[00:11:41] Hello.
[00:11:42] >> Hi. Sorry. Would you care for another
[00:11:43] interview? I'm with Associated Press.
[00:11:45] >> Hi. How are you?
[00:11:45] >> I said you brought the sign.
[00:11:48] >> So, I figured
[00:11:49] >> you have an interest.
[00:11:50] >> Oh, yeah. So, I Yeah, my friend gave me
[00:11:52] these signs and I made this sign last
[00:11:54] night. So,
[00:11:55] >> do you mind if I ask you a few questions
[00:11:56] about kind of why you decided to come
[00:11:58] today?
[00:11:59] >> Sure. I'm just not willing to get
[00:12:00] political in terms of policy, sir.
[00:12:03] >> Yeah. Okay. But sure, I can tell you
[00:12:04] about my passions. Absolutely.
[00:12:06] [Music]
[00:12:10] Yeah, I like I said,
[00:12:22] >> okay, I'm just going to connect this to
[00:12:23] the topic, Jackie.
[00:12:30] >> Just ignore the camera. Just look at me.
[00:12:31] >> Sure.
[00:12:32] >> Um, yeah. First of all, why'd you decide
[00:12:33] to come out today? how you feel, what
[00:12:36] are you seeing?
[00:12:37] >> Yeah. So, I'm extremely grateful to be
[00:12:39] an American. I'm a lifelong Alaskan and
[00:12:42] I love my state. I love my country. Uh I
[00:12:45] always think it's a great opportunity
[00:12:46] when colleagues and myself and other
[00:12:48] patriots all across the state of Alaska
[00:12:50] get to come together and to support our
[00:12:52] president and to issues that are
[00:12:53] important to us.
[00:12:55] >> Do you have any thoughts about the
[00:12:56] summit today and kind of have any hopes
[00:12:58] or like what you want them to achieve?
[00:13:02] Yeah, I I'm really looking for good
[00:13:04] dialogue amongst both presidents. I'm
[00:13:06] looking for a conversation that ends in
[00:13:09] peace and prosperity for all nations,
[00:13:11] right? I think President Trump has been
[00:13:13] a really amazing world leader in terms
[00:13:15] of getting peace among the world. And
[00:13:17] that's what I think all Americans are
[00:13:18] looking for regardless if you're a
[00:13:20] Republican or Democrat.
[00:13:21] >> What did you feel uh when you first
[00:13:23] heard that that summit would be
[00:13:24] happening here in Anchorage in your
[00:13:26] city? Well, as a lifelong Alaskan,
[00:13:28] whenever there's an opportunity for a
[00:13:30] world leader to come to your state,
[00:13:31] you're extremely grateful and excited,
[00:13:33] no matter who it is. The fact that it's
[00:13:35] President Donald J. Trump, who I cast my
[00:13:37] vote for both times, I'm extremely
[00:13:38] excited that he's here.
[00:13:40] >> Very cool. Thank you so much. Can I have
[00:13:41] your name?
[00:13:42] >> Yep. Porsche Ericson.
[00:13:43] >> Can you spell it?
[00:13:44] >> P O R T I A E R I C K S O N.
[00:13:48] >> Okay. You're local.
[00:13:49] >> Yeah. Lifelong Alaskan.
[00:13:50] >> Can I have your age? Sorry. We usually
[00:13:52] ask that
[00:13:52] >> 35. Sorry.
[00:13:54] >> 35.
[00:13:54] >> 35. Okay. Great. Thank you so much.
[00:13:56] Have a good day.
[00:13:57] >> I hope that your time in Alaska goes
[00:13:59] well.
[00:13:59] >> It's going really well. I'm really
[00:14:01] enjoying it.
[00:14:01] >> And some fun activities maybe.
[00:14:03] >> Yeah, hopefully after
[00:14:04] >> to go to up north or further south.
[00:14:07] >> Yeah, hopefully this weekend.
[00:14:20] [Applause]
[00:14:24] You made it.

[00:17:48] our
[00:18:08] determination on whether or not

[00:19:03] Thank you very much. Thank you.
[00:19:05] >> Thank you, President. Thank you, press.
[00:19:06] Thank you, President.
[00:19:07] >> Mr. Putin, will you agree to a
[00:19:09] ceasefire?
[00:19:10] >> Mr. Putin, will you commit to not
[00:19:12] killing any more civilians?
[00:19:15] [Music]
[00:19:16] >> Come on, guys.
[00:19:18] >> Mr. President,
[00:19:19] >> thank you.
[00:19:20] >> President Putin, why should President
[00:19:22] Trump trust your word now?
[00:19:25] Thank you. Thank you press.
[00:19:28] [Music]
[00:19:34] >> Everybody get up.
[00:20:03] [Applause]

[00:20:45] [Applause]
[00:20:46] [Music]
[00:20:50] for
[00:20:50] Right here. Right here.
[00:21:03] [Music]
[00:21:24] [Music]
[00:21:30] Mystery in the making.
[00:21:36] While I love my country, I love
[00:21:41] even people have different talents than
[00:21:42] me. I love the fact that
[00:21:46] I'm not always
[00:21:59] [Music]
[00:22:09] [Music]
[00:22:14] North America.
[00:22:16] [Music]
[00:23:20] Um,
[00:23:23] >> we're good.
[00:23:30] [Music]
[00:23:31] [Applause]
[00:23:37] [Music]
[00:23:39] [Applause]
[00:23:44] I love all that.
[00:25:04] Mr. President, ladies and gentlemen,
[00:25:09] Side by
[00:26:29] Yeah.
[00:26:39] for
[00:27:38] for
[00:28:03] speech.
[00:28:15] Fore
[00:28:45] President Trump.
[00:28:52] [Music]
[00:29:12] Ukraine
[00:29:19] conflict.
[00:30:10] We balance
[00:30:39] constructive Fore
[00:30:49] progress.
[00:31:35] Foreignech.
[00:32:47] administr
[00:33:10] President
[00:33:30] [Music]
[00:33:43] Well, thank you very much, Mr.
[00:33:45] President. That was very profound. And I
[00:33:49] will say that I believe we had a very
[00:33:51] productive meeting. There were many,
[00:33:53] many points that we agreed on, most of
[00:33:56] them, I would say, a couple of big ones
[00:33:58] that we haven't quite gotten there, but
[00:34:01] we've made some headway.
[00:34:03] So, uh, there's no deal until there's a
[00:34:05] deal. I will call up NATO in a little
[00:34:09] while. I will call up, uh, the various
[00:34:12] people that I think are appropriate and
[00:34:14] I'll, of course, call up President
[00:34:15] Zalinsky and tell him about today's
[00:34:17] meeting. It's ult ultimately up to them.
[00:34:20] They're going to have to agree with what
[00:34:22] Marco and Steve and some of the great
[00:34:26] people from the Trump administration who
[00:34:28] have come here. Scott and John
[00:34:31] Radcliffe, thank you very much. But we
[00:34:33] have uh some of our really great
[00:34:36] leaders. They've been doing a phenomenal
[00:34:37] job. We also have some tremendous
[00:34:40] Russian uh business representatives
[00:34:43] here. And I think you know everybody
[00:34:45] wants to deal with us. we become the
[00:34:46] hottest country anywhere in the world in
[00:34:48] a very short period of time. And uh we
[00:34:51] look forward to that. We look forward to
[00:34:53] dealing we're going to try and get this
[00:34:55] over with. We we really made some uh
[00:34:58] great progress today. I've always had a
[00:35:01] fantastic relationship with President
[00:35:04] Putin with Vladimir. We had uh many many
[00:35:09] uh tough meetings, good meetings. we
[00:35:12] were uh interfered with by the Russia
[00:35:15] Russia Russia hoax that made it a little
[00:35:17] bit tougher to deal with, but he
[00:35:18] understood it. Uh I think he's probably
[00:35:21] seen things like that during the course
[00:35:23] of his career. He's seen he's seen it
[00:35:26] all, but we had to put up with the
[00:35:28] Russia Russia Russia hoax. He knew it
[00:35:30] was a hoax and I knew it was a hoax, but
[00:35:32] what was done was very criminal. But it
[00:35:34] made it harder for us to deal as a
[00:35:36] country in terms of the business and all
[00:35:38] of the things that we'd like to have
[00:35:39] dealt with. But uh we'll have a a good
[00:35:42] chance when this is over. So just to put
[00:35:45] it very quickly, I'm going to start
[00:35:47] making a few phone calls and tell them
[00:35:49] what happened. But we had an extremely
[00:35:52] productive meeting and many points were
[00:35:54] agreed to. There are just a very few
[00:35:58] that are left. Some are not that
[00:36:01] significant. One is probably the most
[00:36:03] significant, but we have a very good
[00:36:05] chance of getting there. We didn't get
[00:36:07] there, but we have a very good chance of
[00:36:08] getting there. I would like to thank uh
[00:36:11] President Putin and his entire team
[00:36:13] whose faces who I know in many cases
[00:36:15] otherwise other than that whose whose
[00:36:18] faces I get to see all the time in the
[00:36:20] newspapers. You're very you're almost as
[00:36:22] famous as the boss. But uh especially
[00:36:26] this one right over here. But we had
[00:36:29] some good meetings over the years,
[00:36:30] right? Good productive meetings over the
[00:36:32] years. And we hope to have that in the
[00:36:34] future. But let's do the most productive
[00:36:35] one right now. We're going to stop
[00:36:38] really five, six, 7,000 thousands of
[00:36:41] people a week from being killed. And
[00:36:42] President Putin wants to see that as
[00:36:44] much as I do. So, uh, again, Mr.
[00:36:47] President, I'd like to thank you very
[00:36:49] much. And we'll speak to you very soon
[00:36:50] and probably see you again very soon.
[00:36:53] Thank you very much, Vladimir.
[00:36:55] >> Next time in Moscow.
[00:36:58] >> Oh, that's an interesting one. I don't
[00:36:59] know. I'll get a little heat on that
[00:37:01] one, but I uh I could see it possibly
[00:37:04] happening. Thank you very much,
[00:37:05] Vladimir. And thank you all. Thank you.
[00:37:08] Thank you.
[00:37:08] >> Thank you so much.
[00:37:17] [Music]
[00:37:19] What still needs to be done,
[00:37:22] >> Mr. President? What still needs to be
[00:37:24] done? ceasefire, sir.
[00:38:00] the gym at UAA.
[00:38:11] >> Not the doors. They're in the gym.
[00:38:14] They're
[00:38:18] in way.
[00:38:47] They really cracked down.
[00:38:52] >> We got a new couple months ago
[00:38:58] and
[00:38:59] his first couple weeks here
[00:39:03] exercise.
[00:39:14] [Music]
[00:39:17] Maybe
[00:39:19] [Music]
[00:39:21] >> supposedly this was just
[00:39:37] >> Yeah, you were They're
[00:39:43] [Music]
[00:39:49] like, "Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of
[00:39:55] my mother."
[00:40:04] >> Look at these two
[00:40:06] Her
[00:40:18] name is
[00:40:22] >> Her name is
[00:40:34] >> I thought this eye
[00:40:41] We're squinting.
[00:40:44] [Laughter]
[00:41:09] Yeah, it was too loud.
[00:41:17] [Music]
[00:41:30] Workship.
[00:41:50] What do you
[00:42:06] Hey.
[00:42:06] >> Hey.
[00:42:08] >> Hey, I'll start setting up to let you
[00:42:09] go.
[00:42:10] >> Yeah.
[00:42:13] >> Yeah. How is everything? Not many.
[00:42:28] But this is great.
[00:42:29] >> Yeah. Nice clear.
[00:42:58] Oh, yeah.
[00:42:59] >> For like uh
[00:43:00] >> just in case.
[00:43:02] >> Yeah.
[00:43:07] >> Oh, yeah. I was there yesterday scoping
[00:43:09] it out. Seemed like uh because then you
[00:43:12] have the there's no anything obstacles.
[00:43:43] Okay.
[00:44:07] So I see you had Reuters over there
[00:44:12] >> just behind the cards. Oh, I didn't see.
[00:44:32] >> Yeah, probably because they watch it
[00:44:33] rel.
[00:44:41] >> So, yeah, it sounds like Not much of
[00:44:43] substance right now.
[00:44:45] >> Well, I mean, who knows?
[00:44:47] >> Yeah. Behind the scenes. Find out later.
[00:44:57] >> How do you like the camera?
[00:44:58] >> Uh, it's okay.
[00:44:59] >> Yeah,
[00:45:00] >> I like it.
[00:45:01] >> What What What do you shoot with you?
[00:45:06] like a
[00:45:11] >> little bit.
[00:45:18] >> So they re-qualified you as a as a VJ or
[00:45:21] all formats, I guess, right?
[00:45:24] >> I mean, seemed like you got the tags
[00:45:25] down.
[00:45:27] >> Got
[00:45:28] >> the tags down. You I don't know. you're
[00:45:30] sending all these. I don't even know
[00:45:32] like all those publishable.
[00:45:35] >> Yeah. So, I think I'm technically
[00:45:49] >> Well, you look, right? Yeah, I do video.
[00:46:05] What did you see?
[00:46:38] Not yet.
[00:46:49] >> See, it is. It is closer, right? Like
[00:46:53] quite a bit. No. Yeah, we've we we even
[00:46:56] tested I remember we had some Trump
[00:46:58] thing and I even gave my camera to
[00:47:00] whoever was doing
