Senator Graham, always good to [00:00:07] see you. Uh, thank you very much for [00:00:09] joining us, sir. Um, what what would be [00:00:11] your rebuttal? What would you say about [00:00:13] what Hakeem Jeffrey said? And and where [00:00:15] do you think he's headed with all of [00:00:17] this? [00:00:18] >> I think we'll avoid a shutdown because [00:00:20] they're on the wrong side of the main [00:00:22] issue. If you ask the American people, [00:00:24] do you support sanctuary city policy? [00:00:27] 80% say no. What am I talking about? [00:00:30] There are 12 states, including New York, [00:00:32] that if you're an illegal immigrant, you [00:00:34] get to the city or the state, uh they'll [00:00:37] never turn you over to the federal [00:00:38] government. You're home free. Sanctuary [00:00:41] cities are magnets for future illegal [00:00:43] immigrant immigration. They entice [00:00:45] people to come here illegally. They're [00:00:47] full of fraud and they break down law [00:00:49] and order. I like, but if you're waiting [00:00:52] on Jeff to change sanctuary city policy, [00:00:56] you're going to die waiting. The liberal [00:00:58] left is wedded to this. What happened in [00:01:00] Minnesota is that Joe Biden over four [00:01:03] years allowed an illegal immigrant [00:01:06] invasion of our country. Only God knows [00:01:08] who's here. It's created chaos. There's [00:01:11] a housing shortage because these people [00:01:13] got to live somewhere. This is the [00:01:15] one-year anniversary of President Trump [00:01:18] signing the Lake and Riley Act. Do you [00:01:19] remember what that was all about? A [00:01:21] young lady in Georgia about 60 miles [00:01:24] from where I live in South Carolina was [00:01:26] murdered viciously by an illegal [00:01:28] immigrant that was in federal custody [00:01:31] under Biden. And they let him go because [00:01:33] they had no bed space. They let him go [00:01:36] even though he was dangerous because [00:01:38] they had no place to keep him because [00:01:40] they had sanctuary city policies. One [00:01:43] year ago today, we ended that. So this [00:01:46] is what this is about. No more lake and [00:01:47] rallies. Uh, President Trump and I are [00:01:50] never going to let that happen again. I [00:01:52] don't mind trying to make ICE better. I [00:01:55] don't mind having some reasonable [00:01:56] reforms and learning from the mistakes. [00:01:59] But here's what I'm telling my [00:02:00] Democratic friends. That's a band-aid. [00:02:02] The cancer is the sanctu sanctuary city [00:02:06] policy adopted by 12 states that creates [00:02:09] chaos for the rest of the 38. [00:02:12] >> So, here's some news. I just concluded a [00:02:14] deal with the White House to come up [00:02:16] with a sanctuary city bill that would [00:02:19] end sanctuary city policy forever. How? [00:02:23] I will make it a federal crime for a [00:02:25] state or local official to defy federal [00:02:28] law on immigration. So going forward, if [00:02:30] my bill passed, these mayors and these [00:02:33] governors who defy federal law that have [00:02:35] been on the books for 30 years could go [00:02:36] to jail. If you want to change sanctuary [00:02:39] city policy, you got to hold those [00:02:41] accountable who ignore federal law. So [00:02:44] to Hakee Jeff and all the liberals on [00:02:46] your side of the aisle, the American [00:02:48] people are with us. They want balance. [00:02:51] They don't want chaos in the streets, [00:02:53] but they want you to abandon policies [00:02:55] that make America less safe. They want [00:02:57] you to stop policies that entice future [00:03:00] illegal immigration. They want to stop [00:03:01] the ripoffs that come from these uh [00:03:04] sanctuary city states. And they want law [00:03:06] and order back. As to the ICE agents, [00:03:08] you have no first amendment right to [00:03:10] spit on a man or a woman. You have no [00:03:11] right to destroy their car. You have no [00:03:14] right to terrorize them while they're [00:03:15] trying to sleep. Uh ICE will be looked [00:03:18] at and they should be. But I want to say [00:03:20] this to those men and women on the [00:03:22] streets trying to protect us. God bless [00:03:24] you. We will have a hearing. We will [00:03:26] have a review about what happened. But [00:03:28] we're not going to let go back to the [00:03:31] old ways of doing business. Letting [00:03:33] people out of jail because you have no [00:03:35] jail uh space. Giving illegal immigrants [00:03:38] free passes that should never been here [00:03:40] to begin with. Telling sanctuary city [00:03:42] states and local local municipalities, [00:03:45] if you keep doing this in the future [00:03:47] under Donald Trump and Lindsey Graham, [00:03:48] you're going to jail. I want to vote on [00:03:51] the floor of the United States Senate [00:03:53] about my bill to end sanctuary city [00:03:55] policy forever. I'm willing to do [00:03:57] reforms on ICE. The question for Hakee [00:04:00] Jeff and Democrats, are you willing to [00:04:02] address the root cause of the problem, [00:04:04] sanctuary city policies that entice [00:04:06] chaos? [00:04:08] >> Well, we uh that would codify um the [00:04:11] Department of Justice is investigating [00:04:13] the leadership in Minneapolis, the mayor [00:04:15] in Minneapolis, Jacob Fry, and also the [00:04:17] governor Waltz. Uh and this would [00:04:19] cautify sort of stepping in between and [00:04:21] and Can I just add one thing? Sure. It [00:04:24] doesn't codify it. Makes it a crime. [00:04:26] Right now, it's not a crime for a mayor [00:04:28] or governor to defy federal law when it [00:04:31] comes to federal immigration. We can't [00:04:33] have 50 different immigration policies. [00:04:36] The federal government's in charge of [00:04:37] our national security and immigration [00:04:40] policy. You can't have 12 liberal states [00:04:42] choosing to ignore the law to to make [00:04:45] crazy people happy. My bill literally [00:04:47] would make it a crime. And until you do [00:04:49] that, nothing's going to change. So, I [00:04:51] want to vote on my bill. We we we look [00:04:53] forward to watching that as it [00:04:55] progresses. Um this is uh Ilan Omar, the [00:04:59] representative from Minnesota, and [00:05:01] Ayanna Presley of Massachusetts um [00:05:04] talking about what they looking what [00:05:05] they're looking for. Watch. [00:05:07] >> Voting no on DHS funding bill is the [00:05:10] bare bare minimum. Backing the [00:05:13] resolution to impeach Christine Nome is [00:05:16] the bare minimum. She is a dangerous [00:05:19] cocktail of authority, [00:05:22] bigotry, and incompetence, and she must [00:05:25] be impeached. WE NEED TO ABOLISH ICE and [00:05:29] dismantle the systems OF OPPRESSION THAT [00:05:31] HAVE GOTTEN us to this point. [00:05:33] >> President Trump says that he is standing [00:05:35] by Christine. What's your reaction to [00:05:37] that, sir? [00:05:39] >> Uh, these Congress uh people are really [00:05:41] crazy in in this regard. I'm sure [00:05:43] they're sincere. Do you really want to [00:05:45] abolish ICE and go back to open borders? [00:05:48] Was the four years of Biden really good [00:05:51] for America when it came to illegal [00:05:52] immigration? Do we want more lake and [00:05:54] rallies or do we want to bring sanity? [00:05:57] Tom Holdman is trying to dial down the [00:05:59] rhetoric and fix the problem. ICE can be [00:06:01] reformed, but what these congresswoman [00:06:03] are telling us, they don't give a damn [00:06:06] about sanctuary city policy. They don't [00:06:08] care if it entices future illegal [00:06:11] immigration. They don't care about the [00:06:12] fraud. They're more concerned about [00:06:14] preserving sanctuary city policy than [00:06:17] they are protecting America. And there [00:06:19] will be an election in 2026. If you [00:06:22] think sanctuary city policy hurts our [00:06:24] nation is quite frankly insane and you [00:06:27] want it changed, vote Republican. If you [00:06:29] want to keep it like it is, vote [00:06:30] Democrat. That's what this is all about. [00:06:32] Why would you shut DHS down? 35% is [00:06:36] FEMA. Why would you shut the Coast Guard [00:06:39] out? Again, we don't need to be shutting [00:06:41] the government down. I've never seen so [00:06:43] many threats to our homeland as I do [00:06:45] now. The problem with our Democratic [00:06:47] friends, they're so wedded to sanctuary [00:06:49] city policies, they literally will shut [00:06:51] your government down. That's crazy. [00:06:53] >> They they uh it looks like they think [00:06:55] it's good uh politics for them to uh go [00:06:58] down this road. We will see what [00:07:00] happens. [00:07:00] >> Not good politics. Not good politics for [00:07:02] Lake and Riley. No, I I was just going [00:07:04] to say I thank you for bringing up Blake [00:07:06] and Riley and the anniversary of that [00:07:08] because these families who lost their [00:07:10] loved ones to people who were here [00:07:12] illegally want to know where the [00:07:13] protests and the signs are for their [00:07:15] loved ones. Absolutely. [00:07:17] >> Absolutely. Where they were when they [00:07:19] what did they say when they were getting [00:07:21] murdered. And to our agents, everybody [00:07:23] can do better.
