[00:00:05] [music] [00:00:11] Ladies and gentlemen, the President of [00:00:13] the United States, Donald J. Trump. [00:00:20] [music] [00:00:27] [music] [00:00:35] >> [music] [00:00:37] >> This is a nice full room. You know, we [00:00:39] have a we have a ballroom being built [00:00:43] [cheering] [00:00:43] >> right now. So, in about a year and a [00:00:46] half, we'll be able to have about uh I'd [00:00:48] say 10 times the number. [00:00:51] >> We can invite some friends that couldn't [00:00:53] make it today because frankly uh this [00:00:55] was a soldout crowd. has been ever since [00:00:58] I've been president every year it's been [00:01:00] sold out. So a lot of lot of great [00:01:03] friends. There's your knockout panel. [00:01:04] Okay, for those that are interested. See [00:01:06] that curtain? You open that curtain and [00:01:09] it's a beautiful funnel right into the [00:01:11] most beautiful ballroom. It's being [00:01:12] built right now. So it's pretty and [00:01:15] they've wanted it for 150 years. We're [00:01:17] getting it done a lot. We're getting a [00:01:19] lot of other things done, too. [00:01:21] >> Well, I want to thank you all and [00:01:22] welcome you to the White House on this [00:01:24] very special occasion. It is indeed. [00:01:26] I've been at every one of them and we [00:01:27] celebrate the 100th anniversary of Black [00:01:31] History Month. That's a big deal. [00:01:34] 100th. [00:01:37] Wow. That's sort of uh special. The [00:01:40] 100th. That's about as like 150 is good, [00:01:44] but 200's better, right? 100's better. I [00:01:48] want to begin by expressing our sadness [00:01:50] at the passing of a person who was I [00:01:53] knew very well. Jesse was a piece of [00:01:55] work. I want to tell he was a piece of [00:01:58] work, but he was a good man. He was a [00:02:01] real He was a real hero. And uh I just [00:02:05] want to pay my highest respects to [00:02:07] Reverend Jesse Jackson. [00:02:09] [cheering] He's a good man. He was [00:02:12] actually, as you got to know him, he got [00:02:14] better and better all the time. A lot of [00:02:15] one, a lot of people you get to know [00:02:17] him, they get worse and worse. Jesse got [00:02:19] better and better. But I knew him well [00:02:22] long before becoming president. And he [00:02:24] really was special with lots of [00:02:26] personality, grit, and street smarts. [00:02:28] You would say Jesse had serious street [00:02:31] smarts, right? A very important [00:02:33] ingredient to life. I will tell you, he [00:02:35] was gregarious and someone who truly [00:02:37] loved people and a force of nature. He [00:02:40] was uh somebody that we're going to [00:02:42] greatly miss. And on behalf of everyone [00:02:44] here today, I know you join me in [00:02:46] sending our condolences to the entire [00:02:48] family. [00:02:49] >> Got a great family. We're also honored [00:02:53] to be joined this afternoon by many [00:02:54] exceptional African-American leaders and [00:02:57] patriots, including Secretary Scott [00:02:59] Turner. Recommended [00:03:02] Where is Scott? Where is Scott? [00:03:05] Will you come up here, Scott? He was [00:03:06] recommended by somebody who's very [00:03:08] special to me. Ben Carson. Ben Carson. [00:03:11] [cheering] [00:03:12] Where's Ben? [00:03:14] Where's Ben? Is Come on up here, Ben. [00:03:18] Come here. I got to get here. and his [00:03:21] wonderful wife, Candy. Candy, I'm going [00:03:22] to steal Ben for a second because you [00:03:24] know Ben Ben recommended Scott. And when [00:03:28] Ben recommends somebody, I just do it. [00:03:31] Did I make a good decision? Be careful. [00:03:33] Don't fall, Ben. If you fall, that's the [00:03:35] end. It's never You can never recover [00:03:37] from a fall. You know, if you make You [00:03:40] can make the greatest speech ever, but [00:03:41] if you fall, [00:03:43] my predecessor taught me that. [00:03:47] So, is Scott doing a good job, Ben? [00:03:50] >> He's doing the best job ever. [00:03:52] >> Come on, say that. I like that. [00:03:54] You know, one of the reasons I was so [00:03:56] high on Scott Turner is he was really [00:03:59] the driving force behind the opportunity [00:04:02] zones, which was [cheering] [00:04:06] which doesn't get nearly the the [00:04:08] attention that it should, but it was [00:04:11] because President Trump realized that [00:04:14] the best way to get things done is [00:04:16] through public private partnerships and [00:04:20] have everybody with skin in the game. [00:04:22] And it is working as are all the other [00:04:25] things that he's been recommending. And [00:04:27] at some point at some point the [00:04:30] mainstream media will recognize that you [00:04:33] don't politicize everything. You open [00:04:36] your eyes and your ears and you look and [00:04:38] you see what works and you deal with [00:04:40] that. [00:04:41] >> And but the best thing about Scott, he's [00:04:44] got a lot of energy. [00:04:46] You know, I'm an old man now. I'll be 75 [00:04:49] on my next birthday. [00:04:50] >> And [00:04:53] I'm not like President Trump. He just [00:04:56] goes forever. But uh [laughter] [00:05:00] >> no, no one else is like that. But Scott [00:05:03] Turner, we call him the Energizer Bunny, [00:05:06] and he is doing a fantastic job. And I [00:05:08] want to congratulate all the people at [00:05:10] HUD because most of them have come back [00:05:12] and continued with what we're doing [00:05:13] during the first Trump term, and it's [00:05:16] fantastic. [00:05:17] >> Thank you very much, [00:05:22] >> [applause] [00:05:23] >> Well, just very briefly, thank you uh [00:05:25] Mr. President. We are so grateful uh for [00:05:28] your leadership and for your heart for [00:05:31] America and Dr. Carson who is a [00:05:34] tremendous [00:05:36] um just leader, servant leader and been [00:05:38] a great mentor to me and you know I [00:05:41] never thought that I would see today [00:05:43] where I'm standing between the president [00:05:46] and Dr. Ben Carson. Uh, that's pretty [00:05:50] cool. Yeah. [00:05:53] >> And so, uh, I just want to say to [00:05:56] everyone that's here, you know, as we [00:05:57] celebrate this special day in, um, not [00:06:00] only black history, but American [00:06:02] history, uh, this year that we've been [00:06:05] here, you know, under President Trump, [00:06:07] the Lord has been so gracious to us, [00:06:09] >> uh, and he's been faithful. And the [00:06:11] president has been a tremendous leader, [00:06:13] uh, in his work ethic, his heart for [00:06:15] people. And when he says America first, [00:06:17] he really does mean America first. [00:06:19] [cheering] [00:06:20] >> Yeah. [00:06:22] And so, and to be able to stand on the [00:06:25] shoulders of Dr. Bing Carson and for the [00:06:27] president to trust Dr. Carson at his [00:06:29] word is truly humbling for me. And so, [00:06:32] to stand now as the servant leader and [00:06:34] the secretary of HUD, uh I'm grateful to [00:06:36] the Lord. I'm grateful to the president [00:06:37] and Dr. Carson. And I promise you, we [00:06:40] will continue to do good work uh and to [00:06:42] make not just housing uh affordable and [00:06:45] everybody achieved the American dream, [00:06:46] but really to bring transformation uh [00:06:48] and so that those that are in our [00:06:50] country uh who depend on subsidies and [00:06:52] this that and the other will get off of [00:06:54] that and live a life of self [00:06:55] sustainability. So, God bless y'all. [00:06:57] [applause and cheering] [00:07:00] >> Thank you, Ben. [00:07:01] >> Thank you. Thank you. [applause] [00:07:04] >> Thank you. And Ben uh mentioned [00:07:06] opportunity zones. We did that and I [00:07:08] want to thank Tim Scott because he [00:07:10] really that was his baby. That was his [00:07:13] baby and he did a great job with it. We [00:07:16] appreciate it. And again, Candy, thank [00:07:18] you very much for being here. Special [00:07:19] woman. Ben's getting the Presidential [00:07:22] Medal of Freedom. That's the biggest [00:07:26] [cheering] [00:07:26] That's the biggest uh It's the highest [00:07:29] award you can have outside of the [00:07:30] Congressional Medal of Honor. Uh but [00:07:33] it's better because you know, a lot of [00:07:34] people get the Congressional Medal of [00:07:36] Honor. They're not around. You get them. [00:07:38] They're not around. They got Whereas we [00:07:40] don't have to go that far. Generous [00:07:43] making, but uh it's the highest award [00:07:46] civilian and then you have the matching [00:07:49] is the Congressional Medal of Honor. [00:07:50] Both tremendous. So Ben, I'll be seeing [00:07:53] you back here pretty soon, I think, and [00:07:54] you're going to get the award. You'll [00:07:56] probably fill up this room. I said, [00:07:57] "We'll do it in the Oval Office." He [00:07:59] said, "Sir, it's not big enough." I [00:08:00] said, "What?" [00:08:02] So we're going to do it right here. [00:08:04] Okay. and and we love it. [00:08:07] [applause] [00:08:09] I'd like to also thank senior counsel to [00:08:12] the assistant attorney general. He's a [00:08:15] fantastic man. He's been my friend for a [00:08:18] long time. Leo Terrell. There's no [00:08:21] better. [00:08:23] We have time, right? Do we have time? [00:08:24] Yes. Anybody have to go? Like, come on [00:08:27] up here, Leo. Get up here. This guy, he [00:08:30] says it like it is. I like Leo. [00:08:32] Come here, Leo. Look at you sprite here. [00:08:35] >> 2.0. [00:08:37] >> We are 2.0. [00:08:38] >> Let me let me just thank you very Thank [00:08:40] you very much, Mr. President. First of [00:08:42] all, we are living under the [00:08:45] administration of the greatest president [00:08:47] in our lifetime [cheering] [00:08:50] >> and we have the hottest country in our [00:08:53] lifetime. And I want to make sure the [00:08:56] mainstream media knows this because you [00:08:58] represent the people who basically [00:09:01] counter what the mainstream media has [00:09:04] done. [00:09:05] >> President Trump [00:09:07] was the president who fully funded [00:09:09] historically black college of the [00:09:11] university. [00:09:13] >> President Trump took the lead and [00:09:16] performed criminal justice reform. [00:09:19] President Trump made sure that we had [00:09:22] opportunity zones. [00:09:24] Let me close by saying this. [00:09:27] This country is at a crossroads and we [00:09:30] have the right president at the right [00:09:32] time. [00:09:33] >> And if you want school choice, like I [00:09:35] know you do. President Trump wants it. [00:09:38] If you want a law and order society and [00:09:42] secure border, President Trump wants [00:09:44] that. [00:09:45] And more importantly, I say this because [00:09:49] this is the greatest country on the [00:09:50] planet. American citizens should decide [00:09:54] AMERICAN ELECTION. VOTE FOR THE SAVE [00:09:56] ACT. [cheering] [00:10:01] >> Thank you, Leo 2.0. We don't [00:10:04] >> We love We love Leo. Thank you, Leo. [00:10:07] That was very good. [00:10:10] >> Yeah. Four more years. [00:10:12] >> Four more years. [00:10:20] Anyway, so [00:10:22] >> he's a he's a special guy. I watched him [00:10:24] on Sean Hannity a long time ago. He used [00:10:26] to be a Democrat. You know, Leo was a [00:10:28] Democrat. That's a that's a long time [00:10:30] ago, right? Can you imagine you were a [00:10:32] Democrat? [00:10:33] >> I can't I can't imagine it. Trump [00:10:35] supporter. [00:10:36] >> You'd see him with Leo 2.0 up in the [00:10:38] hat. We love him. He's a great man, [00:10:40] actually. General Counsel for the [00:10:43] Department of War, Earl Matthews. That's [00:10:45] a big deal. Thank you, Earl. [cheering] [00:10:48] Thank you very much. I see Johnny over [00:10:50] there with a great book. How is the book [00:10:52] doing? Good. What a great person you [00:10:55] are. Great book. White House Pardons are [00:10:59] This is a big job. This is a big job. [00:11:02] Alice Johnson. Alice. [00:11:05] [applause and cheering] [00:11:06] She Where's Alice? [00:11:09] What a sweetheart. [00:11:11] I met Alice and she was uh incarcerated [00:11:15] for what some people would say today is [00:11:18] not even a fine, right, Alice? It's not [00:11:21] even a fine. And I said, "How long has [00:11:24] she been in jail?" "2 years." [00:11:27] >> I said, "22 years." And right, Alice. [00:11:31] And come on up here, Alice. [00:11:34] >> Come [cheering] on up. [00:11:38] I said 22 years. And she was on a phone [00:11:40] call. This was over a phone call. I know [00:11:43] about fake phone calls too, Alice. You [00:11:45] know, remember they tried to get me in a [00:11:47] fake phone call. But Alice was in jail [00:11:49] for like 22 years. I said, "How many [00:11:51] years does she have left?" 28. [00:11:54] >> I said, "28 years left." And I studied [00:11:57] and mean she admitted she made a little [00:11:59] mistake, but it was not the kind of a [00:12:02] mistake that you served 50 years in jail [00:12:04] for, like maybe a couple of months, [00:12:07] maybe less than that. And I said, "This [00:12:09] is the most unfair." And then when I met [00:12:11] her, I fell in love. I f my wife my wife [00:12:15] was very upset with it. Our great first [00:12:18] lady did not like that, Scott. We [00:12:20] didn't. She didn't like it. But Alice is [00:12:23] great. And say a couple of words. It was [00:12:24] so ridiculous. 22 years. She had 28 [00:12:27] left. And I said, "Let's get her the [00:12:29] hell out." And we got her out. We did a [00:12:31] commute. And then when I got to know [00:12:33] her, she was so high quality. I said, [00:12:34] "Full pardon." So, she's she's cleaner [00:12:38] than anybody in this room. Even than my [00:12:40] friend right here, she's she's cleaner [00:12:43] because of that. She's cleaner than [00:12:45] anybody in this room. [00:12:48] Thank you, Mr. President. The feeling [00:12:51] was mutual. I fell in love with this [00:12:54] man, with his heart, with with his heart [00:12:57] for this country, with his heart to [00:13:00] really bring America back to the former [00:13:04] greatness that it deserved. And that's [00:13:06] exactly what he has done. My story is [00:13:09] truly a Joseph story. This president [00:13:12] right here, President Donald Trump, [00:13:15] brought me from the prison pit [00:13:19] >> to the White House. [00:13:22] Only in America could there be a story [00:13:25] like my story. And President Trump is [00:13:29] the only president who would have had [00:13:32] the courage, the courage to bring [00:13:35] someone like me, someone who received a [00:13:38] second chance. But who knows more than [00:13:42] someone who has sit among the captives, [00:13:45] than someone who has been in captivity [00:13:47] themselves. I did not get comfortable in [00:13:50] my own freedom. But I went back as [00:13:53] Harriet Tutman says she did. She went [00:13:55] back to draw many others into freedom. [00:13:59] And President Trump has listened to [00:14:02] those recommendations. There's so much [00:14:04] more to come. Because when you see me, [00:14:08] you see a miracle. You see hope. You see [00:14:11] second chances. And you see someone who [00:14:14] is willing to roll up their sleeves and [00:14:17] do the work, do the hard work to help [00:14:20] individuals gain their freedom. [00:14:22] President Trump did something historic [00:14:24] in his first term. He signed the First [00:14:27] Step Act into law. And for that over [00:14:31] over [00:14:33] 40,000, and that number is low, over [00:14:37] 40,000 individuals have come home to [00:14:39] their families early. And you know, [00:14:42] many, many, many of those were black [00:14:44] Americans who had no hope. This [00:14:47] president right here [00:14:49] >> as you look out upon this sea of black [00:14:52] Americans, [00:14:54] this president hears you. This president [00:14:58] cares for you. Don't let anyone tell you [00:15:01] that this president right here, Donald [00:15:03] Trump, has not is not for black America [00:15:08] because he is. I'm standing here today. [00:15:11] I'm standing here today as a testament [00:15:14] as a testament to how he feels about [00:15:18] black Americans. There has never been a [00:15:21] position like this. I don't know if [00:15:23] there ever will be before, but I worked [00:15:26] with him in his first term and I'm proud [00:15:28] to now officially have the title to make [00:15:32] it happen. Let's get Let's get real with [00:15:37] the realness. Let's get behind President [00:15:40] Trump who truly has turned our nation [00:15:43] around and made us the envy of every [00:15:47] country in the world. Thank you, Mr. [00:15:50] President, and thank you, God, for [00:15:53] recognizing and raising up this man to [00:15:56] be the leader of the free world. I love [00:15:59] you. [cheering] [00:16:01] [applause] [00:16:04] Great woman. [applause] You know, when I [00:16:07] was looking for a pardon person, like a [00:16:09] pardon zar, uh they gave me somebody [00:16:12] from Harvard, somebody from Yale, [00:16:14] somebody from Princeton, somebody from [00:16:16] Penn, somebody from Stanford. [00:16:19] And I said, "Do you know anything about [00:16:21] it?" Well, we can learn, you know, they [00:16:23] can. [00:16:25] And when I met Alice, I said, "She's [00:16:28] better than these people." [00:16:30] >> That's right. [00:16:30] >> And she's done a fantastic job. You [00:16:32] know, I said to Alice, I said, "So, I'm [00:16:34] looking for people like you to let out. [00:16:37] How many people are there like you?" She [00:16:38] said, "Many." I said, "Many in jail." [00:16:41] Think of it. 22 years she was in jail [00:16:43] and she had 28 years to go on a phone [00:16:46] call. You admit you did a little [00:16:48] something wrong, right? But it was like, [00:16:51] okay, it wasn't it wasn't 50 years. Even [00:16:55] if you said six months, today it would [00:16:58] be probably nothing. But even if you [00:17:01] said some little time. But I said, I'm [00:17:03] looking for other people like you. How [00:17:05] many are there? Many. [00:17:07] >> Then I was worried because I then I was [00:17:09] worried. I said, well, maybe she's going [00:17:11] to say everybody should be let out. I [00:17:13] went out a believer in that. I said, so [00:17:15] Alice, are there people that shouldn't [00:17:17] be? You met a lot of people, right? Are [00:17:19] there people that shouldn't be let out? [00:17:21] Absolutely. Then I felt better because [00:17:24] there are some bad ones in there, too, [00:17:25] right? But you are fantastic and you've [00:17:28] been great and so respected all over the [00:17:30] all over the country, all over the world [00:17:32] in a sense. It's become you become a [00:17:34] very big story. Thank you very much, [00:17:36] Alice. I appreciate it. [00:17:38] And we have Lynn Patton. Lynn, thank [00:17:40] you. You've been such a help. [00:17:44] And Kelly Mitchell, thank you, Kelly. [00:17:47] Thank you. Where's Kelly? Thank you, [00:17:50] Kelly. [00:17:51] And we have Oh, Dr. Alva King, [00:17:57] [cheering] [00:17:58] >> thank you, darling. Thank you. You've [00:18:01] been with me from day one, right? [00:18:03] >> From day one, she's been there. She's [00:18:05] been fighting for me, and I fight for [00:18:07] her. I don't have to do too much [00:18:09] fighting for her. She takes care of [00:18:10] herself. Thank [00:18:11] >> you. Merry Christmas. [00:18:12] >> Ah, thank you. We can say Merry [00:18:14] Christmas is right. Thank you. Thank you [00:18:16] for all that support for years. For [00:18:18] years, right? Even before Alice. A long [00:18:20] time. Years before Alice, right? Thank [00:18:23] you, darling. Karen Rankin, thank you [00:18:26] very much. Thank you very much. Thank [00:18:28] you, Karen. [00:18:31] And Deonte Johnson, [00:18:34] thank [cheering] you. [applause] [00:18:37] And a man who's been with me for a long [00:18:39] time, and he's never asked me for a [00:18:41] thing. Bruce, thank you very much. Bruce [00:18:44] Lavell, [00:18:46] thank you very much. [00:18:48] I wasn't sure if they had your name down [00:18:50] here, Bruce. I was going to mention you [00:18:51] anyway. Okay. But they had your name. [00:18:53] They did a job finally. They always [00:18:55] leave a lot of names out and that [00:18:57] bothers me. Like I see Scott Bessant. [00:19:00] His name was left out. First time ever. [00:19:02] Look at Scott. I'm looking for his name. [00:19:04] [cheering] [00:19:06] I'm looking for his name. I said I [00:19:08] better. He's the greatest Treasury [00:19:09] Secretary we've ever had. I think he's [00:19:12] How's the economy doing, Scott? Good. [00:19:15] >> The best. It's really people People [00:19:17] People are going to see and watch the [00:19:19] State of the Union. We're going to be [00:19:20] talking about the economy. We inherited [00:19:22] a mess and now we have prices way down. [00:19:25] We have energy way down. Gasoline is now [00:19:28] breaking $2 a gallon in many places and [00:19:32] it's been actually amazing. But Scott's [00:19:34] fantastic. I don't want to forget to [00:19:36] mention it might be in big trouble. All [00:19:37] of a sudden the economy would turn bad [00:19:39] on us. I'd say I'd say what happened. It [00:19:41] was Scott. Thank you Scott and Secretary [00:19:44] Lori Chavez Darmer. Lori, thank you very [00:19:48] much. [00:19:51] Secretary of Labor, Assistant Attorney [00:19:54] General, Harit Diller, how are you [00:19:56] doing? How are you doing with Harvard? [00:19:58] How are you doing with Harvard? [00:20:00] >> You know, Harvard's extremely [00:20:01] discriminatory, unfortunately. And it's [00:20:04] working good. Hara is on their trail, [00:20:07] right? [00:20:08] >> Good. Good. You keep suing them. The [00:20:10] hell with them. [00:20:13] I like the historically black colleges [00:20:17] and universities [00:20:20] which I which I saved. [00:20:24] Leo 2.0 said it but which I saved. Uh we [00:20:28] saved them but they had uh no funding [00:20:31] and every year they'd come back and I [00:20:32] got to know some of the heads and every [00:20:34] year they come back and after my third [00:20:35] year first term I said you guys keep [00:20:37] coming back. Why do you keep coming [00:20:39] back? He said, 'We have to come back [00:20:41] every year for years and years. They had [00:20:42] to come back. And one of them said, one [00:20:44] of the heads, a great guy, said, "They [00:20:46] make us feel like beggars. We have to [00:20:48] come back." I said, "I'm going to get [00:20:49] you long-term financing." And I got it [00:20:50] for them. And I said, "The only" I said, [00:20:53] "The only bad thing, I'll never see you [00:20:55] guys again. I'll never haven't seen too [00:20:57] many of them." But we took care of the [00:20:59] historically black colleges and [00:21:02] universities, right? And then it was a [00:21:05] great thing to do. Uh, and so many [00:21:08] others are in the audience that are just [00:21:10] friends of mine. Look at them. So many. [00:21:12] But if I introduce all of you, we're [00:21:14] going to be here a long time. And that's [00:21:16] unacceptable. [00:21:18] Not only are we celebrating the century [00:21:20] of Black History Month, also uh, as you [00:21:24] know, this year we'll also be [00:21:25] celebrating the 250th anniversary of [00:21:27] nation's founding. [00:21:30] And the good thing when they cheated on [00:21:33] the election, they made me wait four [00:21:35] years. said because I waited four years [00:21:37] I get the 250th year I get the Olympics [00:21:41] which I was the one got that got it and [00:21:44] I get the World Cup. So, I got the World [00:21:47] Cup and I said, you know, it's too bad [00:21:48] before all this nonsense takes place, [00:21:50] took place. I said, it's too bad I got [00:21:52] the World Cup to come here. Johnny, [00:21:54] another Johnny, we got the World Cup. It [00:21:56] was fantastic, the head of it, one of [00:21:58] the great people. And uh I said, the [00:22:01] only bad part is I won't be in office [00:22:03] because my four years will be up. This [00:22:04] would have been the more traditional [00:22:06] route. And then they cheated on the [00:22:08] election. And I said, now we won by so [00:22:12] much. We won by millions of votes, but [00:22:13] they cheated. It was during a co period. [00:22:15] and they and we did it again and we we [00:22:18] made it too big to rig. Too big to rig. [00:22:21] And by doing that, I ended up getting [00:22:24] the Olympics. I ended up because we were [00:22:26] responsible for both of them. And we're [00:22:29] going to have a great year, but we're [00:22:31] going to have a great three years. We're [00:22:32] going to have hopefully a great [00:22:33] hopefully we're going to have a great [00:22:34] century because that's ultimately what [00:22:37] we'll get started. [00:22:40] But uh as we honor America's 250 and I [00:22:43] can't say that I got the 250. I tried [00:22:45] doing that a couple of times, Bruce. I [00:22:47] said, uh, I got the Olympics, I got the [00:22:50] World Cup, and I got the 250th year. [00:22:52] They said, "You didn't do that." I said, [00:22:54] "You're right about that. I didn't do [00:22:55] too. We happened to be here at the right [00:22:57] time." That's all that was. But we thank [00:23:00] God for the strength and courage and [00:23:01] grit and devotion of black Americans who [00:23:04] have helped make America the most [00:23:06] powerful country in the history of the [00:23:08] world. We now have, and you saw that [00:23:10] with our uh with our attack a few weeks [00:23:13] ago on Venezuela. We have the greatest [00:23:16] military in the world. We make the [00:23:18] greatest equipment in the world. There's [00:23:19] nobody even close. Nearly 10,000 [00:23:22] African-Americans fought for the patriot [00:23:25] cause in the Revolutionary War. Did you [00:23:28] know that 10,000 and actually a number [00:23:30] even I've heard even higher than that [00:23:32] helping secure our independence and [00:23:35] every generation since from the Buffalo [00:23:38] soldiers to the Tuskegee airmen black [00:23:41] Americans have stepped forward to defend [00:23:44] the flag and to defend our country like [00:23:47] few others really like few others and [00:23:49] you've never really been given the [00:23:51] recognition that you should get for that [00:23:53] you know that Ben they never I don't [00:23:55] think a lot of people have given the [00:23:56] kind of recog recognition, but everyone [00:23:59] knows all about the Tuskegee Airmen. [00:24:01] They were great and uh amazing. The [00:24:04] Buffalo Soldiers. Do you know the [00:24:05] Buffalo Soldiers? [00:24:07] >> Good stuff, right? [00:24:09] >> From jazz to the blues. That you know [00:24:11] that you do get recognition for jazz to [00:24:15] blues. From rock and roll to rap, black [00:24:18] artists like Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters. [00:24:21] How How about Nicki Minaj? Do we love [00:24:23] Nicki Minaj? [00:24:24] >> Right. [00:24:27] I love Nicki Minaj. She was here a [00:24:29] couple of weeks ago. She's so beautiful. [00:24:31] Her skin so beautiful. I said, "Nikki, [00:24:33] so be her nails. Her nails are they like [00:24:37] that long?" I said I said, "Nikki, are [00:24:40] they real?" She said, you know, she [00:24:43] didn't want to get into that, [00:24:46] but she was so beautiful and so great. [00:24:48] And she and she gets it, you know, more [00:24:51] importantly, frankly, she gets it. But [00:24:53] black leaders from Frederick Douglas to [00:24:56] Martin Luther King, [00:24:58] >> right, little relative over here [00:25:01] >> have made our country freer and really [00:25:04] uh what what they've really done is made [00:25:07] life more just and black athletes have [00:25:11] inspired billions around the globe from [00:25:13] Sugar Ray Robinson. Sugar Ray Leonard [00:25:16] also by the way great what a great [00:25:18] fighter Muhammad Ali who is a friend of [00:25:20] mine. And I put a picture of myself and [00:25:22] Muhammad. He was another piece of work. [00:25:24] You talk about a piece of work. But he [00:25:26] could fight, couldn't he? Huh? Mike [00:25:27] Tyson. Boy, I tell you, Mike has been [00:25:29] loyal to me. Whenever they come out, [00:25:31] they say, "Trump's a racist." You know, [00:25:33] it's like a statement. Trump's a racist. [00:25:35] Mike Tyson goes, "He not a racist. He's [00:25:37] my friend. He's been there from the [00:25:38] beginning, good times and bad. But Mike [00:25:41] Tyson's a great guy and he's was so [00:25:44] loyal. Always been loyal." And Hershel [00:25:46] Walker speaking about loyal. How good a [00:25:48] football player was Hershel? [00:25:50] >> Hershel Walker. Now he's ambassador to [00:25:52] the Bahamas. I don't know. Bahamas, [00:25:55] Bermuda. Is it Bahamas? Whatever. It's [00:25:59] nice. A nice place. You'd like that, [00:26:02] Bruce, wouldn't you? Bruce wants it. And [00:26:05] uh a friend, a guy who became really he [00:26:08] liked Trump. Jim Brown. He was tough. [00:26:11] He'd come in, he was very silent. He was [00:26:13] silent but deadly. He'd come in and he'd [00:26:15] look at people and if he didn't like [00:26:17] him, he'd just look at me and he got no [00:26:20] good. He'd want to rip their heart out. [00:26:22] I I would say there can't be a better [00:26:24] football, greater football player than [00:26:26] Jim Brown. By the way, Lawrence Taylor, [00:26:28] great friend. Lawrence, the great [00:26:30] Lawrence Taylor, greatest defensive [00:26:32] player probably in the history of [00:26:34] football. He's a great friend of mine. [00:26:36] And uh but I'm longer off the tea than [00:26:39] him. You know why? Because I take the [00:26:41] club back further. He takes the club [00:26:43] back this far and he hits it 200 yards. [00:26:45] When you can do that, you're strong. [00:26:48] He's a great He is a great guy. I'll [00:26:50] tell you that. And all of this is a part [00:26:52] of the legacy that we celebrate in July [00:26:55] 4th, 2026 because Black History Month is [00:26:59] really all about American history. [00:27:04] >> And this is a big year. This is a big [00:27:06] year for you. During my first term, I [00:27:09] was honored to deliver unprecedented [00:27:11] victories for black Americans and all [00:27:14] Americans, frankly, but black Americans. [00:27:16] I singlehandedly secured record [00:27:18] long-term funding for, I told you, the [00:27:20] historically black colleges and [00:27:23] universities. I created nearly 9,000 [00:27:26] opportunity zones with our great [00:27:28] secretary. And also I think we have to [00:27:30] do and as I said before Tim Scott really [00:27:33] really he came to me with that idea and [00:27:35] we put it into use right Scott and I [00:27:39] signed historic criminal justice reform [00:27:41] into law. We got criminal justice reform [00:27:43] just so you know uh for 30 years you [00:27:48] more than any other group of people has [00:27:51] been trying to get criminal justice [00:27:52] reform and they couldn't do it. and a [00:27:54] group of people came to my office and uh [00:27:57] they asked me to do it. They couldn't [00:28:00] get it. They needed five conservative [00:28:03] votes in the Senate and conservative was [00:28:07] five conservative white votes in the [00:28:09] Senate. And of the five, all five of [00:28:12] them were totally against. And I called [00:28:14] them up and they were great. They were [00:28:17] great. And they, one of them was Senator [00:28:19] John Kennedy. To be honest with you, he [00:28:20] was he was not in favor of it. and I [00:28:24] spoke to him and he was 100% he's a [00:28:25] great senator, a great guy and uh you [00:28:29] know that he was he was a tremendous [00:28:30] help. So we got criminal justice reform [00:28:33] done and approved and nobody thought it [00:28:36] could be done. And it's no wonder that [00:28:38] in 2024 we won more African-American [00:28:40] votes than any Republican presidential [00:28:43] candidate in history. [00:28:46] And just over one year ago, we had a [00:28:49] dead country. We were a dead country. [00:28:51] Scott just said it. We were dead as a [00:28:53] doornail. We had an idiot as a [00:28:55] president. [00:28:56] >> We had a man that was not a president. [00:28:59] Number one, he didn't win the election. [00:29:01] He was not a president. [00:29:03] >> Yeah. Right. He was a real beauty, [00:29:06] wasn't he? [00:29:07] >> He allowed 25 million people into our [00:29:10] country. Many of them should not have [00:29:11] been here. Yes, sir. [00:29:12] >> And we've done. Now we have, by the way, [00:29:14] we went from the worst border in history [00:29:16] to the best, by far the best border in [00:29:18] history. [00:29:20] But I had the support of many people, [00:29:22] Bruce. I had the support of many people [00:29:24] in this room. And we've got right now [00:29:27] the hottest country anywhere in the [00:29:28] world. King of Saudi Arabia told me [00:29:30] that. He said, "You were a dead country [00:29:32] a year and a half ago. Now you're the [00:29:33] hottest country in the world. We're the [00:29:34] hottest country right now anywhere in [00:29:36] the world and you're a big part of it [00:29:38] and you're a big beneficiary." I tell [00:29:40] what, take a look at your 401ks. Has [00:29:42] anybody got a 401k that's lower than it [00:29:45] was? Better. Put your hand down. [00:29:47] >> Lower than it was a year ago. They're [00:29:50] double. I mean, they are through the [00:29:52] roof. The stock market has hit 53 [00:29:55] all-time record highs since the [00:29:57] election. And earlier this month, the [00:29:59] Dow Jones Industrial Average rose above [00:30:01] 50,000 for the first time ever. Right, [00:30:04] Scott? First time ever. And all the [00:30:07] also, you know, they don't talk about [00:30:08] this. The S&P broke 7,000. So when I got [00:30:13] elected, they said for the S&P to break [00:30:16] 7,000 within four years would be a great [00:30:18] achievement for the president and for [00:30:21] the Dow Jones to break 50,000 would be a [00:30:24] great a great thing, but it's not [00:30:26] possible. They were talking about in [00:30:27] four years, Scott, they said in four [00:30:29] years it would not be possible to break [00:30:32] 50,000 or 7,000 under these two very [00:30:35] important uh call them a metric metrics. [00:30:39] And you know what happened? We broke it [00:30:42] before the end of my first year. So, [00:30:44] right. [applause] [00:30:47] So, we did something. So, they said we [00:30:49] couldn't do it in four years. We did it [00:30:50] in one year. More Americans are working [00:30:53] today than at any time in American [00:30:54] history. So, we have more Americans [00:30:57] right now working than at any time. And [00:30:59] you know, when I say this stuff, I get [00:31:00] the fake news back there. A lot of it. [00:31:04] Thank you. I agree. Sometimes we have to [00:31:07] be very careful because they actually go [00:31:08] and it's not pretty Leo. We have to get [00:31:11] Leo and the DOJ involved. [00:31:14] But uh think of that, Leo. Think of [00:31:16] that. More Americans are working today [00:31:19] than any time in history. [00:31:22] And since I took office, [00:31:24] African-American employment has [00:31:26] increased by [00:31:28] 182,000. The highest ever jobs. [00:31:32] 182,000. [00:31:34] Nearly half a million black Americans [00:31:36] have rejoined the labor force since we [00:31:38] took office. Half a million. Wages for [00:31:41] workers have increased $1,000, $2,000, [00:31:44] even three, and even sometimes in some [00:31:47] cases $5,000 a year. That's faster than [00:31:51] inflation. So wages have gone up at a [00:31:54] much faster clip than inflation. We took [00:31:57] over the worst inflation in the history [00:31:58] of our country. They say 48 years or 49 [00:32:01] years. I said that, you know, I said [00:32:04] inflation under Biden has went up more [00:32:07] than at any time in the history of our [00:32:09] country. They said he's not right about [00:32:11] that. It's 49 years. I said, "All right, [00:32:14] I'll accept that, too." Actually, I [00:32:16] think it sounds worse, Har [00:32:18] because when you say the worst ever, but [00:32:20] when you say the worst in 49 years, I'll [00:32:22] take that. Right. The fake news got me [00:32:25] in that one. I think I think I was [00:32:27] right, by the way. But I'll accept 48 or [00:32:29] 49 years. But for the first time in many [00:32:32] years, 100% of all net job creation is [00:32:35] going to Americanborn citizens. Think of [00:32:38] that. 100%. [applause] [00:32:41] And in the last administration was going [00:32:43] mostly to illegal aliens that came in, [00:32:45] many of them murderers and others. Last [00:32:48] summer, we passed the largest [00:32:49] workingclass tax cuts in the history of [00:32:51] our country. That includes no tax on [00:32:53] tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on [00:32:57] social security for our great seniors. [00:32:59] And you're going to see that, you know, [00:33:00] it just kicked in on January 1st. You're [00:33:02] going to see tremendous results and [00:33:04] they're already seeing it. And I think [00:33:06] we're going to have GDPs. We're going to [00:33:07] have numbers that nobody's ever seen [00:33:09] before. Scott joining us this afternoon [00:33:12] and really somebody that is fantastic. [00:33:15] Anetta Bradford. In 2019, Anetta and her [00:33:18] husband opened an incredibly successful [00:33:21] coffee shop in Arkansas named Hebrews [00:33:24] 11:1. That's an interesting name. No one [00:33:27] thinks uh that the no tax on tips [00:33:30] matters. Well, it does matter and it [00:33:31] mattered a lot to Annetta. And she was [00:33:34] able to grow her business just in a [00:33:36] short period of time and hired more [00:33:37] employees and she's making a fortune. [00:33:40] I'd like you to give some of the people [00:33:41] in that room some of that money. [00:33:42] Annetta, you should make a come in. [00:33:45] Arnetta, come. Where are you? Arnetta, [00:33:48] come on up here. Aretta, come on up. Hi, [00:33:50] darling. [applause] [00:33:52] [cheering] [00:33:53] Let me move that down. [00:33:57] I I can't do anything first but say to [00:33:59] God be the glory. [00:34:02] >> I have no business being here other than [00:34:04] him having me here. And so yeah, I'm not [00:34:07] going to do it. I'm not going to preach. [00:34:09] >> I'mma settle myself. [00:34:11] >> Thank you so much for inviting me and [00:34:14] having me here. It is such an honor to [00:34:16] be here today. Um Hebrews 11:1. People [00:34:19] ask me all the time, why did I even open [00:34:20] a business? Why did I even call it [00:34:22] Hebrews 11:11? Hebrews 11:1 is my very [00:34:25] favorite scripture. Now faith is the [00:34:28] substance of things hoped for and the [00:34:29] evidence of things not seen. That [00:34:32] scripture has walked with me. It has has [00:34:34] had grown me from a little girl on up. [00:34:38] Not having no longer my mother here, no [00:34:40] longer having my father here, my husband [00:34:42] not having his mother and his father [00:34:43] here. We opened Hebrews 11:1 with no [00:34:46] funding, no money, no big family [00:34:48] investors, no business loans, didn't [00:34:51] have great credit. It was us and faith [00:34:53] in God. [00:34:55] >> That was seven years ago. [00:34:57] >> But I ran that business with just myself [00:34:59] and one employee. Then here comes no tax [00:35:02] on tips. I was able to hire seven more [00:35:05] employees [00:35:07] >> just by [applause] what you did. Not [00:35:10] only that, I was open able to open a [00:35:12] second location on our college campus. [00:35:16] >> Things are just going off simply because [00:35:19] having now faith. And so I love the fact [00:35:22] of that scripture. Now I say all of that [00:35:24] as to I'm trying to stick to my little [00:35:25] written down thing that I wrote. I don't [00:35:28] know how to do that so well. Um but as a [00:35:30] small business owner, I understand how [00:35:32] critical support is. I understand that [00:35:34] you have to have the right people that [00:35:36] make the right policies for us as small [00:35:38] business owners. So no tax on tips has [00:35:42] been a stream of blessing for me and my [00:35:44] business, not just mine, but I know so [00:35:46] many people across the country. I know a [00:35:48] lot of us don't want to talk about the [00:35:49] good part of it. We only want to share [00:35:51] the negative. But I'm here today to tell [00:35:52] you you've done a great thing. [00:35:54] >> Thank you for uh just loving on us and [00:35:56] showing us that even in small town Hope, [00:35:59] Arkansas, and I have got to say this, I [00:36:02] have the best governor in the world. [00:36:06] >> I don't only just call Sarah my friend, [00:36:08] I call her my sister. And so that's why [00:36:10] I am here today to just tell you that no [00:36:13] tax on tips has been an amazing blessing [00:36:15] for me. President Trump has been an [00:36:17] amazing blessing for me. And at the end [00:36:20] of the day, Jesus has been [cheering] an [00:36:23] amazing blessing for me. I love you guys [00:36:27] and thank you so much cuz I AM A YOUTH [00:36:29] PASTOR, but I will not preach on today. [00:36:32] I love y'all. Thank you so much. Thank [00:36:33] you. [00:36:35] [cheering] [00:36:36] >> Good job. [00:36:38] >> Good job. Huh? [00:36:43] >> So, thank you very much, Arnetta. And we [00:36:46] can't provide opportunity for the next [00:36:48] generation if we do not also have a [00:36:51] thing called law and order. We need law [00:36:53] and order. You know, Washington DC is [00:36:55] amazing. It was a crime capital. It was [00:36:58] a horror show. A year ago, it was really [00:37:01] dangerous. And now it's one of the [00:37:02] safest cities anywhere in the country. [00:37:04] And we're in Memphis, Tennessee now, [00:37:06] where it's like a different world. In [00:37:09] four months, we've made it safe. Uh [00:37:11] we're in uh Louisiana as you know or [00:37:14] lots of other places and we have the [00:37:16] lowest crime numbers that we've had in [00:37:18] many years. We have the lowest murder [00:37:20] numbers in 125 years since 1900. And [00:37:24] that's despite the fact that a lot of [00:37:26] people are here, but those people have [00:37:27] been taken out. Lots of them have been [00:37:29] taken out. That's why we stopped the [00:37:31] invasion at the southern border. And [00:37:33] just one year ago, and think of this, [00:37:35] one year ago, we had the absolute worst [00:37:38] border that we've ever had. And now we [00:37:40] have the safest border that we've ever [00:37:42] had. So it's going to be really [00:37:44] something. 125 years ago, that's before [00:37:46] my father was born. I had a wonderful [00:37:48] father. But that was before. So we have [00:37:51] murders are down from 125 years. We had [00:37:53] the best numbers when you think about [00:37:55] it. That's pretty incredible. And those [00:37:57] numbers are made up by Democrats. Can [00:37:59] you believe it? They don't want to give [00:38:00] me those numbers. They can add a couple [00:38:02] of people here and there. But I've also [00:38:05] deployed the National Guard to bring [00:38:06] back safety to Memphis and to New [00:38:08] Orleans and Washington. And the National [00:38:10] Guard has been incredible and people are [00:38:12] safe. In the case of Washington, the [00:38:14] restaurants were all closing up. People [00:38:16] were getting really badly badly hurt and [00:38:18] killed, frankly, many people killed. And [00:38:21] now you can walk down the street and you [00:38:23] have nothing to fear. We have one of the [00:38:24] safest cities in the world. And it [00:38:26] happened very fast. [00:38:28] One of those who knows the importance of [00:38:30] this mission is Felicia Cook, a lifelong [00:38:33] Washingtonian who tragically lost her [00:38:35] grandson to violence in 2017. Felicia, [00:38:39] uh, we're so sorry. And you are a [00:38:41] spectacular person. If you could say a [00:38:43] few words, please. Thank you very much. [00:38:46] >> Yes. Come on. Oh, yeah. Oh, help her up. [00:38:49] We don't want any mistakes. [00:38:52] Come on in. [00:38:55] >> Yes, you can. Thank you. [00:38:57] >> Thank you. [00:38:59] >> So nice. [00:39:01] >> I like her. [00:39:03] >> Please. [00:39:03] >> I like him too. [00:39:05] >> One thing I like about him, he keeps it [00:39:07] real just like grandma. [00:39:10] >> I appreciate that cuz I can trust him [00:39:12] cuz he tells exactly how he feel and [00:39:14] what he think. [00:39:15] >> Thank God for this president. [00:39:20] [applause] [00:39:21] >> I am filled. my cuff runth over [00:39:25] >> because he allowed his his constituents, [00:39:29] his people to come to my house to [00:39:31] interview me to talk about the murder of [00:39:34] my grandson. [00:39:36] >> It seemed like nobody cared. I'm an [00:39:39] advocate for murder. I marched. I [00:39:42] rallied. I pulled out other families in [00:39:44] the District of Columbia that had [00:39:46] murders and did not have answers. [00:39:51] We marched and we rally and nobody heard [00:39:53] me. Democrats get mad at me [00:39:57] until this Republican send his [00:40:00] constituents, his people out there to [00:40:03] interview me in my home. Have you ever [00:40:04] heard of a thing? [00:40:07] Then they invited me twice before [00:40:09] Congress to testify for the beautiful [00:40:12] bill that's going to change crime in the [00:40:16] district. If you kill somebody, okay, [00:40:20] YOU TAKE A LIFE, YOU DO LIFE. [00:40:23] >> JUST that simple. [00:40:26] >> If you do a harsh crime, YOU DO HUSH [00:40:28] TIME. JUST that simple. [00:40:31] >> And then we need National Guard. AND [00:40:34] WHICH WE DID YEARS AGO. [00:40:36] >> He brought it on. [00:40:40] >> I love him. I don't want to hear nothing [00:40:42] you got to say about that racist stuff. [00:40:44] And don't be looking at me ON THE NEWS [00:40:46] HATING on me BECAUSE I'M STANDING UP FOR [00:40:49] SOMEBODY THAT DESERVES TO BE STAND UP [00:40:51] FOR. GET OFF THE MAN'S BACK. LET HIM DO [00:40:53] HIS JOB. HE'S DOING THE RIGHT THING. [00:40:55] BACK UP OFF OF IT. AND GRANDMA SAID IT. [00:41:02] [applause and cheering] [00:41:10] [cheering] [00:41:16] >> [cheering] [00:41:20] [applause] [00:41:21] >> WOW, that's pretty good. When is she [00:41:24] running for office? Felicia, when are [00:41:26] you running for office, please? You have [00:41:27] my endorsement. You have my endorsement, [00:41:29] Felicia. [00:41:31] Thank you, darling. Very That's great. [00:41:33] What a great Well, it's And it's from [00:41:35] the heart. [00:41:36] >> Your little baby, right, was uh just so [00:41:39] horribly horribly taken from you. [00:41:42] Under the Trump administration, we [00:41:44] believe that no community should be [00:41:46] abandoned to the scourge of violent [00:41:48] crime. And we're saving thousands and [00:41:50] thousands of lives in many cities. And [00:41:53] frankly, if these radical left lunatic [00:41:55] Democrats would come and say, "Please [00:41:58] help us. Please, we'd stop crimes all [00:42:00] over the place." And we're doing it in a [00:42:02] lot of lot of cities. Sometimes we have [00:42:04] to force ourselves upon them because [00:42:06] they're so bad. And I don't even think [00:42:08] they realize what's happening to their [00:42:09] cities and their towns. But uh every [00:42:12] town that we go in, every city that we [00:42:14] go in, like Washington, Felicia, you [00:42:15] feel much safer now. Totally safe. You [00:42:17] you can walk to a restaurant. The [00:42:20] restaurants were all closing. Now you [00:42:22] can't get a restaurant. That the bad [00:42:24] news is you can't get into a restaurant. [00:42:26] But uh it's a great thing to see what's [00:42:28] happening in Washington. It's like it's [00:42:30] a hot place. And hopefully uh people [00:42:32] will be coming in record numbers and [00:42:34] it's been I know we need a little help. [00:42:37] You need help in Atlanta. He just said [00:42:40] You're right. Atlanta. [00:42:43] >> Atlanta. We could We could take care of [00:42:45] Atlanta. [00:42:46] >> I'll tell you what. You ought to get [00:42:47] them to call me. We could take care of [00:42:50] Atlanta so fast. [00:42:52] [cheering] [00:42:57] >> They don't want to call. They don't want [00:42:59] to They don't want to call because they [00:43:01] don't want to admit it and they'll never [00:43:03] fix it themselves. Don't forget, we move [00:43:05] people out. We don't just go in and, you [00:43:07] know, be tough guys. We move people out. [00:43:09] We take career criminals and we get them [00:43:12] out. We bring them back to the country [00:43:13] from where they came. [00:43:15] >> And think of it, 90% of the crime is [00:43:18] caused by 2% of the people. [00:43:21] >> Think of it. So when you get the [00:43:23] criminals out, you solve a lot of [00:43:25] problems. Another way that we're [00:43:27] fulfilling our duty to the next [00:43:28] generation is the single biggest thing [00:43:31] that's happened having to do with [00:43:32] schools and education. It's called [00:43:34] school choice in our great big beautiful [00:43:37] bill. [00:43:39] the our bill, our beautiful bill, which [00:43:41] really covers four years. We put it all [00:43:44] together. That's why we call it the [00:43:45] great big beautiful bill. This will help [00:43:47] millions of African-American children [00:43:49] and ensure that no child is condemned to [00:43:52] a failing government or a horrible [00:43:54] school. And we have a person here who's [00:43:56] fantastic on this subject. Greta, would [00:43:59] you please come up, please? Greta, come [00:44:01] on up. [00:44:02] >> Thank you. And her beautiful daughter. [00:44:05] Thanks, Greta. [00:44:06] >> Thank you. [00:44:08] God bless you. Thank you. [00:44:11] >> Well, I did owe to God be the glory. [00:44:15] >> And we're grateful for our president. [00:44:17] He's doing some tremendous work. And I [00:44:19] want to remind those that don't know [00:44:21] that this was prophesied. So, you [00:44:23] weren't supposed to have the second term [00:44:25] when you when it came about. This is [00:44:28] your season. And God said that it was [00:44:30] going to be rough the first two years [00:44:32] and that things were going to happen, [00:44:33] but then the last two years are going to [00:44:35] be great. I hope so. Yes, you're you're [00:44:37] going to do some tremendous things. And [00:44:39] so for that, we thank you on behalf of [00:44:42] all the mothers all around the world. [00:44:44] I'm from Texas. I live in a zip code [00:44:47] that I didn't have an opportunity to [00:44:49] have a choice to go to school. And so [00:44:52] when I raised my children, I wanted a [00:44:54] better opportunity for them. And I'm so [00:44:56] grateful to ACE scholarships and all the [00:44:59] doors that the president is opening for [00:45:01] education. My son was in a school that [00:45:06] he didn't have any voice and he found [00:45:09] drugs in school and he died. And so I'm [00:45:13] here today to just show my appreciation [00:45:16] for all the moms around the world. We [00:45:19] have a choice now. This choice is so [00:45:22] important to mothers. I have a child [00:45:24] that because I had a choice, she's in [00:45:28] private school. She's thriving. [00:45:32] She's thriving. [00:45:34] >> She's going to be a anesthesiology nurse [00:45:38] and she's doing great. And a [00:45:40] scholarships was a big part of that. [00:45:43] Changing education changes everything. [00:45:46] >> Thank you. [00:45:47] >> Changing education [00:45:49] >> changes everything. In my zip code, it [00:45:53] feels like we were locked in a cage and [00:45:56] being locked in a cage and can't get [00:45:58] out. And because of all of the things [00:46:01] that you're doing for education, now we [00:46:04] can get out and soar. Our children can [00:46:06] have a chance to be prosperous just like [00:46:09] other children. And I thank you for [00:46:11] that. This is a great opportunity. So on [00:46:14] behalf of all the mothers all around the [00:46:16] world, I stand here and I give you your [00:46:18] flowers while you can still get them. [00:46:21] Thank you. I appreciate you. Give me a [00:46:23] hug. [00:46:25] Thank you. [applause] [00:46:26] And this is here. Look how beautiful. [00:46:28] What a beautiful. [00:46:30] >> Thank you. [00:46:31] >> Wow. So nice. [00:46:33] >> Thank you very much. Thanks, Greta. [00:46:36] So, we're calling it an end. And I just [00:46:38] want to say this is an honor to be here. [00:46:40] We celebrate Black History Month. We [00:46:43] honor the memory of those who came [00:46:45] before us by continuing their legacy and [00:46:48] fighting for an American that's really [00:46:50] an America that's safe and strong and [00:46:53] prosperous. We now have a country that's [00:46:55] bigger, better, greater than ever [00:46:57] before. I want to thank all my [00:46:58] secretaries and all of the people that [00:47:00] came here. Our military leaders are [00:47:02] here. We have a lot of people that are [00:47:04] here and I want to thank you all. But [00:47:06] this is a very special group of people. [00:47:08] So, happy Black History Month, happy [00:47:12] Black History, and happy Black History [00:47:16] Century. Thank you all. Thank you, [00:47:18] Bruce. Thank you. Thank you very much, [00:47:21] everybody. [applause and cheering] [00:47:35] Thank you everybody.
