So, I read that hideous [00:04:27] strength over Christmas. Now I'm reading [00:04:29] Paralandra. I want to recommend that to [00:04:31] everyone watching. It's a very [00:04:32] interesting book. Paralandra the plot is [00:04:35] it's before it's pre spaceflight sci-fi. [00:04:39] So we don't know anything about the [00:04:40] planet. So it takes place on Venus which [00:04:41] we could not actually visit it turns [00:04:43] out. But he has Venus as a habitable [00:04:45] planet and the main character basically [00:04:49] intervenes on the planet at the moment [00:04:51] where like each planet kind of has its [00:04:53] own creations by God. And so he arrives [00:04:56] on the planet and it's newer. It's a [00:04:58] younger planet than Earth. And so he [00:04:59] basically arrives in its version of the [00:05:01] Garden of Eden right when Satan shows up [00:05:04] to try to make its version of Eve fall. [00:05:07] And he has to like intervene it. It's [00:05:09] crazy book. And it's not long. It's [00:05:10] under 200 pages. So I'll tell everyone [00:05:12] to check that book out. And by [00:05:38] the way, as a Christian, I don't feel [00:05:40] like that challenges my faith at all [00:05:42] actually because God is the ultimate [00:05:43] creator. He's infinitely creative. And I [00:05:47] don't think that that would make us less [00:05:48] special. I think that's basically where [00:05:51] CS Lewis sort of ultimately lands.
