He turned down an [00:00:04] opportunity to be a law student at Duke [00:00:06] University Law School and he came here [00:00:10] and became a seminarian and Dr. King saw [00:00:13] something special in him because he was [00:00:15] organizing with Reverend James Bethl [00:00:18] and he said I see something special in [00:00:20] you. So a semester before he got his [00:00:22] masters in divinity which he ultimately [00:00:24] finished he went on to work for Dr. [00:00:27] King. So he had a godly calling, but he [00:00:31] had an assignment from Reverend Dr. [00:00:33] Martin Luther King, which he never [00:00:36] wavered from throughout his life.
