vigilance [00:00:56] elite uh it's been a slow couple months [00:01:00] uh for you guys [00:01:01] because [00:01:02] we've just been [00:01:04] interviewing our asses off we went down [00:01:06] to mexico we have a ton of content that [00:01:08] we're a little behind on the editing [00:01:09] with uh but that is [00:01:14] all coming out shortly so [00:01:16] i'll just uh start from the top [00:01:19] so beginning of january [00:01:21] first thing we did this year is we had [00:01:24] justin hughes out i told you guys about [00:01:26] him in the last live he's a seal who is [00:01:29] a phenomenal artist he paints [00:01:32] uh i think he's gonna basically be the [00:01:35] next the next leonardo da vinci [00:01:39] it's incredible what that dude has done [00:01:41] and uh coming out of the seal teams and [00:01:44] uh so that interview is coming it should [00:01:46] be out on march 3rd that should be out [00:01:48] on march 3rd [00:01:50] then [00:01:51] i went down to mexico in mexico then [00:02:34] i want to talk about my interview [00:02:36] yesterday [00:02:37] with david nino or i'm sorry with uh [00:02:40] peter schweitzer who wrote red-handed [00:02:43] we cover the china topic i told you guys [00:02:47] that i was going to cover the china [00:02:48] topic and i think he was the perfect [00:02:51] person the perfect person to start with [00:02:54] it was a phenomenal interview and i'll [00:02:57] tell you a little bit about that then [00:02:59] i'll tell you about some upcoming guests [00:03:01] and we also had hey what's up steven [00:03:04] klein how the hell are you um [00:03:08] and then we're with oh david nino [00:03:11] rodriguez i just interviewed him too [00:03:14] that was a really good interview [00:03:17] what a childhood that dude has had uh [00:03:20] different so he is a three-time or not [00:03:23] three-time he's a world heavyweight [00:03:25] champ boxer i can't remember how many [00:03:27] times but uh [00:03:30] just a super cool guy to be around uh [00:03:32] he's got a pretty interesting story not [00:03:35] my typical interview but i kind of told [00:03:38] you guys at the beginning of the year [00:03:39] that uh i'm channel i saw a lot of comments [00:05:31] lately [00:05:32] yeah it's weird you know [00:05:34] we've done a lot of different [ __ ] on [00:05:35] this channel it's [00:05:37] it started as a gun reviewing channel [00:05:40] and uh because that's what i used to do [00:05:43] is teach tactics [00:05:44] and i know a lot of people miss those [00:05:46] videos if you want those kind of videos [00:05:49] training [00:05:50] guns blowing [ __ ] up whatever there's [00:05:54] like 100 something videos of it over on [00:05:56] patreon you're just gonna have to go [00:05:57] behind the paywall and support me [00:06:00] everything else is coming out here but [00:06:03] uh [00:06:04] and also i just want to thank you guys [00:06:06] for sticking around because it kind of [00:06:07] made me former [00:06:39] military guys that have done phenomenal [00:06:42] badass [ __ ] it's also gonna be cartel [00:06:45] people uh [00:06:47] that are reporting on cartel people [00:06:48] which we've already kind of done that uh [00:06:50] what's gonna we're gonna talk a lot [00:06:52] about [00:06:53] the the [00:06:54] uh what's going on in china and how that [00:06:56] affects us here in the united states [00:06:59] even though i keep hearing i better be [00:07:01] careful [00:07:02] because i'll get the channel shut down i [00:07:05] don't know you know what i think it's [00:07:07] [00:08:38] their [ __ ] former mayor [00:08:41] defunding uh all the police departments [00:08:43] up there [00:08:44] good job buddy [00:08:45] [ __ ] idiot [00:08:47] but uh anyways [00:08:49] so [00:08:50] that's kind of where the channel's going [00:08:52] it's all going to be interview type [00:08:54] content and uh i did two short pieces [00:08:57] with my wife [00:08:59] and uh with my wife katie talking about [00:09:03] just real life stuff that we're going [00:09:04] through [00:09:05] and um and um [00:09:09] and we're gonna continue to do those i [00:09:11] think we talked about uh the daily grind [00:09:14] of business [00:09:15] and uh [00:09:17] how you need to eventually get out of it [00:09:19] or your whole [ __ ] life's gonna pass [00:09:20] you by just trying to [00:09:23] make more business [00:09:24] and uh for us family is more important [00:09:27] and then the other one was uh the hotel [00:09:29] disaster [00:09:30] oh there's my wife right there sorry i shouldn't be saying the f word [00:10:05] anymore i'm working on that this year [00:10:08] but uh we went down to mexico it was a [00:10:10] phenomenal trip [00:10:12] we it went way different than we planned [00:10:15] uh [00:10:16] there was a lot more activity just in [00:10:19] the 24 hours that i got down there uh [00:10:22] of travel time i got there at first [00:10:24] thing when i landed i got a text from ed [00:10:26] saying hey national guard's rolling in [00:10:29] and they're setting up checkpoints all [00:10:31] over the [00:10:32] all over uh tijuana we went to tijuana [00:10:36] uh right on the border and uh he said [00:10:38] that they were restricting a lot of [00:10:40] movement [00:10:42] they were restricting a lot of movement [00:10:44] because there's some kind of turf war [00:10:46] going down there between [00:10:48] uh cartels [00:10:50] so [00:10:52] so that kind of uh [00:10:54] put a damper on our nighttime stuff [00:10:56] which is fine we did some other stuff [00:10:58] anyways and that turned out good but [00:11:01] first thing we did [00:11:03] is [00:11:04] we went into [00:11:07] well let me start here i was not armed i [00:11:10] was planning on going down there and [00:11:11] picking weapons up in the street and [00:11:13] getting everything on film but there [00:11:15] just wasn't once i got down there there [00:11:17] wasn't really time to do that [00:11:19] uh so [00:11:21] we didn't do it so uh [00:11:24] so i didn't do that so i was unarmed [00:11:25] however ed [00:11:27] uh has [00:11:28] like that dude's the man down there um [00:11:31] so [00:11:31] ed had two [00:11:34] at least two that i know of who knows [00:11:36] about the stuff that i didn't see just [00:11:38] kidding [00:11:38] i see everything but uh now i had two [00:11:42] armed guards with us everywhere we went [00:11:45] uh undercover civilian plainclothes [00:11:47] guards uh so we didn't draw very much [00:11:49] attention with them but yeah they were [00:11:52] packing [00:11:52] i think uh glocks whatever the 40 [00:11:56] caliber glock is i can't believe i don't [00:11:58] even know this [ __ ] anymore but uh [00:12:00] whatever the 40 caliber glock is [00:12:03] uh they they were rocking those and then [00:12:05] they had these uh [00:12:07] i can't remember the name either but [00:12:09] they were hk long guns with uh with uh [00:12:12] look like a four power optic built into [00:12:14] it [00:12:15] uh pretty cool and we got a video of [00:12:17] that [00:12:18] so [00:12:19] anyways uh before i dive into the mexico [00:12:50] of the whole city i'm not going to tell [00:12:52] you everything no it was not an hk ump [00:12:55] it was a long gun i believe it was [00:12:57] shooting five five six [00:12:59] but um [00:13:00] but uh we got down there did an overview [00:13:03] of the city kind of took uh [00:13:05] did a plan just did a car ride with ed [00:13:08] uh in a low pro thin skinned vehicle [00:13:10] that means [00:13:12] low profile blended in perfectly with [00:13:14] the city had uh [00:13:15] had [00:13:16] had [00:13:17] mexican plates [00:13:19] looked dirty blended in [00:13:21] um [00:13:23] four-door little sedan perfect nothing [00:13:26] drew attention wasn't anything fancy [00:13:28] that's gonna draw attention just looked [00:13:30] like everybody else down on the street [00:13:32] we actually had two vehicles and uh ed [00:13:34] kind of gave us a tour of the city where [00:13:36] the rich people live where the poor [00:13:38] people live where the cartels are at [00:13:41] where the border is [00:13:42] uh [00:13:43] why how what neighborhoods the uh [00:13:47] rich people are coming a lot of i guess [00:13:49] a lot of people from san diego are [00:13:51] moving into the better parts of tijuana [00:13:53] and they are [00:13:54] venturing into [00:13:56] cartel land [00:13:58] to buy fentanyl [00:14:00] so anyways i don't know what yeah [00:14:03] but uh so that's what they're doing so [00:14:05] we kind of talked about some of that and [00:14:07] he just pointed out the different [00:14:08] sections of the city we got like a great [00:14:10] overview [00:14:11] of the city and um [00:14:15] and uh that's all on film when we got [00:14:17] down there uh this is gonna be a tricky [00:14:20] edit it's gonna take us a little bit to [00:14:22] edit it all out because we could not get [00:14:26] big cameras sound equipment we couldn't [00:14:28] get any of that stuff in anywhere we [00:14:31] went [00:14:32] uh we we're already [00:14:34] um [00:14:36] drawing enough intent attention to [00:14:38] ourselves because in certain areas [00:14:41] because [00:14:43] oh [00:14:44] i don't look mexican [00:14:46] so [00:14:47] um [00:14:48] uh so that was drawing some attention i [00:14:50] wasn't trying to look like that i wanted [00:14:52] to look just like a normal tourist [00:14:55] american that's what i was going for so [00:14:58] um we weren't doing anything crazy and i [00:15:01] didn't want to i'm not [00:15:03] you know you want to be a gray man [00:15:04] sometimes being a grey man looks like a [00:15:06] [ __ ] tourist [00:15:08] they're a dude there we go dropping out [00:15:10] bonds again yeah you can watch all the [00:15:12] gray man videos you want on youtube i [00:15:15] know there's all these gurus out there [00:15:16] that know how to do it guess what a [00:15:19] white boy down in mexico dressed up like [00:15:21] a mexican you know what that looks like [00:15:24] a white boy down in mexico dressed up [00:15:25] like a mexican [00:15:27] so i wanted to just be a tourist and uh [00:15:31] so that's what i was going for and [00:15:32] that's what i did [00:15:34] and that was my cover story so [00:15:39] uh so anyways [00:15:40] next day uh there was a big migrant camp [00:15:43] down there probably about a thousand [00:15:45] people i think that estimated a thousand [00:15:47] people were in there [00:15:48] so [00:15:49] ed had not been in there uh before i [00:15:51] went down i said hey [00:15:54] let's take tonight let's do a little [00:15:56] recon around it let's plan our insertion [00:15:58] the next fill routes a couple different [00:16:00] uh a couple different routes in and out [00:16:03] and let's do [00:16:05] let's look at where we're gonna walk [00:16:06] where we're gonna drive all that kind of [00:16:08] [ __ ] so [00:16:13] so uh [00:16:15] taco recipe shorts [00:16:17] so [00:16:18] did a little recon [00:16:20] figured all our our our movement stuff [00:16:22] out and then uh next morning first thing [00:16:25] we woke up jumped in the vehicles [00:16:28] uh [00:16:29] um [00:16:31] got down there with our iphone which [00:16:33] filmed [00:16:35] we brought all this equipment and we [00:16:37] wind up just using an iphone and you [00:16:39] know what [00:16:40] i think it's actually cooler with just [00:16:42] the iphone because all the [ __ ] is like [00:16:44] right up in your face real there's no [00:16:46] like fancy [00:16:47] editing you know and uh [00:16:50] and maybe that there's something to be [00:16:51] said about that because it's not it [00:16:53] shows like hey we can't [ __ ] we can't [00:16:56] freaking get cameras in here so uh [00:17:00] so it's all done on iphone so anyways we [00:17:02] got down there took two vehicles [00:17:05] uh ed and i [00:17:06] went in [00:17:07] uh started walking you know kind of [00:17:09] around the camp and then we [00:17:13] went into the migrant camp uh ed started [00:17:16] getting uh a little uneasy uh he was [00:17:20] like hey man if we don't get the hell [00:17:21] out tell that dude to put the camera up [00:17:24] and uh put the iphone up but uh he's [00:17:27] like we can't be recording anymore in [00:17:29] here these people are about ready to [00:17:30] start throwing bottles and rocks and [00:17:32] anything they can get their hands on so [00:17:34] let's get the hell out of here [00:17:36] uh [00:17:37] and [00:17:38] i i was like all right let's just hang [00:17:40] out for a little bit longer tim got uh [00:17:43] some more uh some great footage of that [00:17:46] place [00:17:47] and uh we were kind of talking back and [00:17:49] forth with a couple of migrants from [00:17:52] honduras who came up [00:17:54] and uh we were able to [00:17:58] persuade them [00:18:00] to [00:18:01] uh [00:18:02] leave that camp and give me a full [00:18:05] interview [00:18:06] which is pretty cool and that kind of [00:18:09] shows you how desperate uh [00:18:11] some of these people are to jump in [00:18:14] a [00:18:16] two cars with their have two [00:18:19] armed dudes with them if they even pick [00:18:21] that up [00:18:23] anyways they jump in a car with a bunch [00:18:25] of dudes with guns and go [00:18:28] to go get an interview [00:18:30] uh and you know i offered him [00:18:32] uh we offered him some money and uh and [00:18:35] they took us up so we took him out of [00:18:36] there [00:18:37] uh that way we didn't have to deal with [00:18:39] any rioting [00:18:40] and uh and and we got a full-blown [00:18:44] um [00:18:46] interview [00:18:47] uh i think a lot of people are probably [00:18:49] gonna think maybe it's staged because uh [00:18:52] one of them actually had a make america [00:18:54] great again mask but uh if they can look [00:18:58] past that we didn't actually talk any [00:19:00] politics at all and and uh i didn't take [00:19:03] any side on what i think about the [00:19:05] border at all either so [00:19:08] uh it there's nothing to do with any [00:19:11] politics on in at all in this entire [00:19:14] series it's only about [00:19:16] facts and what we're seeing [00:19:19] and uh and interviewing these uh these [00:19:21] migrants and stuff so [00:19:23] so basically i'm not going to tell you [00:19:26] uh what we talked about exactly in the [00:19:28] interview i'll just tell you that [00:19:31] i got [00:19:33] their journey from honduras how long it [00:19:36] took [00:19:37] what they were dealing with when they [00:19:38] were running into cartels [00:19:40] um how long have they been there why [00:19:42] they want to come to the united states [00:19:44] where their money is going to go when [00:19:46] they get here [00:19:48] what the leadership is like in the [00:19:49] migrant camp [00:19:51] you know what are the rules [00:19:53] all that kind of stuff is in this [00:19:54] interview so i think it's a really it's [00:19:56] going to be a really good interview the [00:19:58] whole interview is basically me [00:20:01] asking questions honestly i wanted to [00:20:03] bust some spanish out but um because [00:20:05] they have that [00:20:07] mask requirement down there i i could [00:20:09] not understand [00:20:11] a damn word coming out of their mouth uh [00:20:13] barely at all so [00:20:15] um [00:20:16] so luckily i had ed [00:20:19] it's hard for me to understand spanish [00:20:21] with the with the masks [00:20:23] on i can i'm pretty good without them [00:20:25] but uh what wasn't happening with mass [00:20:28] so it's basically ed in the middle and [00:20:31] then uh what it was was a uh boyfriend [00:20:34] girlfriend uh that we interviewed who [00:20:37] are the migrants and i think that's [00:20:39] probably about [00:20:40] dude thank you i really appreciate that [00:20:43] david you're the man uh thank you [00:20:46] so um what i was saying was [00:20:50] i think it's about a 40-minute interview [00:20:53] and uh [00:20:54] and uh and it's it's really [00:20:57] it's in-depth it's good but it is on an [00:20:59] iphone and it's me asking the questions [00:21:02] ed's translating [00:21:03] and uh and uh it's it's pretty cool [00:21:07] so [00:21:11] that's kind of the migrant camp [00:21:14] in all honesty i think that is probably [00:21:17] the most informative and best piece of [00:21:20] content that we picked up down there [00:21:23] um [00:21:25] we did pick up a lot of good stuff but i [00:21:27] think that was [00:21:28] i think that's probably the most [00:21:30] important and the most informative uh [00:21:32] piece that we did then uh some other [00:21:35] stuff that we covered i don't want to go [00:21:36] into really everything [00:21:39] uh because uh i don't want to ruin the [00:22:50] sanchez [00:22:51] the los sanchez neighborhood according [00:22:53] to ed is the most dangerous neighborhood [00:22:56] in tijuana [00:22:57] uh that's where a lot of the cartels are [00:22:59] hiding out down there so [00:23:01] we went in [00:23:02] we did a two-car convoy [00:23:05] my film guy with the iphone was sitting [00:23:08] in the back seat [00:23:09] me and ed oh i think ed was in my [00:23:12] vehicle too who's in the back seat so [00:23:14] it's me and uh one of the armed [00:23:16] guys [00:23:17] um [00:23:19] up he's up front [00:23:21] and ed's com kind of uh gets to me um but [00:27:38] but anyways talked a lot about where [00:27:41] uh these women are being trafficked from [00:27:43] how old they are [00:27:45] some of them are getting conned into it kind of that [00:48:25] interview [00:48:26] i'll tell you about the experience for a [00:48:27] little bit though uh this was totally [00:48:30] unexpected i didn't think we were [00:48:32] actually gonna get this guy and then uh [00:48:34] a friend of mine was like i'll [00:48:36] i'll get him i'm good at this [ __ ] and [00:48:38] i'll be i'll be damned if he got him [00:48:41] and so he got here [00:48:43] we interviewed him we were told we would [00:48:45] only have uh one hour to interview this [00:48:48] guy [00:48:48] and um [00:48:50] and uh we wound up inter i think he was [00:48:53] here for like two and a half hours [00:48:55] and i'm pretty sure he was uh late for [00:48:57] his next dinner for his next interview [00:49:00] but the interview is uh sitting right at [00:49:03] about an hour and 40 minutes so after we [00:49:07] cut [00:49:07] you know uh a little bit of the blank [00:49:10] spots and stuff um [00:49:12] and edit it up then it will probably be [00:49:15] like right at uh 1 40 so uh an hour 40 [00:49:19] minutes of just [00:49:21] i mean get ready it's gonna be like [00:49:23] drinking from a fire hose so um [00:49:26] so that's that's that interview and [00:49:29] honestly the interview is so good and [00:49:32] the information is so pertinent [00:49:34] that uh i know i'm behind in the editing [00:49:37] can like i said i have justin hughes [00:49:38] ahead of him and i have [00:49:41] uh nino rodriguez uh [00:49:44] ahead of them and then peter uh [00:49:47] schweitzer should be three back but i [00:49:50] think we're gonna
