[00:00:00] This week, we saw growing tensions with
[00:00:02] the conflict in Iran. Diplomatic talks
[00:00:04] occurred this week in Geneva, but have
[00:00:06] not reached a resolution. The US has
[00:00:08] ordered a second aircraft carrier to the
[00:00:10] Middle East.
[00:00:12] >> The USS Lincoln that came over from the
[00:00:15] South China Sea and that has more than
[00:00:17] 5,000 military personnel. And in terms
[00:00:20] of timing, you know, it's hard to see
[00:00:22] the US attacking Iran during the
[00:00:24] Olympics, for example, right? But that
[00:00:27] ends on Sunday. And after Sunday, the
[00:00:29] Ford could get into that area of
[00:00:31] responsibility.
[00:00:32] >> I'm going to break down everything you
[00:00:34] need to know this week on Wolves in
[00:00:36] Finance.
[00:00:53] The government of Iran is collapsing.
[00:00:56] This was a very difficult video to make.
[00:00:59] I have had to cut out so much video of
[00:01:02] the violence going on in the streets of
[00:01:03] Iran. It is just too graphic. It's very
[00:01:07] hard to watch. I cannot show it on
[00:01:10] YouTube. Let me show you an example.
[00:01:17] Now, I've stopped the video before you
[00:01:18] see anything, but I think you can
[00:01:20] imagine what happens. This is Iran's
[00:01:23] regime forces driving over protesters in
[00:01:25] their car and shooting them. Here's a
[00:01:28] picture of children who were shot in the
[00:01:31] streets. I am showing you a still frame
[00:01:33] from a video where a member of the
[00:01:35] Iranian security forces shoots two
[00:01:37] protesters point blank. There is video
[00:01:40] of the piles of dead bodies. More and
[00:01:44] more ordinary people are taking to the
[00:01:46] streets to protest their government.
[00:02:08] So firstly, is this a protest or a
[00:02:10] revolution?
[00:02:12] >> It's 100% a revolution, Ian. People are
[00:02:15] out in the streets. They're saying down
[00:02:17] with the dictator, down with the Islamic
[00:02:19] Republic. People are done with the
[00:02:21] Sharia law that has oppressed them for
[00:02:23] the last 47 years. And they're also
[00:02:25] chanting, "This is the final battle.
[00:02:27] Palvi will return." Of course, Pvy is a
[00:02:30] reference to the king of Iran, Resvi,
[00:02:34] who's currently in exile right now. He
[00:02:36] has a transition plan to lead the
[00:02:38] country from a totalitarian Islamic
[00:02:41] dictatorship into a functioning secular
[00:02:43] democracy. and Iranians only trust him
[00:02:45] to lead them through that transition
[00:02:47] process.
[00:02:48] >> And this is the son of right uh that
[00:02:51] we're talking about here.
[00:02:53] >> Yes, absolutely. He is the son of the
[00:02:55] former Sha of Iran.
[00:02:56] >> Yeah. Let me give you some backstory of
[00:02:58] Iran. This is Iran in the 1970s. It was
[00:03:02] one of the most modern progressive
[00:03:04] countries in the world. It was like
[00:03:06] America but in the Middle East. Here are
[00:03:09] some more photos. You would never guess
[00:03:11] that this would become a radical
[00:03:13] extremist country. In the 1970s, Iran
[00:03:17] was run by Muhammad Raza Palavi or more
[00:03:19] commonly known as the Sha of Iran. Sha
[00:03:22] is the Persian word for king. The
[00:03:25] criticism against the Sha was that he
[00:03:26] had a secret police force known as Savak
[00:03:29] and he used it excessively to stay in
[00:03:31] power. He would round up his political
[00:03:34] critics, specifically religious
[00:03:36] extremists. These people would disappear
[00:03:38] and they would be murdered. This
[00:03:41] culminated in a protest called Black
[00:03:42] Friday in 1978 where the army fired into
[00:03:46] a crowd of protesters, killing around a
[00:03:48] 100 people and injuring many others. The
[00:03:50] Sha was overthrown in 1979 and replaced
[00:03:54] with the religious extremists that he
[00:03:56] previously attacked. Here's a photo from
[00:03:58] a protest at a university at that time.
[00:04:01] Most of these students were communists
[00:04:03] and they wanted an Islamic regime.
[00:04:06] Does this look familiar? It should. This
[00:04:10] looks very similar to the protests we
[00:04:12] see on America's campuses today. These
[00:04:15] young women were stupid because they put
[00:04:18] in power religious extremists that
[00:04:21] murdered and oppressed them. Those
[00:04:23] religious extremists have ruled Iran
[00:04:26] with an iron fist ever since. The
[00:04:28] current leader is Ayatollah Ali Kmeni
[00:04:31] who has been in power since 1989. Their
[00:04:34] reign of terror has been more vicious
[00:04:36] than the shaw was. Let me show you a
[00:04:39] video. Someone cut together different
[00:04:42] videos of protesters dancing. All of
[00:04:44] these people have been killed.
[00:05:21] These are young people who wanted their
[00:05:23] voice to be heard. Let me show you video
[00:05:26] of an 18-year-old protester who's being
[00:05:28] interrogated and he begs for his life.
[00:05:31] Dozens of detainees, many of them
[00:05:34] children, are being forced to confess to
[00:05:36] crimes they never committed.
[00:06:02] What is happening in Iran is so
[00:06:05] horrible. And I am shocked that there's
[00:06:07] almost no coverage of this in the
[00:06:09] mainstream media. I am betting that 95%
[00:06:13] of what I've shown you so far, no one
[00:06:15] has seen on the news, which is shocking.
[00:06:18] This was discussed on Bill Maher's show.
[00:06:21] I want to ask you this though, cuz I
[00:06:23] think you were go I think you were
[00:06:24] starting to touch on it. I want to know
[00:06:28] how many people the Iranian mullers have
[00:06:32] to slaughter in the streets before one
[00:06:35] person, one student
[00:06:37] >> on Colombia goes out on their campus
[00:06:40] grounds and protests or do they only
[00:06:43] protest when it's Jews who were fighting
[00:06:45] the war? Correct.
[00:06:46] >> Because it's outrageous. It is. It's up
[00:06:50] to 30,000.
[00:06:52] And it only proves it only proves what
[00:06:55] supporters of Israel said at the time.
[00:06:57] And a lot of times they were focused on
[00:06:59] me. They go, "Why are you focused so
[00:07:00] much on Gaza? Why are you focus why
[00:07:03] don't you focus more on and then list
[00:07:05] all these other things?" Well, I will
[00:07:06] tell you
[00:07:07] >> Colombia, other universities are proving
[00:07:10] them right because 30,000 Iranians have
[00:07:13] been slaughtered. Not one campus
[00:07:16] protest. Nobody's talking about it.
[00:07:18] >> That was Joe Scarboro. And I rarely
[00:07:21] agree with anything he says, but he's
[00:07:23] right about this. And I have no problem
[00:07:26] highlighting people when they make a
[00:07:27] valid point. Why are so many people
[00:07:30] outraged about Gaza and protesting about
[00:07:32] Gaza? And those same people are
[00:07:35] completely silent about the atrocities
[00:07:37] occurring in Iran. I have not seen one
[00:07:41] college protest in America about what is
[00:07:43] happening in Iran.
[00:07:46] Why is that? That sounds to me like some
[00:07:49] people are being hypocrites. So why is
[00:07:52] this such an issue? Why is the US
[00:07:55] sending aircraft carriers to the Middle
[00:07:57] East? It is because Iran is the largest
[00:08:01] funer of terrorism around the world.
[00:08:03] Iran's military is the 16th largest in
[00:08:05] the world according to the 2026 military
[00:08:08] strength ranking. They rank almost
[00:08:10] exactly the same as Israel, but that
[00:08:12] does not include all the other terrorist
[00:08:14] networks they are funding throughout the
[00:08:16] world. Iran's missiles are within range
[00:08:19] of multiple US bases throughout the
[00:08:21] Middle East. If Iran attacks, a lot of
[00:08:24] US service members could lose their
[00:08:26] lives. But that is not even the biggest
[00:08:28] concern.
[00:08:30] You sitting at home are at risk. Iran
[00:08:34] could smuggle a bomb into a major US
[00:08:37] city. This has been a major concern in
[00:08:39] the US for a long time. Here is a report
[00:08:43] issued in August 2025, 6 months ago. It
[00:08:47] says, "In just the past 5 years, US
[00:08:50] authorities have disrupted at least 17
[00:08:52] Iranian plots in the homeland, including
[00:08:55] those involving Iranian operatives as
[00:08:57] well as terrorist and criminal proxies.
[00:08:59] One of these examples was a Hezbollah
[00:09:02] operative in Texas who purchased 300 lb
[00:09:05] of ammonium nitrate which you use to
[00:09:07] build a bomb. So if you live in Chicago
[00:09:11] or New York or San Francisco or Houston,
[00:09:14] Texas, I would be very concerned about
[00:09:16] an attack from Iran. Ayatollah Kamini is
[00:09:20] feeling backed into a corner right now
[00:09:22] and he is going to do whatever it takes
[00:09:24] to remain in power even if it means
[00:09:27] attacking the United States. Most people
[00:09:29] do not realize your safety is at risk
[00:09:32] right now and Donald Trump has to
[00:09:34] consider whether it makes sense to
[00:09:36] attack Iran first. Patrick Bet David
[00:09:39] discussed these issues on the PBD
[00:09:41] podcast with Amir Fakraar. He's a former
[00:09:44] political prisoner and is in exile in
[00:09:46] the US where he founded the National
[00:09:47] Iranian Congress. He discusses a plan to
[00:09:50] transition to a new Iranian government
[00:09:52] formed under the son of the sha Raza
[00:09:54] Palavi. We in Iran, we want to have our
[00:09:59] republic of Iran, the first republic of
[00:10:02] Iran, and follow the footprint of
[00:10:04] American founding fathers. The
[00:10:06] Constitution should be our leader, not
[00:10:08] any person at all.
[00:10:10] >> That's that that's an idea that you're
[00:10:12] proposing. And I'm a I'm a a a guy who's
[00:10:16] pro America, pro, you know, what
[00:10:19] happened to this incredible idea, the
[00:10:21] constitution they wrote up, the republic
[00:10:23] that turned into the greatest country in
[00:10:25] the world, the the amount of things
[00:10:26] that's produced. I've got to say that
[00:10:29] Patrick Bed David is a very good
[00:10:31] speaker. I will admit sometimes I just
[00:10:34] play his speeches on YouTube and I will
[00:10:36] cry because they are so inspirational.
[00:10:39] But I think he really understands what
[00:10:41] is going on in Iran and I listen to what
[00:10:44] he has to say.
[00:10:45] >> And here's what's different about it.
[00:10:47] For 47 years, here's what's been
[00:10:48] constant. The Iranian people have been
[00:10:51] wanting to get away from the Islamic
[00:10:52] Revolutionary Guard for 47 years. For 47
[00:10:56] years, the number one candidate that
[00:10:58] everybody would talk about that could
[00:11:00] pull this off is the son of Muhammad
[00:11:02] Razar Sha Pali, which his name is Resza
[00:11:04] Pali. Everybody wants him to go back and
[00:11:07] do it. He's supposed to be the savior.
[00:11:09] The only difference between the last 47
[00:11:11] years and today is there's a guy at the
[00:11:14] White House that they fear in Iran. When
[00:11:16] I mean fear, they know his threats are
[00:11:18] not regular threats. There are certain
[00:11:19] people you fight. When he tells you if
[00:11:21] you say something, I'm going to hit you.
[00:11:23] And you're like, "No, this guy's full of
[00:11:24] it." When President Trump tells you he's
[00:11:26] going to do something, he he does it.
[00:11:27] Iranians remember when he took out Gasam
[00:11:30] Solmani and they realized this is not a
[00:11:32] regular guy to play around with. The big
[00:11:34] question right now is what is America's
[00:11:37] place in the world?
[00:11:39] There's a well-known columnist named
[00:11:41] George Will. You probably know who he
[00:11:44] is. He's been on ABC for years. He
[00:11:46] writes for the Washington Post and he's
[00:11:48] a big fan of baseball.
[00:11:51] He is so eloquent that in one sentence
[00:11:54] he changed the life of Patrick BD David.
[00:11:58] >> I went and had a meeting with George
[00:11:59] Will at Myiramar Hotel. He says, "If you
[00:12:02] really want to make an impact in your
[00:12:04] life, why don't you go find out why so
[00:12:05] many Americans come to America?" That's
[00:12:06] all he said to me. I walked away. I
[00:12:08] said, "What do you mean why do so many
[00:12:09] Americans? What kind of a purpose is
[00:12:10] that?"
[00:12:11] >> Why so many immigrants come to America?
[00:12:12] >> Why so many Why does everybody want to
[00:12:15] come to America? Every American, here's
[00:12:17] a test for you. Go to Iran, live there
[00:12:19] for a year. Go to France, live there for
[00:12:21] a year. Go to Spain, live there for a
[00:12:22] year. Go to Mexico, live there for a
[00:12:24] year. Go to El Salvador, live there for
[00:12:25] a year. Go to these countries and live
[00:12:27] there for you. You will come back
[00:12:28] begging America to give you a green
[00:12:30] card. Let's take away your citizenship
[00:12:33] and let's send you to Iran. Let's send
[00:12:34] you to the Middle East. Let's send you
[00:12:36] to South America. Let's send you to
[00:12:37] Central America. Let's send you to
[00:12:39] Europe with all the socialistic
[00:12:40] philosophies of 70% taxes while these
[00:12:43] guys are campaigning air France. People
[00:12:44] don't have jobs. There's no money being
[00:12:46] made. Go live there. Give up your
[00:12:48] citizenship. We'll give you a million
[00:12:49] dollars. You'll go to France. A year
[00:12:52] later, two years later, three years
[00:12:53] later, you'll say, "Please bring me
[00:12:55] back. I'll give that million dollars
[00:12:56] back to you." Begging to come back to
[00:12:58] America. People have forgotten how
[00:12:59] ridiculous this country is.
[00:13:00] >> George Will made one statement. Why do
[00:13:04] so many people want to come to America?
[00:13:07] There is something that makes America
[00:13:09] special. It's a combination of freedom
[00:13:11] and opportunity that does not exist
[00:13:14] anywhere else in the world. And that is
[00:13:16] what the people in Iran are protesting
[00:13:19] for. That's what people are dying for.
[00:13:22] They want just a little bit of that
[00:13:25] taste of freedom. Donald Trump posted on
[00:13:27] Truth. social. The noble people of Iran
[00:13:30] who love America deserve a government
[00:13:32] that's more interested in helping them
[00:13:34] achieve their dreams than killing them
[00:13:36] for demanding respect. Instead of
[00:13:38] leading Iran toward ruin, its leaders
[00:13:40] should abandon terror and make Iran
[00:13:43] great again.
[00:13:44] >> The most important thing right now is
[00:13:46] the courageous Iranian people who are on
[00:13:48] the streets going and doing their part.
[00:13:51] If we do it right, the combination,
[00:13:54] remember sometimes you got to realize
[00:13:56] God has sometimes does certain things in
[00:13:58] its own magical way. This is the 47th
[00:14:01] year of the Islamic Revolution that
[00:14:03] happened under Kumeni and this is the
[00:14:05] 47th president.
[00:14:07] >> If the stars are lined up, if God is
[00:14:10] watching over us, this may be the first
[00:14:12] year in 47 years that Iran could be free
[00:14:14] with a big help
[00:14:16] >> by the president of the United States of
[00:14:19] America, which is President Donald J.
[00:14:20] Trump. I think there's an opportunity
[00:14:22] here for America to provide support.
[00:14:25] This does not have to be an antagonistic
[00:14:28] conflict. It does not have to be us
[00:14:30] versus them.
[00:14:32] If you look at the Iranian people, there
[00:14:34] is so much history and culture that
[00:14:37] needs to be protected. This situation
[00:14:40] reminds me of something that happened
[00:14:41] before. A lot of people don't know about
[00:14:44] this. At the end of World War II, the
[00:14:47] American military initiated Operation
[00:14:50] Cowboy
[00:14:52] in Austria under the control of the
[00:14:54] Nazis. They had the most highly trained
[00:14:56] horses in the world called the Lipids
[00:14:58] Honors. These were beautiful white
[00:15:00] horses and they could dance. They were a
[00:15:04] symbol of cultural excellence and no one
[00:15:06] else in the world could match their
[00:15:08] achievements. This was the final days of
[00:15:10] the war. The Americans were closing in
[00:15:13] on one side and the Russians were
[00:15:14] closing in on the other side. The
[00:15:17] Germans were concerned that if the
[00:15:18] Russians got there first, they would
[00:15:20] kill and eat the horses because that's
[00:15:23] what the Russians had already done in
[00:15:25] some of the other towns. A group of
[00:15:27] German soldiers made a plan to work with
[00:15:30] the Americans to save the horses. They
[00:15:33] made contact and a group of American
[00:15:35] soldiers went 20 m behind enemy lines to
[00:15:38] secure the lipids honors. This group of
[00:15:41] German and American soldiers worked
[00:15:43] together. There were hundreds of horses.
[00:15:47] They jumped on the few they could,
[00:15:49] rounded up the rest, and rode them back
[00:15:51] to the border. Meanwhile, other Nazi
[00:15:54] forces quickly realized what was
[00:15:56] happening and tried to stop them. The
[00:15:58] Nazis launched two attacks against the
[00:16:00] farm, trying to stop the horses from
[00:16:02] getting away. The Germans and the
[00:16:05] Americans fought side by side against
[00:16:08] the Nazis to get the horses the 20 m to
[00:16:11] the border.
[00:16:13] This moment of Germans and Americans
[00:16:15] working together is the reason that
[00:16:17] these horses exist today. In Iran, there
[00:16:21] is the same level of culture and
[00:16:23] excellence just like the Lipids honors.
[00:16:26] And the United States can be there to
[00:16:28] support the Iranian people.
[00:16:30] This does not have to be a case of us
[00:16:33] versus them. It can be us working
[00:16:36] together. So, as Donald Trump decides
[00:16:39] how to respond to Iran, I hope that he
[00:16:41] remembers what we accomplished in World
[00:16:43] War II and realizes that sometimes what
[00:16:46] the world needs is a cowboy. Now, I want
[00:16:50] to hear from you. Do you support the
[00:16:52] Iranian people? Let me know in the
