[00:10:16] its back on you Lord and just through
[00:10:18] all the horrible things that are
[00:10:19] happening just the devastating effects
[00:10:21] of that and please just help turning
[00:10:23] point in this school and Christians

[00:10:59] Isabel Brown she's super cool an author

[00:11:04] really really excited to have her today
[00:11:05] so come on up Isabel everybody give her
[00:11:07] a round of applause
[00:11:09] welcome to Turning Point USA's proudly
[00:11:12] hosted 2023 event the made in America
[00:11:16] Tour
[00:11:17] welcome to Turning Point USA's proudly
[00:11:20] hosted 2023 event the made in America
[00:11:23] Tour joining us on stage tonight Isabel
[00:11:27] Brown and when you boldly stand for
[00:11:30] truth they will feel inspired to do
[00:11:32] exactly the same thing if every single
[00:11:35] one of us fights on the front lines in
[00:11:37] this culture War we will win
[00:11:40] [Applause]
[00:11:46] welcoming to the stage Isabel Brown my
[00:11:49] name sounds so cool when you say it like
[00:11:51] that Isabel Brown I might have to start
[00:11:53] voice acting Legacy how are you today on
[00:11:56] this beautiful Monday
[00:11:59] there's some good enthusiasm some of you
[00:12:01] have yet to cheer because you're still
[00:12:03] stuffing your mouth with free pizza
[00:12:04] which low-key is the absolute best way
[00:12:07] to the heart of Generation Z that
[00:12:09] doesn't go away when you go to college
[00:12:11] by the way so take advantage of that my
[00:12:13] name is Isabel Brown and it may not look
[00:12:16] like it because 25 hits you really fast
[00:12:19] but just a few years ago I was sitting
[00:12:22] in high school bleachers very similar to
[00:12:24] yours at a Catholic High School in
[00:12:26] Denver Colorado called Mullen High
[00:12:29] School really confused about what the
[00:12:33] trajectory of my life was going to look
[00:12:35] like what I was called to do from God
[00:12:37] and what it would mean to serve others
[00:12:41] in the world but in particular in our
[00:12:44] country that was barreling head straight
[00:12:46] into chaos and confusion I started
[00:12:49] college in the fall of 2015. right
[00:12:53] caught up in the midst of the most
[00:12:55] controversial presidential election of
[00:12:57] our time in the mid list of cancel
[00:12:59] culture coming onto the scene with
[00:13:02] antifa on the rise across the country
[00:13:04] and found myself in the middle of what
[00:13:07] we often refer to with Turning Point USA
[00:13:09] and in the conservative political world
[00:13:12] a culture War have you guys heard of
[00:13:14] that before I never anticipated that
[00:13:17] myself who had no interest in working in
[00:13:20] politics or going on Fox news or putting
[00:13:24] videos about what I think about my
[00:13:25] opinions or my faith on Instagram and on
[00:13:27] Tick Tock for a living I never thought
[00:13:30] that myself who instead was interested
[00:13:33] in pursuing the objective truth of
[00:13:36] Science and eventually becoming a
[00:13:38] surgeon would find myself the number one
[00:13:40] Target on my college campus at Colorado
[00:13:43] State University with labels like white
[00:13:46] supremacist or racist or transphobic or
[00:13:50] homophobic or Nazi Barbie which I got
[00:13:54] quite a bit on my big Public University
[00:13:57] campus I never ever thought that people
[00:14:00] would dox my address to the one bedroom
[00:14:02] apartment where I live just off campus
[00:14:05] while I was studying classes like
[00:14:07] organic chemistry and Physiology and
[00:14:10] human gross anatomy I never thought that
[00:14:13] I would be on the receiving end of death
[00:14:15] threats of people threatening to harm me
[00:14:17] or hurt me and need to make friends with
[00:14:20] my campus police department because I
[00:14:23] started doing the one thing that culture
[00:14:26] encourages us at Jen's ears never to do
[00:14:29] and that is seek the truth to pursue the
[00:14:33] truth and encourage more of our peers to
[00:14:35] do exactly the same thing I started
[00:14:38] noticing that there was a bias on my
[00:14:40] campus just after the 2016 presidential
[00:14:43] election in fact the day after I showed
[00:14:45] up to my first class of the day which
[00:14:47] was Spanish medical terminology hardly a
[00:14:52] confusing subject or a politically
[00:14:54] charged subject and my professor to
[00:14:56] Colorado State University's class showed
[00:14:58] up 20 minutes late wearing head to toe
[00:15:02] all black and a black lace veil draped
[00:15:05] over her face sobbing her eyes out
[00:15:08] in her words America was dead
[00:15:13] the freedom that we knew in America was
[00:15:16] forever gone because a bunch of
[00:15:18] middle-aged white apparently racist men
[00:15:21] in Middle America had ruined America for
[00:15:25] us for my generation for Generation Z I
[00:15:28] know I'm a little bit older than you but
[00:15:29] believe it or not we are the same
[00:15:31] generation I was born in 1997.
[00:15:34] and my college campus and all of a
[00:15:36] sudden I discovered the World As We Knew
[00:15:38] It spinning around us didn't know what
[00:15:40] to do with Generation Z we were an
[00:15:43] anomaly we were someone who had yet to
[00:15:46] be figured out but everyone in my life
[00:15:49] from my college professors to my school
[00:15:51] administration to my old high school
[00:15:53] teachers who were frustrated when I
[00:15:55] started posting on social media was
[00:15:57] convinced that Generation Z was going to
[00:16:00] be the end of America of course we know
[00:16:04] that that's not true and I could spend
[00:16:06] hours and hours talking to you about all
[00:16:08] of the things that our generation is
[00:16:10] doing right unfortunately we don't have
[00:16:12] a ton of time during your guys's lunch
[00:16:14] break but this tour is the made in
[00:16:17] America Tour you might not consider
[00:16:20] yourself particularly interested in
[00:16:23] politics or wanting to identify one side
[00:16:26] or the either with a political party or
[00:16:28] on the political Spectrum you might not
[00:16:30] really even care about how government
[00:16:33] works or American history or how you
[00:16:36] might fit into all of that but I can
[00:16:38] tell you what you do care about and that
[00:16:40] is culture the culture that we
[00:16:43] experience each and every day that makes
[00:16:44] up our reality in America today and what
[00:16:48] I love to remind people our parents and
[00:16:50] grandparents age when I have the
[00:16:51] privilege of speaking to them across the
[00:16:53] country as a part of my job is that
[00:16:55] reality and culture today in America
[00:16:58] looks fundamentally different from what
[00:17:01] it did for our parents when they were in
[00:17:03] high school or your teachers when they
[00:17:05] were in high school or even our
[00:17:06] grandparents when they were in their
[00:17:08] early and mid-20s figuring out what they
[00:17:10] wanted to do with the rest of their
[00:17:11] lives the truth is today in 2023 America
[00:17:15] we live in the upside down any stranger
[00:17:18] things fans in the house I'm seeing some
[00:17:20] nodding heads how are we having to wait
[00:17:22] until 2025 by the way for the next
[00:17:25] season blows my mind we live in the
[00:17:28] upside down similar to The Stranger
[00:17:30] Things Universe where Up Is Down and
[00:17:33] Down is up and right is left and left is
[00:17:36] right where men are women and women are
[00:17:40] men where all of a sudden it's more
[00:17:43] moral for us to throw away the
[00:17:46] foundation of judeo-christian values
[00:17:48] that made the West great and instead had
[00:17:52] full force into Anarchy and
[00:17:55] totalitarianism which essentially means
[00:17:57] one person in charge and we're being
[00:18:00] okay with that even communism which
[00:18:03] sounds so insane when you're thinking
[00:18:06] about this from the lens of your high
[00:18:08] school classes and your apus history
[00:18:10] textbooks but there are many some would
[00:18:12] even say a majority today in America who
[00:18:16] would prefer that everything we know
[00:18:18] about reality be upside down and things
[00:18:22] have gotten so confusing that a recent
[00:18:24] study just came out about our generation
[00:18:26] that found only 16 percent of Generation
[00:18:30] Z would consider themselves proud to be
[00:18:33] be an American
[00:18:35] 16 percent you may not even fall into
[00:18:39] that sixteen percent and honestly it's
[00:18:42] hard to blame you because in America
[00:18:44] today we don't like to admit it but our
[00:18:47] culture has gone so far upside down that
[00:18:51] who we are as Christians as proud
[00:18:53] Americans as Defenders of free speech
[00:18:56] and Entrepreneurship and forging your
[00:18:59] own path to create your own American
[00:19:01] dream that is the very definition of
[00:19:04] what it means to be counter-cultural in
[00:19:07] America today if you want to fit in
[00:19:09] you'll agree that men are women and
[00:19:12] women are men that a biological male can
[00:19:16] compete with women in NCAA swimming
[00:19:19] pools
[00:19:20] that if you dare to say anything that is
[00:19:24] rooted in objective reality you're
[00:19:26] bigoted you are outdated you're no
[00:19:28] longer welcome in American society if
[00:19:31] you say that you want to get married
[00:19:33] when you're very young or have a lot of
[00:19:35] kids you're really old school and have
[00:19:37] nothing to do with the culture of Our
[00:19:39] Generation or the values of Our
[00:19:40] Generation if you dare to say you
[00:19:43] support freedom of speech you are evil
[00:19:46] on most of America's college campuses
[00:19:48] and in our young 20s and young adult
[00:19:50] years
[00:19:51] high school and what you all are
[00:19:53] experiencing right now is the very
[00:19:56] epicenter of this culture war that we
[00:19:58] are living in day by day minute by
[00:20:01] minute in the United States and it might
[00:20:03] not always feel like that when you're
[00:20:05] sitting in your classes here at Legacy
[00:20:07] prep you likely are very very fortunate
[00:20:09] to have opportunities to speak your mind
[00:20:11] to challenge your perspectives to
[00:20:13] broaden your horizons which is what
[00:20:15] education is supposed to be all about
[00:20:17] and most of our peers as we know in high
[00:20:20] school and college aren't getting that
[00:20:21] experience they're becoming
[00:20:23] indoctrinated instead of educated but
[00:20:26] High School I think we all can admit is
[00:20:28] really really hard right I'm seeing some
[00:20:32] nodding heads High School is tough and I
[00:20:35] will be the first to admit to you I
[00:20:38] hated high school and that's hard to say
[00:20:41] because I think in America we glorify
[00:20:43] the high school and college experience
[00:20:45] so much to be the best time of your life
[00:20:47] right you're going to look back on this
[00:20:49] chapter and it's going to be the best
[00:20:50] memories that you ever had and that's
[00:20:52] not always true in high school and in
[00:20:55] college in the next several years of
[00:20:57] your life it's likely that you are going
[00:20:58] to have every single one of your ideas
[00:21:01] and values challenged you are going to
[00:21:04] have to answer for yourself what it
[00:21:06] means to be made in America what it
[00:21:09] means to be an American what it means to
[00:21:11] be a Christian what it means to believe
[00:21:13] in objective truth not just in your High
[00:21:16] School classrooms but on your college
[00:21:18] campuses in your first job on your Tick
[00:21:21] Tock for you pages and everywhere in
[00:21:23] between
[00:21:24] the incredible thing is even as the
[00:21:26] world only continues to get crazier
[00:21:29] which we biblically believe is going to
[00:21:31] happen gen Z is courageously changing
[00:21:35] culture From the Inside Out defying the
[00:21:38] odds of what it means to be made in
[00:21:40] America and redefining the objective
[00:21:43] truth that we seem to Value more than
[00:21:46] people give us credit for we're doing
[00:21:48] that through education because we're not
[00:21:50] just pursuing four-year degrees in
[00:21:52] underwater lesbian basket weaving which
[00:21:55] many people think is a great use of our
[00:21:57] time and tuition dollars we're doing
[00:21:59] that through dating by rejecting hookup
[00:22:02] culture and the lies that you need to be
[00:22:04] dating multiple people all at the same
[00:22:06] time in order to be fulfilled and
[00:22:09] instead pursuing engagement and marriage
[00:22:12] and starting families we're doing that
[00:22:13] through entrepreneurship and not
[00:22:15] climbing a silly corporate ladder that's
[00:22:17] going to not make us a lot of money and
[00:22:19] probably not make us very happy working
[00:22:22] in Corporate America but instead 60 two
[00:22:25] percent of us as a generation are
[00:22:26] starting our own businesses and forging
[00:22:28] our own path America whether you believe
[00:22:31] it or not needs your leadership right
[00:22:34] now at 14 15 16 17 or 18 years old
[00:22:39] seniors in particular you as a young
[00:22:42] adult in America have so much more
[00:22:44] influence and impact than you imagine
[00:22:46] and I want to take a few of your
[00:22:48] questions here in just a second but I
[00:22:50] want to ask you a question first
[00:22:52] can you describe for me feel free to
[00:22:55] just yell it out what the people who
[00:22:58] wrote the Declaration of Independence
[00:23:00] looked like
[00:23:02] old what else white what else
[00:23:06] men old white men ancient white men
[00:23:10] right wrinkly geriatrics sagging
[00:23:14] powdered white wigs couldn't possibly be
[00:23:18] interested in culture or understand
[00:23:20] culture old white men right and I think
[00:23:24] we think that because of the
[00:23:25] illustrations in our apus history
[00:23:27] textbooks and the statues that we see in
[00:23:29] Washington DC but in reality on July 4th
[00:23:32] 1776 our founding fathers and mothers
[00:23:36] the people who built this crazy
[00:23:38] experiment we call America the people
[00:23:40] who defined for the first place what it
[00:23:42] meant to be made in America were your
[00:23:45] age or just a little bit older than you
[00:23:48] on July 4th 1776 James Monroe was 18
[00:23:52] years old Aaron Burr was 20. John
[00:23:56] Marshall was 20. before becoming the
[00:23:58] absolute star of a Broadway Smash Hit
[00:24:00] musical Alexander Hamilton was only 21
[00:24:03] years old on July 4th 1776 6. Betsy Ross
[00:24:08] who so famously created our flag was 24.
[00:24:11] James Madison was 25 Thomas Jefferson
[00:24:13] who wrote the Declaration of
[00:24:15] Independence was only 33 years old on
[00:24:18] July 4th 1776. there are going to be
[00:24:22] countless people in your life who tell
[00:24:24] you that you're too young or don't have
[00:24:26] enough life experience to shape what it
[00:24:29] means to be made in America to impact
[00:24:31] American culture and to courageously run
[00:24:34] after the pursuit of objective truth but
[00:24:37] even before America was a country even
[00:24:40] before we had founding documents our
[00:24:44] nation has always relied on people our
[00:24:47] age your age some even younger than you
[00:24:50] courageously speaking up for truth and
[00:24:52] Liberty and the same applies to each one
[00:24:55] of us today I want to take as many of
[00:24:57] your questions as possible and maximize
[00:24:58] our time so if you have some questions I
[00:25:00] don't know if we have a mic beautiful
[00:25:02] right down here in the front no question
[00:25:04] is off limits we can talk about whatever
[00:25:06] you got guys want
[00:25:07] but I remember high school was a time
[00:25:10] where it feels awkward to ask all of the
[00:25:12] questions you really want to so I'm
[00:25:14] going to just say it up front anything
[00:25:15] is on the table ask away
[00:25:20] anything
[00:25:22] truly
[00:25:24] how about one of these courageous young
[00:25:26] men somebody want to go first
[00:25:30] okay give it a second
[00:25:33] I I got a question Isabel okay
[00:25:36] um so I was reading an article from
[00:25:38] Washington Post and it said a majority
[00:25:39] of Jen's ears would rather not drive
[00:25:42] like they don't care if they get their
[00:25:43] driver's license or not yeah why do you
[00:25:45] think that is
[00:25:47] you know I don't know I haven't seen
[00:25:49] that one
[00:25:50] um I'll tell you guys something I'm not
[00:25:52] really publicly telling the world right
[00:25:53] now I'm writing a book about gen Z and
[00:25:55] culture and politics and what that's all
[00:25:57] going to mean in the future we are a
[00:25:59] very headstrong independent generation
[00:26:01] and I don't know why we would not want
[00:26:04] to drive you would think that would take
[00:26:06] away our independence and we're doing
[00:26:07] everything to hold on to that so send me
[00:26:09] that article I'll research it do you
[00:26:11] guys drive do you like driving I loved
[00:26:13] driving when I was in high school so I
[00:26:14] don't know why we wouldn't do that
[00:26:21] um and say your name I'd love to meet
[00:26:22] you guys hi I'm serenity
[00:26:25] so I've been
[00:26:27] taking some psychology classes and
[00:26:29] reading that there is a rise in anxiety
[00:26:32] in our gen generation that could be
[00:26:34] leading to that
[00:26:36] um
[00:26:37] uh lack of inclination to drive yeah and
[00:26:42] just the anxiety of of
[00:26:44] so much that happens I know uh I have
[00:26:47] relatives so my cousin is not
[00:26:50] comfortable with driving fully or has in
[00:26:53] the past been afraid to drive and
[00:26:57] uh yeah it's just the anxiety is higher
[00:27:01] than it has been in yeah that's actually
[00:27:04] not even just isolated to anxiety and
[00:27:06] I'm really glad you brought up the
[00:27:08] Mental Health crisis that we're all
[00:27:09] dealing with thank you for that
[00:27:10] perspective on driving generally with
[00:27:13] regard to that I will just say if you
[00:27:15] guys at all are struggling at home with
[00:27:17] anxiety with depression with anything
[00:27:19] more seriously than that that's not
[00:27:22] abnormal in high school it is the most
[00:27:25] tempting thing in the entire world to
[00:27:27] think that it's only you going through
[00:27:29] anything that you're going through being
[00:27:30] lonely being anxious being depressed
[00:27:33] being confused about what you want to do
[00:27:35] with your life having a crisis of faith
[00:27:37] in reality any one of us who work for
[00:27:39] turning point we're all young fun people
[00:27:41] God I may just sound a hundred there
[00:27:43] sorry everybody but we can tell you when
[00:27:45] we were in high school every single one
[00:27:47] of us dealt with those things too so
[00:27:49] know that you are never alone and there
[00:27:51] are always people who are sharing those
[00:27:53] experiences with you we're doing
[00:27:54] everything we can on the content
[00:27:56] creation side of things with my friends
[00:27:57] that I work with to end suicide within
[00:28:01] gen Z there's a whole campaign going on
[00:28:03] right now that gen Z will be suicide
[00:28:04] free and to combat the Mental Health
[00:28:06] crisis any way we can so I'm always a
[00:28:08] resource if you guys need me okay hi I'm
[00:28:11] Aubry
[00:28:12] um what can we do as high schoolers to
[00:28:14] make a difference in politics and to our
[00:28:16] peers around us great question raise
[00:28:18] your hand if you think genuinely you
[00:28:20] will make zero difference at all in
[00:28:21] American politics as one person it's a
[00:28:24] pretty common feeling and I used to feel
[00:28:26] exactly the same way gen Z though is
[00:28:28] already the driving force of what the
[00:28:30] future of politics is going to look like
[00:28:32] in America
[00:28:33] 52 percent of us that are registered to
[00:28:37] vote are registering as Independents so
[00:28:39] right now in Washington DC where I used
[00:28:41] to work I used to work for the U.S
[00:28:43] Senate and the White House under the
[00:28:44] Trump Administration people are freaking
[00:28:47] out about Generation Z because we're
[00:28:50] doing the one thing that everyone in
[00:28:52] America suggests we shouldn't do and
[00:28:54] that is dare to think for ourselves dare
[00:28:56] to think critically be naturally
[00:28:58] skeptical and be a group of people to be
[00:29:01] won over we don't want empty promises on
[00:29:03] campaign Trails anymore we don't want to
[00:29:05] just be somebody who casts a ballot
[00:29:07] every couple years and then doesn't do
[00:29:09] anything else about it there are a
[00:29:11] million ways that you can make a
[00:29:12] difference and our generation is already
[00:29:14] proving that uh get involved with your
[00:29:16] Turning Point USA chapter or another
[00:29:18] organization that shares your values
[00:29:19] start a protest for something going on
[00:29:22] in your community and contact the local
[00:29:24] news about it start posting on social
[00:29:26] media if you had asked me when I started
[00:29:28] this journey right after my college
[00:29:29] graduation in 2019 if I would have the
[00:29:32] opportunity to have 20 million people
[00:29:35] look at a video across platforms that's
[00:29:37] 30 seconds long about something going on
[00:29:39] in politics I would have thought you
[00:29:40] were crazy but the truth is social media
[00:29:43] and independent content creation and us
[00:29:45] sharing our values is infinitely more
[00:29:48] impactful than any of the cable news
[00:29:50] networks that your parents throw on in
[00:29:52] the background so it can be something as
[00:29:53] simple as raising your hand in class and
[00:29:56] challenging something that your college
[00:29:57] professor might say hosting a club
[00:30:00] meeting or organization on campus or
[00:30:02] posting things on social media you never
[00:30:04] know what that impact might look like hi
[00:30:07] I was wondering what it means to be
[00:30:09] registered registered as independent I
[00:30:12] would ask your teachers more about that
[00:30:14] we don't have a ton of time to talk
[00:30:15] about like voter stuff and we're not
[00:30:16] really supposed to because we're a
[00:30:17] non-profit organization but you guys can
[00:30:20] ask all of your Civics teachers and
[00:30:21] history teachers about that and I'm sure
[00:30:23] they can help you get started in the
[00:30:24] right path but basically it just means
[00:30:26] not for either political party you can
[00:30:28] vote for anybody that you choose you can
[00:30:30] when you're registered the other way too
[00:30:32] but it's a longer story
[00:30:33] oh no
[00:30:36] hi my name is Sebastian Sebastian so my
[00:30:39] question I think the term wokeness and
[00:30:42] woke has thrown around quite a bit today
[00:30:44] yeah um and we heard uh well I heard a
[00:30:47] few other people who were there too at
[00:30:48] Charlie Kirk's event a couple weeks ago
[00:30:49] we heard his definition of wokeness but
[00:30:52] I just wanted to ask you how would you
[00:30:53] define the term woke it's a great
[00:30:55] question and honestly is a completely
[00:30:58] subjective answer depending on who
[00:31:00] you're going to ask
[00:31:02] I would say it's the most ironic
[00:31:04] definition of our time because those
[00:31:06] that would call themselves woke think
[00:31:09] that they're completely eyes wide open
[00:31:11] to all of the social justice injustices
[00:31:13] that are happening in society they think
[00:31:15] that they're causing progression in
[00:31:17] society in reality if you call yourself
[00:31:19] woke today your head is buried your head
[00:31:22] is in the sand your eyes and ears are
[00:31:23] completely closed to what's going on
[00:31:25] around you and you've bought into a
[00:31:27] mainstream lie about what it means to
[00:31:30] live in 2023 America
[00:31:32] uh hi I'm Jake a question for um when
[00:31:37] somebody says that like they were
[00:31:39] biologically a male but they changed to
[00:31:42] a female uh like how should we go about
[00:31:44] like do we accept them do we like how do
[00:31:47] we go about that being Christians
[00:31:49] there's some Giggles it's a hard
[00:31:51] question to ask because honestly this
[00:31:53] type of question never would have been
[00:31:55] on anybody's radar when I was in high
[00:31:57] school when I graduated in 2015 but now
[00:32:00] it's so normal 20 of Our Generation
[00:32:03] self-identifies as lgbtq plus 20 that's
[00:32:07] one in five so if you count the people
[00:32:09] sitting around you one in five chances
[00:32:11] are in our generation are dealing with
[00:32:13] questions like this every single day
[00:32:15] there is a way to show love to someone
[00:32:20] and to love someone without endorsing
[00:32:23] their lifestyle or how they are choosing
[00:32:26] to live their life and as Christians we
[00:32:28] are called to love everyone including
[00:32:30] loving our enemies but loving people
[00:32:32] starts with telling them the truth and
[00:32:34] not giving in to the lies of society
[00:32:36] it's an incredibly difficult journey to
[00:32:38] walk right now with our generation that
[00:32:40] I think we're still trying to figure out
[00:32:41] but ultimately it's not supposed to be
[00:32:44] easy and I don't know how much of an
[00:32:47] experience you guys have had rubbing up
[00:32:49] with Christian values in a society
[00:32:52] that's rejecting everything we believe
[00:32:54] in from a Christian values perspective
[00:32:56] but the gospel does not say that you are
[00:32:59] going to be beloved or that you're going
[00:33:01] to have a million friends or 5 million
[00:33:04] followers on Tick Tock or have every job
[00:33:06] opportunity available to you or even
[00:33:08] that it's always going to feel good to
[00:33:10] be a Christian in fact the gospel
[00:33:12] repeatedly says over and over and over
[00:33:14] again that if you do there to tell truth
[00:33:17] to a world that's rejecting the very
[00:33:19] concept of Truth and we believe as
[00:33:21] Christians truth has a name right and
[00:33:23] that name is Jesus Christ you will be
[00:33:27] hated
[00:33:28] hate it you'll be persecuted your safety
[00:33:32] might be threatened I experienced that
[00:33:34] on college campuses all the time you
[00:33:35] probably saw the story of a young woman
[00:33:38] named Riley who was punched and
[00:33:40] repeatedly assaulted this week at San
[00:33:43] Francisco State University at one of our
[00:33:45] events you might lose your job you might
[00:33:47] have friends or family members choose
[00:33:50] not to have a relationship with you
[00:33:51] anymore you'll probably get an F in a
[00:33:53] college class at one point or another if
[00:33:55] you say that God is the creator of the
[00:33:57] universe that's the world that we live
[00:33:59] in today and I don't say that to scare
[00:34:01] you or freak you out or make you feel
[00:34:03] like you have to be submissive to the
[00:34:05] demands of cancel culture and the world
[00:34:07] and the woke group of people that's
[00:34:09] trying to cancel out everything that we
[00:34:11] believe in as Christians I say that to
[00:34:12] empower you because instead of seeking
[00:34:15] the approval of the world which is an
[00:34:17] incredibly temporary finite amount of
[00:34:19] time we have the luxury of knowing this
[00:34:22] world is not our home the next world is
[00:34:24] life goes extremely fast and the demands
[00:34:27] of culture change every five minutes but
[00:34:30] the demands of God and what we believe
[00:34:33] in and truth and sharing that truth with
[00:34:35] the world never changes and I say that
[00:34:38] to empower you to encourage you to know
[00:34:40] that no matter what the world throws at
[00:34:42] you take it as a sign that you're going
[00:34:44] in the right direction because if this
[00:34:46] world loved you you probably aren't
[00:34:47] walking in truth I think we have a
[00:34:49] couple more minutes okay
[00:34:51] hi my name is C Rizzy
[00:34:54] um how incredible is Trump how
[00:34:57] incredible is Trump we are a non-profit
[00:35:00] organization so I can't really talk
[00:35:01] about candidates right now during this
[00:35:03] speech you can come look at all my stuff
[00:35:05] on social media later uh but I did work
[00:35:07] in the Trump White House from a
[00:35:09] government and policy perspective it was
[00:35:11] an incredible experience
[00:35:12] thank you
[00:35:18] hi my name is Ellie hi Ellie and I just
[00:35:20] wanted to know your thoughts on the
[00:35:22] willow project oh great question if you
[00:35:25] guys don't know do you know what the
[00:35:26] willow project is raise your hand if you
[00:35:27] don't know
[00:35:29] most people don't the willow project is
[00:35:31] an extremely controversial area of
[00:35:34] environmentalism right now where
[00:35:36] essentially there's all this land up in
[00:35:38] Alaska that they're contemplating
[00:35:39] whether or not to do development on and
[00:35:41] to drill for oil and gas on this is like
[00:35:43] a PhD level discussion that I don't have
[00:35:46] time to really go into in this question
[00:35:48] and answer but if you're looking for a
[00:35:50] more conservative point of view on the
[00:35:52] willow project and why some of the
[00:35:53] concerns with it are really misfounded
[00:35:56] and miseducated check out the American
[00:35:58] conservation Coalition that's an
[00:36:00] organization that's a non-profit it was
[00:36:02] started by my friend Benji but they
[00:36:04] provide environmental policies and
[00:36:06] solutions that are very pro-environment
[00:36:09] it's very non-partisan but from a more
[00:36:11] conservative point of view and they have
[00:36:12] a lot of really great resources on the
[00:36:14] willow project
[00:36:15] uh hi Isabel uh my name is Kai hi Kai uh
[00:36:19] my first quick question is um how's your
[00:36:21] day going how is my day going it's
[00:36:23] fantastic thank you uh and then my
[00:36:26] second question is uh what made you have
[00:36:28] this like drive and passion to like join
[00:36:31] TP USA and like work in the white house
[00:36:33] and all that stuff
[00:36:34] oh we're just doing the million dollar
[00:36:36] questions today okay I'll totally level
[00:36:39] with you when I was in high school I had
[00:36:41] literally like no friends like none okay
[00:36:43] I was super weird I had horrible acne I
[00:36:47] got along with people's parents way
[00:36:49] better than I got along with them my mom
[00:36:51] forced me to join speech and debate
[00:36:53] competitive speech and debate when I was
[00:36:54] a junior and I already had no friends so
[00:36:58] it was really really embarrassing that
[00:37:00] my mom was forcing me to show up to a
[00:37:02] random High School cafeteria and wear a
[00:37:04] suit and practice all of these speeches
[00:37:06] about Cambodian rice production and its
[00:37:09] impact on global GDP or the Constitution
[00:37:12] and all of these random things that no
[00:37:15] people my age were talking about and I
[00:37:17] learned and discovered about three weeks
[00:37:19] into speech and debate that if I really
[00:37:20] tried I could probably be pretty good at
[00:37:23] it and it ended up being my absolute
[00:37:25] favorite thing that I did in high school
[00:37:27] and it taught me and forced me to have
[00:37:29] to research 360 degrees of any issue I
[00:37:32] had to understand both perspectives both
[00:37:35] sides and be able to defend them because
[00:37:37] I never knew what I was going to have to
[00:37:39] defend until I got into a debate round
[00:37:41] and was told what side I would have to
[00:37:43] pick and I ended up going to Nationals a
[00:37:45] few times for speech and debate for the
[00:37:47] state of Colorado and was always
[00:37:49] personally interested in politics but
[00:37:51] didn't want to pursue it as a career
[00:37:52] basically long story short I literally
[00:37:54] wrote a book about my college experience
[00:37:56] that talks about why I got into all of
[00:37:58] this it's called front lines if you want
[00:38:00] to check it out but I was in the midst
[00:38:02] of organic chemistry and anatomy and
[00:38:05] cellular biology and was spending a lot
[00:38:07] more time talking about my professor's
[00:38:09] political opinions and why the First
[00:38:11] Amendment needed to be Rewritten and why
[00:38:13] the Constitution was the worst document
[00:38:15] of all time apparently then learning
[00:38:17] objective truth and learning science and
[00:38:19] I knew statistically in a campus of 33
[00:38:22] 000 people there had to be other people
[00:38:24] who agreed with me and I wasn't alone in
[00:38:26] my values so I started a TP USA chapter
[00:38:29] a lot like this one on my college campus

[00:38:33] Kirk and Candace Owens her first ever
[00:38:36] speaking event on a college campus
[00:38:37] Dennis Prager who later would become my
[00:38:40] boss at prageru got violently attacked
[00:38:42] by antifa this is the like 30 000 foot
[00:38:45] level of the story but discovered our
[00:38:47] generation is really hungry for dialogue
[00:38:49] and really hungry to challenge our
[00:38:51] perspectives and overwhelmingly in
[00:38:53] culture from entertainment to education
[00:38:55] to social media to Broadcast News and
[00:38:58] journalism to politics and even in many
[00:39:00] aspects the church the left controls
[00:39:03] every aspect of culture and we're
[00:39:05] looking for something to be
[00:39:06] counter-cultural to challenge The
[00:39:08] Narrative to be a little bit punk rock
[00:39:10] turns out the most punk rock
[00:39:11] counter-cultural cool thing you can do
[00:39:13] in 2023 America is to be a Traditional
[00:39:17] Values conservative who knew so I fell
[00:39:19] in love with that and fell in love with
[00:39:21] advocacy for my generation started doing
