[00:00:00] Senator Josh Holly joins me now. All [00:00:02] right, Senator, you're a a master [00:00:04] political strategist, at least in [00:00:06] Missouri. Uh, if you had control over [00:00:08] the country nationally, how would you [00:00:11] run the midterms as a Republican? [00:00:16] >> Well, hey, all you have to do is run on [00:00:17] the Trump record. Look at what Donald [00:00:19] Trump is doing. And you go out there and [00:00:21] you campaign on that. He is making it [00:00:22] affordable again for working people in [00:00:24] this country. He wants to cap credit [00:00:25] card interest rates. He wants to prevent [00:00:27] Wall Street from buying up all of the [00:00:29] homes, the family homes in this country. [00:00:31] That's tremendous. He wants to cut taxes [00:00:34] further for working people. I mean, it's [00:00:35] a great record. His proposals are [00:00:37] outstanding. The Republican Congress [00:00:40] just needs to pass his agenda. Keep [00:00:41] doing it. Keep it going. Get it done. If [00:00:44] we do that, we'll be in great shape. [00:00:45] >> All right. So, a lot of this stuff was [00:00:46] passed out of the big beautiful bill in [00:00:48] terms of taxes. You're naming a lot of [00:00:50] the populist stuff that he's pushed, but [00:00:52] it hasn't been nailed down in [00:00:54] legislation. Why haven't the Republicans [00:00:56] done that? [00:00:59] >> Hey, that is a great question, Jesse, [00:01:00] and it needs to get done. I mean, the [00:01:02] things I just said that the president [00:01:03] has campaigned on, he said, "Let's cap [00:01:05] those credit card interest rates. We [00:01:06] should do it." He said, "Let's cap the [00:01:08] price of prescription drugs." He's been [00:01:10] out there working and doing that on his [00:01:11] own. Congress needs to do its job. It [00:01:13] needs to get in there and put that into [00:01:15] law. Cap those prices. We need to do [00:01:18] more when it comes to stopping Wall [00:01:19] Street from buying single family homes. [00:01:21] Again, the president's doing it. [00:01:22] Congress needs to come in, make it law, [00:01:24] expand it for everybody. If Republicans [00:01:26] in Congress will follow the president's [00:01:28] lead, they'll win big in November. [00:01:30] >> Yeah. But some of them are a little [00:01:31] nervous about those policies, and you [00:01:34] know, it's just the way it is. Uh you uh [00:01:37] had a push-up contest today. This wasn't [00:01:39] the Pete and Bobby challenge, was it? [00:01:41] You were you knocked out what, like 55? [00:01:44] Uh who was this guy? [00:01:48] >> Uh this is some cadets from West Point, [00:01:51] and they were amazing. I will just say [00:01:52] Jesse, I met him at the capital today. [00:01:54] They were there talking about West [00:01:56] Point. They're incredible young men. [00:01:58] When you meet these guys, you realize [00:01:59] why we have the best military in the [00:02:01] world. They did challenge me to a [00:02:03] push-up contest impromptu there. And you [00:02:05] know, I I old man strength. Although, I [00:02:07] can tell you I'm going to be really [00:02:09] stiff and sore for weeks. [00:02:12] >> That's right. At least they didn't make [00:02:14] you do squats or lunges. You'd probably [00:02:16] had to crawl out of there. [00:02:19] Senator John, good to see
