President if you
[01:45:32] would may I have the order
[01:45:36] [Applause]
[01:45:37] [Music]
[01:45:52] [Music]
[01:46:00] [Applause]
[01:46:01] [Music]
[01:46:02] [Applause]
[01:46:03] [Music]
[01:46:06] thank you very much all three Savages
[01:46:09] charged with Joselyn and laken's murders
[01:46:13] were members of the Venezuelan prison
[01:46:16] gang the toughest gang they say in the
[01:46:18] world known as trendy
[01:46:21] araga two week weeks ago I officially
[01:46:24] designated this gang along with MS13 and
[01:46:27] the bloodthirsty Mexican drug cartels as
[01:46:30] foreign terrorist
[01:46:32] [Applause]
[01:46:37] [Music]
[01:46:48] organizations they are now officially in
[01:46:51] the same category as Isis and that's not
[01:46:54] good for them countless thousands of
[01:46:57] these terrorists were welcomed into the
[01:47:00] US by the Biden Administration but now
[01:47:04] every last one will be rounded up and
[01:47:06] forcibly removed from our country or if
[01:47:09] they're too dangerous put in jails
[01:47:12] standing trial in this country because
[01:47:14] we don't want them to come back ever
[01:47:18] with us this evening is a warrior on the
[01:47:20] front lines of that battle bard Patrol
[01:47:23] agent Roberto Ortiz great
[01:47:26] [Applause]
[01:47:27] [Music]
[01:47:47] [Applause]
[01:47:48] [Music]
[01:47:51] guy in January Roberto and another agent
[01:47:55] were patrolling by the Rio Grand near an
[01:47:58] area known as cartel Island doesn't
[01:48:01] sound too nice to me when heavily armed
[01:48:05] gunmen started shooting at them Roberto
[01:48:08] saw that his partner was totally exposed
[01:48:11] great danger and he leapt into action
[01:48:13] returning fire and providing crucial
[01:48:16] seconds for his fellow agent to seek sa
[01:48:20] safety just and just barely I have some
[01:48:23] of the prints of that event and it was
[01:48:27] not good Agent Ortiz We Salute You for
[01:48:30] Your Great courage and uh for your line
[01:48:33] of fire that you took and for The
[01:48:36] Bravery that you showed we honor you and
[01:48:39] we will always honor you thank you
[01:48:41] Roberto very much
[01:48:52] [Applause]
[01:48:55] [Music]
[01:48:57] thank you
[01:49:00] Roberto and I actually got to know him
[01:49:02] on my many calls to the Border he's a
[01:49:06] great great
[01:49:07] gentleman the territory to the immediate
[01:49:10] south of our border is now dominated
[01:49:12] entirely by criminal cartels that murder
[01:49:15] rape torture and exercise total control
[01:49:19] they have total control over a whole
[01:49:21] nation po posing a grave threat to our
[01:49:24] national security the cartels are Waging
[01:49:27] War in America and it's time for America
[01:49:30] to wage war on the cartels which we
[01:49:32] [Applause]
[01:49:33] [Music]
[01:49:36] [Applause]
[01:49:43] have five nights ago Mexican authorities
[01:49:48] because of our tariff policies being
[01:49:51] imposed on them think of this handed
[01:49:54] over to US 29 of the biggest cartel
[01:49:58] leaders in their country that has never
[01:50:01] happened before they want to make us
[01:50:03] happy first time
[01:50:05] [Applause]
[01:50:06] [Music]
[01:50:07] ever but we need Mexico and Canada to do
[01:50:12] much more than they've done and they
[01:50:13] have to stop the Fentanyl and drugs
[01:50:16] pouring into the USA they're going to
[01:50:19] stop it I have sent Congress a detail
[01:50:23] funding requests laying out exactly how
[01:50:25] we will eliminate these threats to
[01:50:28] protect our homeland and complete the
[01:50:30] largest deportation operation in
[01:50:32] American history larger even than
[01:50:35] current record holder president Dwight D
[01:50:37] Eisenhower a moderate man but someone
[01:50:40] who believed very strongly in borders
[01:50:43] Americans expect Congress to send me
[01:50:46] this funding without delay so I can sign
[01:50:48] it into law so Mr Speaker John Thun both
[01:50:53] of you I I hope you're going to be able
[01:50:55] to do that Mr speaker thank you Mr
[01:50:58] leader thank you thank you very much and
[01:51:00] let's get it to me I'll sign it so fast
[01:51:03] you won't even believe
[01:51:05] [Applause]
[01:51:05] [Music]
[01:51:08] [Applause]
[01:51:13] [Music]
[01:51:17] it and as we reclaim our sovereignty we
[01:51:21] must also bring back Law and Order to
[01:51:24] our cities and
[01:51:27] [Applause]
[01:51:30] [Music]
[01:51:32] towns in recent
[01:51:35] years our justice system has been turned
[01:51:38] upside down by radical left
[01:51:43] lunatics many jurisdictions virtually
[01:51:45] seized enforcing the law against
[01:51:48] dangerous repeat offenders while
[01:51:51] weaponizing law enforcement
[01:51:53] against political opponents like me my
[01:51:56] Administration has acted swiftly and
[01:51:59] decisively to restore Fair equal and
[01:52:02] impartial justice under the
[01:52:04] Constitutional rule of law starting at
[01:52:07] the FBI and the doj Pam good luck cash
[01:52:13] wherever you may be good luck good luck

[01:52:27] you thank you
[01:52:29] [Music]
[01:52:34] [Applause]
[01:52:35] [Music]
[01:52:38] cash they've already started very strong
[01:52:41] they're going to do a fantastic job
[01:52:42] you're going to be very proud of them
[01:52:45] we're also once again giving our police
[01:52:47] officers the support protection and
[01:52:49] respect they so dearly deserve they have
[01:52:53] to get it they have such a hard
[01:52:56] dangerous job but we're going to make it
[01:52:57] less dangerous the problem is the bad
[01:53:00] guys don't respect the law but they're
[01:53:01] starting to respect it and they soon
[01:53:03] will respect it this also includes our
[01:53:06] great fire departments throughout the
[01:53:08] country our firemen and women are
[01:53:10] unbelievable people and will'll never
[01:53:12] forget them and besides that they voted
[01:53:15] for me in record numbers so I have no
[01:53:17] chance

[01:53:20] [Music]
[01:53:21] [Applause]

[01:53:27] one year ago this month 31-year-old New
[01:53:31] York police officer Jonathan Diller
[01:53:35] unbelievably wonderful person and a
[01:53:37] great
[01:53:38] officer was gunned down at a traffic
[01:53:41] stop on Long Island I went to his
[01:53:44] funeral The Vicious criminal charged
[01:53:47] with his murder had 21 prior arrests and
[01:53:50] they were rough arrests too he was a
[01:53:53] real bad one the thug in the seat next
[01:53:55] to him had 14 prior arrests and went by
[01:53:59] the name of killer he was killer he
[01:54:01] killed other people they say a lot of
[01:54:03] them I attended officer dealers service
[01:54:07] and when I met his wife and one-year-old
[01:54:11] son Ryan it was very inspirational

[01:54:40] Stephanie we're going to make sure that
[01:54:42] Ryan knows his dad was a true hero New
[01:54:45] York's finest and we're going to get
[01:54:48] these cold blooded killers and repeat
[01:54:50] offenders off our streets we're going to
[01:54:52] do it fast got to stop it they get out
[01:54:56] with 28 arrests they push people into
[01:54:58] subway trains they hit people over the
[01:55:01] head back of the head with baseball bats
[01:55:05] we got to get them out of here I've
[01:55:07] already signed an executive order
[01:55:09] requiring a mandatory death penalty for
[01:55:11] anyone who murders a police officer and
[01:55:14] tonight I'm asking Congress to pass that
[01:55:21] poliy into permanent
[01:55:26] [Music]
[01:55:35] law I'm also asking for a new crime Bill
[01:55:39] getting tough on repeat offenders while
[01:55:42] enhancing protections for America's
[01:55:44] police officers so they can do their
[01:55:47] jobs without fear of their lives being
[01:55:50] totally destroyed they don't want to be
[01:55:52] killed we're not going to let him be
[01:55:54] [Applause]
[01:55:58] killed joining us at the gallery tonight
[01:56:01] is a young man who truly loves our
[01:56:04] police his name is DJ Daniel he is 13
[01:56:07] years old and he has always dreamed of
[01:56:09] becoming a police officer
[01:56:19] [Music]
[01:56:20] [Applause]
[01:56:28] [Music]
[01:56:30] [Applause]
[01:56:34] [Music]
[01:56:36] [Applause]
[01:56:46] [Music]
[01:56:47] [Applause]
[01:56:49] [Music]
[01:56:51] but in 2018
[01:56:52] DJ was diagnosed with brain cancer the
[01:56:56] doctors gave him 5 months at most to
[01:56:59] live that was more than six years ago
[01:57:03] [Applause]
[01:57:08] [Music]
[01:57:21] [Applause]
[01:57:25] since that time DJ and his dad have been
[01:57:28] on a quest to make his dream come true
[01:57:31] and DJ has been sworn in as an honorary
[01:57:34] law enforcement officer actually a
[01:57:37] number of times peace the police love

[01:57:48] our new secret service director Sean
[01:57:51] Curran to officially make you an agent
[01:57:54] of the United States Secret Service
[01:57:59] [Applause]
[01:58:11] [Music]

[01:58:26] [Music]
[01:58:32] [Music]
[01:58:42] thank you
[01:58:45] DJ DJ's doctors believe his cancer
[01:58:48] likely came from a chemical he was
[01:58:50] exposed to when he was younger
[01:58:53] since 1975 rates of child cancer have
[01:58:56] increased by more than
[01:58:59] 40% reversing this trend is one of the
[01:59:02] top priorities for our new presidential
[01:59:05] commission to make America healthy again
[01:59:08] shared by our new secretary of Health
[01:59:11] and Human Services Robert F Kennedy Jr
[01:59:15] [Applause]
[01:59:26] [Music]
[01:59:33] [Music]
[01:59:34] [Applause]
[01:59:36] with the name Kennedy you would have
[01:59:38] thought everybody over here would have
[01:59:39] been cheering how quickly they
[01:59:42] forget our goal is to get toxins out of
[01:59:46] our environment poisons out of our food
[01:59:49] supply and keep our children healthy and
[01:59:52] and strong as an
[01:59:54] example not long ago and you can't even
[01:59:58] believe these numbers one in 10,000
[02:00:02] children had autism 1 in
[02:00:05] 10,000 and now it's 1 in
[02:00:08] 36 there's something wrong 1 in 36 think
[02:00:11] of that so we're going to find out what
[02:00:14] it is and there's nobody better than
[02:00:15] Bobby and all of the people that are
[02:00:17] working with you you have the best to uh
[02:00:20] figure out what is going on okay Bobby
[02:00:23] good luck it's a very important job
[02:00:25] thank
[02:00:26] [Music]
[02:00:28] [Applause]
[02:00:30] [Music]
[02:00:37] you thank you my Administration is also
[02:00:41] working to protect our children from
[02:00:43] toxic ideologies in our schools a few
[02:00:46] years ago January Little John and her
[02:00:49] husband discovered that their daughter's
[02:00:51] school had secretly socially
[02:00:53] transitioned their 13-year-old little
[02:00:56] girl teachers and administrators
[02:00:59] conspired to deceive January and her
[02:01:01] husband while encouraging her daughter
[02:01:04] to use a new name and
[02:01:07] pronouns they them pronoun actually all
[02:01:11] without telling January who is here
[02:01:13] tonight and is now a courageous Advocate
[02:01:16] against this form of child abuse January
[02:01:19] thank you thank you
[02:01:22] thank you very
[02:01:24] [Music]
[02:01:28] [Applause]
[02:01:36] much thank you stories like this are why
[02:01:40] shortly after taking office I signed an
[02:01:42] executive order Banning public schools
[02:01:44] from indoctrinating our children with
[02:01:47] transgender ideology
[02:01:50] [Music]
[02:01:58] I also signed in order to cut off all
[02:02:01] taxpayer funding to any institution that
[02:02:04] engages in the sexual mutilation of our
[02:02:07] [Applause]
[02:02:09] [Music]
[02:02:14] youth and now I want Congress to pass a
[02:02:17] bill permanently Banning and
[02:02:20] criminalizing sex changes on children
[02:02:22] and forever ending the lie that any
[02:02:25] child is trapped in the wrong body this
[02:02:28] is a big
[02:02:29] [Music]
[02:02:31] [Applause]
[02:02:35] lie and our message to every child in
[02:02:39] America is that you are perfect exactly
[02:02:41] the way God Made You
[02:02:47] [Music]
[02:02:57] because we're getting wokeness out of
[02:02:59] our schools and out of our military and
[02:03:02] it's already out and it's out of our
[02:03:05] society we don't want it wokeness is
[02:03:08] trouble wokeness is bad it's gone it's
[02:03:12] gone and we feel so much better for it
[02:03:15] don't we don't we feel
[02:03:17] [Applause]
[02:03:17] [Music]
[02:03:20] better our service members won't be
[02:03:23] activists and ideologues they will be
[02:03:26] Fighters and warriors they will fight
[02:03:29] for our country and Pete
[02:03:31] congratulations Secretary of Defense
[02:03:44] congratulations and he's not big into
[02:03:46] the woke movement I can tell you I know
[02:03:49] him well I am pleased to report that in
[02:03:52] January the US Army had its single best
[02:03:54] recruiting month in 15 years and that
[02:03:57] all armed services are having among the
[02:04:00] best recruiting results ever in the
[02:04:03] history of our services what a
[02:04:06] [Music]
[02:04:12] difference and you know it was just a
[02:04:16] few months ago where the results were
[02:04:19] exactly the opposite we couldn't recruit
[02:04:22] anywhere we couldn't recruit now we're
[02:04:24] having the best results just about that
[02:04:28] we've ever had what a tremendous
[02:04:31] turnaround it's really a beautiful thing
[02:04:33] to see people love our country again
[02:04:35] it's very simple they love our country
[02:04:38] and they love being in our military
[02:04:39] again so it's a great thing and thank
[02:04:41] you very much great job
[02:04:45] [Music]
[02:04:52] we're joined tonight by a young man
[02:04:55] Jason Hartley who knows the weight of
[02:04:57] that Call of Duty Jason's father
[02:05:00] grandfather and great-grandfather all
[02:05:03] wore the uniform Jason tragically lost
[02:05:06] his dad who was also a Los Angeles
[02:05:10] County Sheriff's deputy when he was just
[02:05:12] a boy and now he wants to carry on the
[02:05:14] family Legacy of service Jason is a
[02:05:18] senior in high school a six-letter
[02:05:20] Varsity athlete a good athlete they say
[02:05:23] a brilliant student with a
[02:05:25] 4.46 that's good
[02:05:28] GPA and his greatest dream is to attend
[02:05:31] the US Military Academy at West Point
[02:05:35] [Applause]
[02:05:36] [Music]
[02:05:42] [Applause]

[02:05:48] [Music]
[02:05:59] and J Jason that's a very big deal
[02:06:01] getting in that's a hard one to get into
[02:06:04] but I'm pleased to inform you that your
[02:06:07] application has been accepted you will
[02:06:10] soon be joining the core k
[02:06:15] [Applause]
[02:06:20] [Music]
[02:06:22] [Applause]
[02:06:24] [Music]
[02:06:29] [Applause]
[02:06:32] [Music]
[02:06:37] [Applause]
[02:06:39] [Music]
[02:06:42] thank you Jason you're going to be on
[02:06:44] the long Gray Line
[02:06:47] Jason as commanderin-chief my focus is
[02:06:50] on building the most power ful military
[02:06:52] of the future as a first step I'm asking
[02:06:56] Congress to fund a state-of-the-art
[02:06:58] golden dome missile defense shield to
[02:07:00] protect our homeland all made in the
[02:07:04] [Music]
[02:07:13] USA and Ronald Reagan wanted to do it
[02:07:17] long ago but the technology just wasn't
[02:07:19] there not even close but now we have
[02:07:21] have the technology it's incredible
[02:07:23] actually and other places have they have
[02:07:26] it Israel has it other places have it
[02:07:30] and the United States should have it too
[02:07:32] right Tim right they should have it too
[02:07:35] so I want to thank you but it's a very
[02:07:37] very important this is a very dangerous
[02:07:40] world we should have it we want to be
[02:07:42] protected and we're going to protect our
[02:07:44] citizens like never
[02:07:45] before to boost our defense industrial
[02:07:48] base we are also going to resurrect the
[02:07:51] American ship building industry
[02:07:53] including commercial ship building and
[02:07:56] military ship
[02:07:57] [Applause]
[02:08:03] building and for that purpose I am
[02:08:05] announcing tonight that we will create a
[02:08:08] new office of ship building in the White
[02:08:10] House and offer special tax incentives
[02:08:13] to bring this industry home to America
[02:08:15] where it belongs we used to make so many
[02:08:17] ships we don't make them anymore very
[02:08:20] much but we're going to and make them
[02:08:22] very fast very soon it will have a huge
[02:08:25] impact to further enhance our national
[02:08:27] security my Administration will be
[02:08:30] reclaiming the Panama Canal and we've
[02:08:33] already started doing
[02:08:35] [Music]
[02:08:37] [Applause]
[02:08:42] it just today a large American company
[02:08:46] announced they are buying both ports
[02:08:49] around the Panama Canal and lots of
[02:08:52] other things having to do with the
[02:08:53] Panama Canal and a couple of other
[02:08:55] canals the Panama Canal was built by
[02:08:58] Americans for Americans not for others
[02:09:03] but others could use it but it was built
[02:09:05] at tremendous cost of American blood and
[02:09:08] treasure 38,000 workers died building
[02:09:11] the Panama Canal they died of malaria
[02:09:15] they died of snake bites and mosquitoes
[02:09:17] not a nice place to work they paid them
[02:09:20] very highly to go there knowing there
[02:09:22] was a 25% chance that they would die the
[02:09:26] most expensive project also that was
[02:09:29] ever built in our country's history if
[02:09:31] you bring it up to modern day costs it
[02:09:34] was given away by The Carter
[02:09:36] Administration for $1 dollar but that
[02:09:39] agreement has been violated very
[02:09:41] severely we didn't give it to China we
[02:09:45] gave it to Panama and we're taking it
[02:09:46] back
[02:09:48] [Applause]
[02:09:51] [Music]
[02:10:00] and we have Marco Rubio in charge good
[02:10:03] luck
[02:10:04] Marco now we know who to blame if
[02:10:08] anything goes
[02:10:09] wrong now Marco has been amazing and
[02:10:11] he's going to do a great job think of it
[02:10:14] he got a 100
[02:10:17] votes you know he was approved with
[02:10:19] actually 99 but the 100th was this
[02:10:22] gentleman and I feel very certain so
[02:10:25] let's assume he got 100 votes and I'm
[02:10:27] either very very happy about that or I'm
[02:10:30] very concerned about
[02:10:31] it but he's already proven I mean he's a
[02:10:35] great gentleman he's respected by
[02:10:36] everybody and we appreciate your voting
[02:10:38] for Marco he's going to do a fantastic
[02:10:40] job thank you thank
[02:10:42] you he's doing a great
[02:10:45] [Music]
[02:10:49] job great job
[02:10:53] and I also have a message tonight for
[02:10:55] the incredible people of
[02:10:58] Greenland we strongly support your right
[02:11:01] to determine your own
[02:11:03] future and if you choose we welcome you
[02:11:05] into the United States of America we
[02:11:08] need Greenland for National Security and
[02:11:11] even International Security and we're
[02:11:13] working with everybody involved to try
[02:11:15] and get it but we need it really for
[02:11:17] international World
[02:11:19] security and I think we're going to get
[02:11:21] it one way or the other we're going to
[02:11:24] get
[02:11:25] it we will keep you safe we will make
[02:11:29] you rich and together we will take
[02:11:31] Greenland to Heights like you have never
[02:11:34] thought possible before it's a very
[02:11:36] small population but very very large
[02:11:39] piece of land and very very important
[02:11:42] for military security America is once
[02:11:45] again standing strong against the forces
[02:11:47] of radical Islamic terrorism through
[02:11:51] three and A2 years ago Isis terrorists
[02:11:53] killed 13 American Service members and
[02:11:56] countless others in the abig gate
[02:11:58] bombing during the disastrous and
[02:12:01] incompetent withdrawal from Afghanistan
[02:12:04] not that they were withdrawing it was
[02:12:06] the way they withdrew perhaps the most
[02:12:09] embarrassing moment in the history of
[02:12:11] our country tonight I am pleased to
[02:12:14] announce that we have just apprehended
[02:12:16] the top terrorist responsible for that
[02:12:20] atrocity and and he is right now on his
[02:12:22] way here to face the Swift sword of
[02:12:25] American
[02:12:27] [Applause]
[02:12:30] [Music]
[02:12:36] [Music]
[02:12:37] [Applause]
[02:12:39] [Music]
[02:12:43] [Applause]
[02:12:45] [Music]
[02:12:49] Justice and I want to thank especially
[02:12:51] the government of Pakistan for helping
[02:12:54] arrest this
[02:12:55] monster this was a very momentous day
[02:12:58] for those 13 families who I actually got
[02:13:00] to know very well most of them whose
[02:13:03] children were murdered and the many
[02:13:07] people that were so badly over 42 people
[02:13:10] so badly injured on that fateful day in
[02:13:13] Afghanistan what a horrible
[02:13:15] day such incompetence was
[02:13:18] shown that when Putin saw what happened
[02:13:22] I guess he said wow maybe this is my
[02:13:24] chance that's how bad it was should have
[02:13:27] never happened grossly incompetent
[02:13:30] people I spoke to many of the parents
[02:13:33] and loved ones and they were all in our
[02:13:37] hearts tonight just spoke to him on the
[02:13:40] phone we had a big call every one of
[02:13:42] them called and everybody was on the
[02:13:46] line and they did nothing but cry with
[02:13:49] happiness they were very happy as happy
[02:13:51] as you can be under those circumstances
[02:13:54] their child brother
[02:13:57] sister son daughter
[02:14:00] was killed for no reason whatsoever in
[02:14:04] the Middle East we're bringing back our
[02:14:07] hostages from Gaza in my first term we
[02:14:10] achieved one of the most groundbreaking
[02:14:12] peace agreements in Generations the
[02:14:15] Abraham Accords
[02:14:17] [Music]
[02:14:25] [Applause]
[02:14:30] [Music]
[02:14:35] and now we're going to build on that
[02:14:37] Foundation to create a more peaceful and
[02:14:39] prosperous future for the entire region
[02:14:41] a lot of things are happening in the
[02:14:43] Middle East people have been talking
[02:14:44] about that so much lately with
[02:14:47] everything going on with Ukraine and
[02:14:48] Russia but a lot of things are happening
[02:14:51] happening in the Middle East it's a
[02:14:52] rough neighborhood actually I'm also
[02:14:55] working tirelessly to end the Savage
[02:14:57] conflict in Ukraine millions of
[02:15:00] ukrainians and Russians have been
[02:15:02] needlessly killed or wounded in this
[02:15:04] horrific and brutal conflict with no end
[02:15:07] in sight the United States has sent
[02:15:11] hundreds of billions of dollars to
[02:15:14] support Ukraine's defense with no
[02:15:18] security with no ener
[02:15:23] [Music]
[02:15:29] [Music]
[02:15:34] do you want to keep it going for another
[02:15:35] five years yeah yeah you you would say
[02:15:38] pocah Hunter says yes
[02:15:50] [Music]
[02:15:52] 2,000 people are being killed every
[02:15:54] single week more than
[02:15:57] that they're Russian young people
[02:15:59] they're Ukrainian young people they're
[02:16:01] not Americans but I want it to stop
[02:16:05] meanwhile Europe has sadly spent more
[02:16:07] money buying Russian oil and gas than
[02:16:10] they have spent on defending Ukraine by
[02:16:13] far think of that they've spent more
[02:16:15] buying Russian oil and gas than they
[02:16:18] have defending and we've spent perhaps
[02:16:21] $350
[02:16:23] billion like taking candy from a baby
[02:16:27] that's what happened and they've spent a
[02:16:30] hundred billion doll what a difference
[02:16:32] that is and we have an ocean separating
[02:16:35] us and they don't but we're getting
[02:16:38] along very well with them and lots of
[02:16:41] good things are happening Biden has
[02:16:43] authorized more money in this fight then
[02:16:47] Europe has spent
[02:16:49] by billions and billions of dollars it's
[02:16:52] hard to believe that they wouldn't have
[02:16:53] stopped it and said at some point Come
[02:16:55] On Let's equalize you got to be equal to
[02:16:57] us but that didn't happen earlier today
[02:17:00] I received an important letter from
[02:17:02] president zalinski of Ukraine the letter
[02:17:06] reads Ukraine is ready to come to the
[02:17:08] negotiating table as soon as possible to
[02:17:11] bring lasting peace closer nobody wants
[02:17:14] peace more than the ukrainians he said
[02:17:17] my team and I stand ready to work under
[02:17:20] President Trump
[02:17:21] strong leadership to get a peace that
[02:17:25] lasts we do really value how much
[02:17:28] America has done to help Ukraine
[02:17:30] maintain its sovereignty and
[02:17:32] Independence regarding the agreement on
[02:17:34] minerals and security Ukraine is ready
[02:17:37] to sign it at any time that is
[02:17:40] convenient for you I appreciate that he
[02:17:43] sent this letter just got it a little
[02:17:46] while ago simultaneously we've had
[02:17:48] serious discussions with Russia
[02:17:51] and have received strong signals that
[02:17:53] they are ready for peace wouldn't that
[02:17:55] be beautiful wouldn't that be
[02:17:58] [Music]
[02:18:09] beautiful wouldn't that be
[02:18:15] [Music]
[02:18:17] beautiful it's time to stop this madness
[02:18:20] it's time to halt The Killing it's time
[02:18:23] to end the senseless War if you want to
[02:18:25] end Wars you have to talk to both sides
[02:18:29] nearly four years ago amid Rising
[02:18:31] tensions a history teacher named Mark
[02:18:34] Fogle was detained in Russia and
[02:18:37] sentenced to 14 years in a penal colony
[02:18:41] rough stuff the previous administration
[02:18:45] barely lifted a finger to help him they
[02:18:47] knew he was innocent but they had no
[02:18:49] idea where to begin
[02:18:51] but last summer I promised his
[02:18:53] 95-year-old mother
[02:18:55] Maline that we would bring her boy
[02:18:58] safely back
[02:19:00] home after 22 days in office I did just
[02:19:04] that and they are here tonight
[02:19:08] [Music]
[02:19:13] [Applause]
[02:19:19] [Music]
[02:19:30] [Applause]
[02:19:32] [Music]
[02:19:40] [Applause]
[02:19:43] [Music]
[02:19:45] [Applause]
[02:19:47] to Mark and his great mom we are
[02:19:49] delighted to have you safe and sound and
[02:19:52] with
[02:19:53] us as fate would have it Mark Fogle was
[02:19:57] born in a small rural town in
[02:20:01] Butler Pennsylvania have you heard of it
[02:20:04] where his mother has lived for the past
[02:20:07] 78 years I just happened to go there
[02:20:11] last July 13th for a
[02:20:14] rally that was not
[02:20:17] pleasant and that is where I met his
[02:20:21] beautiful Mom right before I walked onto
[02:20:24] that
[02:20:25] stage and I told her I would not forget
[02:20:28] what she said about her son and I never
[02:20:31] did did I never
[02:20:33] forgot less than 10 minutes later at
[02:20:36] that same
[02:20:38] rally gunfire rang out and a sick and
[02:20:42] deranged assassin unloaded eight bullets
[02:20:45] from his snipers perch into a crowd of
[02:20:47] many thousands of people my life was
[02:20:50] saved by a fraction of an inch but some
[02:20:54] were not so
[02:20:56] lucky Corey comparator was a firefighter
[02:21:00] a veteran a Christian a husband a
[02:21:02] devoted father and above all a
[02:21:07] protector when the sound of gunshots
[02:21:09] pierced the air was a horrible sound
[02:21:13] Cory knew instantly what it was and what
[02:21:16] to do he threw himself on top of his
[02:21:19] wife and daughter
[02:21:21] and shielded them from the bullets with
[02:21:24] his own
[02:21:25] body Corey was hit really
[02:21:29] hard you know the story from there he
[02:21:31] sacrificed his life to save theirs two
[02:21:35] others very fine people were also
[02:21:37] seriously
[02:21:39] hit but thankfully with the help of two
[02:21:42] great country
[02:21:44] doctors we thought they were gone and
[02:21:46] they were saved so those doctors had
[02:21:48] great talent were joined by Corey's wife
[02:21:53] Helen who was his high school sweetheart
[02:21:57] and their two beloved daughters Allison
[02:21:59] and
[02:22:01] Kaylee thank you
[02:22:06] [Applause]
[02:22:09] [Music]
[02:22:28] [Applause]
[02:22:29] [Music]
[02:22:32] [Applause]
[02:22:36] to Helen Allison and Kaylee Corey is
[02:22:38] looking down on his three beautiful
[02:22:41] ladies right now and he is cheering you
[02:22:44] on he loves you he is cheering you on
[02:22:48] Corey was taken from us much too soon
[02:22:50] but his Destiny was to leave us all with
[02:22:53] a shining example of the selfless
[02:22:56] devotion of a true American Patriot it
[02:23:00] was love like cories that built our
[02:23:02] country and it's love like cories that
[02:23:04] is going to make our country more
[02:23:06] Majestic than ever before I believe that
[02:23:10] my life was saved that day in Butler for
[02:23:13] a very good reason I was saved by God to
[02:23:16] make America great again I believe that
[02:23:21] [Music]
[02:23:23] [Applause]
[02:23:25] [Music]
[02:23:41] thank you very much from the Patriots of
[02:23:43] Lexington and Concord to the heroes of
[02:23:46] Gettysburg and Normandy from the
[02:23:48] Warriors who crossed the Del Delaware to
[02:23:51] the Trailblazers who climbed the Rockies
[02:23:54] and from the Legends who soared at
[02:23:57] Kittyhawk to the astronauts who touched
[02:24:00] the moon Americans have always been the
[02:24:03] people who defied all Arts transcended
[02:24:06] all dangers made the most extraordinary
[02:24:09] sacrifices and did whatever it took to
[02:24:12] defend our children our country and our
[02:24:14] freedom and as we have seen in this
[02:24:17] chamber tonight that same strength Faith
[02:24:20] love and spirit is still alive and
[02:24:23] thriving in the hearts of the American
[02:24:26] people despite the best efforts of those
[02:24:29] who would try to censor us silence us
[02:24:31] break us destroy us Americans are today
[02:24:34] a proud free Sovereign and independent
[02:24:37] nation that will always be free and we
[02:24:42] will fight for it till death we will
[02:24:46] never let anything happen to our Beloved
[02:24:49] Country because we are a country of
[02:24:51] doers dreamers Fighters and survivors
[02:24:55] our ancestors crossed a vast ocean stro
[02:24:58] into the unknown Wilderness and carve
[02:25:00] their fortunes from The Rock and soil of
[02:25:03] a perilous and very dangerous
[02:25:07] Frontier they chased our destiny across
[02:25:10] a boundless continent they built the
[02:25:13] railroads laid the highways and Grace
[02:25:15] the world with American Marvels like the
[02:25:18] Empire State Building the Mighty Hoover
[02:25:21] Dam and the Towering Golden Gate Bridge
[02:25:26] they lit the world with electricity
[02:25:28] Broke Free of the force of gravity fired
[02:25:32] up the engines of American industry and
[02:25:35] vanquished the Communists fascists and
[02:25:38] marxists all over the world and gave us
[02:25:41] countless modern wonders sculptured out
[02:25:44] of iron glass and
[02:25:45] steel we stand on the shoulders of these
[02:25:48] Pioneers who won and built
[02:25:50] the Modern Age these workers who poured
[02:25:54] their sweat into the skylines of our
[02:25:56] cities these Warriors who shed their
[02:25:59] blood on fields of battle and gave
[02:26:01] everything they had for our rights and
[02:26:04] for our freedom now it is our time to
[02:26:07] take up the righteous cause of American
[02:26:10] Liberty and it is our turn to take
[02:26:12] America's Destiny into our own hands and
[02:26:16] begin the most thrilling days in the
[02:26:19] history of our country
[02:26:21] this will be our greatest ERA with God's
[02:26:24] help over the next four years we are
[02:26:26] going to lead this nation even higher
[02:26:30] and we are going to forge the freest
[02:26:33] most advanced most dynamic and most
[02:26:36] dominant civilization ever to exist on
[02:26:39] the face of this Earth we are going to
[02:26:42] create the highest quality of life build
[02:26:45] the safest and wealthiest and healthiest
[02:26:48] and most vital communities anywhere in
[02:26:51] the world we are going to conquer the
[02:26:54] vast frontiers of Science and we are
[02:26:56] going to lead Humanity into space and
[02:27:00] plant the American flag on the planet
[02:27:02] Mars and even far beyond
[02:27:07] [Music]
[02:27:24] and through it all we are going to
[02:27:26] ReDiscover the Unstoppable power of the
[02:27:29] American Spirit and we are going to
[02:27:32] renew unlimited promise of the American
[02:27:35] dream every single day we will stand up
[02:27:38] and we will fight fight fight for the
[02:27:40] country our citizens believe in and for
[02:27:43] the country our people deserve
[02:27:47] [Music]
[02:27:51] [Applause]
[02:27:53] [Music]
[02:27:56] [Applause]
[02:27:57] [Music]
[02:28:00] [Applause]
[02:28:09] my fellow Americans get ready for an
[02:28:12] incredible future because the Golden Age
[02:28:15] of America has only just begun it will
[02:28:19] be like nothing that has ever been seen
[02:28:23] before thank you God bless you and God
[02:28:26] bless America
[02:28:29] [Applause]
[02:28:41] [Music]
[02:28:42] [Applause]
[02:28:47] [Music]
[02:29:02] [Applause]
[02:29:04] an amazing speech by Donald Trump to the
[02:29:07] Joint session of Congress maybe maybe
[02:29:09] the longest joint session ever by a
[02:29:11] president of the United States I mean if
[02:29:13] we think of it as a State of the Union
[02:29:14] Address even though technically it isn't
[02:29:16] one you know was this an hour 40 an hour
[02:29:19] an hour
[02:29:21] Bill Clinton had some doozies in there
[02:29:22] so I don't know if it was the longest
[02:29:24] ever but you know I was I was there at
[02:29:26] Biden's last year and it felt long 40
[02:29:29] minutes or something it was yeah I mean
[02:29:30] he might have pushed it closer to an
[02:29:32] hour but it felt like two days and this
[02:29:35] one I'm not saying there weren't moments
[02:29:37] that lulled compared to others but I was
[02:29:39] I was engaged for about 92% of this I
[02:29:43] mean this was an amazingly well-written
[02:29:45] and delivered speech uh also Trump set
[02:29:49] this trap for Democrats really the
[02:29:51] Democrats set the trap for themselves
[02:29:53] and he just called their attention to it
[02:29:54] when he said these I could get up here I
[02:29:56] could cure the worst diseases I could do
[02:29:59] the greatest Feats and they would not
[02:30:00] stand up and applaud and at that point
[02:30:03] they said well now we're really not
[02:30:04] going to stand up and applaud so you
[02:30:06] know just to use the most stirring
[02:30:08] example in a night of amazing moments
[02:30:10] the one that stole the show was that
[02:30:12] 13-year-old boy who's been fighting
[02:30:14] brain cancer DJ it special age in Secret
[02:30:18] Service you know he was he always wanted
[02:30:20] to be a cop and he's now made a member
[02:30:22] of the US Secret Service and you just
[02:30:25] think man if if you can't agree in this
[02:30:28] country that that is a good thing we
[02:30:31] have nothing in common we have nothing
[02:30:32] that we can agree on and the Democrats
[02:30:34] would not stand up many of them would
[02:30:36] not even applaud a little kid fighting
[02:30:39] cancer you know I amazing these are sick
[02:30:42] people this it was an extraordinary
[02:30:45] speech and you know yeah you can say it
[02:30:46] was too long Trump T to do that guys the
[02:30:50] according to AI which knows everything
[02:30:53] yeah uh the the record belongs to Bill
[02:30:56] Clinton yep I knew it 1 hour 28 minutes
[02:30:59] 49 seconds oh wait I think there may be
[02:31:03] a new new record wow okay all right
[02:31:05] there may be a new record wow but but
[02:31:07] I've I've never I don't think anyone has
[02:31:09] ever seen a president go in there as
[02:31:10] pugilistic as he did and really take the
[02:31:13] Republicans uh the Democrats head on
[02:31:16] like that and the Democrats who came to
[02:31:18] start trouble were bullied into silence
[02:31:22] beaten into Silence by this one man who
[02:31:25] has just taken everything from them you
[02:31:28] know false uh accusations impeachments
[02:31:31] an assassination attempt you know
[02:31:33] convictions for felonies that don't even
[02:31:35] exist that no one can name and he has
[02:31:37] beaten them every time and he did it
[02:31:39] again he did it again and I I just can't
[02:31:41] help thinking that look in the end the
[02:31:44] proof is in the pudding he's going to
[02:31:45] have to pull it off he's going to have
[02:31:46] to improve the economy he's going to
[02:31:47] have to bring down prices he's going to
[02:31:49] have to olve the debt and all those
[02:31:51] things and build our military back
[02:31:52] because we're in big trouble with our
[02:31:53] military as China's military sores but
[02:31:56] in terms of a promise in terms of
[02:31:58] looking at a president and thinking yeah
[02:32:00] that guy could do that that we we now
[02:32:02] have a leader it it's an extraordinary
[02:32:04] he's an extraordinary person in an
[02:32:06] extraordinary moment and and you know it
[02:32:09] it's he has this way of blowing away all
[02:32:12] the kind of
[02:32:14] picky uh criticisms that you can throw
[02:32:17] at him because it's been so long since
[02:32:21] anybody stood up and said this is a
[02:32:25] great country and I will bring it to
[02:32:26] another level of greatness who who has
[02:32:28] said that besides Reagan since Reagan
[02:32:30] right who has said this is a wonderful
[02:32:32] wonderful country which it is and I will
[02:32:34] make it in and I will stand up into that
[02:32:37] tradition and move it to the next step
[02:32:39] it was it was an amazing thing and I I
[02:32:40] don't know I I can't help thinking I
[02:32:42] could be wrong you never know about this
[02:32:44] stuff but I can't help thinking that
[02:32:45] after the Press fumes and screams and
[02:32:47] Roars and shakes their fist the American
[02:32:49] people people are just going to you know
[02:32:51] push his his popularity up to the next
[02:32:53] level you know what they won't be able
[02:32:54] to say they always say after Trump
[02:32:56] speeches it was
[02:32:58] dark and and the reality is there was
[02:33:00] nothing dark about this speech Trump was
[02:33:03] having a great time he looked like he
[02:33:05] having and this I think really off-
[02:33:06] footed the Democrats Trump was having so
[02:33:10] much fun and it was infectious and the
[02:33:12] audience was having fun and they did not
[02:33:14] know how to react to that so I'm I can't
[02:33:17] name even a tenth of the examples but
[02:33:20] when when Trump goes out there he says
[02:33:22] we killed the top terrorist in
[02:33:23] Afghanistan the Democrats not only they
[02:33:26] not they don't applaud so the Democrats
[02:33:28] formally come out in favor of the top
[02:33:30] terrorist in Afghanistan the the when
[02:33:32] Trump says we're taking down the cartels
[02:33:34] the Democrats don't applaud Democrats
[02:33:36] formally come out as Pro cartel that's a
[02:33:38] curious political Choice when Trump
[02:33:40] announces that he brought an American
[02:33:41] citizen home from a Russian prison they
[02:33:44] can't even applaud that they booed the
[02:33:46] police they boo the that's no surprise
[02:33:48] we got to support the police and boot
[02:33:50] yeah but that moment has passed that
[02:33:52] moment when when you could say one of
[02:33:54] maybe one of the stupidest things any
[02:33:56] political party has ever uh supported
[02:33:58] defunding the police that that moment of
[02:34:01] Hysteria and and uh dizziness and uh
[02:34:04] vertigo has gone and now we know we
[02:34:07] remember the obvious thing we need
[02:34:09] police because they're bad guys and we
[02:34:10] need good guys to stop the bad guys and
[02:34:13] he supports them they're booing they're
[02:34:14] literally booing it they're not just not
[02:34:16] standing up they're literally booing him
[02:34:17] yeah he unbelievable and and you know
[02:34:20] the
[02:34:21] Democrats they do not know I I said this
[02:34:23] to to Megan Kelly the other day they
[02:34:25] simply do not know what has happened and
[02:34:27] what has happened is that force field of
[02:34:30] protection that they was given to them
[02:34:32] by our rotten corrupt leftwing uh
[02:34:35] establishment press has been destroyed
[02:34:37] by people like us you know and and like
[02:34:40] and by Megan and by Joe Rogan and by all
[02:34:42] those people this New Media has wiped it
[02:34:44] away and and you know they're still
[02:34:46] there they still have a lot of reporting
[02:34:47] power but they do not have the power to
[02:34:49] lock without being exposed in real time
[02:34:53] thanks to Elon Musk to some degree on X
[02:34:56] you know that they can be exposed and
[02:34:57] people see through them they don't get
[02:35:00] it they don't get that their force field
[02:35:01] is gone should we talk about Al Green
[02:35:03] getting thrown out not the good singer
[02:35:05] yeah talking I always lik green you know
[02:35:08] when he stood up there right at the
[02:35:10] beginning I just thought wow this is he
[02:35:12] he's a ridiculous person but but really
[02:35:16] he was just by degree a little bit more
[02:35:18] extreme than the Democrats many of them
[02:35:20] were heckling him tonight and I thought
[02:35:21] from the moment they started doing that
[02:35:23] I said this is a it's inappropriate it's
[02:35:27] disreputable but it's just a bad
[02:35:29] political choice I agree I also think it
[02:35:31] was a bad choice of uh of the people who
[02:35:35] are producing the actual video broadcast
[02:35:38] of the speech not to let us hear what he
[02:35:39] was saying yeah because he went to all
[02:35:41] that trouble it was so disruptive it's
[02:35:43] shut down the speech all these things
[02:35:44] happen and none of us know what on Earth
[02:35:46] I mean he had a cane I think you made
[02:35:48] the point that it was like from the 1800
[02:35:50] of su or something yeah yeah right but I
[02:35:52] don't know what the guy was was on about
[02:35:54] but you could tell obviously that uh
[02:35:56] speaker Johnson was already prepared for
[02:35:59] this yes he had all of the the uh
[02:36:02] procedural order in front of him so that
[02:36:04] he'd be able to react because the
[02:36:06] Democrats were forecasting that they
[02:36:08] were going to cause this kind of trouble
[02:36:09] for you know the entire day leading into
[02:36:11] the Al Green I think has already
[02:36:13] introduced articles of impeachment
[02:36:14] against trumman he's tried to impeach
[02:36:16] him like 150 times already so he he's
[02:36:19] slightly more extreme version of the
[02:36:21] Democrats but all the heckling tonight I
[02:36:24] just thought you know it it was going to
[02:36:26] be a bad night for the Democrats because
[02:36:28] they lost the Electoral College by a lot
[02:36:30] they lost the popular vote significantly
[02:36:32] and for the first time in 20 years so it
[02:36:33] was just going to be a bad night and if
[02:36:35] they just sort of were even slightly
[02:36:38] normal they might have gotten through it
[02:36:41] and lived to fight another day but I
[02:36:42] don't think the median American or even
[02:36:45] the even the center left American
[02:36:47] watching that display tonight is taking
[02:36:48] the side night for the Democrats and
[02:36:51] truly if they had just treated it like
[02:36:53] any 1990s State of the Union Address
[02:36:56] they would have come out far ahead of
[02:36:57] they could have walked out and just said
[02:36:58] what a divisive speech you know he could
[02:37:00] have brought the country together and he
[02:37:02] didn't it would have been ineffective
[02:37:03] but it would have been a lot more
[02:37:04] effective than this and because he knew
[02:37:06] it was coming he brought that force of
[02:37:09] Personality I've never seen any you know
[02:37:11] he's just he's like the he's like those
[02:37:12] old sheriffs and the movies who go out
[02:37:14] and stand up against the Lynch Mob and
[02:37:15] just the force of their personality
[02:37:17] makes everybody kind of ashamed and go
[02:37:18] home by the end of it weren't saying
[02:37:19] anything they were just sitting there
[02:37:21] they put down their stupid signs and all
[02:37:23] this what do they support you know what
[02:37:25] do they support they're stuck they're
[02:37:26] stuck with this transgender garbage
[02:37:28] they're stuck with this racial garbage
[02:37:31] the people you know I think people on
[02:37:33] both sides of the racial divide if it
[02:37:34] still is a divide I think they're sick
[02:37:36] of it you know they know it doesn't work
[02:37:38] the Dei thing is disgraceful it is
[02:37:40] racism embedded in government like it
[02:37:42] hasn't been since the end of the Jim
[02:37:44] Crow laws it's all of it is so
[02:37:46] disgusting and I think that that that
[02:37:48] fog that were in I mean this is the
[02:37:50] thing that bothered me most about the
[02:37:52] Biden Administration is I would talk to
[02:37:54] normal everyday people who were not
[02:37:56] particularly political and you would say
[02:37:58] you
[02:37:58] know sexually mutilating a child is a
[02:38:02] nazil like atrocity it's not like saying
[02:38:04] oh Donald Trump is Hitler it's actually
[02:38:07] like what Nazis did and they would kind
[02:38:09] of just gloss you know kind of go into
[02:38:11] this Fugue State because we were all in
[02:38:13] this bad dream that this was the way it
[02:38:15] was going to be that this was normal
[02:38:17] that there was something right about
[02:38:18] this or defensible about it and I think
[02:38:20] people have woken up from that and he
[02:38:21] just took advantage of that and slammed
[02:38:23] them and one last thing he's right about
[02:38:26] Joe Biden Joe Biden was the worst
[02:38:27] president ever and the fact that he was
[02:38:30] protected by the press and Jake zapper
[02:38:32] is writing a book if I did it you know
[02:38:35] exactly the autobiography it's like yeah
[02:38:38] no I mean they think we're going to
[02:38:39] forget but we don't have to forget
[02:38:40] anymore because this new media is here
[02:38:43] to remind us and to show us and bring
[02:38:44] the re I think there was that look on
[02:38:46] some of the Democrat members Faces
[02:38:48] tonight which which was and not all of
[02:38:50] them but some of them where they thought
[02:38:52] you know yikes maybe just maybe we
[02:38:56] shouldn't have raided this guy's house
[02:38:58] like you know this because because
[02:39:00] Donald Trump woke up today and he chose
[02:39:02] violence he he knew he came to this
[02:39:05] thing he said you know I've paid a lot
[02:39:08] and I nearly lost my life very nearly on
[02:39:10] one occasion and almost on another
[02:39:12] occasion to be here I've given up a lot
[02:39:14] for this job and you people you tried to
[02:39:18] throw me in prison for times you tried
[02:39:20] to kick me off the ballot you tried to
[02:39:21] murder me you raided my home and guess
[02:39:24] what guess Who's laughing now yeah guess
[02:39:26] how did that he asked the question of
[02:39:28] the members how did that work out how
[02:39:29] did that work out for you you know I
[02:39:31] mean just a political Vindication the
[02:39:34] likes of which we have never seen in
[02:39:36] this country before and you're right
[02:39:38] that line where he said you know I could
[02:39:39] do anything and you wouldn't stand up it
[02:39:41] actually kind of cut their legs off
[02:39:43] because because he started by saying
[02:39:46] look you know what would you applaud for
[02:39:48] what would you and they proved that he
[02:39:49] was right and so it just kind of took
[02:39:51] the legitimacy away from them it's kind
[02:39:53] of amazing and I I did enjoy seeing
[02:39:55] Walsh and Shapiro in the in the gallery
[02:39:58] we do we have any video of uh of Ben and
[02:40:01] Matt at the
[02:40:02] event quite an amazing thing yeah oh we
[02:40:06] may have the Democrat response let's
[02:40:07] let's hear what they're
[02:40:09] saying I also signed an executive order
[02:40:14] demat men from playing in women's sports
[02:40:19] [Applause]
[02:40:25] there they are they
[02:40:27] are with our friend Riley G Riley G hey
[02:40:30] guys I believe we have the Democrat
[02:40:32] response can we hear
[02:40:35] it America is exceptional you can find
[02:40:38] that
[02:40:39] sism here in w. Michigan where I'm
[02:40:42] speaking from tonight is there a way
[02:40:44] it's a working class town just south of
[02:40:46] Detroit president Trump and I
[02:40:53] still AC the United States places where
[02:40:56] people believe that if you work hard and
[02:40:58] play by the rules you should do well and
[02:41:00] your kids should do better you don't
[02:41:02] believe that it reminds me of how I grew
[02:41:03] up my dad was a lifelong Republican by
[02:41:06] Mom a lifelong Democrat but it was never
[02:41:08] a big deal because we had shared values
[02:41:11] that were bigger than any one
[02:41:14] party we just went through another
[02:41:16] fraught election season Americans made
[02:41:19] it clear that prices are too high and
[02:41:21] that the government needs to be more
[02:41:23] responsive to their needs America wants
[02:41:27] change responsible want little kid and
[02:41:31] we can make that change without
[02:41:32] forgetting who we are as a country and
[02:41:35] as a democracy so that's what I'm going
[02:41:37] to lay out tonight because whether
[02:41:40] you're from W and do or witch most
[02:41:42] Americans share Three core beliefs that
[02:41:45] the middle class is the engine of our
[02:41:47] country that strong National security
[02:41:49] protects us from harm and that our
[02:41:52] democracy no matter how messy is
[02:41:54] unparalleled and worth fighting
[02:41:57] for let's start with the economy
[02:42:00] Michigan literally invented the middle
[02:42:02] class the Revolutionary idea that you
[02:42:04] could work at an aut there's a lab I
[02:42:06] think in
[02:42:08] Minneapolis Oh that's not even migan
[02:42:10] sorry Detroit because I'm pretty sure it
[02:42:12] was like Italy and the high middle the
[02:42:15] mid of things we spend the most money on
[02:42:17] groceries housing health healthare we
[02:42:20] need to make more things in America with
[02:42:22] good paying union jobs and bring our
[02:42:24] supply chains back home from places for
[02:42:27] Trump give American businesses I have to
[02:42:30] say she's doing a very good
[02:42:31] job I actually don't understand how she
[02:42:34] is just system democat platform from
[02:42:38] adist look the president talked a big
[02:42:40] game on the economy but it's always
[02:42:42] important to read the fine print so do
[02:42:46] his plans actually help Americans get
[02:42:48] ahead not even close president Trump is
[02:42:52] trying to deliver an unprecedented
[02:42:54] giveaway to his billionaire friends he's
[02:42:56] on the hunt to find trillions of dollars
[02:42:58] to pass along to the wealthiest in
[02:43:00] America and to do that he's going to
[02:43:03] make you pay in every part of your life
[02:43:06] Grocery and home prices are going up not
[02:43:09] down and he hasn't laid out a credible
[02:43:11] plan to deal with either of those his
[02:43:13] tariffs on allies like Canada will raise
[02:43:16] prices on energy Lumber and cars and
[02:43:19] start a trade war that will hurt
[02:43:20] manufacturing and Farmers your premiums
[02:43:23] and prescriptions will cost more because
[02:43:26] the math on his proposals doesn't work
[02:43:28] without going after your Healthcare
[02:43:31] meanwhile for those keeping score the
[02:43:33] national debt is going up not down and
[02:43:36] if he's not careful he could walk us
[02:43:38] right into a
[02:43:39] recession and one more thing in order to
[02:43:42] pay for his plan he could very well come
[02:43:44] after your retirement the Social
[02:43:46] Security medic
[02:43:49] talking about taking your your savings
[02:43:51] the president claims he won't but Elon
[02:43:53] Musk just called Social Security the
[02:43:55] biggest Ponzi scheme of all time I mean
[02:43:58] fairness it is the
[02:43:59] big Elon Musk is there anyone in America
[02:44:02] who is comfortable with him and his gang
[02:44:04] of 20-year-olds using their own computer
[02:44:06] servers to poke through your tax returns
[02:44:09] your health information and your bank
[02:44:10] accounts no oversight no actually using
[02:44:13] us digital service branch of federal
[02:44:15] govern on what they do with your private
[02:44:18] data
[02:44:19] and the if it's my private data why does
[02:44:23] the government have
[02:44:24] it and and all those people what are
[02:44:26] they like 100,000 people in the treasury
[02:44:29] firing of people who work to protect our
[02:44:31] nuclear weapons keep our planes from
[02:44:33] crashing and conduct the research this
[02:44:35] is by the way what I mean by the Press
[02:44:37] right in the old days the Press would
[02:44:39] have said all this was
[02:44:41] true actually thought that maybe it was
[02:44:44] true but now so we've talked about
[02:44:46] Economic Security how about National
[02:44:48] she's quite good whoever she is think
[02:44:50] she's quite a good presenter they made a
[02:44:52] choice our they picked someone we never
[02:44:55] heard of yes that's true coming across
[02:44:57] its border a BL dog period Democrats and
[02:45:00] Republicans should all be for that but
[02:45:03] securing the Border without actually
[02:45:05] fixing our broken immigration system is
[02:45:07] dealing with the symptom and not the
[02:45:09] disease oh my Lord America is a nation
[02:45:11] of
[02:45:14] immigrants to the needs of our that's
[02:45:16] dealing with the dise symptom is all the
[02:45:18] illegals that right so I look forward to
[02:45:20] the president's plan on that because
[02:45:23] here's the thing today's world is deeply
[02:45:26] interconnected migration cyber threats
[02:45:29] AI environmental destruction terrorism
[02:45:31] until we can solve it all we can't solve
[02:45:33] any
[02:45:34] of we need friends in all corners and
[02:45:37] our safety depends on
[02:45:39] it president Trump loves to say peace
[02:45:41] through strength that's actually a line
[02:45:43] he stole from Ronald Reagan but let me
[02:45:46] tell you after the spectacle that just
[02:45:48] took place in the Oval Office last week
[02:45:50] Reagan must be rolling in his grave well
[02:45:54] here's the thing we all want an end to
[02:45:55] the war in they should have edit did
[02:45:57] this part of the strength the events in
[02:45:59] the Oval Office with zsk were very
[02:46:03] difficult to watch but in order to have
[02:46:05] a judgment about them office wasn't just
[02:46:07] a bad reality you have you have to
[02:46:09] ignore the fact that he got the deal
[02:46:11] zinski literally today send him a letter
[02:46:14] and said yeah all
[02:46:15] right as as we knew he would when we
[02:46:17] were watching cuz he had no choice I
[02:46:19] swear the Democrats told him he could go
[02:46:21] in there and you know the American
[02:46:23] people what was they'll greet greet him
[02:46:25] as a conqueror greet him as a liberator
[02:46:26] Liberator Reagan and not Trump in office
[02:46:29] in the 1980s Trump would have lost us
[02:46:31] the Cold
[02:46:32] War Donald Trump and now I'm sorry we
[02:46:36] elect him because he would have lost us
[02:46:37] he doesn't believe we're an exceptional
[02:46:39] Nation he would have lost world war he
[02:46:41] would have lost the Spanish amican
[02:46:43] War not perect but I stand with the
[02:46:45] majority of Americans I stand with the
[02:46:47] Rough Riders excep
[02:46:49] unparalleled and I would rather have
[02:46:51] American leadership over Chinese or
[02:46:53] Russian leadership any day of the week
[02:46:55] oh wow me too because for Generations
[02:46:58] America has offered something better our
[02:47:00] security and our prosperity yes but our
[02:47:03] democracy our very system of government
[02:47:05] has been the aspiration of the world we
[02:47:08] tried and right now it's at risk it's at
[02:47:11] risk when the president decides you
[02:47:12] could pick and choose what rules you
[02:47:14] want to follow when he ignores court
[02:47:16] orders and the Constitution itself or
[02:47:19] when elected leaders stand by and just
[02:47:21] let it happen but it's also at risk when
[02:47:24] the president pits Americans against
[02:47:27] each other when he demonizes those who
[02:47:29] are different and tells certain people
[02:47:31] they shouldn't be included are you
[02:47:32] doubling down on trans because is not
[02:47:35] just a patch of land between two oceans
[02:47:38] we are more than that Generations have
[02:47:40] fought and died to secure the
[02:47:42] fundamental rights that Define us those
[02:47:45] rights and the fight for them Mak us
[02:47:47] secur her career if there's an open
[02:47:49] sters Risk Takers innovators and we are
[02:47:53] never
[02:47:54] satisfied is America I'm actually
[02:47:57] somewhat impressed with her I've lived
[02:47:59] and worked in many countries I've seen
[02:48:01] democracies flicker out I've seen what
[02:48:04] life is like when a government is rigged
[02:48:06] you can't open a business without paying
[02:48:08] off a corrupt official you can't
[02:48:09] criticize the guys in charge without
[02:48:11] getting a knock at the door in the
[02:48:13] middle of the night that's what I'm
[02:48:14] announcing tonight I'm becoming a
[02:48:17] republican kind of that a ballot drop
[02:48:19] box all over un supervised widespread
[02:48:23] mail and ballots contrary to the state
[02:48:24] con need your identification to I know a
[02:48:28] lot of you have been asking that
[02:48:29] question first don't tune out it's easy
[02:48:33] to be exhausted but am all right I'm
[02:48:35] officially saying let's tune
[02:48:36] out I'm not joking mat as soon as she
[02:48:39] said we can't tune out game over I will
[02:48:43] say I have truly I'm not this is not a
[02:48:46] joke I do not know who this human is
[02:48:48] yeah but she's get the sense that she's
[02:48:49] from Michigan I think she this is maybe
[02:48:51] one of the best responses that I've ever
[02:48:52] seen consider this indictment of the
[02:48:54] Democrat Party they had to find someone
[02:48:57] who was reasonably normal yeah and they
[02:49:00] scoured I anyone we've ever heard of
[02:49:03] anyone we've ever heard of and and
[02:49:05] anyone that we might have even like Seen
[02:49:07] On TV one time and they came up with the
[02:49:10] dog catcher from Michigan or whatever I
[02:49:12] have no clue what position she her her
[02:49:14] name according to the control Booth is
[02:49:16] Alyssa slot oh it's slot she she is like
[02:49:19] a name she ran you know she she's
[02:49:21] actually she is a member of the Senate I
[02:49:23] didn't even recognize her though is she
[02:49:24] a member of the Senate yeah she I feel
[02:49:27] bad about this slot can ran I don't feel
[02:49:29] bad at all she uh because also that was
[02:49:31] a close race and that was very
[02:49:32] frustrating this cycle but you know it
[02:49:34] is it is funny because like this woman
[02:49:36] so she's relatively new that is also why
[02:49:38] people don't like recognize her she's
[02:49:40] kind of new to her job and uh they do
[02:49:42] try to pick fresh faces yeah you know
[02:49:44] they did it with Katie Brit last year
[02:49:46] for the Republicans and uh this is worst
[02:49:49] job in
[02:49:49] politics never that's why I'm that's why
[02:49:52] I'm quite impressed with I'm also it's a
[02:49:54] very moderate speech Yes it's so
[02:49:56] moderate in fact that it is actually
[02:49:58] difficult to distinguish most of what
[02:50:00] she just said from what Trump that's
[02:50:02] what I mean it's like she's she's
[02:50:03] actually attacking the Democrats
[02:50:06] policies and pretending they're the
[02:50:07] Republicans policy yeah that's exactly
[02:50:09] right yeah you know
[02:50:12] pav can you please bring in the basket a
[02:50:15] basket yeah
[02:50:19] oh my hly Holy Angel of Mercy what on
[02:50:22] Earth is that that is a lot of fruit
[02:50:25] I'll say I had to get the strongest man
[02:50:27] on this property even get that thing out
[02:50:30] there pava is it heavy
[02:50:34] yes can you imagine can you imagine I
[02:50:37] cannot imagine having to eat all of that
[02:50:40] fruit in one day what about every single
[02:50:44] day how many polish men would we go
[02:50:46] through that would be abs ABD you want
[02:50:49] to get all of that nutrition but you
[02:50:51] don't want to be sickeningly stuffed
[02:50:54] with fruit or Breaking the Bank on an
[02:50:57] absurdly large basket of healthy food or
[02:50:59] taking the time it would take to eat
[02:51:01] everything in that basket let me
[02:51:02] introduce to you balance of nature with
[02:51:06] balance of nature fruits and veggies
[02:51:08] there's never been a more convenient

[02:51:14] daily 31 fruits and veggies to be exact
[02:51:17] Drew can you eat 31 fruits and veggies
[02:51:19] every day you're damn straight I can I'm
[02:51:22] not a wimp like you but I prefer not to
[02:51:25] haha because it sounds miserable and
[02:51:27] time and it drips in my beard but I can
[02:51:30] take one of these balance of nature
[02:51:34] takes fruits and vegetables freeze dries
[02:51:36] them and turns them into powdered
[02:51:38] capsules it sounds painful but take it

[02:51:59] spice that's balanceof nature.com promo
[02:52:02] code backstage Ur because you don't
[02:52:07] take you're a weakling that's it God I
[02:52:09] Miss
[02:52:12] Shapiro that was quite a display guys so
[02:52:15] are we cutting back to uh the the trash
[02:52:17] collector from
[02:52:19] michig the
[02:52:20] mayor I'm not joking I have a monitor
[02:52:23] here and I could see the audience
[02:52:24] numbers beginning to Plum the minute you
[02:52:26] was speaking Yeah you know but it was we
[02:52:29] just we had just heard that speech it
[02:52:30] was a repeat yeah so so where is uh
[02:52:32] Shapiro and Walsh they're out drinking
[02:52:34] with the Senate difficult to difficult
[02:52:37] to get out of the house chamber but they
[02:52:39] are we do think there's some chance that
[02:52:41] they will make it back to speaker
[02:52:42] Johnson's office I I think it's possible
[02:52:45] last year I was up there I was actually
[02:52:47] sitting right behind Tennessee governor
[02:52:49] Bill Lee and Bill Lee if you're a
[02:52:51] governor it turns out you get to keep
[02:52:53] your cell phone during the State of the
[02:52:55] Union most people do not and you get a
[02:52:58] heads up uh from Secret Service before
[02:53:00] the president's about to wrap so you can
[02:53:02] get out of there before they lock you
[02:53:03] down uh so they lock you down in the uh
[02:53:07] house chamber and you just kind of sit
[02:53:09] there and shmoo with the people to your
[02:53:11] right and left what's a little weird not
[02:53:13] if you're sitting as Ben and Matt were
[02:53:16] with Riley in the speaker Gallery but
[02:53:18] when you're sitting just with the Hoy
[02:53:20] pooy with the regular you know members
[02:53:22] guests you're often sitting next to
[02:53:24] Democrats so you know some people who
[02:53:26] might be fuming about the speech or you
[02:53:29] know it's a little bit awkward but you
[02:53:30] make small talk and you know it takes
[02:53:32] something like half an hour to get out
[02:53:33] of there yeah of course now happily
[02:53:35] because you know now the Republicans are
[02:53:37] back in charge in DC I think Ben and
[02:53:39] Matt will be able to broadcast from the
[02:53:41] capital so it won't take them 5 hours to
[02:53:44] get out there and and we might be able
[02:53:45] to hear what it was like in the room but
[02:53:47] of all the state of the unions that I've
[02:53:49] watched one in person all of the rest of
[02:53:52] them on
[02:53:53] television I think that was the best one
[02:53:55] I've ever seen yeah I I have to say uh
[02:53:59] it was a bit rambling in places Trump
[02:54:03] PES can sometimes be and went longer
[02:54:06] than it needed to As Trump speeches
[02:54:07] almost always uh do he's sort of like
[02:54:10] the modern Martin Scorsese of speech
[02:54:12] makers you're like some somewhere in
[02:54:14] there there was a perfectly good 90minut
[02:54:16] the greatest master of this
[02:54:18] of Our Generation how however it was the
[02:54:21] most fun State of the Union Address I've
[02:54:24] ever seen he was there it was triumphant
[02:54:27] and you said it before he was enjoying
[02:54:29] himself you know he had some great lines
[02:54:31] too I mean what a what a mic drop moment
[02:54:33] to be able to say oh yeah and zilinski
[02:54:35] just called and wants me to make a peace
[02:54:37] de yeah with Russia that's a that's a it
[02:54:40] one week ago people were essentially
[02:54:43] saying the world order was over yeah
[02:54:45] there's going to be a unified European
[02:54:47] Army and yeah and now he's just getting
[02:54:49] exactly what he want less than one week
[02:54:51] ago Friday afternoon Friday afternoon
[02:54:53] and you know when he when he said to
[02:54:54] zinski you don't have the cards that was
[02:54:56] true you know I mean you could you knew
[02:54:58] that was true when he was saying it and
[02:55:00] and you it really nobody really asked
[02:55:02] like what was zinsky thinking you know
[02:55:04] even even if uh you know there was this
[02:55:06] idea that it had been some kind of setup
[02:55:08] that they were waiting to LY and wait
[02:55:09] for him but what did Trump have to gain
[02:55:10] from that nothing whereas zinski spent
[02:55:12] 40 minutes kind of sighing and rolling
[02:55:15] his eyes needling
[02:55:19] Trump remained very gracious to him
[02:55:22] until that moment when zalinski said you
[02:55:24] are going to feel this you don't feel it
[02:55:26] now and he was like don't tell me and I
[02:55:28] was kind of like oo you know that was
[02:55:30] that was a mistake there are a couple
[02:55:32] theories on it one is that sininsky
[02:55:34] wanted there to be a tense moment to
[02:55:36] Spur Europe to to Greater Aid because he
[02:55:39] kind of knew that Trump wanted a peace
[02:55:40] deal and if Trump negotiates a peace
[02:55:41] deal with Putin then that's going to
[02:55:43] involve concessions from Ukraine and
[02:55:45] zinski doesn't want that the other
[02:55:47] theory that was going around some of the
[02:55:48] press was that sininsky was talking to
[02:55:51] some of his friends from the past
[02:55:53] Democrat administrations many of whom
[02:55:55] have been integral in American policy in
[02:55:57] Ukraine going back to 2014 even and and
[02:56:00] that maybe they encouraged him not to
[02:56:02] play nice with Trump and so then I have
[02:56:04] this image afterward of uh you know
[02:56:07] zalinski running up to Victoria newand
[02:56:09] like I will kill you you are going to
[02:56:11] make me dead you know like what did you
[02:56:13] do to me woman you know and so clearly
[02:56:16] within 48 hours or something yeah he's
[02:56:18] back on the horn to the white house
[02:56:20] looks like they have a deal that was
[02:56:21] clearly a mistake and you know the thing
[02:56:24] is no matter if Biden had negotiated the
[02:56:26] steel if that woman who ran for I can't
[02:56:29] remember her name had neg you know oh
[02:56:31] yeah Cala something yeah I can't
[02:56:32] remember but if she had negotiated deal
[02:56:34] same thing would have happened Putin
[02:56:36] would have gotten some of the stuff that
[02:56:37] he'd already stomped on and and that
[02:56:39] would have they just would have had to
[02:56:40] settle for that there was never going to
[02:56:41] be you know the ukrainians were never
[02:56:44] marching on Moscow that was not
[02:56:46] something I find it distasteful that
[02:56:48] some on the American right now are sort
[02:56:50] are playing the uh Putin as the great
[02:56:53] defender it's absolute nonsense Vladimir
[02:56:55] Putin's the aggressor and the war he
[02:56:57] invaded a Sovereign Nation in Ukraine he
[02:57:00] has missiles pointed at us he has
[02:57:01] nuclear missiles pointed at us right now
[02:57:03] he's not our friend uh but Ukraine can't
[02:57:05] win this war right yeah that's right
[02:57:07] that can't be done the other I know
[02:57:08] we're not allowed to have any historical
[02:57:09] Nuance or anything in here but the some
[02:57:12] of the territories that we're talking
[02:57:13] about most notably Crimea have been
[02:57:16] contested for um yeah Millennia and many
[02:57:20] centuries at this point and have
[02:57:21] historically been part of Russia and
[02:57:23] have been considered very important to
[02:57:25] Russia and so like I know Americans
[02:57:27] decide they're going to become experts
[02:57:29] on every issue overnight but this is a
[02:57:31] complex issue and that was kind of
[02:57:33] Trump's point in the in the Oval Office
[02:57:35] is you know look we're going to have to
[02:57:37] come to a deal here unless you want to
[02:57:39] be like the Democrats and just have it
[02:57:40] be a Meek grinder forever with no end in
[02:57:42] sight but if you if you are going to
[02:57:44] have a deal then you need to figure out
[02:57:46] what these strategic objectives are and
[02:57:49] the interests and where is we it's also
[02:57:52] different in kind than any war that
[02:57:53] we've seen in our in our
[02:57:56] lifetime I'm not making an age joke but
[02:57:58] you actually have seen things like this
[02:58:00] Michael and I have not yeah this is a
[02:58:02] war where the Battle of
[02:58:04] lantto this is a war where the
[02:58:06] casualties are in the seven figures yeah
[02:58:09] yeah yeah you know America lost
[02:58:11] something like 5,000 troops in the
[02:58:14] totality of the war the war on terror
[02:58:17] you're talking about
[02:58:18] hundreds of thousands of ukrainians and
[02:58:21] Russians have died in the last three
[02:58:23] years in this war when we say meat
[02:58:25] grinder we're not we're not being
[02:58:26] rhetorical world it's a World War I kind
[02:58:29] of stalemate that they're just killing
[02:58:31] each other and and the other thing about
[02:58:33] it is you know you don't have to make
[02:58:35] excuses for Putin or say that it's a
[02:58:37] good thing that he invaded to understand
[02:58:40] that in these situations power matters
[02:58:42] and who is in power matters and we're
[02:58:45] not going in there we're not puttings on
[02:58:46] the ground America America and this is
[02:58:48] the other thing because the Putin
[02:58:50] apologists make of him this Larger than
[02:58:53] Life figure uh and they want to say well
[02:58:55] America couldn't beat Putin of course
[02:58:56] America could beat Putin yeah Europe
[02:58:58] could beat Putin if they set their mind
[02:59:00] to it Europe and America would destroy
[02:59:02] Putin at risk of nuclear war yeah which
[02:59:05] is why it will not happen it it will not
[02:59:09] happen because it cannot happen and and
[02:59:11] and just on a I don't think this is
[02:59:13] really cynical but on a realistic level
[02:59:15] China is the threat to America we are
[02:59:18] not under threat from Russia China is
[02:59:20] the threat China and Russia have formed
[02:59:22] an alliance this is a way of breaking
[02:59:23] that Alliance it is better for Putin to
[02:59:25] be friends with us who will not try to
[02:59:27] devour him than friends with China who
[02:59:29] will devour him last and and Putin knows
[02:59:31] that he knows when he's not looking at
[02:59:32] sh and thinking he's a great guy I look
[02:59:34] into his eyes and see his soul and you
[02:59:36] know he's going to be good to me he
[02:59:37] knows that the the price of an alliance
[02:59:39] with China is Russia ultimately and he
[02:59:42] won't have to pay that price to us and
[02:59:44] so if we separate them and we have to
[02:59:46] make a little bit nice to him you know
[02:59:47] it's distasteful I I think it is
[02:59:49] distasteful but it may just be necessary
[02:59:52] we have to be ready for China and that's
[02:59:53] the one thing I think is in Trump's mind
[02:59:55] in a way that it's not in the minds of
[02:59:57] our intelligence community and I don't
[02:59:59] know why it's not but it's not maybe
[03:00:01] because the head of our intelligence is
[03:00:02] name
[03:00:03] H I don't
[03:00:05] know the one thing that I found
[03:00:07] disappointing in the foreign policy part
[03:00:09] of the president's speech is that he
[03:00:10] didn't talk about uh the new
[03:00:13] trumpistan uh colony in what was
[03:00:16] formerly the Gaza Street wanted at least
[03:00:18] three paragraphs
[03:00:20] maraza magaza magaza International Hotel
[03:00:24] and Casino you know part of that when
[03:00:26] when that announcement came out everyone
[03:00:28] lost their minds as is often the case
[03:00:30] when President Trump makes big
[03:00:31] declarations and some people still
[03:00:34] haven't learned it 10 years into this
[03:00:36] thing but you know when Trump throws
[03:00:38] something out there he is often
[03:00:41] negotiating or speaking past the sale to
[03:00:43] use Scott Adams's phrase and uh so in
[03:00:45] this case why didn't he bring it up
[03:00:47] because
[03:00:48] he well just look at the news today of
[03:00:50] the Arab states coming in and saying no
[03:00:52] no no hold on wait a second we don't
[03:00:53] want you maybe we'll be involved in this
[03:00:55] and maybe that sort of thing is what
[03:00:56] Trump was actually after obviously he
[03:00:58] was and he was also after putting paid
[03:01:01] uh to the two-state solution which is
[03:01:03] the dumbest idea that people have clung
[03:01:05] to for decades you know it's like one
[03:01:08] state called Israel another state that
[03:01:09] wants to kill Israel it would be
[03:01:11] perfect and I think I think he just
[03:01:13] avoided that for exactly for what you
[03:01:15] said he had negotiated them into a
[03:01:17] position which we said at the beginning
[03:01:20] where he would be able to say to them
[03:01:21] okay what's your idea you don't want me
[03:01:22] to build my hotel in Gaza what's your
[03:01:24] idea and now they're because they they
[03:01:25] were in sort of a stalemate of these two
[03:01:27] Notions and no one was moving and then
[03:01:29] uh Trump just came in and dropped this
[03:01:32] wild idea and everyone sort of just
[03:01:34] stopped and said wait what wait hold on
[03:01:35] B Netanyahu and he hold on yeah did I
[03:01:39] catch that right uh we didn't talk about
[03:01:41] this I mean I was a little surprised he
[03:01:43] didn't mention it only because as we
[03:01:45] knew they would the uh Hamas is
[03:01:48] violating you know not going forward
[03:01:49] with the ceasefire and has not returned
[03:01:51] all the hostages and I assume Israel is
[03:01:53] going to go back in there and kick some
[03:01:55] ass and I think that uh he probably
[03:01:57] didn't want to seem to have incited it
[03:01:59] you know right yeah though he's going to
[03:02:00] support it I suspect he's going to
[03:02:02] support it and it is at this point it's
[03:02:04] a fat to complete of course Israel is
[03:02:06] going back into the Gaza Strip I thought
[03:02:07] it was you know it's funny on the uh on
[03:02:09] at the at the inaugural ball that we
[03:02:12] were at they interviewed me on the red
[03:02:13] carpet and they asked me what I thought
[03:02:14] of the deal and I said well the deal is
[03:02:16] terrible but we know Hamas is going to
[03:02:17] Break It We Know That Trump is going to
[03:02:19] support them when they go back in that
[03:02:20] was kind of kind of the setup of the
[03:02:22] deal that it was always going to come to
[03:02:23] this you know but he got the win that he
[03:02:25] needed you know so he could he didn't
[03:02:28] stand in the way of of a ceasefire which
[03:02:30] would have been bad for him and it would
[03:02:32] have been bad for everybody but it's now
[03:02:33] going to support also in terms of
[03:02:35] foreign policy he presented tariffs in a
[03:02:37] way that was digestible in common sense
[03:02:41] to people first of all I mean I've been
[03:02:43] advocating throughout the campaign that
[03:02:45] really the key phrase here has got to be
[03:02:47] common sense sense that's I mean and I'm
[03:02:49] I'm not the first to notice it goes back
[03:02:51] to Antonio gromi and many other
[03:02:53] political thinkers but you know he he
[03:02:55] held on to that and so when when we're
[03:02:57] talking about free trade or tariff
[03:02:59] Theory or these kind of complex economic
[03:03:02] uh Concepts it's a little difficult for
[03:03:04] any even someone who's studied economics
[03:03:06] to really grasp what he's talking about
[03:03:08] and so when he says look uh you guys
[03:03:11] charge us a lot of money for our
[03:03:13] products but you expect us not to charge
[03:03:16] you a lot of money when youing your
[03:03:18] products into our Market which is much
[03:03:19] more valuable that's not going to happen
[03:03:21] we're going to have tariff parody okay
[03:03:23] and if we get into a trade War I promise
[03:03:26] you we're going to win yeah that is
[03:03:27] really clear Common Sense thinking that
[03:03:30] doesn't require a degree in economics I
[03:03:31] have to say I I am maybe the only person
[03:03:33] in America who does not know what the
[03:03:35] result of the tariffs will be and will
[03:03:36] openly admit it but that did make sense
[03:03:38] to me you know I mean I thought like
[03:03:39] that I thought it was a sensible enough
[03:03:43] rhetorical argument for something that I
[03:03:44] think is somewhat nonsensical in
[03:03:46] practice I'm completely against the
[03:03:48] tariffs I think using tariffs as a form
[03:03:50] of Leverage to get us better trade deals
[03:03:53] than we might otherwise have which we've
[03:03:54] seen president Trump do in the past is a
[03:03:56] perfectly good thing to do but free
[03:03:58] trade has been very good for America and
[03:04:00] the dollar being uh uh the standard
[03:04:03] currency basically of all global trade
[03:04:05] that's been good for us it is very very
[03:04:08] good for us and that's a thing that you
[03:04:09] do not want to lose and that you put at
[03:04:11] risk but globalist trade has not been so
[03:04:14] good for us you know not good for
[03:04:15] everyone yeah the the idea that the
[03:04:17] center of the country is going to be
[03:04:19] gutted of jobs but your iPhone is going
[03:04:21] to cost less because it's made by slave
[03:04:23] labor has not really worked out for us
[03:04:24] you know he he's he's right remember
[03:04:26] this is why his first inaugural speech
[03:04:28] was called Dark because he talked about
[03:04:29] American Carnage I was out there during
[03:04:32] the Biden Administration and all the
[03:04:34] boarded shops and all the people out of
[03:04:35] work and all the closed factories it was
[03:04:37] heartbreaking and I and I think he was
[03:04:39] right about that so if he he can bring
[03:04:41] America back to the place where we
[03:04:43] support American goods and still can
[03:04:45] have free trade I mean that would be
[03:04:47] better the global D stray that we were
[03:04:49] dealing with well I think that if we're
[03:04:50] going to talk about things that none of
[03:04:52] us understand we should bring someone on
[03:04:53] who does understand some of them and
[03:04:54] that is Matt
[03:04:56] Walsh and also Ben Shapiro uh you guys
[03:04:59] are at the capital what was the energy
[03:05:01] like in the room I mean it was pretty
[03:05:02] outstanding from where we were sitting
[03:05:04] well I mean right now we're just
[03:05:05] wondering why we're here because I mean
[03:05:06] well we're exhausted I mean it's been a
[03:05:08] very very long evening and you my
[03:05:11] annoyance is you sent the two most
[03:05:13] easily annoyed people in America to this
[03:05:17] and and uh and and now you're bringing
[03:05:19] us back and it's
[03:05:21] 11:35 at night so I have not I have not
[03:05:24] clapped in I have not clapped that much
[03:05:26] like in total in my entire life as I did
[03:05:29] in in the room so it's a it's a lot of
[03:05:31] clapping I will say that um that I
[03:05:34] thought it was a a great speech and I I
[03:05:36] thought but for me unfortunately being
[03:05:37] in the room uh even though it was a
[03:05:40] really good speech the the big takeaway
[03:05:42] is just the Democrats and I'm sure you
[03:05:44] guys have covered it but the the the the
[03:05:47] perform performance by the Democrats I
[03:05:48] thought was just disgraceful and
[03:05:51] ridiculous and being in the room I mean
[03:05:53] I I don't know how much you pick up on
[03:05:54] camera I'm sure the one guy standing up
[03:05:56] and refusing to leave that that
[03:05:57] certainly made it in but the the just
[03:06:00] constant comments the the little stunts
[03:06:02] they're they're looking down at their
[03:06:04] phone there you know I had a woman who
[03:06:06] was right in front of me down below who
[03:06:07] was like taking angry selfies of herself
[03:06:09] and texting them to her friend I I could
[03:06:11] see that happening uh so this is this is
[03:06:13] what the the lawmakers were busy doing
[03:06:15] Matt did photom any of the selfies for
[03:06:17] this Democrat Woman's friend she like I
[03:06:19] I think I got I I did I I I got in one
[03:06:22] of them I got in in one of her that she
[03:06:24] sent to a friend but uh but I to to me
[03:06:26] the the the the thing that kind of tells
[03:06:29] you everything you need to know is that
[03:06:31] the Democrats sat on their hands and did
[03:06:33] not clap anything they didn't you know
[03:06:35] they didn't clap a child cancer survivor
[03:06:37] they didn't clap planting a a flag on on
[03:06:40] Mars they didn't clap you know
[03:06:42] protecting Americans from crime killing
[03:06:44] terrorists and all of that the only
[03:06:46] thing they clap for the only thing that
[03:06:48] they clapped for was Ukraine uh that was
[03:06:50] the one single Applause line from the
[03:06:53] Democrats and I think that that sort of
[03:06:55] tells you everything you need to know
[03:06:56] about the Democrat Party which is just
[03:06:58] nothing but a they didn't even clap for
[03:06:59] their own vote there was one point where
[03:07:01] Trump thanked them for voting for Marco
[03:07:02] ruo for Secretary of State they didn't
[03:07:03] clap for that I mean it really was an an
[03:07:05] impressive show and they kind of were
[03:07:06] gradually walking out like you could see
[03:07:09] Bernie Sanders maybe 15 20 minutes
[03:07:11] before the end he gets up and he walks
[03:07:12] out you can see a bunch of the
[03:07:14] democratic Congress people starting to
[03:07:15] file out kind of slowly during during
[03:07:17] the the actual event you know president
[03:07:20] Trump's energy was was really good I
[03:07:21] mean pres president Trump is happy to be
[03:07:23] there he's in a very good mood obviously
[03:07:25] Republicans love him they were they were
[03:07:27] really pumped they're really ready to go
[03:07:29] a lot of enthusiasm and I got to tell
[03:07:31] you the Democrats felt dead they felt
[03:07:33] dead I me it felt like the a had been
[03:07:34] sucked out of their side of the room not
[03:07:35] just because they were depressed because
[03:07:36] they lost but also because there's just
[03:07:37] no juice to the resistance anymore it
[03:07:39] feels as though they they have kind of
[03:07:41] lost their their points of opposition
[03:07:43] and so they're kind of sitting there in
[03:07:44] in weirdly disperate fashion with signs
[03:07:48] that read different things and they're
[03:07:49] holding them up and and we're supposed
[03:07:51] to take away from that that they're
[03:07:52] they're unified the only points of unity
[03:07:54] they seem to be able to find in
[03:07:55] opposition to president Trump or at one
[03:07:57] point they tried to start a chance of
[03:07:58] January 6 which is so played out as to
[03:08:00] be meaningless go and then again when
[03:08:02] when they applauded Ukraine which which
[03:08:04] again was less about their love of
[03:08:06] Ukraine and much more about their belief
[03:08:07] that President Trump is a castp of
[03:08:09] Vladimir Putin so as far as the speech
[03:08:11] itself you I think that it it was very
[03:08:13] clear that President Trump was focusing
[03:08:15] in on to really really big themes aside
[03:08:18] from the tariffs which I heard you guys
[03:08:20] talking about the two big themes that he
[03:08:22] kept coming back to and he actually did
[03:08:23] come back to them multiple times he
[03:08:24] actually would go away from them and
[03:08:25] then come back to them again illegal
[03:08:27] immigration he beat the border to death
[03:08:28] tonight and I I think that that was
[03:08:30] actually a really smart strategy because
[03:08:31] it is the greatest single success of his
[03:08:34] administration so far I mean we were
[03:08:35] talking to Tom Homan earlier the stats
[03:08:37] that he was citing are extraordinary and
[03:08:39] and when President Trump brought that up
[03:08:41] and talked repeatedly about the damage
[03:08:42] that criminal illegal immigrants have
[03:08:44] done in the country and he kept going
[03:08:45] back to that that is a huge uge issue it
[03:08:47] is is an entire country moving issue and
[03:08:50] then the other big issue was of course
[03:08:51] one that is all near and dear to our
[03:08:52] hearts I mean obviously we all care
[03:08:53] about illegal immigration but the one
[03:08:55] that maybe the daily wire has taken the
[03:08:56] lead on as a company more than any other
[03:08:57] company in America is the trans issue
[03:08:59] president Trump spoke about it he left
[03:09:01] it he came back to it he came back to it
[03:09:04] repeatedly and we had the pleasure Matt
[03:09:06] and I of sitting next to Riley Gaines
[03:09:07] who of course has also been a big sort
[03:09:09] of character in in pushing forward the
[03:09:11] the notion that traditional sex actually
[03:09:14] is the metric for for how we measure
[03:09:15] human beings in terms of for example
[03:09:17] Sports and the the energy in the room
[03:09:20] for those two issues was extremely high
[03:09:22] he he gave what I thought was properly
[03:09:23] short shifted foreign policy actually
[03:09:25] because he is domestic policy president
[03:09:27] he said we're going to strengthen the
[03:09:28] military we're going to we're going to
[03:09:30] rebuild our shipping we're going to
[03:09:31] build golden dome right which is a take
[03:09:33] on Iron Dome even though Iron Dome you
[03:09:35] know for the record is actually a system
[03:09:37] for shooting down short- range rockets
[03:09:38] and golden dome would be prably a large
[03:09:40] missile defense system designed for
[03:09:41] shooting down say supersonic uh sort of
[03:09:44] low low altitude Chinese missiles uh you
[03:09:48] but you know same difference he kind of
[03:09:50] talked about that but it was all
[03:09:51] domestically focused and I think that's
[03:09:52] totally appropriate for a president who
[03:09:54] is in fact domestically focused and I
[03:09:56] know you guys were talking about the
[03:09:57] tariffs you know it's interesting to see
[03:09:59] how he's playing the tariffs and it'll
[03:10:00] be interesting to see how they
[03:10:01] materialize the big question going
[03:10:02] forward I think for both the economy and
[03:10:04] for president Trump is whether the key
[03:10:06] word in the phrase reciprocal tariff is
[03:10:08] reciprocal or tariff yeah so if the key
[03:10:11] word there is reciprocal I think that
[03:10:13] you know what he's going to do is what
[03:10:14] Jeremy you were talking about leverage
[03:10:16] other countries to lower their own
[03:10:18] tariffs in order so that we can get our
[03:10:19] tariffs lower and then more free trade
[03:10:21] for everyone yay hoay um if if the key
[03:10:23] word there is tariff and not reciprocal
[03:10:25] meaning what he actually just likes are
[03:10:27] the
[03:10:28] tariffs economic theory and history tell
[03:10:30] that that is a a that is a dicey
[03:10:32] proposition you can see the effects on
[03:10:34] the stock market almost immediately
[03:10:36] right we've seen it over the course of
[03:10:37] the last couple of days alone when Dow
[03:10:39] Jones Industrial Average dropped 1500
[03:10:40] points so you again that is a that is a
[03:10:43] dicey game that he is that he's playing
[03:10:45] right there if he's fighting inflation
[03:10:47] large scale tariffs tend not to lower
[03:10:49] inflation they tend to increase you know
[03:10:50] sort of prices of goods and services
[03:10:52] because you're limiting Supply while
[03:10:54] leaving demand exactly the same which
[03:10:55] obviously increases prices and then the
[03:10:58] question is just going to be whether it
[03:10:59] is a leverage play or whether it is a
[03:11:00] principal play that he sort of likes
[03:11:02] tariffs and has a vision of the world in
[03:11:03] which everyone reshes to the United
[03:11:05] States and we export but we don't import
[03:11:08] which you know again I think that that
[03:11:10] is likely to result in some pretty dire
[03:11:12] economic side effects well this is this
[03:11:13] is to me the most interesting question
[03:11:16] because the guy is a good poker player
[03:11:18] and it's hard to read it you know on the
[03:11:20] one hand there are people though I know
[03:11:22] it's unpop unfashionable in our day and
[03:11:24] age but there are people who make a
[03:11:26] serious principled economic argument for
[03:11:29] tariffs and there's a long history of
[03:11:30] tariffs in the Republican party going
[03:11:32] back to Abraham Lincoln who said Give me
[03:11:33] a tariff I'll give you the greatest
[03:11:34] country on earth now that obviously fell
[03:11:36] out of favor in the middle to the latter
[03:11:37] part of the 20th century but there is a
[03:11:39] world in which and Trump has been I
[03:11:41] think advancing this view that he really
[03:11:44] believes as a matter of principle in
[03:11:46] tariffs and many of his economic
[03:11:48] advisers do as well however Trump is a
[03:11:51] dealmaker he has promoted free trade
[03:11:54] Global free trade for you know many
[03:11:56] years of his career and so there is also
[03:11:59] a view that he's kind of bluffing but
[03:12:02] the thing is if he's bluffing he's doing
[03:12:05] so in an extraordinarily persuasive way
[03:12:08] which is his great strength on the
[03:12:10] global stage is his unpredictability so
[03:12:13] if you are an adversary of the United
[03:12:15] States or a trading partner of the
[03:12:16] United States that's kind of maybe
[03:12:17] ripping us off a little bit and you're
[03:12:19] trying to read Trump right now at
[03:12:22] least 10 to 20% of you has to think the
[03:12:26] guy might just love tariffs and I better
[03:12:28] play my cards real cautiously yeah and
[03:12:31] and it is it does I I don't know I'm a
[03:12:33] simple man when you tell me that they're
[03:12:34] putting a 275% tariff on milk going out
[03:12:38] but we can't put anything going on I
[03:12:39] think well why not I don't understand
[03:12:41] why we can't play it's all part of
[03:12:42] Trump's we're not your daddy strategy
[03:12:44] you know like we are not here to just
[03:12:47] support the world and we have been
[03:12:48] treated like that especially by Europe
[03:12:50] but we have been treated like that by
[03:12:51] the country we're supposed to show up
[03:12:53] but they don't have to show up for us
[03:12:54] and Trump's you know may be garish it
[03:12:56] may be a little borish to say what
[03:12:58] where's what's in it for us all the time
[03:13:00] but what is in it for us we are a
[03:13:01] Sovereign Nation I think what's in for
[03:13:04] us is actually is a pretty good pitch
[03:13:05] what's in it for us is a pretty good
[03:13:06] pitch I think the thing that we do have
[03:13:08] to remember however is that we are also
[03:13:11] there is there is something in it for us
[03:13:13] which is namely that our gigantic
[03:13:14] national debt is actually funded by
[03:13:16] other countries who are buying our bonds
[03:13:19] I mean so it turns out that actually
[03:13:21] there there are two sides to the story
[03:13:22] it's not just the United States funding
[03:13:23] everybody else the reality is that
[03:13:24] everybody else is also funding Us by
[03:13:26] holding the dollar as the global Reserve
[03:13:27] currency and then holding bonds that
[03:13:29] they can easily transfer into dollars so
[03:13:31] again economics is a bit of a sensitive
[03:13:32] game and you know the the the one thing
[03:13:35] and this is the thing that I really fear
[03:13:37] for for president Trump's Administration
[03:13:39] the one thing that can send things South
[03:13:41] because the Democrats are so gone
[03:13:42] they're so gone I mean that's what you
[03:13:43] can see in the room they have lost it
[03:13:45] they've lost it when it comes to the the
[03:13:47] trans issue they've completely lost it
[03:13:49] when it comes to Illegal immigration
[03:13:50] they've completely lost it they're just
[03:13:51] so far from Common Sense the one thing
[03:13:53] that could really hurt Trump is an
[03:13:54] economic downturn it's the one thing he
[03:13:56] cannot afford no president can afford it
[03:13:58] president Trump more than most because
[03:13:59] he's seen as a pro correctly as a pro
[03:14:01] bus president and so anything that can
[03:14:03] be done to avoid an economic downturn is
[03:14:05] the thing that he really has to do the
[03:14:06] good news about Trump I think is that
[03:14:08] even if he loves tariffs like adores
[03:14:09] them president Trump also even more than
[03:14:12] that likes good headlines and does not
[03:14:13] like bad headlines and so if the economy
[03:14:15] starts to go south
[03:14:17] this is one area where president Trump
[03:14:18] will stick and move though again even on
[03:14:20] that point Trump seems to in recent
[03:14:23] weeks and even in that speech tonight be
[03:14:25] preparing the American people for some
[03:14:28] potential short-term economic challenge
[03:14:30] he says look it's going to be a little
[03:14:32] tough in the shortterm but so again I I
[03:14:35] I don't exactly know how to read it
[03:14:37] because that might just be him bluffing
[03:14:41] really well to say no I am really
[03:14:42] serious about you I understand I don't
[03:14:44] know that Donald Trump
[03:14:46] Bluffs I think that Donald Trump changes
[03:14:49] I don't think that Donald Trump is
[03:14:51] fundamentally ideological he he
[03:14:53] fundamentally wants to make a deal and
[03:14:55] so I I think that one of the reasons
[03:14:57] that he is so
[03:14:58] unpredictable uh is because everyone
[03:15:01] assumes that there is some other motive
[03:15:04] at play when in fact it may just be as
[03:15:06] simple as the thing's unfair I'm going
[03:15:08] to put tariffs on it and if somebody
[03:15:10] comes back to me and there's a better
[03:15:12] deal to be made in the future where I
[03:15:14] take the tariffs off because something
[03:15:15] Good's happening then that'll be the
[03:15:16] thing that I'm for I don't know that
[03:15:18] he's I don't know that Trump is
[03:15:20] sophisticated and I don't say that as a
[03:15:22] knock on Trump I'm actually saying it
[03:15:24] kind of as a good thing like I just
[03:15:26] don't think that he is yeah I don't
[03:15:27] think that he is that I don't know I
[03:15:29] think he he has this way of looking at
[03:15:30] things in a in a general way that seems
[03:15:33] it seems unsophisticated but is not he
[03:15:36] can't have won as often as he's won with
[03:15:38] and be unsophisticated I think what he
[03:15:40] does is he thinks differently he thinks
[03:15:42] in a Gestalt style that everybody calls
[03:15:44] gut politics but it's really a way of
[03:15:46] seeing the world in in total and
[03:15:49] sometimes I I do believe that sometimes
[03:15:50] even he hasn't got his whole strategy
[03:15:52] worked out look there are going to be
[03:15:54] some bad headlines you cannot bring down
[03:15:56] inflation without increasing
[03:15:57] unemployment there are going to be bad
[03:15:58] headlines and I noticed nobody's talking
[03:16:00] about unemployment because it always
[03:16:02] goes up when inflation goes down and and
[03:16:04] so no one is talking about it so they're
[03:16:06] waiting lying in waight so that when it
[03:16:07] goes up they can hit him with it he's
[03:16:09] going to have some bad headlines happen
[03:16:10] to Reagan when he brought down inflation
[03:16:13] uh the unemployment went up and it cost
[03:16:14] him his majorities in the in the
[03:16:17] legislature but but still I I do think
[03:16:19] he has an idea of what he's doing and I
[03:16:21] do think I don't think he Bluffs I think
[03:16:23] he makes a deal and takes an extreme
[03:16:26] position knowing that's not where he's
[03:16:27] goingon to end right right right yeah I
[03:16:30] I I think and I I agree with that I I
[03:16:32] don't see this is a bluff at all I mean
[03:16:33] it might change that might might be the
[03:16:35] case that it changes I certainly don't
[03:16:36] think that it's a bluff because I mean I
[03:16:38] agree with Drew though I think Trump
[03:16:40] trump thinks in a his great appeal is
[03:16:42] that he thinks in a very simple way
[03:16:43] which is not to say simplistic but I I
[03:16:45] say simple I consider myself to be a
[03:16:47] simple guy in a lot of ways uh which is
[03:16:49] just you look at an issue like this well
[03:16:52] why should they slap us with higher
[03:16:53] tariffs than we put on them I mean you
[03:16:55] did it to us why shouldn't we do it to
[03:16:57] you it's a pretty it's the same thing
[03:16:58] with seninsky visits the White House and
[03:17:00] the and it's it's like hey uh we we gave
[03:17:03] you all of this and so if we're going to
[03:17:05] give you this then we expect something
[03:17:06] in return uh it's it's you know in that
[03:17:09] case it's it's kind of similar to the
[03:17:11] you know I say to my kids all the time
[03:17:14] you're in my house you you you know you
[03:17:16] uh you know you're under my roof it's my
[03:17:18] food you're going to you're going to
[03:17:19] play by my rules every father says I
[03:17:21] gave you Javelin missiles you're going
[03:17:23] to listen to me right exactly I say that
[03:17:25] I say that to my kids all the time I
[03:17:26] give you all the weapons so you're going
[03:17:27] to play one my rules uh so and and I
[03:17:30] think most most people hear that and
[03:17:32] think yeah well it it kind of makes
[03:17:33] sense like why not and that's uh that's
[03:17:36] the way that I I look at it by the way
[03:17:38] credit to zalinsky for recognizing that
[03:17:41] he really really needed to put out a
[03:17:42] statement before this speech yeah I mean
[03:17:44] seriously like zalinsky blew that
[03:17:46] meeting on Friday in a massive massive
[03:17:48] way I I went through on my show like the
[03:17:50] entire details of that meeting like went
[03:17:52] through all 50 minutes of that
[03:17:53] particular meeting and zilinsky really
[03:17:55] blew it and then he continued to blow it
[03:17:56] and then today he came back and he said
[03:17:58] the thing he was supposed to say which
[03:17:59] is we're very very grateful for all the
[03:18:01] support ready to sign a r mineral deal
[03:18:03] we're trying to get to the end of this
[03:18:04] war and so tonight instead of President
[03:18:07] Trump spending half the speech
[03:18:07] shellacking zinsky in Ukraine instead
[03:18:10] president Trump did what he does which
[03:18:11] is he pocketed the Victory and and again
[03:18:13] this goes I think we're all saying very
[03:18:14] similar things here I don't think that
[03:18:17] that President Trump when it comes to
[03:18:18] these policies is is sitting there
[03:18:20] thinking okay if I make if if I move my
[03:18:22] Rook here they're going to move their
[03:18:23] Knight here and then if they move their
[03:18:24] night here I'm G to move my Bish up here
[03:18:26] Checkmate like that's not how president
[03:18:27] Trump thinks the way that he thinks is
[03:18:29] much more like I'm gonna do this thing
[03:18:31] and if you responding the way that I
[03:18:32] want then we can make a deal and if you
[03:18:34] respond the way I don't want I'm G to
[03:18:35] hit you and you know what most policy
[03:18:38] can actually get done fairly well that
[03:18:41] way I I I will say I did enjoy the break
[03:18:43] with tradition that was pretty evident
[03:18:45] from the beginning of the speech I think
[03:18:46] this what he meant when he said remember
[03:18:47] he had he put this truth social in all
[03:18:49] caps I'm going to speak plainly tonight
[03:18:51] and everybody's like I don't know what
[03:18:52] that means like when has he ever not
[03:18:53] spoken plainly when where is the
[03:18:55] subtlety my man but it's but you know I
[03:18:58] think what he meant I'm going to speak
[03:18:59] plainly what he meant was I'm just gonna
[03:19:01] if I feel like banging on the Democrats
[03:19:03] I'm just going to bang on the Democrats
[03:19:04] when he started off right at I mean it's
[03:19:05] hysterically funny when he started off
[03:19:07] right near the top and he's like listen
[03:19:08] I've been doing this for five years five
[03:19:10] years I five times I've come to you they
[03:19:12] never clapped once I don't even care
[03:19:14] anymore like I'm sorry it's really funny
[03:19:17] and it cuts through the of the
[03:19:19] entire sort of evening which is you know
[03:19:21] propped up as the sort of almost po
[03:19:24] Imperial event I I've spoken on the
[03:19:27] program a thousand times about how much
[03:19:28] I I generally hate State of the Union
[03:19:30] addresses I will say it was kind of
[03:19:31] funny because it felt like kind of a
[03:19:32] post State of the Union State of the
[03:19:34] Union I'll gother kind of like I don't
[03:19:37] think that it was just funny although it
[03:19:39] was certainly funny I don't think it was
[03:19:41] just plain speak and shellacking the
[03:19:42] Democrats although it was certainly that
[03:19:44] it was also a perfect trap that he put
[03:19:46] them in because once he said they cannot
[03:19:50] clap for me no matter what he took all
[03:19:52] the tools that they had I mean this is
[03:19:54] the reason all their Shenanigans
[03:19:55] basically fizzled out in the first three
[03:19:57] minutes cuz what was left once he had
[03:19:59] already established here's how the
[03:20:01] game's going to get played when he
[03:20:03] promoted no tax on tips a policy that
[03:20:06] the Democrats stole from him and
[03:20:08] campaigned on right and they couldn't
[03:20:10] even applaud for it they looked
[03:20:12] absolutely ridiculous had he not made
[03:20:14] that those remarks at the beginning of
[03:20:16] the speech they would have clapped for
[03:20:18] the 13y old boy by the way that I agree
[03:20:21] that Trump has a good gut and everything
[03:20:22] like that but I do think he also has
[03:20:25] strategic sophistication maybe that's
[03:20:26] one area where I disagree that was
[03:20:28] clearly a trap and and and it worked
[03:20:31] very well yeah and I I don't mean that
[03:20:32] he doesn't have strategy but it's not
[03:20:34] the same kind of strategy but I can't
[03:20:36] remember which one of you guys said it
[03:20:37] but he's he's not talking about a chess
[03:20:38] game he's more talking about a kind of
[03:20:40] like I said a gastal an atmosphere that
[03:20:42] he knows how to move through and he does
[03:20:44] it really expertly you know
[03:20:48] well fell he's also really
[03:20:50] funny he's just hilarious in the room it
[03:20:53] was in the room it was very funny there
[03:20:54] there were lot of things that we were
[03:20:55] chuckling at in the room for sure yeah
[03:20:57] I'll say that this was my first time
[03:20:58] I've been in a room for actually in the
[03:21:00] room for a trump speech uh and uh and
[03:21:03] you you know I knew he was a really
[03:21:04] funny guy but that's one thing you
[03:21:06] appreciate when you're in the room it's
[03:21:07] just kind of the energy of it and sort
[03:21:08] of the aside comments and uh I don't
[03:21:11] know being in the room you you kind of
[03:21:13] little hand motions yeah at the very
[03:21:14] beginning they're clapping for him and
[03:21:15] he actually did the
[03:21:17] Dance I mean could I don't know if you
[03:21:19] guys see that on camera he actually did
[03:21:21] when they when they were doing the when
[03:21:22] they were giving like the big Ovation I
[03:21:23] know if they're paning in the crowd he
[03:21:24] literally stepped to the side of the
[03:21:26] podium and did the this thing yeah I I
[03:21:29] noticed it it was really funny like
[03:21:31] really funny at the MSG rally right
[03:21:34] before the election I noticed it the
[03:21:35] first time I'd seen him uh in in person
[03:21:37] I think ever certainly that close but I
[03:21:39] think maybe in person and he gets up on
[03:21:41] stage and I realized oh I get it now
[03:21:44] he's Elvis that that's his thing he's
[03:21:46] actually Elvis that's what he it's not
[03:21:48] that he's Reagan it's not that he's Bush
[03:21:50] he's he's Elvis and there was speaking
[03:21:53] of these great little moments and these
[03:21:54] great little asides there's one that no
[03:21:56] one is talking about but it killed me
[03:21:58] which is that Trump was talking about
[03:22:00] illegal immigration and he goes and
[03:22:02] these people you know coming over
[03:22:05] murderers human traffickers and then he
[03:22:08] just points to the Democrats in the room
[03:22:10] like these murderers human traffic and I
[03:22:13] well you know Shoe Fits man
[03:22:17] truly the most entertaining State of the
[03:22:19] Union that I've ever seen and you know I
[03:22:23] I had a kind of sadness watching it
[03:22:25] because Donald Trump's not a young man
[03:22:28] like this we are we are in the end of
[03:22:31] whatever this is and you know four years
[03:22:33] is a long time we get to we get to enjoy
[03:22:34] the ending of it eight years with a
[03:22:36] third term
[03:22:38] yeah thank you but it was the first time
[03:22:41] that I felt the kind of nostalgia for
[03:22:43] Donald Trump and I was feeling it while
[03:22:44] he's still president because we will
[03:22:46] never see anything like no no no yeah
[03:22:49] it's it's going to be well it's going to
[03:22:51] be the the last great administration of
[03:22:52] my life time but it may be the last
[03:22:54] great administration of your life done
[03:22:55] too because they don't come along though
[03:22:57] I am hopeful for the the reign of Baron
[03:22:59] Octavian Augustus Trump and I don't know
[03:23:01] if it'll be exactly like this but but
[03:23:03] you know Augustus was actually better
[03:23:05] than Julius in many ways so we'll
[03:23:07] see fellas I know it's late in DC and
[03:23:10] you have shows to do tomorrow thanks for
[03:23:11] hanging out with us thanks for coming
[03:23:13] back uh after fighting your way through
[03:23:15] whatever mob there was and signing
[03:23:17] autographs for congress people and
[03:23:20] bobert I know there's just all kinds of
[03:23:22] weirdness that you guys had to had to

[03:23:38] and that is that Ben is leading this
[03:23:40] crusade to get president Trump to
[03:23:41] consider pardoning Derek chovin of the
[03:23:44] federal uh charges yeah um
[03:23:47] that he was convicted of won't mean that
[03:23:49] he gets out of jail will mean that he
[03:23:50] has to go to a state prison but it will
[03:23:52] still be the beginning of correcting
[03:23:54] this horrible Injustice and we have a
[03:23:56] petition at pardon der.com we'd love for
[03:23:58] you to sign it as we're letting
[03:23:59] president Trump know that this is still
[03:24:01] an important issue that needs he's given
[03:24:03] all these great pardons already in his
[03:24:05] time as president but there is like one
[03:24:07] guy has obviously still been left on the
[03:24:09] field and that's Derek Chauvin so head
