[00:00:00] We want to talk with FBI Director Cash
[00:00:03] Patel who is making time to join us
[00:00:05] here. Uh welcome to the show. Uh Mr.
[00:00:07] Director,
[00:00:09] >> it's always great to be with you guys.
[00:00:11] Thanks for having me on.
[00:00:12] >> Well, thank you for making the time for
[00:00:14] us. We get right into it. Yesterday was
[00:00:16] a big day. There was a FBI warrant that
[00:00:20] was executed at the main election
[00:00:24] warehouse operations center in Fulton
[00:00:26] County, Georgia relating to the 2020
[00:00:28] election. What can you tell us, sir?
[00:00:31] >> Yeah, thanks so much for having me. As
[00:00:32] you know, I really don't do these types
[00:00:34] of appearances, but I wanted to address
[00:00:37] it because it's such of great public
[00:00:38] importance. And let me just set the
[00:00:40] backdrop. President Trump under his
[00:00:42] leadership and under the Department of
[00:00:44] Justice and the Attorney General have
[00:00:46] made it a priority to reduce crime and
[00:00:48] safeguard American citizenry. That's why
[00:00:50] this FBI along with our partners were
[00:00:52] able to reduce produce a reduction in
[00:00:55] the murder rate by 20 percentage points
[00:00:57] from coast to coast. That is an all-time
[00:00:59] record for the modern era. This FBI has
[00:01:01] arrested 67,000 people in the last year.
[00:01:04] That's a 210% increase from the year
[00:01:07] before. And we're seizing fentinol at
[00:01:09] record levels, enough to kill 150
[00:01:11] million Americans, 35% more espionage
[00:01:13] arrests. The reason I go through these
[00:01:15] statistics is because within these
[00:01:16] statistics are lives saved in
[00:01:18] communities safeguarded by President
[00:01:20] Trump's brilliant leadership and our
[00:01:22] great partners at the Department of
[00:01:23] Justice um under Attorney General Pam
[00:01:25] Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd
[00:01:27] Blanch. And the reason I bring these
[00:01:29] things out and we captured six top 10 of
[00:01:31] the FBI's most wanted in one year,
[00:01:33] including Ryan Wedding and another
[00:01:34] individual in Mexico just last week
[00:01:36] where I was. And the reason I go through
[00:01:38] this is because we, thanks to President
[00:01:40] Trump, are a law enforcement
[00:01:43] um uh police force for the United States
[00:01:46] government and we take these cases
[00:01:48] seriously and we go into court and we
[00:01:50] present the facts and we work the legal
[00:01:53] process. And that's what you saw
[00:01:54] yesterday. It was a DOJ and FBI effort
[00:01:58] to present after an extended period of
[00:02:00] time of investigations because as you
[00:02:03] know any of these cases, the ones I just
[00:02:05] talked about um in general or this one
[00:02:07] specifically take time to develop. We
[00:02:09] have to go out and conduct
[00:02:10] investigations, interrogations,
[00:02:12] interviews, collect information, data,
[00:02:15] and synthesize them with our brilliant
[00:02:16] partners at DOJ to present. And that's
[00:02:18] what I want to highlight. The FBI and
[00:02:19] DOJ presented this information to a
[00:02:22] judge in Georgia where they determined
[00:02:25] the judge that there was a finding for
[00:02:26] probable cause following the
[00:02:28] constitutional precepts that are
[00:02:30] necessary to safeguard an investigation
[00:02:32] just like any other we do. And what we
[00:02:34] did yesterday was we presented our facts
[00:02:37] and the findings of the investigation
[00:02:38] and the judge determined there was
[00:02:39] probable cause. And then you saw the
[00:02:41] results. We went and executed a search
[00:02:43] warrant and collected the information
[00:02:45] pursuant to that search warrant to
[00:02:48] continue our investigation. And that's
[00:02:50] what I want to harp on to your audience
[00:02:52] and the American people. These things
[00:02:54] take time. And it's not one of those
[00:02:56] matters where I'm saying trust us. I'm
[00:02:58] saying look at the last year under
[00:03:00] President Trump's leadership what this
[00:03:01] DOJ and FBI has done. Record levels of
[00:03:04] safety across America. And we are going
[00:03:07] after the worst of the worst including
[00:03:08] child predators and and our arrest on
[00:03:10] child predators and disrupting child
[00:03:12] predator networks are up anywhere from
[00:03:13] 50 to 500% depending on the category. So
[00:03:16] we're taking the same mindset to every
[00:03:18] kind of investigation. And that's what
[00:03:20] you saw unfold yesterday. The leadership
[00:03:22] of the DOJ and FBI on the ground going
[00:03:25] and presenting facts to a neutral and
[00:03:27] detached arbiter of justice, the judge
[00:03:30] who authorized a search warrant and we
[00:03:32] collected more information. So, uh,
[00:03:35] Director Patel, I, you know, there was
[00:03:37] multiple truckloads of materials,
[00:03:39] including boxes of ballots, physical
[00:03:41] ballots from 2020, uh, ballot images,
[00:03:44] 2020 voter roles, uh, tabulators,
[00:03:47] potentially tapes. What was the
[00:03:50] predicate for this? What What can you
[00:03:52] tell us? Uh, and you say it takes a lot
[00:03:55] of time to build this case. Is there any
[00:03:56] other granularity or details you can
[00:03:58] share with the audience?
[00:04:01] What we do is to safeguard the integrity
[00:04:03] of this investigation or any
[00:04:05] investigation is apply for the search
[00:04:07] warrant. And then what we do is we speak
[00:04:09] through our public papers in court. And
[00:04:11] what we will do next over the course of
[00:04:14] time with the Department of Justice is
[00:04:16] move to have the search warrant unsealed
[00:04:18] so that the American public can read
[00:04:20] whatever material um that we put in
[00:04:23] there. Right now that of course remains
[00:04:25] under seal so I can't discuss it. And
[00:04:27] also I want to highlight that we don't
[00:04:29] want to jeopardize any in any any piece
[00:04:31] of this investigation by releasing
[00:04:33] information not just prematurely but we
[00:04:35] as officers of the court our US
[00:04:36] attorneys and our FBI agents are
[00:04:39] responsible and committed under the law
[00:04:41] to abide by the parameters of the search
[00:04:43] warrant and that's the rubric we're
[00:04:44] operating under right now. So I think
[00:04:46] you'll see again given the last year
[00:04:48] that we've had under President Trump
[00:04:50] that we divulge information. We produce
[00:04:53] information to Congress and the public
[00:04:54] at record levels and we're going to
[00:04:56] continue to do that but we're not going
[00:04:57] to jeopardize the investigation.
[00:04:59] Yesterday was a big public facing step
[00:05:01] and you're right. You saw trucks, you
[00:05:03] saw material being removed and what the
[00:05:05] FBI will do is now analyze that
[00:05:06] information and we will take the next
[00:05:08] investigatory steps with our Department
[00:05:10] of Justice partners. the FBI and DOJ
[00:05:12] will run this investigation um as we
[00:05:14] have every other investigation that has
[00:05:16] resulted in these record achievements
[00:05:17] for the president and under the
[00:05:19] president's leadership for America.
[00:05:22] >> What can you tell us about the timeline
[00:05:25] um that we obviously understand I hear
[00:05:28] you're harping on it. These things take
[00:05:30] time to develop. Is there any
[00:05:32] expectations about when we might get the
[00:05:34] next update on this case? Because this
[00:05:36] has generated a ton of interest and
[00:05:39] intrigue as you as I'm sure you're
[00:05:40] aware. What's next? When can we what can
[00:05:43] we expect next?
[00:05:45] >> And that and that's just it. You know, I
[00:05:47] can't predict where an investigation is
[00:05:49] going to go. What we do best with our
[00:05:52] our our lawyers and our agents is gather
[00:05:55] the evidence, which we just did, which
[00:05:57] takes a monumental step to do so. And
[00:06:00] then we have to we have to look at it
[00:06:01] and see, okay, now what do we got? Do we
[00:06:04] need more search warrants? Do we need um
[00:06:06] to talk to more witnesses? Do we need to
[00:06:09] examine any other locations or pieces of
[00:06:11] evidence? And so that's going to unfold
[00:06:13] as we go through the evidence. But as
[00:06:14] you highlighted, it takes a minute to go
[00:06:17] through truckloads of evidence. And
[00:06:18] that's the next step. Once we go through
[00:06:21] that and we discuss the matter with
[00:06:23] Department of Justice and FBI personnel,
[00:06:25] then we'll make any next public facing
[00:06:27] steps were permitted um without
[00:06:30] jeopardizing the investigation. So, I
[00:06:32] just wanted to address that to say this
[00:06:34] has been a wellthoughtout, methodical uh
[00:06:37] predicated investigation and and and
[00:06:40] that's what we do here and that's what
[00:06:42] the president wants us to do. Follow the
[00:06:44] facts and the law and that's all we're
[00:06:46] doing here at DOJ and FBI. And you know,
[00:06:48] we're just we're just thankful that we
[00:06:49] have a great attorney general and deputy
[00:06:51] attorney general um and great FBI
[00:06:53] personnel who dedicated themselves not
[00:06:55] just to this mission, but to the entire
[00:06:57] mission of keeping America safe. And
[00:06:59] that's what we're going to do. We're not
[00:07:00] going to change it for any any type of
[00:07:02] investigation. The results speak for
[00:07:05] themselves. And the results after one
[00:07:07] year will hopefully give the American
[00:07:08] public confidence that we will handle
[00:07:10] this investigation no differently than
[00:07:11] any other. Uh, Director Patel, the uh,
[00:07:15] the Fulton County chairman has been
[00:07:16] complaining that he says the ballots are
[00:07:19] no longer safe and secure because the
[00:07:21] FBI has them, that they've lost uh, I
[00:07:25] What do you have to say to that?
[00:07:28] >> The FBI is the world's premier law
[00:07:30] enforcement agency. We collect evidence
[00:07:32] from around the country and all over the
[00:07:33] world. We have facilities that store
[00:07:35] evidence. We have facilities that
[00:07:37] maintain the chain of custody. And for
[00:07:39] anybody to hint that this FBI or this
[00:07:41] Department of Justice is mishandling
[00:07:43] evidence is just flatout political
[00:07:45] buffoonery. We will maintain the chain
[00:07:48] of custody. We will secure it like we
[00:07:50] always do and we will make sure that we
[00:07:52] can use it to further any investigation
[00:07:55] and most importantly we will make sure
[00:07:56] that it is maintained um under the
[00:07:59] rigors of the law so that we can use it
[00:08:01] um in any future court proceedings that
[00:08:04] may rise out of any investigation. And
[00:08:07] that's kind of a last point there. Is
[00:08:09] there any concern? I was checking the
[00:08:11] statute of limitations on a lot of
[00:08:13] election fraud claims is 5 years which
[00:08:16] were basically
[00:08:17] >> right up against
[00:08:18] >> right up against is is there any concern
[00:08:20] about timeline on that or do they have
[00:08:22] they thought of ways they could extend
[00:08:23] that? Has that entered the calculus at
[00:08:25] all? you know, the calculus with the in
[00:08:29] terms of the statute is always for our
[00:08:30] our brilliant attorneys at DOJ uh who we
[00:08:33] work in conjunction with and we always
[00:08:35] abide by the statute of limitations and
[00:08:38] any constitutional parameters that we
[00:08:40] have. But we were able to effectuate
[00:08:42] this search warrant in a timely fashion
[00:08:45] um legally and had a judge find make a
[00:08:49] finding of probable cause. So we we did
[00:08:51] just that and that's where we are today.
[00:08:53] And look, especially for you and your
[00:08:55] audience who have been such great
[00:08:56] supporters of law enforcement, I wish I
[00:08:59] could tell you more. And hopefully the
[00:09:01] audience takes away the fact that after
[00:09:03] one year under President Trump, it's no
[00:09:06] longer trust us. It's look at what we've
[00:09:08] done and we're going to continue to do
[00:09:10] the same thing here.
[00:09:11] >> Well, uh, Director Patel, I know you got
[00:09:12] a dash. Um, and we just thank you for
[00:09:15] your time, but you guys have
[00:09:16] accomplished a lot with that top 10 most
[00:09:19] wanted list. You're making massive
[00:09:20] progress there. Murders are down, crime
[00:09:22] is down. Uh so uh we we appreciate you
[00:09:26] making the time. We will wait on baited
[00:09:28] breath for updates on this case as I as
[00:09:30] I know you know Director Patel just how
[00:09:32] much this means to the base and
[00:09:34] President Trump's supporters. Thank you
[00:09:35] again for your time.
[00:09:38] >> Thank you so much and thanks thank you
[00:09:39] and Erica and the entire Turning Point
[00:09:41] community. We really appreciate your
[00:09:42] support of law enforcement.
[00:09:44] >> Thank you. God bless you.
