Number one, let's start [00:00:06] there. [00:00:07] >> Let's start with the idea that Donald [00:00:10] Trump is Reagan plus. He's a man of [00:00:12] peace, but not to be trifled with. So, [00:00:14] what did he tell the protesters? Keep [00:00:16] protesting. Help is on the way. I hope [00:00:19] he can find a deal to end the bloodshed [00:00:22] uh in Iran. But Iran's the largest state [00:00:24] sponsor of terrorism. They've killed [00:00:26] probably 30,000 of their people. And [00:00:28] here's what I think. When Donald Trump [00:00:29] promises you something, he will deliver. [00:00:32] To the Iranian people, President Trump [00:00:34] has your back. Help will be on the way. [00:00:37] I'm not going to say anymore. Let me say [00:00:39] this about immigration. Tom Hullman [00:00:42] going to Minnesota is good to turn down [00:00:44] the temperature. But you know what is [00:00:46] unreasonable is to have sanctuary city [00:00:49] policies in 12 states that entice people [00:00:52] to come to our country to avoid [00:00:54] enforcing federal law. uh to to increase [00:00:58] crime uh to incentivize fraud. [00:01:10] President Trump is working with me and [00:01:13] others to introduce a bill to go to the [00:01:15] floor of the United States Senate to end [00:01:17] sanctuary city policy forever to [00:01:20] eliminate it. All the 12 states who are [00:01:22] doing this will be punished if they [00:01:24] don't change. You can never have law and [00:01:26] order or sanctuary city policy. You're [00:01:28] going to have massive fraud. So to the [00:01:31] Republican leaders and Republican [00:01:33] colleagues, we control the Senate. We [00:01:35] need to have a vote on the floor of the [00:01:36] United States Senate uh enacting what [00:01:39] President Trump said he would do in [00:01:41] sanctuary city policy forever. We're [00:01:44] going to be reasonable in Minnesota, but [00:01:46] we're not going to give up on the idea [00:01:47] of fixing the source of the problem, [00:01:50] which is sanctuary city crazy laws in 12 [00:01:53] states. Senator, why why do we even need [00:01:56] another law for that? Is it isn't it? [00:01:59] Because I've been saying this for a long [00:02:00] time. Isn't sanctuary cities by [00:02:02] definition aiding in abetting and [00:02:04] rewarding law. [00:02:06] >> If if I can answer your question, yeah, [00:02:08] why do we need another law? Because [00:02:09] people ignore the laws on the books. I [00:02:11] want to punish states that ignore [00:02:14] federal law that have been on the books. [00:02:16] But but I got a lot of ideas. It literally [00:02:27] incentivizes more illegal immigration. [00:02:29] It's a massive uh invitation to fraud [00:02:32] and it breaks down law and order. What [00:02:34] happened in Minnesota is a result of a [00:02:37] state ignoring law that's there to help [00:02:40] the people. So, I promise you, if you're [00:02:42] worried about Donald Trump abandoning [00:02:45] his promise to end sanctuary cities [00:02:47] forever, you need not be worried. As to [00:02:50] Iran, if you're protesting, Donald Trump [00:02:52] does have your back. I hope he can make [00:02:54] a deal. As to Steven Miller, to my [00:02:57] colleagues who believe that you can [00:02:59] convince Donald Trump that Steven Miller [00:03:01] is a liability for him, good luck with [00:03:04] that. When this uh clock strikes 12 on [00:03:07] the Trump era, there'll be a few people [00:03:09] walking out the door with Donald Trump. [00:03:11] Steven Miller will be in that group.
