[00:00:00] all right guys welcome to a special [00:00:02] episode of Candace I'm always reading [00:00:04] your comments so many people ask me [00:00:06] Candace when are you going to share your [00:00:08] conversion story why the Catholic Church [00:00:11] how did you get there you guys are [00:00:13] definitely sensing that there has been a [00:00:15] change in me over the last year and [00:00:17] there certainly has been a change in me [00:00:18] in the last year and while I'm still not [00:00:20] fully there yet and ready to talk about [00:00:22] that story I can tell you for sure that [00:00:24] the expression that to become a student [00:00:26] of History means to become a Catholic is [00:00:29] something that I have taken to heart and [00:00:30] that I believe to be real there are a [00:00:32] lot of aspects right now of people [00:00:35] recognizing that we are in this [00:00:36] spiritual battle we can't make sense of [00:00:38] a lot of the things that are happening [00:00:39] here in the west why would people want [00:00:41] to implement the sorts of changes that [00:00:43] we're seeing why does it feel like we're [00:00:45] fighting for our children from the state [00:00:47] how did we get into this predicament so [00:00:49] quickly you feel it I feel it and we're [00:00:52] all searching for answers and I believe [00:00:54] the answer really can be found in the [00:00:57] Bible there's nothing new Under the Sun [00:01:00] but what really does that mean a lot of [00:01:03] history I believe has been hidden I've [00:01:05] been particularly interested in the [00:01:08] history of Christianity the things that [00:01:10] we don't learn in our textbooks at [00:01:13] school and it is my belief that it has [00:01:17] been is and forever will be a war [00:01:20] against Christ and so one moment in [00:01:24] history that I'd like to speak about a [00:01:25] long moment in history is the Soviet [00:01:27] Union we don't learn enough about what [00:01:30] happened in the Soviet Union the the [00:01:31] victims of the Soviet Union and really [00:01:34] what happened to the people that were [00:01:36] executing those punishments those deaths [00:01:40] today I am so honored to have a [00:01:43] conversation with somebody who is well [00:01:44] equipped to speak about that time in [00:01:47] history his Excellency Bishop Schneider [00:01:50] is here to join me welcome to Candace [00:01:53] thank you goodness so I am just thrilled [00:01:56] to have you and I guess a perfect place [00:01:58] to start would just be before we get [00:02:00] into your background have you heard like [00:02:04] what I just said about Americans not [00:02:05] knowing much about the Soviet Union does [00:02:07] that strike you as odd or did you kind [00:02:09] of know that the West Was in a little [00:02:11] bit of a [00:02:12] bubble yes I have this sensation I grew [00:02:16] up in the Soviet Union I know I had uh [00:02:20] the Communist school and I passed all [00:02:23] the [00:02:25] indoctrination of the Communist [00:02:27] system and my par parents were also [00:02:30] persecuted by the and my grandp parents [00:02:35] by the [00:02:36] Communists and so and later I was still [00:02:40] in high school we could immigrate from [00:02:43] the Soviet Union to West Germany to the [00:02:46] Western [00:02:48] World and there [00:02:50] slowly I [00:02:52] discovered such elements of the Soviet [00:02:57] dictatorship methods even in the Western [00:03:01] World it means the a kind of to [00:03:07] totalitarianism so it must be a [00:03:11] totalitarian [00:03:12] system so only one way of thinking and [00:03:17] it was imposed in my time in Soviet [00:03:20] Union by all [00:03:21] means of Television of radio of [00:03:25] newspapers all was in the hand of only [00:03:27] one [00:03:28] thinking and when you D to decline from [00:03:33] this line one you were [00:03:37] suddenly declared by the system Soviet [00:03:43] Union as an enemy so as a dangerous [00:03:48] person even they had said maybe you have [00:03:52] you are a [00:03:53] spy of the western world you are um [00:03:58] making conspiracy even this this concept [00:04:01] of conspiracy was very much used in my [00:04:06] time uh by the Soviet Union [00:04:09] dictators to Simply intimidate [00:04:13] people and uh to shut them down in uh in [00:04:19] the [00:04:21] public and so I can recognize especially [00:04:26] now in our current time in the western [00:04:29] world [00:04:30] a growing [00:04:31] increasing elements of a true [00:04:36] dictatorship and not only dictatorship [00:04:39] but [00:04:41] totalitarian system and an [00:04:44] intolerance by the name of [00:04:47] Tolerance and [00:04:49] freedom we are now living in the Western [00:04:52] World to be oppressed to [00:04:56] be [00:04:58] declared he [00:05:01] speech or enemies or conspiracy people [00:05:05] the same Concepts the same methods were [00:05:09] used since Lenin Stalin and all the time [00:05:13] of the Soviet Union and also a kind [00:05:18] of uh sarcastic methods I [00:05:23] mean in my time Soviet Union they [00:05:27] proclaimed always we are the most free [00:05:29] Freedom we have the greatest freedom in [00:05:32] the world Soviet Union and for with [00:05:36] gulak it means camps of [00:05:40] concentration and in the same time they [00:05:43] proclaimed all the day we are the freest [00:05:47] country in the world for [00:05:51] example when Stalin built up the most [00:05:54] horrible [00:05:56] gulak where my grandfather was also in [00:06:00] prisoned um he [00:06:03] made uh he asked to compose a song which [00:06:07] must had to be sung in all schools [00:06:10] universities and [00:06:13] workplaces and this song well it was a [00:06:17] beautiful music but the text was [00:06:21] saying uh Soviet Union the communism is [00:06:25] such a beautiful [00:06:27] place and I do not know another country [00:06:31] where people can breathe so [00:06:34] freely full this Camp of [00:06:38] concentrations people labeled and Target [00:06:41] as enemies as conspiracy and so on so [00:06:45] therefore we have to be [00:06:47] aware in our day in our Western society [00:06:51] and of these existing already [00:06:54] methods of Soviet dictatorship Communist [00:06:58] dictatorship which already infiltrated [00:07:01] so much our public life political life [00:07:06] social life in the Western countries you [00:07:09] know when I look back on my public [00:07:12] education and I realize that I took [00:07:15] years and years of history and I learned [00:07:16] nothing and I realized that within [00:07:19] American culture we have almost a lack [00:07:21] of reverence for history we pull down [00:07:23] old buildings we we put up new ones um [00:07:26] that are glossy and everything is is [00:07:28] quite modern [00:07:30] I realize that this is intentional that [00:07:32] they don't want us to explore true [00:07:34] history to have a reverence for history [00:07:36] because from knowing the history you can [00:07:39] avoid certain traps in the future so [00:07:41] when I hear you describing the Soviet [00:07:42] Union and it sounds exactly like America [00:07:45] today exactly like the West today the [00:07:48] proclamation of Freedom we've never been [00:07:50] more free we don't want to be like this [00:07:51] other country and yet I not just me [00:07:54] everyone senses this squeeze we don't [00:07:57] actually feel more free we've actually [00:07:59] maybe never felt more restricted um it [00:08:03] scares me and it it makes me want to [00:08:05] really elaborate on what happened in [00:08:09] Russia so were was it your grandparents [00:08:13] that were alive when the SAR was [00:08:17] assassinated uh yes they were alive yes [00:08:21] and what happened I guess so what [00:08:25] happened thereafter what was that period [00:08:27] of time like for your grandmother [00:08:30] yes it was a a a period of [00:08:34] Anarchy of Simply [00:08:39] violence on the on the side of the [00:08:42] government uh arbitrary vience [00:08:46] completely the people were had no sense [00:08:50] of to be [00:08:54] protected and so especially the Stalin [00:08:57] started [00:08:59] uh [00:09:01] systematic um genocide I would even say [00:09:05] in 36 37 these were the darkest years [00:09:11] and he called this cynically a perge a [00:09:15] cleansing of the Soviet Society of [00:09:19] enemies or potential enemies he declared [00:09:22] they must they could be a potential [00:09:24] enemy simply innocent [00:09:27] people so the potential enemy of for [00:09:30] Stalin where and then his [00:09:34] other Soviet [00:09:36] dictators um [00:09:40] priests because it must be established a [00:09:44] atheist Society therefore priests are [00:09:46] the first [00:09:47] enemies then in the intelligencia [00:09:51] intelligent people for example in the [00:09:55] gulak in klak this is was a famous gulak [00:09:59] in Kazakhstan where I am now [00:10:02] living and soja niton wrote about klak [00:10:06] also Stalin deported there in the 30s [00:10:11] one of the best scientists from some [00:10:15] Peterburg in Moscow in prison there they [00:10:19] were too intelligent for the Soviet [00:10:22] system why because they were thinkinking [00:10:26] independently so when you are thinking [00:10:30] independently you are a dangerous person [00:10:33] for a dictator and so it was and the [00:10:36] others third [00:10:38] category where the people who had some [00:10:42] wealth or some properties because it [00:10:46] contradicts the Communist [00:10:49] system and so uh and in these um 2 years [00:10:54] Stalin killed more or less 20 million [00:11:00] own people not foreign [00:11:03] people and from my grandfather was a [00:11:07] victim in this so-called cleansing perch [00:11:11] system simply because he was a Catholic [00:11:16] a Believer he was a German and he had [00:11:20] some wealth some [00:11:23] lands and he was killed when he was a [00:11:26] young man young married man and father [00:11:30] of family 27 year old and my grandmother [00:11:34] she remained a widow with 25 with two [00:11:38] little children my par my father and his [00:11:42] brother and so but when the system [00:11:46] communist system started after the [00:11:48] assassination of the tar [00:11:51] family and [00:11:53] Lenin they [00:11:55] proclaimed that now will we will bring [00:11:58] the Paradise on Earth really I remember [00:12:02] these slogans in my school communism [00:12:06] brought Paradise on [00:12:09] Earth and Lenin he [00:12:13] invented the system of so-called camps [00:12:17] of [00:12:18] concentration or they were called gulak [00:12:22] later and now I'm living in aana in the [00:12:25] the capital city of Kazakhstan and close [00:12:30] to the capital city there was a special [00:12:32] gulak special gulak only for women a [00:12:36] female gulak which was [00:12:40] called Camp of concentration for the [00:12:44] wives of the treaures of the [00:12:48] Homeland [00:12:49] so simple fact that their husbands were [00:12:53] declared enemies or conspiracy people [00:12:57] even if they were not enemies not [00:13:00] conspiracy simply that they were [00:13:02] declared for this fact the [00:13:06] Vives were [00:13:08] arrested and put in this gulak not only [00:13:12] wives the daughters of this man the [00:13:15] sisters of these man of these so-called [00:13:19] enemies of the of the Homeland and now [00:13:23] there is a very impressive Museum people [00:13:27] can look these Horrors [00:13:30] When [00:13:30] You observe how these poor innocent [00:13:35] women were tortured were [00:13:39] humiliated I think I several times I [00:13:43] visit this Museum I must cry it is so [00:13:49] touching because these are [00:13:51] mothers innocent they had children and [00:13:56] even [00:13:57] somewhere uh pregn [00:14:00] arrested and they gave birth in the in [00:14:03] the camp of concentration and they could [00:14:06] not they had nothing to to give food for [00:14:09] the children and so in their eyes the [00:14:12] children were [00:14:14] dying and it was [00:14:17] horrible and [00:14:19] therefore I repeat we must do all what [00:14:22] we can with all the forces of good [00:14:27] people of good will Christians and [00:14:30] others to make a common [00:14:35] alliance against the already [00:14:40] existing [00:14:41] dictatorship in the Western [00:14:44] countries and the cruel methods of [00:14:47] killing people innocent people first The [00:14:51] Unborn our unborn [00:14:55] citizens already they are citizens our [00:14:58] who are are yet not born but they are [00:15:00] living alive and they are killed in a [00:15:05] horrible [00:15:07] systematic cruel way in the western [00:15:11] society and then also another [00:15:15] element [00:15:17] the the destruction of family they [00:15:20] started already uh the [00:15:24] Communists they took away the children [00:15:27] from the parents to to educate them in [00:15:30] the new IDE [00:15:33] ideology to brainwash them and um and so [00:15:40] even Marx and [00:15:43] Lenin uh Marx Angel and [00:15:46] Lenin they [00:15:48] wrote that this EST established [00:15:52] communist system in the Soviet will [00:15:55] which will be established they predicted [00:15:57] it in some way that but the first step [00:16:01] will be um the ateism to spread and the [00:16:08] Communist system the economical economy [00:16:11] and political so and then they said this [00:16:15] will be not the [00:16:17] end and angles and marks wrote Our aim [00:16:21] will [00:16:22] be the last aim of Communism will be to [00:16:26] destroy completely fam [00:16:30] and now we are seeing all is going on [00:16:35] the direct destruction of family of [00:16:39] marriage why the the Communist the last [00:16:43] goal will be because when you destroy [00:16:48] family then you have a real Society of [00:16:54] slaves the the family is the last bwork [00:16:57] against dictator ship and [00:17:00] slavery when you have an [00:17:03] independent uh healthy [00:17:06] family this is for a dictator a [00:17:10] dictatorial system a [00:17:12] danger and so destroying family marriage [00:17:17] it's this is for the dictators the best [00:17:20] method to have an entire Society of [00:17:25] slaves and we must do all what we can [00:17:29] not to be [00:17:31] slaves I mean so social and political [00:17:33] slaves and then of course maybe we will [00:17:37] speak also of the spiritual slaves this at [00:18:55] this um didn't see the big picture which [00:18:57] really you know God versus Satan but I [00:19:01] would always say the left if you really [00:19:04] want to understand the chaos of [00:19:05] everything that's going on what connects [00:19:08] it all it actually isn't chaotic it's [00:19:10] it's methodical and it's an attack on [00:19:12] the family you know looking at why [00:19:14] they're trying to pull parents away from [00:19:16] their children um you're looking at why [00:19:18] they're pushing these themes of [00:19:20] transgenderism and you know these kids [00:19:23] going through these procedures which [00:19:24] would render them unable to produce [00:19:26] families into the future virtually [00:19:29] everything even climate change which has [00:19:31] become something of its own religion [00:19:33] they encourage these kids they say well [00:19:35] you know the planet's not going to be [00:19:37] here in 10 years so it would be selfish [00:19:38] for you to have a family and these kids [00:19:40] speak about how they're going to be [00:19:42] responsible and not have kids when they [00:19:43] get older so I I see all of those themes [00:19:47] and when you revisit it you look at what [00:19:50] happened in Russia and I do believe that [00:19:53] you know Alexander Soul asks this [00:19:55] question what happened to these [00:19:57] administers these admin ators of this [00:19:59] great evil where did they go they had a [00:20:02] a certain blood lust for evil that is [00:20:04] difficult to describe and we don't learn [00:20:06] about it in America we have all of these [00:20:08] motion pictures uh making us emotional [00:20:11] about different points in history but [00:20:13] they skip over this glaring obvious and [00:20:16] I really do believe you know the [00:20:17] Bolshevik Revolution it was it was just [00:20:20] a certain kind of evil that was [00:20:21] unmatched throughout history and I want [00:20:24] to talk about the Christ element because [00:20:26] this is very important because it was a [00:20:28] war on Christians but before we do can [00:20:31] you just describe some of the things [00:20:33] that happened for people that have never [00:20:35] heard it and there are many people who [00:20:36] have never heard this what happened in [00:20:39] the gulag [00:20:40] camps yes well uh the people were they [00:20:46] tortured they were [00:20:49] humiliated they were stripped of their [00:20:52] Dignity of human dignity the fundamental [00:20:56] human dignity they had to work real um [00:21:00] incredible hard work as [00:21:04] slaves [00:21:05] and many died there simply out of of [00:21:11] because of these um [00:21:15] conditions and uh and especially in the [00:21:19] guls they were forbidden any religious [00:21:22] uh meetings or acts of to manifest your [00:21:26] faith or with others [00:21:29] and now I tell a [00:21:30] story of a lady a German lady her name [00:21:35] was gatr deel in [00:21:39] Kazakhstan she was um a beautiful soul [00:21:43] during the persecution when they were no [00:21:45] priest priests were in prison she went [00:21:50] um secretly to the families and was [00:21:53] teaching the catechism to the Children [00:21:55] and Youth and this was forbidden it was [00:21:58] dangerous [00:21:59] and she was so active that the police [00:22:04] arrested her and asked her you must stop [00:22:08] to teach the [00:22:10] catechism otherwise we will put you in [00:22:13] the gulak and she said no I cannot stop [00:22:17] I must Proclaim I must give to the [00:22:20] children this teaching and then she was [00:22:23] arrested in a horrible gulak but what [00:22:26] she did in her this was a female gulak [00:22:31] and in the huge dormitory where they [00:22:34] were sleeping the ladies [00:22:37] different confessions and even some were [00:22:41] not [00:22:42] believing she managed that the entire [00:22:46] dormitory they had every every evening [00:22:50] prayers common [00:22:52] prayers and she did [00:22:55] it and then she was called during the [00:22:59] night to interrogate by the Secret [00:23:03] Service to during the day she had to [00:23:05] work a very hard work like a man [00:23:10] exhausted then she prayed then she [00:23:12] catechized the people there and then [00:23:15] during the night she was spiritually [00:23:17] tortured all the Night by by the [00:23:21] interrogatories and what she [00:23:24] did she even wanted to catechize the [00:23:27] tortur [00:23:30] and then one day she was called in the [00:23:33] night again for these interrogatories [00:23:35] very [00:23:36] humiliating and suddenly she asked the [00:23:39] the chief officer oh and he's the other [00:23:42] man do you know what day is [00:23:45] today h 25th of April no today is the [00:23:51] Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord into [00:23:54] heaven what does mean this I explain you [00:23:58] and she started to catechize them about [00:24:00] Christ his resurrection and Ascension [00:24:03] and all and she had such a power of word [00:24:07] that they were simply silent they were [00:24:11] in kind of shock and so she catechized [00:24:15] them and then when they are awakened [00:24:18] they said oh this lady is too dangerous [00:24:21] for us and then they prefer to free her [00:24:24] from the camp of concentration rather [00:24:26] than that she will evangelize is the [00:24:28] others such a beautiful example we had [00:24:32] also in in midst of the horrible [00:24:36] situation we had [00:24:38] also God helped uh his servants and even [00:24:43] priests were able to to celebrate Mass [00:24:49] secretly and God protected them it's [00:24:53] it's hard to even comprehend this this [00:24:56] sort of Bravery you know I always think [00:24:59] it's quite strange when people think [00:25:01] that it's bravery to speak out on a [00:25:03] podcast because when you weigh it [00:25:05] against The Bravery of people who were [00:25:07] quite literally putting their lives on [00:25:09] the line uh to stand up for their faith [00:25:12] I I just think these are stories that [00:25:13] need to be told uh your grandmother was [00:25:15] one of these people you said your [00:25:17] grandfather was killed at the age of 27 [00:25:20] and your grandmother also took a stand [00:25:22] for her faith didn't she yes my [00:25:25] grandmother perpetua Schneider [00:25:29] when my grandfather Sebastian was killed [00:25:32] 7 27 year [00:25:35] old uh she had first days to hide [00:25:38] because the police could also arrest her [00:25:41] and take away the [00:25:43] children but she remained in her house [00:25:46] and she had a lot of holy pictures on [00:25:48] the [00:25:50] walls and then came the police with guns [00:25:54] to check the house because she was [00:25:55] declared also as an enemy of because she [00:25:58] was the the wife of an enemy traiter of [00:26:01] the Homeland and so these policemen came [00:26:04] and he saw the holy pictures in icons [00:26:08] and gave the order to her to take away [00:26:11] these [00:26:12] pictures and she said no I will not do [00:26:15] this he said yes to must do we are [00:26:18] living in an atheist [00:26:21] society and then the policeman went to [00:26:23] the wall and wanted to take off the [00:26:27] picture himself and in this moment my [00:26:29] grandmother shouted on him and said you [00:26:33] did not put this picture on the wall and [00:26:36] you have not the right to take it [00:26:39] off and even so she was a very timid [00:26:42] person all her life she never raised her [00:26:45] voice but in this moment God gave her [00:26:48] such a [00:26:49] power even confronting these policemen [00:26:53] with the gun and the little children she [00:26:58] she had no [00:26:59] fear and so in this moment I think that [00:27:03] God intervened this moment this [00:27:05] policeman was like in a shock because at [00:27:09] that time never there because it was the [00:27:12] time of the terror cleansing all the and [00:27:15] the police were going and shouting to [00:27:18] the [00:27:19] people in this moment he was the [00:27:22] policeman quite of shock and did not [00:27:25] speak nothing and silently left [00:27:29] house and so God protected the vidows [00:27:32] and orphans but especially those who [00:27:35] serve him and who have the courage to [00:27:38] witness God she was willing to die for [00:27:41] her faith yes which I think is something [00:27:43] that is just so incredible and so it [00:27:45] leads me to the question when you [00:27:47] examine this time period what is it that [00:27:51] made them focus on Christians right away [00:27:53] I mean thousands of priests killed in [00:27:56] incredibly graphic ways uh you know they [00:27:59] wanted to make sure the public knew that [00:28:01] it was not okay to be a Christian I mean [00:28:04] even if you're an evil dictator logic [00:28:07] would say okay if they want to keep [00:28:08] their objects and they want to keep [00:28:10] their cross I don't care as long as they [00:28:11] get into line what is it specifically [00:28:14] about the faith that was something that [00:28:17] this government understood had to be [00:28:20] eliminated yes because the religious SS [00:28:23] and the faith they the Communist [00:28:27] dictators they perceived as a danger for [00:28:30] them an obstacle [00:28:34] to for the [00:28:37] totalitarianism ideological [00:28:38] totalitarianism so the Communist system [00:28:41] was a repat totalitarian it must be all [00:28:44] the same way of [00:28:46] thinking but when there are other people [00:28:48] who are not atheists who are really [00:28:50] opposing atheism with their style of [00:28:53] life with professing their faith to have [00:28:56] religious SS to wear a cross or to have [00:28:58] in the houses uh holy pictures or to [00:29:02] build and to [00:29:04] celebrate worship and so on it was [00:29:08] perceived by the dictators as an [00:29:10] obstacle for the achievement of a [00:29:14] totalitarian new atheist materialistic [00:29:19] Society back to that it's a St Augustine [00:29:23] the city of God versus the city of man [00:29:26] and there is a particular if you're [00:29:27] trying to enslave mankind there is a [00:29:31] freedom that comes with knowing the Lord [00:29:35] and they they can't have people [00:29:36] experiencing that freedom if you want to [00:29:38] turn them all into robots and so when I [00:29:42] see what happened there and this focus [00:29:45] on Christianity and I recognize that [00:29:48] we're learning this in the west barely [00:29:50] they've completely removed the Christian [00:29:52] story from this um you almost are not [00:29:55] allowed to talk about things that [00:29:56] Christians have lived through in the [00:29:57] past past particularly Catholics I would [00:29:59] say have lived through in the past uh [00:30:01] and one of the tools in which they use [00:30:04] it's funny that you brought up the media [00:30:06] and the books as this this Soviet [00:30:09] propaganda and the Soviet training one [00:30:11] of the tools that they do use as a I [00:30:14] guess a more modernized there was something about that that felt [00:36:32] so demonic to me of you're just saying [00:36:34] implicitly almost as if the science has [00:36:37] become this Pagan God and I do believe there's so much that they have been able [00:36:51] to accomplish evil in my view in Western [00:36:54] Society under the guise of science [00:36:56] because what they do is they then teach [00:36:59] it to people in school and people then [00:37:01] view that as a token of their education [00:37:04] well I learned that six feet social [00:37:06] distancing is right so it can't be wrong [00:37:08] well I learned that you know I'm someone [00:37:10] that speaks against you know the vaccine [00:37:13] industry really well I learned in [00:37:15] medical school that as soon as the child [00:37:17] comes out there's something wrong with [00:37:19] it and they need all these injections [00:37:21] and so to hear that they even [00:37:23] manipulated science and tried to say [00:37:25] atheism is actually scientific [00:37:28] is really something I've never heard of [00:37:30] before that is fascinating it was very [00:37:33] famous and you had to make exam to pass [00:37:37] for example [00:37:38] in University [00:37:41] degree to graduate in you had to to do [00:37:46] the exam on scientific [00:37:50] AES otherwise you would not obtain a [00:37:54] great wow and they I mean they're doing [00:37:57] this in terms of history and this this [00:37:59] becomes the threat of the education [00:38:01] system because I do believe that what [00:38:05] we're existing under is Soviet [00:38:07] propaganda um when I examine again my [00:38:09] own childhood and how I learned things [00:38:12] where everything they do as long as they [00:38:14] say that there's a statistic the [00:38:27] ad bom and I I'm very very against it I [00:38:31] agree with Tucker Carlson on this [00:38:32] especially because we dropped it in [00:38:34] Nagasaki on praying Catholics so maybe I [00:38:36] have a Catholic bias there um but you [00:38:39] know they teach in school if we didn't [00:38:40] do that then the war wouldn't have ended [00:38:42] right and so it's now become this sort [00:38:44] of scientific understanding statistical [00:38:47] understanding that more people way more [00:38:48] people would have died if we didn't do [00:38:50] this and people commit to that idea concept of authority and this is [00:41:47] what's wrong and what's backwards about [00:41:49] the Catholic faith and we do learn this [00:41:50] in school there's cath the [00:41:53] Catholics are a a implicit enemy in our [00:41:57] textbooks everything this was the old [00:41:59] world the Dark Ages the and now we have [00:42:02] science and it's modern and we don't [00:42:04] need God because [00:49:01] another Catholic teaching when I [00:49:03] developed really strong a really strong [00:49:06] understanding that pornography is an [00:49:07] evil yet I learned in school can you [00:49:10] believe this in school in America you [00:49:12] learn when you are in high school that [00:49:13] watching pornography is healthy this is [00:49:16] science it's healthy to watch a little [00:49:19] bit of pornography um and now I look [00:49:21] back on that and I just go what a a [00:49:24] tremendous evil to teach that to [00:49:27] children well at the same time using the [00:49:29] media again another tool to promote [00:49:32] pornography even in its minor forms like [00:49:35] everything is now softcore pornography [00:49:37] in the advertisements it's softcore [00:49:39] pornography when you're reading the news [00:49:41] I mean just the way people dress [00:49:43] everything has become pornographic and [00:49:45] it's intentional and it's evil and it's [00:49:48] demonic and it is it is an attack on the [00:49:51] institution of the family exactly [00:49:54] especially pornography is one of the [00:49:57] most dangerous spiritual [00:50:00] poisons so they are giving poison to our [00:50:04] children this is [00:50:06] Criminal we have to we have to State [00:50:10] this the the [00:50:12] authorities we must protest against this [00:50:15] we free and then [00:59:12] you have no [00:59:14] fear then you are [00:59:16] fearless then you fear only [00:59:19] God that is true freedom I do want to [00:59:23] ask you briefly about some of the I [00:59:25] guess internal struggle if you want to [00:59:28] call internal conflicts of the Catholic [00:59:31] Church which I think a lot of people are [00:59:32] speaking about today and um you are [00:59:35] known publicly they will speak about [00:59:38] certain Bishops and prev Vatican IDE [00:59:41] prev Vatican 2 part and ideas and when I [00:59:44] think about America in the 60s as I'm [00:59:47] starting to relearn history I definitely [00:59:49] do think that the' 60s it's an important [00:59:52] decade there were a lot of significant [00:59:53] changes that happened in my country um [00:59:56] and of course obviously the Vatican 2 [00:59:58] Council and so what does that mean for [01:00:00] people that many people who watch the [01:00:02] show who are not Catholic when the you [01:00:05] are being described maybe you don't [01:00:06] agree with that description as someone [01:00:09] who is prev Vatican [01:00:12] 2 and what does that mean to you that [01:00:14] that public description of you well this [01:00:17] is not the exact term pratic 2 I'm [01:00:22] simply trying to be faithful to Jesus [01:00:26] Christ Jesus Christ is more important [01:00:29] than a a councel Jesus Christ is more [01:00:32] important than a pope the truth will set [01:00:36] you [01:00:37] free and I'm [01:00:40] simply trying to be faithful to my [01:00:44] identity [01:00:46] Catholic and Catholic means what all [01:00:51] believed in all times in the same way in [01:00:56] all [01:00:58] places and and uh [01:01:02] always so this is Catholic and I will [01:01:05] not uh accept [01:01:08] Novelties which will undermine this [01:01:11] treasure which is not my [01:01:15] invention but which is a gift of our [01:01:18] Lord Jesus [01:01:19] Christ of God himself who gave us so [01:01:24] generously [01:01:26] revealed us his Divine [01:01:30] truth and this Divine truth were [01:01:34] entrusted to the [01:01:36] apostles and they handed it over and the [01:01:41] church until the second coming of Christ [01:01:45] in the same sense in the same [01:01:49] meaning we can only deepening the faith [01:01:53] but [01:01:54] not uh doing the undermining or [01:02:00] ambiguous the church task is to present [01:02:04] ever more clearly the Beauty and [01:02:08] the the [01:02:11] immutability of the Divine truth because [01:02:13] the truth is beauty and it attracts [01:02:17] you and so the church first task most [01:02:22] severe task is to keep trans [01:02:26] MIT [01:02:28] integrally inviolably [01:02:31] this Divine Treasure of [01:02:34] Truth and [01:02:38] therefore I [01:02:40] stick to not my opinion not to the [01:02:44] so-called praan opinion but to the [01:02:47] Divine truth which the church the Saints [01:02:51] the innumerable Saints for 2,000 years [01:02:56] believed proclaimed in the same sense [01:03:00] the same meaning always and for which in [01:03:04] numerous countless Martyrs gave their [01:03:09] life for the truth and this is [01:03:13] worthwhile to live for the truth and so [01:03:17] when someone will [01:03:19] therefore label me as PR Vatican 2 it [01:03:23] has for me absolutely no meaning [01:03:26] I am happy to be labeled so as long as I [01:03:30] am with Christ and with the truth and [01:03:32] with all the saints of the past it's [01:03:35] true the the the labeling doesn't [01:03:36] actually mean anything at all when you [01:03:38] find the truth and it's funny because [01:03:41] you I I find that a lot of times people [01:03:44] can wrongly attribute having faith and [01:03:47] really just having an understanding of [01:03:48] the truth as a form of radicalism like [01:03:50] this person has been radicalized and [01:03:52] actually I agree I think the truth is [01:03:55] radical times of tremendous deceit like [01:03:57] the truth is radical it's it's a radical [01:04:00] when you're when you're standing up in a [01:04:03] system of Lies exactly and [01:04:06] the the problem with Vatican to was that [01:04:10] at that [01:04:12] time Paul John 20 20 23rd and Paul the 6 [01:04:18] with the council they wanted in some [01:04:20] way to [01:04:22] please the modern world [01:04:26] to ask sympathies from the world but [01:04:30] this is [01:04:32] unworthy Jesus Christ did not ask [01:04:36] sympathy from the world the apostles did [01:04:40] not ask sympathy from the world Jesus [01:04:45] Christ said you will be always [01:04:48] persecuted by the world these are the [01:04:50] Divine words of our Lord Jesus Christ [01:04:54] and we have Apostle said if someone [01:04:57] would like to be [01:05:00] a a friend of the world he becomes an [01:05:05] enemy of God it is written in the New [01:05:09] Testament and so I follow [01:05:11] this and St atanus a great Saint from [01:05:16] the fourth Century who almost alone with [01:05:20] few Bishops defended in the fourth [01:05:24] Century the truth of the Divinity of our [01:05:26] Lord Jesus Christ against [01:05:30] the the spread heresy of the Aran who [01:05:35] denied the Divinity of our Lord Jesus [01:05:38] Christ these great Saint he said [01:05:41] if the entire [01:05:44] world would be against the Divinity of [01:05:48] Jesus Christ the entire church entire [01:05:51] world then I will believe in the [01:05:55] divinity of Jesus Christ and therefore I [01:05:57] will be against the entire [01:06:01] world and so he also coin this [01:06:06] expression it is not [01:06:08] fitting that we Christians and the more [01:06:12] Bishops are serving the [01:06:15] time we must serve the [01:06:18] Lord that was actually one of the small [01:06:21] things that added up for me I think that [01:06:24] Drew me to the the Catholic faith was [01:06:26] sort of seeing that as a Protestant when [01:06:30] you go to to church on a Sunday [01:06:32] everything's become quite modern it [01:06:34] seems like you're kind of meeting the [01:06:35] times and I don't say this with any ill [01:06:37] will in my heart am I'm grateful for the [01:06:39] time that I spent as a Protestant I [01:06:41] think it was another step a guide but I [01:06:43] did sort of wake up one day and just go [01:06:45] this is really modern this feels like a [01:06:47] modern pop concert and if we're updating [01:06:50] ourselves to the times you know what are [01:06:53] are we teaching history or are we just [01:06:54] going to keep moving moving the goal [01:06:56] post and I think it was pretty obvious [01:06:58] that things kept moving and and then I [01:07:01] tried to really comprehend why it is and [01:07:04] it is evident that there is so much [01:07:08] hatred and disdain for Catholics and I [01:07:12] think the answer is because Catholics [01:07:15] have been the keepers of History yes [01:07:17] exactly and there is a beautiful text [01:07:21] from the 2 [01:07:23] Century from [01:07:25] a letter which is called letter to [01:07:28] diognetus it's an anonymous writer and [01:07:32] one of these um chapter [01:07:36] says second century you know it was [01:07:39] paganism the Christians were a small [01:07:41] tiny community and persecuted and hate [01:07:46] hated and [01:07:48] disdained and this author [01:07:51] says what the soul is for the [01:07:56] body these are the Christians for the [01:07:59] entire [01:08:02] world [01:08:04] and all hate the [01:08:07] Christians and when you ask them why you [01:08:10] hate us they cannot say the reason why [01:08:15] you are they are [01:08:17] hated and so this is a very fitting uh [01:08:22] expression observation of an author [01:08:24] Christian author from the 2 century and [01:08:27] is quite timely for our time also the [01:08:31] Christians must be the [01:08:34] soul what the soul is animating giving [01:08:38] life for the [01:08:39] body so the Christians the presence of [01:08:42] the Christians must be this power of [01:08:47] giving spiritual life animating the [01:08:51] society but also be always aware that we [01:08:55] are hated because Jesus Christ the son [01:08:59] of God himself was hated because of the [01:09:04] truth but on the other [01:09:08] side we must be [01:09:11] convinced and sure of our [01:09:14] faith and [01:09:16] know that we are the winners but Christ [01:09:20] is the [01:09:22] winner and we are his [01:09:26] followers and we are already the true [01:09:29] Christians even so we are called the [01:09:32] militant church here in Earth we are [01:09:36] already with the army of the [01:09:40] winners you also just published another [01:09:43] book can you tell us about it yes this [01:09:47] is the book it's the title Christos [01:09:50] winit a Latin title it means Christ wins [01:09:54] and this is a um a book interview with [01:09:58] Diane Montana which we did several years [01:10:01] ago where I also uh described my my life [01:10:08] during the Soviet [01:10:10] regime and my Priestly Ministry and [01:10:13] Episcopal Ministry and answered to some [01:10:17] uh current important issues and topics [01:10:20] of our life in the world and in the [01:10:22] church and this isn't the only book that [01:10:25] you publish published you also published [01:10:26] Creed um earlier than that yes this is [01:10:30] another book with the Latin titled Gro [01:10:33] it means I [01:10:35] believe it is a kind of compendium a [01:10:38] synthesis of the Catholic faith written [01:10:42] in a style of question and answers short [01:10:48] answers um covering all the important [01:10:53] themes of our Christian life the first [01:10:56] part is what we have to believe the [01:11:00] second part how we have to live what we [01:11:03] believe so the morals ethics and the [01:11:07] third part how we must pray in a right [01:11:10] of manner so it is a all linked together [01:11:14] and all the book is in the question and [01:11:16] answer style where also [01:11:20] Incorporated current issues and themes [01:11:22] like the gender ideology and the [01:11:26] and other issues communism Marxism and [01:11:30] freemasonary and so on and so I hope [01:11:35] that it will be a help for people who [01:11:39] seriously honestly seek the truth right [01:11:43] and then also I published this year my [01:11:46] most recent book with the title flee [01:11:49] from heresy flee from heresy heresy [01:11:56] it's [01:11:57] um a kind of spiritual Distortion [01:12:02] Distortion of divine truth which God [01:12:05] revealed us or a denial or [01:12:08] distorted and so it hery it's a kind of [01:12:12] spiritual poison which is what was since [01:12:17] the beginning in the church spread in [01:12:19] even our day so much spread in the life [01:12:22] of the church so errors um ambiguities [01:12:26] distortions [01:12:28] denials all proceeding from a [01:12:32] subjectivistic egoistic [01:12:34] narcissistic uh point of view from [01:12:37] theologians even Bishops and we have to [01:12:40] address this simply to protect people [01:12:43] from the spiritual poisons and [01:12:47] deceits like a good uh physician and [01:12:50] doctor he will warn people of viruses [01:12:55] of dangerous [01:12:58] epidemic sicknesses and so on diseases [01:13:02] and the same a bishop must protect [01:13:05] people from the spiritual diseases and [01:13:09] give him something in the hand be [01:13:11] attentive there were and I enumerated [01:13:14] all the historical heresies and errors [01:13:17] which existed since the beginning of the [01:13:19] church until our [01:13:21] day and presented some answers to [01:13:24] current [01:13:26] uh topics and in the end of the book [01:13:30] flee from [01:13:31] heresy I presented Our Lady Mary the [01:13:35] Mother of God who protects us so these [01:13:39] are my three books which I would you [01:13:43] recommend okay we'll put the link in the [01:13:45] description for this video but for those say I have a [01:14:17] large audience of people who are not [01:14:19] Christians you know we I have tons of [01:14:22] mothers who watch this show um because I [01:14:25] speak a lot about children and being a [01:14:26] mom I have a lot of men who watch this [01:14:28] show because I speak about the sort of [01:14:30] this war on masculinity and those men [01:14:32] that are struggling with uh pornography [01:14:34] and realizing that something's wrong and [01:14:36] they haven't yet been pulled into any [01:14:38] church at all so what would you say to [01:14:41] to those listeners who are are watching [01:14:43] right now who are sensing the conflict [01:14:45] that we're in they're sensing that this [01:14:47] is a spiritual battle that something [01:14:48] grander and more evil is going on um and [01:14:51] they don't really have the tools or [01:14:53] really understand what to do and they [01:14:55] sometimes by the way feel quite [01:14:56] depressed about that that's a heavy [01:14:58] realization um of how dark and demonic [01:15:01] things are and and not really knowing [01:15:02] what to do yes I would advise these my [01:15:07] brothers and [01:15:08] sisters to [01:15:11] really honestly seriously [01:15:14] ask God your creator your Redeemer oh my [01:15:20] Lord give me the light to know the truth [01:15:25] because only the truth will set me free [01:15:29] only the truth will bring me [01:15:31] happiness and when you will pray such a [01:15:35] small serious [01:15:38] prayer [01:15:40] honestly God [01:15:42] will guide you and you will find the [01:15:46] fullness of [01:15:48] truth and the protection of God and His [01:15:53] grace because God created you for truth [01:15:58] God created you for love for the [01:16:02] fullness of Happiness as St Augustine [01:16:06] said oh [01:16:08] God you created us for [01:16:12] you [01:16:14] and our our [01:16:17] heart is as long will not [01:16:21] find uh his it's calm it its Tranquility [01:16:26] unless it finds you the Lord and so I [01:16:31] encourage you simply pray every day that [01:16:36] God May guide you reveal you the [01:16:40] fullness of [01:16:42] Truth so beautiful and so well said and [01:16:45] and before we go I think I would just [01:16:48] ask you to pray to to pray in conclusion [01:16:51] because I think people need to hear that [01:16:52] a prayer for them as well yes the most [01:16:54] beautiful prayer we know is the Our [01:16:56] father because this prayer gave came out [01:17:00] from the Divine mouth of our Lord Jesus [01:17:03] Christ and then this prayer is a [01:17:07] synthesis of all what we must do and we [01:17:12] what we need as we know the first three [01:17:16] uh petitions are to Proclaim God to [01:17:18] glorify him this is the main aim of our [01:17:22] life to glorify God when we serve him he [01:17:26] will give us so many Graces and so many [01:17:31] blessings and the the last petitions are [01:17:33] for our needs here on Earth so we will [01:17:38] pray together this [01:17:39] prayer in the name of the father and the [01:17:43] son and the holy spirit amen Our Father [01:17:49] who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name [01:17:52] thy kingdom come thy will be done on [01:17:56] Earth as it is in heaven give us this [01:17:59] day our daily bread and forgive us our [01:18:03] trespasses as we forgive those who [01:18:05] trespass against us and lead us not into [01:18:09] temptation but Deliver Us from Evil amen [01:18:13] glory be to the father and to the son [01:18:16] and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the [01:18:19] beginning is now and ever shall be World [01:18:22] Without End Amen in the name of the [01:18:26] father and the son and the holy spirit [01:18:30] amen amen ladies
