We could likely hear more from the [00:00:05] White House about what they're hearing [00:00:07] from Democrats. Here's one of them, John [00:00:09] Federman, vowing to put the country [00:00:10] first over party on Hannity last night. [00:00:12] Listen, [00:00:14] >> I'm always going to vote country over my [00:00:17] party. And if if I pay a price within my [00:00:20] base, you know, I that that's that's [00:00:23] something I'm willing to do. I'm not [00:00:24] afraid to tell tell my truth. and and if [00:00:27] I'm going to pay a penalty, uh uh I'm [00:00:30] not afraid of that. Um it's wrong to [00:00:33] shut our government down. [00:00:36] >> Okay. So, I don't know what that tells [00:00:37] you, Senator, but you tell us. [00:00:40] >> Well, it tells me we need more Democrats [00:00:42] like that. I mean, let's tell the truth. [00:00:44] And the truth is more and more Americans [00:00:46] are suffering because of the fact the [00:00:48] government shut down and the Democrats [00:00:49] won't even come to the table to [00:00:50] negotiate. At this point, I have no clue [00:00:52] what it is they want. I mean, they won't [00:00:54] negotiate at all. One day they say they [00:00:56] want healthc care for illegals. Another [00:00:58] day they say they don't want to fund [00:00:59] ICE. I mean, what in the world is it? [00:01:01] Meanwhile, veterans now go to the VA. [00:01:03] They can't get the care that they [00:01:04] deserve. Our farmers can't get the loans [00:01:07] and other programs they have paid for. A [00:01:09] bunch of people in my state, millions [00:01:11] nationwide, are about to miss food [00:01:13] stamps. These are needy folks who need [00:01:15] some help with groceries. They're not [00:01:16] going to be able to get it. Why? Because [00:01:18] the Democrats continue this temper [00:01:19] tantrum, which as you point out is now [00:01:22] going into its fourth week. That is four [00:01:24] weeks too long.
