[00:00:00] The vote is still open but looks
[00:00:02] destined to fail. Your reaction?
[00:00:05] >> My reaction is is that this is sad. I
[00:00:07] mean, think about this now. We're asking
[00:00:09] our military servicemen and women who
[00:00:10] wear the uniform of this country, who
[00:00:12] are on active duty. We're asking them to
[00:00:14] go out and perform that duty, keep us
[00:00:15] safe, but the Democrats are saying,
[00:00:17] "We're not going to pay you." Our cops,
[00:00:19] Capitol Hill police, other federal law
[00:00:21] enforcement, FBI, Border Patrol, not
[00:00:24] going to get paid. Our veterans not
[00:00:26] going to get care. I mean, I I don't
[00:00:27] understand it. I don't understand what
[00:00:29] they're doing. I don't understand why
[00:00:30] you would want people to suffer because
[00:00:32] of your political predelections. I mean,
[00:00:35] you don't like the president. They don't
[00:00:36] like the president. Fine. I get it. Get
[00:00:38] over it. He won the election. Stop
[00:00:40] punishing the American people for it. We
[00:00:43] need more people like John Federman.
[00:00:44] More people who put country over party
[00:00:46] and are willing to say, "Hey, I'm going
[00:00:47] to be an adult here. I'm going to stop
[00:00:49] punishing the American people. Let's
[00:00:51] come to the table, get the government
[00:00:52] reopened, and get this done. This is
[00:00:54] absurd.
