"I will fucking kill you if you answer another question with more than five words, okay."

[00:00:00] I I think I'm giving you a long answer,
[00:00:02] but to understand,
[00:00:04] you know, in context because if I just
[00:00:06] say yes or no, you won't understand it.
[00:00:09] And I just I really want this whole
[00:00:11] group to understand it. And
[00:00:16] uh I never would have guessed I was
[00:00:18] being conned.
[00:00:20] Never ever.
[00:00:22] The deceit was so subtle.
[00:00:25] >> Yes, I know.
[00:00:26] >> Answer the question.
[00:00:28] >> Okay. I I I'm sure we all appreciate the
[00:00:30] stories. We're just trying to to answer
[00:00:33] the questions they actually wanted the
[00:00:34] answers.
[00:00:35] >> That's very helpful. Thank you.
[00:00:36] >> I I hope it is.
[00:00:38] >> And could I ask you I think you said in
[00:00:40] the last hour it was your understanding
[00:00:42] that Mr. Epstein while he was working
[00:00:45] for you also had other clients. Is that
[00:00:48] right?
[00:00:48] >> Yes.
[00:00:50] >> So would that mean that his work for you
[00:00:52] you understood it to be part-time?
[00:01:02] I wouldn't describe it that way. You
[00:01:05] know, I knew it wasn't full. I thought
[00:01:07] it wasn't fulltime cuz he had other
[00:01:09] clients of substance, real substance. As
[00:01:13] a listener, it sounds like substantial
[00:01:16] demands that you're describing. You were
[00:01:17] and of course are one of the wealthiest
[00:01:19] people in the country managing all of
[00:01:21] your personal affairs. I would think
[00:01:24] would technically demand all of
[00:01:26] somebody's bandwidth. Sounds like that
[00:01:27] was an issue with the guy before
[00:01:29] Epstein. How was he able to do that job
[00:01:32] but also do work for other clients at
[00:01:34] the same time?
[00:01:36] >> Well,
[00:01:38] like Peg does the work now.
[00:01:41] Um,
[00:01:44] I I think you could supervise the work,
[00:01:47] uh, overview it,
[00:01:51] which isn't the work that I do, and and
[00:01:55] say you could do really thorough work if
[00:01:57] you were doing it three or four days a
[00:01:59] month, certainly a week or a day, a a
[00:02:02] day a month, just focusing on these
[00:02:04] things because they're accountants and
[00:02:06] tax lawyers and other people. And then
[00:02:09] what's in setting up as an example, I
[00:02:13] wouldn't I I didn't have the idea to
[00:02:15] inventory [clears throat] furniture or
[00:02:18] valuables. And it's like how could you
[00:02:22] have all silverware in your house and
[00:02:24] what
[00:02:26] I didn't count forks and spoons? And
[00:02:28] it's like Jeff said people could be
[00:02:30] walking out with forks and spoons. Gee,
[00:02:32] that's a good idea. We ought to have an
[00:02:34] inventory. Then there was a I hired a
[00:02:38] lady to be like the house manager who
[00:02:41] had run the US embassy in Rome and she
[00:02:44] said, "Yeah, I I know how to do this."
[00:02:45] And I said and I said, "Well, why don't
[00:02:47] we keep inventories of stuff?" And she
[00:02:50] said, "Yeah, I could do that." So she
[00:02:52] did that as that's kind of a puny
[00:02:54] example, but I wouldn't have had the
[00:02:56] idea, but then all the things were
[00:02:59] inventoried. That wasn't work for me or
[00:03:01] Jeffrey. It was just regularly done.
[00:03:06] kill you. Answer another
[00:03:08] question. Backwards. Okay.
[00:03:12] >> Answer the question. Okay.
[00:03:14] >> [laughter]
