[00:00:00] Here with reaction in Washington, we
[00:00:02] have Wyoming Senator John Baraso,
[00:00:04] Alabama Senator Katie Britt, South
[00:00:06] Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham. Uh
[00:00:09] Senator Baraso, you you were saying it
[00:00:11] during the speech. That is well, first
[00:00:13] of all, what a difference a year makes.
[00:00:15] Uh a guy by the name of Joe Biden could
[00:00:17] not give that speech with the energy and
[00:00:19] the force of Donald Trump. You you
[00:00:22] called it political shock and awe. And
[00:00:25] that's what we've had for a year, shock
[00:00:26] and awe, with the president focused on
[00:00:28] the economy, focused on putting more
[00:00:30] people, more money in people's pockets,
[00:00:32] and as you heard him tonight, focused on
[00:00:34] affordability. We have reversed the
[00:00:36] direction of this country dramatically.
[00:00:38] On the border, the border is now secure.
[00:00:40] On energy, we're now energy dominant. On
[00:00:44] taxes, we prevented a $4 trillion tax
[00:00:46] increase that the Democrats were
[00:00:47] promoting. And on national security, it
[00:00:50] is now peace through strength. He
[00:00:52] inherited and we inherited as
[00:00:53] Republicans a country that was weaker,
[00:00:56] poorer, less safe. And we said we need
[00:00:58] to provide safety and prosperity. We've
[00:01:01] done that. The president talked about
[00:01:03] this major piece of legislation that we
[00:01:05] passed, the working families tax cuts.
[00:01:07] There are things in that for everyone.
[00:01:09] Tax cuts as well. No tax on tips, no tax
[00:01:12] on social security, no tax on overtime.
[00:01:15] These things are all going to continue
[00:01:16] to put more money in people's pockets
[00:01:18] and they really go into place in 2026.
[00:01:21] So next year is going to be better than
[00:01:23] this year.
[00:01:23] >> I Senator Brit, I'd look at this and and
[00:01:26] break it into categories.
[00:01:27] >> What the mess he was left,
[00:01:30] >> all that he's done, the [clears throat]
[00:01:31] difference in comparing and contrasting,
[00:01:33] I thought they very effectively used
[00:01:35] these charts tonight. Absolutely.
[00:01:36] >> Um and I I think they [clears throat]
[00:01:38] speak loudly to the American people
[00:01:40] because there's always an impatience,
[00:01:42] but his entire tax plan has not even
[00:01:44] gone into effect.
[00:01:45] >> Hasn't even gone into effect yet. That's
[00:01:46] exactly right. And you look at the
[00:01:47] contrast. I mean, that was outstanding.
[00:01:49] And you said it during the break. We
[00:01:51] talked about it. Uh President Oten uh
[00:01:54] that just left office could have never
[00:01:56] done that. He very clearly said to the
[00:01:58] American people, I see you and look at
[00:02:01] the things that we've done. What he has
[00:02:02] accomplished in just these first 10 11
[00:02:05] months is remarkable. But I think more
[00:02:08] is yet to come. Look, as a parent, I
[00:02:10] think about this. He secured our border.
[00:02:13] He did it. We passed the Lake and Riley
[00:02:15] Act. It's actually the first immigration
[00:02:17] enforcement law that we've passed in
[00:02:18] like 30 years. In addition to that, he
[00:02:21] has taken on fentanyl. How many kids are
[00:02:24] going to have to die before we actually
[00:02:26] take it serious? President Trump said,
[00:02:27] "I'm not talking about it. I am doing
[00:02:29] something about it." We've seen it from
[00:02:31] the border to what he's done with
[00:02:32] Venezuela. And and then you look at no
[00:02:35] men in women's sports. Look, I have a
[00:02:37] daughter who plays volleyball, who plays
[00:02:39] basketball. I want her to have a fair
[00:02:41] opportunity to compete on that court.
[00:02:44] And President Trump gave her that. You
[00:02:47] want them to feel safe in the locker
[00:02:48] room and you want them to have
[00:02:49] opportunity in in the arena. And he
[00:02:52] changed the dynamic on that. Look, we
[00:02:54] could go on and on. He talked about no
[00:02:56] indoctrination. We have said we want our
[00:02:58] kids to be educated, not indoctrinated.
[00:03:01] He has said our Department of Education
[00:03:02] is failing our next generation. And he's
[00:03:05] not just going to talk about it, he's
[00:03:07] going to do something. And tonight he
[00:03:09] laid out for the American people not
[00:03:11] only what he has done, but he has said
[00:03:12] there is more to come. It's things like
[00:03:14] the Trump accounts. Sean, look, as a new
[00:03:17] parent, if your child is born during the
[00:03:19] Trump administration, you're going to
[00:03:20] get $1,000 into this account. We're
[00:03:23] already seeing philanthropists step up.
[00:03:25] We're already seeing um different
[00:03:27] businesses saying, "I'm going to do this
[00:03:29] for my employees." So, he is creating
[00:03:31] this public private partnership that
[00:03:33] ultimately is going to allow everyday
[00:03:35] Americans to achieve the American dream.
[00:03:37] and having a piece of that and having a
[00:03:39] piece of hope again because after the
[00:03:42] Biden administration with wide open
[00:03:43] borders with total chaos abroad, total
[00:03:46] chaos and with parents who felt like um
[00:03:50] the government was in their way. Uh
[00:03:52] President Trump has changed the dynamic
[00:03:54] and it's a good day for our country and
[00:03:56] more to come.
[00:03:57] >> Senator Graham, I mean he touched on
[00:03:59] everything. He talked about issues
[00:04:01] abroad about his all the time, energy,
[00:04:04] resources. he the [clears throat]
[00:04:05] personal investment he has had in moral
[00:04:08] conflicts to bring peace in the Middle
[00:04:09] East but also around the globe peace in
[00:04:12] Europe he's still working on that deal
[00:04:14] how he inherited a mess all the changes
[00:04:17] he's put in place close the borders uh
[00:04:20] bringing back restoring law and order
[00:04:22] this city is you know exhibit A right
[00:04:24] lower taxes largest tax cut in American
[00:04:26] history dominant policies which I think
[00:04:29] everybody will be impacted by again no
[00:04:32] tax tips overtime social security.
[00:04:35] There's a lot in this speech. Well, the
[00:04:38] headline for me is when he says the best
[00:04:40] is yet to come, he made a case to make
[00:04:43] that believable. The trend lines are all
[00:04:46] going in the right direction. Uh in
[00:04:48] 2022,
[00:04:50] gas was almost $5 per gallon in December
[00:04:53] this year. It's the lowest it's been
[00:04:56] since 2021. The trend lines are going in
[00:04:59] the right direction in terms of gas
[00:05:01] prices, in terms of energy. Biden
[00:05:04] cancelled the XL pipeline.
[00:05:06] He stopped new leases to find
[00:05:08] Americanowned oil and gas. Trump has
[00:05:11] reversed that. In July of this year, the
[00:05:14] most oil produced in a day in America.
[00:05:17] We hit that number in July of 2025. A
[00:05:20] 25% increase of exporting natural gas,
[00:05:23] which is good for domestic markets here.
[00:05:26] So the bottom line is these charts tell
[00:05:29] you that the trend lines on energy, on
[00:05:32] housing cost are going in the right
[00:05:35] direction. And if we stay with these
[00:05:37] policies, we do another reconciliation
[00:05:39] bill, be patient, help is on the way.
[00:05:44] Simple explanation of housing. If 12
[00:05:46] million people come into your country
[00:05:48] legally in a four-year period and
[00:05:51] they're not sleeping in the streets,
[00:05:53] they're staying in hotels, they're
[00:05:55] staying in apartments paid for by your
[00:05:57] government, and the Biden administration
[00:06:00] won't let you build new houses because
[00:06:02] you can't cut down a tree, then housing
[00:06:04] prices are going to go up. What is Trump
[00:06:06] doing different than Biden? He's kicking
[00:06:08] people out and he's unleashing the
[00:06:11] ability to build a house in America. So,
[00:06:13] mortgage rates are coming down. Housing
[00:06:16] supply is going to go up. Gas production
[00:06:18] is at an all-time high. So, the trend
[00:06:21] lines are real. Mr. President, you just
[00:06:23] did not say the best is yet to come. You
[00:06:26] prove to the American people that when
[00:06:29] it comes to their prosperity and
[00:06:30] security, by the this time next year,
[00:06:33] you'll see a major difference. When
[00:06:35] these tax cuts go into effect, when
[00:06:37] energy dominant policies drive the
[00:06:40] lifeblood of the world's economy down
[00:06:41] even further, when the trillions in
[00:06:44] investment come into manufacturing with
[00:06:47] 100% depreciation in year one, uh where
[00:06:50] are we going to be at the end of the
[00:06:51] second quarter next year? Because if if
[00:06:54] Democrats want to talk about
[00:06:55] affordability, I would imagine they
[00:06:57] might be eating a lot of those words.
[00:06:58] Well, I think they will. And it it's so
[00:07:00] interesting watching the president
[00:07:01] because he's so good. We didn't even get
[00:07:03] to the fact that we stopped a lot of bad
[00:07:05] things that the Biden administration had
[00:07:06] been doing. The Biden administration
[00:07:09] wanted all of us to be force-fed
[00:07:10] electric vehicles. We reversed that.
[00:07:13] They wanted to eliminate the internal
[00:07:15] combustion engine. So, you know, what
[00:07:17] we're doing is producing more gas, oil,
[00:07:19] coal, and energy. The other thing we
[00:07:21] didn't talk about yet are these warrior
[00:07:22] dividends. I was overseas at Rammstein
[00:07:25] Air Force Base for Thanksgiving. I go
[00:07:27] every year to visit our overseas Wyoming
[00:07:29] troops for Thanksgiving. This is going
[00:07:31] to go over very well with the 1.4
[00:07:33] million men and women in uniform in
[00:07:35] thanks what $1,776
[00:07:38] for 17750,000
[00:07:41] troops. We'll get that. Uh
[00:07:43] >> look, we're putting more money back in
[00:07:45] Americans pockets as a result of
[00:07:47] President Trump's leadership. We're
[00:07:48] going to see it on everything. The no
[00:07:49] tax on tips and tax on overtimes, but
[00:07:51] even in child care. This is something
[00:07:53] Democrats have talked about for years,
[00:07:54] Sean. And President Trump has led the
[00:07:57] way, allowing parents to keep more of
[00:07:58] their hard-earned money and actually
[00:08:00] tackling the affordability and
[00:08:01] accessibility of child care. So, there
[00:08:03] are so many things that we have done
[00:08:05] that people haven't actually gotten to
[00:08:08] reap the benefits of yet, and they will
[00:08:10] next year. When that happens, I think
[00:08:12] the economy, it's it's going to be good
[00:08:13] stuff.
[00:08:14] >> Senator Graham, we're going to give you
[00:08:15] the last word, but Poly Market, by the
[00:08:16] way, they're running uh a a poll right
[00:08:19] now. They have odds on whether or not
[00:08:21] you're going to say the word BS the way
[00:08:23] you did the other night. [laughter] I
[00:08:24] want to get in on that. This is
[00:08:26] >> I want to get in on that.
[00:08:27] >> Be a G-rated virgin. I feel good. I'm
[00:08:30] happy I don't cuss. And let me what I'm
[00:08:32] happy about. If you want to bring health
[00:08:33] care costs down, listen to President
[00:08:35] Trump and follow his lead. All the money
[00:08:38] under Obamacare goes to health care
[00:08:40] insurance companies. President Trump
[00:08:42] wants to take some of that money and
[00:08:44] give it to you so you can shop for
[00:08:46] better health care. That will lower
[00:08:48] health care. Monopolies are bad.
[00:08:50] >> Wait a minute. The Affordable Care Act
[00:08:52] needs permanent subsidies because it's
[00:08:54] not so affordable. Millions lost to
[00:08:57] doctor's plans.
[00:08:58] >> The best thing that ever happened to
[00:08:59] healthc care insurance company is the
[00:09:01] worst thing that ever happened to a
[00:09:03] consumer.
[00:09:04] >> Uh, I thank you all. Senator Baraso,
[00:09:06] Senator Britt, Senator Graham. Thank you
[00:09:08] all.
