[00:00:00] Do you follow Nick Fuentes at all? [00:00:01] >> Yeah, Nick Fuentes is extremely [00:00:03] entertaining to watch. He's actually [00:00:04] like a comedian when he talks. [00:00:06] >> What is it about you guys that Gen Z is [00:00:09] just going nuts over? Do you follow Nick [00:00:11] Fuentes at all? [00:00:12] >> Yeah, [clears throat] he just he just [00:00:14] posted this. Fentes posted [00:00:18] all of the complaining about Somalians [00:00:20] will result in nothing. No mass arrests, [00:00:23] no mass deportations, nothing [00:00:26] transformative. We all know that. What [00:00:28] do you think about what he's saying [00:00:29] there? [00:00:30] >> I think you're seeing the government, [00:00:31] they've never done anything. They [00:00:33] they've never launched a full [00:00:34] investigation, multiple investigations [00:00:36] within just a few hours of a video being [00:00:38] released. So, right now, yeah, the Trump [00:00:40] administration has a lot of things on [00:00:42] their hands right now. They have [00:00:43] Venezuela, they had the whole entire [00:00:45] Epstein [00:00:47] screw up. That looked really bad. And [00:00:50] you're having mass deportations and [00:00:53] people, they might not be deporting as [00:00:55] many people as people would like. I just [00:00:57] drew him the biggest layup ever. If they [00:01:00] really want to go in and get everyone [00:01:02] back on board, this is a great [00:01:04] opportunity for him. So, they better go [00:01:06] and do it. [00:01:08] >> I hope they do. I hope they do. You're [00:01:11] 23 and you've watched how fast your own [00:01:13] reporting could move online. Why is [00:01:15] Flintes able to gain traction with young [00:01:17] audiences? And what does that tell you [00:01:19] about how Gen Z decides who to trust [00:01:22] now? [00:01:22] >> Yeah, Nick Fentes, he's extremely [00:01:24] entertaining to watch. [00:01:26] He's actually like a comedian when he [00:01:28] talks. He's pretty funny. And you can't [00:01:32] say he's not. If he wasn't, millions of [00:01:35] people wouldn't be watching him. Now, do [00:01:36] you agree with everything he says? No. [00:01:38] Do you agree with everything Dave [00:01:40] Chappelle says? No. Is there some truth [00:01:43] that Nick Fentes is saying? Yes. [00:01:46] What about you? [00:01:48] >> I'm saying that millions and millions of [00:01:50] people. I think the question is, you [00:01:52] know, what is what is it about you guys [00:01:55] that Gen Z is just going nuts over? [00:01:58] >> Yeah. [00:01:58] >> It's this raw real. [00:02:02] >> Well, [00:02:02] >> for you in the weeds, it's just [00:02:05] that nobody's doing anymore. [00:02:07] >> Yeah. And go growing up, you were very [00:02:12] It's hard to go out and say what you [00:02:14] want cuz you're worried about people [00:02:15] coming after you. And so when you have [00:02:17] people like Nick Funus who are just [00:02:18] saying things as they as he wants to say [00:02:21] them, people are going to get attached [00:02:22] to that. And if for me, if I'm going out [00:02:24] and showing people things for their what [00:02:26] what they really are and I'm not [00:02:27] censoring people out of the [00:02:29] conversation, people are going to like [00:02:30] that cuz they want that realness cuz [00:02:32] they want to feel represented. [00:02:34] They don't want to feel like they're [00:02:36] having one conversation with their [00:02:37] friend in the car and then they have to [00:02:39] go out the dinner table and have a [00:02:40] different conversation. Do you think do [00:02:42] you think I'm curious to hear do you [00:02:45] think Gen Z is as tribalized as the [00:02:47] older generations or is Gen Z solely [00:02:51] interested in just the truth? They're [00:02:53] just so tired of all the from [00:02:56] both sides. They're just interested in [00:02:58] in actual factual information. Not [00:03:02] opinion pieces, not any of that. Just [00:03:06] facts and people with the courage to to [00:03:09] put it out there. I would say once they [00:03:12] graduate high school and they realize [00:03:13] how hard real life really is to make [00:03:16] real money and to be able to get into a [00:03:17] house and to be able to provide for [00:03:19] yourself. Yes. Like they just want the [00:03:22] truth cut and dry. That's why you that's [00:03:25] why you see some of so many of them kind [00:03:28] of either feeling very defeated or [00:03:30] people are actually rising up to the [00:03:32] battle that we're facing because a lot [00:03:34] of these kids are starting their life [00:03:36] behind the starting line. They go to [00:03:38] college, the bank will give them a [00:03:40] $100,000 loan. They start their life off [00:03:43] $100,000 in debt. [00:03:45] >> And so a lot of people are wondering, [00:03:47] well, why actually are we doing that? [00:03:49] And that's why uh whether it be Nick [00:03:51] Quentes or whether it be Charlie Kirk, [00:03:53] we're all kind of trying to share the [00:03:55] same message at the end of the day that [00:03:57] go chase the American dream because [00:03:59] you're capable of doing it. Question [00:04:02] yourself. Question the people you listen [00:04:04] to. Like Nick, we all serve our own [00:04:06] roles. in this atmosphere of uh politics [00:04:10] or just commentary. [00:04:12] Your role is different than my role. [00:04:13] Nick Fente's roles is different than me [00:04:15] and yours. My role is to show people [00:04:17] what's happening from the ground. The [00:04:20] news is to try and show people whatever [00:04:23] they're trying to do. And then you have [00:04:25] people like Charlie Kirk who's going to [00:04:26] talk to the kids to colleges. You have [00:04:28] people like Tucker Carlson and Kenneth [00:04:30] Owens who are stirring up the pot. And [00:04:31] then you have uh people on CNN. I don't [00:04:34] even want to say their names because I [00:04:36] don't even want to give them credit, but [00:04:37] they're also stirring up the pot on that [00:04:39] side. And there needs to be a way where [00:04:40] we can all kind of come together in a [00:04:42] common ground. [00:04:43] >> And that's what Gen Z is kind of looking [00:04:45] for is just kind of to feel represented [00:04:47] in a way where they have some hope. [00:04:51] >> So, you're saying they want to see the [00:04:52] bickering stop and results start to [00:04:56] happen. [00:04:57] >> Yeah. I would say like we just want to [00:04:59] have the same opportunities that our [00:05:01] parents or grandparents had. [00:05:03] >> Mhm. Like a lot of kids aren't getting [00:05:05] married. [00:05:06] >> Myself included. I'm 23. I'm not in no [00:05:08] rush to get married. But the a lot of [00:05:12] people just feel like, "Wow, why would I [00:05:13] get married when I can't even get into a [00:05:15] house and I'll be suffering with my wife [00:05:17] and living in some junky apartment?" [00:05:20] >> That's what it is. Huh. [00:05:23] >> Yeah. It's like you see the Tik Toks of [00:05:26] I love the Tik Toks of like the old [00:05:28] America when you see just people out in [00:05:31] the street with their family and their [00:05:32] kids and the epic music, the American [00:05:35] flags. And then I hate when I see the [00:05:38] next the next scene is when you're [00:05:42] seeing just people strung out in [00:05:44] fentanyl in the street corners and [00:05:45] you're seeing people get in battles over [00:05:48] race and religion. It's just like that's [00:05:51] not what this is all about. [00:05:52] >> Yeah. [00:05:53] Yeah, [00:05:55] Nick, let's take a quick break. When we [00:05:58] come back, let's dive into some of the [00:05:59] other stuff you've uncovered. No matter [00:06:01] where you're watching Shawn Ryan Show [00:06:02] from, if you get anything out of this, [00:06:04] please like, comment, subscribe, and [00:06:07] most importantly, share this everywhere [00:06:10] you possibly can.
