[00:07:41] someone with whom you had so publicly

[00:07:44] past oh yeah we've had our ups and downs
[00:07:46] Trump and I um but you know it's
[00:07:48] complicated as I always say because I am
[00:07:51] not just a booster of his you know I am
[00:07:53] a journalist and so when he does stuff
[00:07:54] that I disagree with or that you know I
[00:07:56] I feel an obligation to critique I do it
[00:07:59] and for some reason I get under his skin
[00:08:01] you know he doesn't like it when I
[00:08:02] critique him um and that's fine I
[00:08:05] understand it that's part of my business
[00:08:06] so it's been you know Rocky at times
[00:08:09] including in the past year but net net

[00:09:42] who is more you know middle of the road
[00:09:43] in her politics I could speak to them I
[00:09:45] could I could speak their language to
[00:09:47] convince them as to why there is only
[00:09:50] one Clear Choice and it and it's him not
[00:09:52] her well I'm glad that you were able to

[00:21:14] don't believe that in 2016 Donald Trump
[00:21:16] did anything particularly spectacular I
[00:21:19] think that Hillary Clinton did something
[00:21:20] spectacular she failed spectacular being
[00:21:22] a terrible candidate that's right which
[00:21:24] is why he was as I've said before why he
[00:21:25] was able to win with fewer votes say in
[00:21:27] Wisconsin than Romney lost Wisconsin
[00:21:30] with right but what you cannot deny is
[00:21:34] someone then coming back and winning not
[00:21:37] only an overwhelming majority in the
[00:21:39] Electoral College but also winning the
[00:21:41] popular vote and what that tells you is
[00:21:42] that while what Trump did in 2016 may or
[00:21:45] may not have been spectacular what he
[00:21:47] did uh in in 2024 is a true feat of
[00:21:51] political indisputable only only the
[00:21:52] greatest politicians are able to
[00:21:54] accomplish what he just I shouldn't say
[00:21:56] he's a political genius he he has a
[00:21:57] genius that can look at something he's
[00:22:00] like a guy who can look at the rubic
[00:22:01] cube of life and solve it you know that
[00:22:04] he just he just does it you I've seen
[00:22:05] him do it again and again and you can
[00:22:07] see him shift almost when he's talking
[00:22:09] you can see him you read the field and
[00:22:11] all the stuff and he just figured it out
[00:22:13] and I think by the way I just want to
[00:22:14] add this throw this out there I think
[00:22:16] it's going to be a great presidency I
[00:22:18] think it's going to be the best second
[00:22:19] term we've ever seen because he is
[00:22:21] actually taken four years God has
[00:22:23] arranged it so he's taken four years to
[00:22:25] learn what he needed what he did wrong
[00:22:27] and what he's going to do there's
[00:22:28] another add there which is in 2020 if he
[00:22:31] had won he would have been settled to
[00:22:32] the Democratic Congress in 2024 he has
[00:22:36] an overwhelmingly the Republican Senate
[00:22:37] the Republicans are gonna take the house
[00:22:39] he's actually going to have a majority
[00:22:40] that he can work with and if you want
[00:22:41] more good news because you know I I bear
[00:22:44] glad I bring glad hidings close the the
[00:22:48] the Electoral College I I've mentioned
[00:22:50] this before they that they they screwed
[00:22:52] up the census in 2020 there actual extra
[00:22:53] votes in in the South that were not
[00:22:56] properly counted I am calling right now
[00:22:58] on the Congress of the United States
[00:22:59] president of the United States to pass
[00:23:01] legislation that allows for the recap
[00:23:05] the recapitulation of the census figures
[00:23:07] sufficient so that in the 2028 election
[00:23:09] those votes actually shift to the states
[00:23:11] where they belong because that's where
[00:23:13] those those votes belong people being
[00:23:14] disenfranchised right now in Florida
[00:23:16] people being disenfranchised right now
[00:23:17] in Texas because the count is not
[00:23:19] correct and then in 2030 there's going
[00:23:21] to be another census and if that census
[00:23:23] goes how people think that census is
[00:23:24] going to go 12 Electoral College votes
[00:23:26] are going to shift from blue states to
[00:23:29] deep red States not none of those are in
[00:23:31] the Rust Belt that is all the that's
[00:23:34] that's that's three to Florida that's
[00:23:35] four to Texas that's one to Arizona
[00:23:37] that's one to Idaho that that's that's I
[00:23:41] believe one to Georgia so Less in
[00:23:44] California coming five few in California
[00:23:47] three fewer in New York what do you
[00:23:48] think the Democrats are going to do try
[00:23:49] to do about that because there's no way
[00:23:51] they can just sit and allow that to
[00:23:52] happen so what what what's their move I
[00:23:55] mean I think they just lose frankly I
[00:23:57] mean I I don't their move was the open
[00:23:59] border right and I think I think that
[00:24:02] they do not here's here's the thing I I
[00:24:04] don't see what their next move is
[00:24:06] because the the the problem for them is
[00:24:08] that Donald Trump occupied the other
[00:24:10] half of the agenda right so if if their

[00:24:17] was the the sort of Bernie Sanders
[00:24:18] socialistic redistributionist stuff the

[00:24:24] about entitlements and where Bernie
[00:24:25] Sanders is on entitlements like the most
[00:24:26] the most robust arguments that abused
[00:24:28] been used against Republicans in my
[00:24:29] lifetime on the financial stuff where
[00:24:31] Paul Ryan's shoving granny off the cliff
[00:24:32] and all the rest of it you can't use
[00:24:34] that on Trump and you're not going to be
[00:24:35] able to use it on Vans because the
[00:24:36] Republican party has basically said all
[00:24:38] right you guys want to ride across the
[00:24:39] cliff like we can't stop you so I guess
[00:24:41] that's the way it's going to go and with
[00:24:43] that off the table that b by the way
[00:24:45] abortion is off the table too I'm point
[00:24:47] this out right now abortion is a live
[00:24:48] issue in this election it will not be a
[00:24:49] live issue in 2028 and the reason it
[00:24:51] will not be a live issue in 2028 is
[00:24:53] every state will have already picked the
[00:24:54] abortion regime that it actually wants
[00:24:57] and the Supreme Court will have already
[00:24:58] spoken by 2028 and said there cannot be
[00:25:00] widespread Federal legislation on
[00:25:02] abortion which means it will be
[00:25:04] relegated back to the States and by the
[00:25:06] way you saw some of this last night
[00:25:07] right so for example Missouri did pass a
[00:25:08] referendum that was a pro-abortion
[00:25:10] referendum in Missouri and Missouri went
[00:25:11] by 10 points to Donald Trump so people
[00:25:14] are already shifting away from thinking
[00:25:16] of their congressperson senators and
[00:25:17] presidents as people with a fundamental
[00:25:19] task on abortion they're thinking of
[00:25:20] their Governors and their state
[00:25:21] legislatures as the people to
[00:25:23] fundamental task on abortion so you take
[00:25:24] abortion away from the Democrats on the
[00:25:25] federal level you take entitlements away
[00:25:27] from Democrats on the federal level what
[00:25:28] precisely do they have higher taxes and
[00:25:30] weak foreign policy and an open border
[00:25:33] what what's the agenda those are like
[00:25:34] the three least popular items I don't
[00:25:36] understand what you're missing about Joy
[00:25:38] brat and
[00:25:41] Vibes you know another thing if if Trump
[00:25:43] had won in 2020 he still would have had
[00:25:45] Co and they still would have had Co to

[00:26:16] Donald Trump deserves a lot of blame for
[00:26:18] what happened in 2020 you know covid

[00:26:24] weaponized against Donald Trump by not
[00:26:26] just the domestic left but I think even
[00:26:28] the global left but also the worst
[00:26:31] aspects of Donald Trump's presidency
[00:26:32] were his handling of Co and in a way God
[00:26:35] spared him from having to be the one who
[00:26:37] paid the immediate price for those
[00:26:39] policies that he allowed it happen I
[00:26:40] mean he surrendered the country for to
[00:26:42] Anthony fouchy for months and months and
[00:26:43] months you know I although although
[00:26:45] you're you're right I I think you're too
[00:26:48] hard on him since every other Western
[00:26:50] leader did the same thing

[01:06:15] unfortunately she was then dragged
[01:06:17] screaming back to the center of the
[01:06:18] uncanny valley for the finale of the
[01:06:20] speech where she talked about how there
[01:06:21] would be a billion points of light not
[01:06:23] just a thousand a billion yay may may
[01:06:26] perhaps a trillion perhaps a trillion
[01:06:27] trillion so many points of light because
[01:06:29] you know when it gets real dark you can
[01:06:31] see the stars outside and that means
[01:06:33] that now that it's really dark you can
[01:06:35] be a star too just like JLo or something
[01:06:38] here's the thing about KLA Harris she
[01:06:39] was a big nothing Burger her candidacy
[01:06:41] was a big nothing Burger she has always
[01:06:43] been a big nothing burger and that
[01:06:44] little concession speech was also a big
[01:06:46] nothing Burger so there are a few things
[01:06:47] she could have said that would have been
[01:06:48] useful like for example you remember
[01:06:50] that time I said to my opponent's Hitler
[01:06:52] yeah you're gonna be fine she said
[01:06:54] you're going to be fine but it's very
[01:06:55] hard to square that with my opponent is
[01:06:57] Hitler and you need to vote to stop him
[01:06:59] and everyone around him is also
[01:07:01] hitlerian and that's a very difficult
[01:07:03] thing to square it is very difficult to
[01:07:05] square all the things that she said on
[01:07:06] the campaign Trail about the threats to
[01:07:09] America there will be giant internment
[01:07:10] camps which Democrats were saying that
[01:07:12] that that there that every woman in
[01:07:14] America was going to be put under the
[01:07:15] gun that that essentially All rights
[01:07:17] would be stripped from you with the sort
[01:07:19] of inspirational rhetoric she was using
[01:07:22] right there and here's the thing if she
[01:07:23] had campaigned as this K Harris maybe
[01:07:25] she would have had had a better shot if
[01:07:26] she hadn't tried the scare tactic of
[01:07:27] claiming that Donald Trump was Hitler
[01:07:29] with seven mustaches and more orange if
[01:07:31] she hadn't tried that maybe people would
[01:07:33] have taken her more seriously or maybe
[01:07:35] they wouldn't because it turns out that
[01:07:36] was just a bunch of platitude in this
[01:07:37] nonsense again in the end the thing
[01:07:39] about KLA Harris is nothing because she
[01:07:42] is nothing she's a standin for a party
[01:07:44] machine that speech could have given
[01:07:46] been given by 1,000 different Democrats
[01:07:48] nay a billion stars of Democrats it
[01:07:50] could have been any Democrat in the
[01:07:52] United States who gave that list of
[01:07:53] platitudes and bumper stickers that
[01:07:55] absolutely nothing when ripped out of
[01:07:57] any sort of context or any sort of
[01:07:59] meaning and because that is the case
[01:08:01] what you have to do is look behind the
[01:08:03] facade that is K Harris of the
[01:08:04] democratic party and that's the reason
[01:08:06] she lost she didn't lose honestly I
[01:08:08] would feel bad for her if I thought that
[01:08:09] she she actually were a real human being
[01:08:11] but the fact that she is an NPC and that
[01:08:14] she effectively is just a standin for a
[01:08:17] party don't feel bad for the party that
[01:08:19] you represents because that party is
[01:08:21] lying to you they put up these
[01:08:22] platitudes and these bumper stickers so
[01:08:23] you don't look through the Veil
[01:08:25] they don't want you to see the actual
[01:08:27] policies they pursue this lady who says
[01:08:29] that she was a prosecutor this same
[01:08:31] person suggested on a questionnaire from
[01:08:33] the ACLU that taxpayers should fund the
[01:08:35] transition of illegal immigrant
[01:08:37] prisoners this same person who is
[01:08:39] talking about be friendly to the
[01:08:40] stranger who you just meet on the street
[01:08:43] that same person was personally
[01:08:45] attempting to bail riers out of prison
[01:08:47] during the George Floyd riots in
[01:08:49] Minneapolis the same person who was
[01:08:50] telling you that young people you ought
[01:08:52] to have hope in the future was also
[01:08:53] telling young people that they
[01:08:54] effectively don't have any hope in the
[01:08:56] future unless they're having their
[01:08:58] student loan debt relieved by the grace
[01:09:00] of government the agenda does not match
[01:09:02] Rick it never match the rhetoric the
[01:09:04] rhetoric is completely empty because KLA
[01:09:05] Harris is completely empty and that's
[01:09:07] why she deserved to lose it's why no one
[01:09:09] I noticed that for all the talk in the
[01:09:11] media about how she was brat and joy and
[01:09:12] wonderful can it Joy Reed said she ran a
[01:09:14] flawless flawless campaign that for all
[01:09:17] of that ain't nobody talking about her
[01:09:19] running again in 2028 weird if she's
[01:09:21] that great a candidate they should be

[01:09:24] about that so I think we can all bit a
[01:09:26] fond farewell to KLA Harris from the

[01:09:32] Tim Kane meaning that in about six
[01:09:34] months time you won't remember who he is
[01:09:36] except he sort of REM reminded one of
[01:09:38] Don Rickles in some sort of bizarre way
[01:09:40] cross between Don Rickles and Gumby and
[01:09:42] uh and that's going to be the last you
[01:09:44] hear of KLA Harris so once again goodbye
[01:09:47] to KLA Harris raise a glass at your exit
[01:09:49] can I say I'm I'm disappointed that she
[01:09:52] did not announce her re-election bid
[01:09:54] during that speech

[01:09:57] for out of the speech and we didn't get
[01:09:58] it but maybe they'll run like they're

[01:10:23] she ever deserved so for her I guess you

[01:10:27] this fluke I almost became president I
[01:10:29] made it to be VP when I really had no
[01:10:30] business doing that and uh okay now it's
[01:10:33] over Jo I come in the morning it's not
[01:10:34] just the bizarre policies that those
[01:10:37] speeches cover up it's the open po the
[01:10:39] central policies things like price
[01:10:41] controls which is a Soviet idea the
[01:10:44] taxing the money that You' made on your

[01:10:48] pure robbery the misinformation idea

[01:12:35] spirit but didn't actually say anything

[01:12:46] stock I don't know but that person we've
[01:12:48] never seen before and that person might
[01:12:50] could have made in a lot of concession
[01:12:51] speeches a lot of people give their best
[01:12:53] speeches in concession because the off
[01:12:55] and it's all over and and I don't Grant
[01:12:57] Donald Trump superpowers but he did get
[01:12:59] shot in the head and fight back I think
[01:13:01] you know just just saying just
[01:13:03] saying listen I voted for Donald Trump I
[01:13:05] think Donald Trump does a lot of good

[01:32:10] year that was the year that they ran on
[01:32:12] the front page of the New York Times a
[01:32:14] photo showing an Israeli soldier who is

[01:33:24] a very high expectation of people
[01:33:27] generally and particularly have a very
[01:33:29] high expectation of of your fellow Jews
[01:33:32] the truth is most people are only
[01:33:35] beginning to wake up to the fact yes
[01:33:38] that the media is not credible that's
[01:33:39] fair most people what I'm saying and it
[01:33:42] is incredibly hard to change your priors

[01:34:26] impacted at all yeah by the actual
[01:34:28] record of the man being president they
[01:34:30] they are still reacting to him as though
[01:34:33] it were the year 2016 because they came
[01:34:35] to a conclusion in 2016 by the way I
[01:34:37] came to that same conclusion in 2016 I I

[01:34:41] Dennis Prager in 2016 some of the things
[01:34:43] I said came true some of the things that
[01:34:44] I said did not the presidency of Donald
[01:34:47] Trump was the test of the theories that
[01:34:48] I put forward in 2016 and now I can tell

[01:34:52] which parts didn't and can tell you how
[01:34:54] that's impacted how I see Donald Trump

[01:38:55] advocating for absolutes but no humans
[01:38:59] live within the realm of absolutes
[01:39:00] humans live in the very very messy thing
[01:39:02] called reality and in the messy place
[01:39:05] called reality when we say I only say
[01:39:07] this for the audience you know my
[01:39:08] argument because you've heard it but
[01:39:10] when we say for example you know if you
[01:39:12] if you want to have a successful life
[01:39:14] it's easy there's really only three
[01:39:15] things you need to know don't have sex
[01:39:17] before you or or don't um no
[01:39:19] childbearing before no childbearing
[01:39:21] before marriage and a job finish higho
[01:39:23] get a jobish and get married but but Ben
[01:39:26] has has cited this study many times that
[01:39:28] the three most determinative things
[01:39:29] don't have a child before you're married
[01:39:31] uh High finish High School get a job but
[01:39:34] most people to whom we're speaking if
[01:39:36] they're if they're not already living
[01:39:38] the life that we're trying to call them
[01:39:40] to have already failed at one or two or
[01:39:42] three of those things and so we have to
[01:39:44] make sure that while we're advocating
[01:39:45] for our set of values we leave room for
[01:39:48] people to live in the messy world and
[01:39:49] draw and draw near to um because by the
[01:39:53] way we we also don't perfectly embody
[01:39:55] our values at best we're trying to draw
[01:39:57] near uh to God and we have maybe
[01:39:59] different points of view about exactly
[01:40:00] how that's accomplished
[01:40:02] but that that's the only place where I'm
[01:40:04] pushing back and pushing back in
[01:40:05] particular because I know that I think
[01:40:07] that
[01:40:08] you in some ways because of your
[01:40:11] superpowers uh in some ways because of
[01:40:13] them it can be hard for you sometimes to
[01:40:15] see that mere mortals sometimes are
[01:40:17] striving towards something because I I I
[01:40:19] get that but but I will say that I think
[01:40:22] particularly because the last year has
[01:40:23] been with the last year has been of
[01:40:25] course it it it is an angering thing
[01:40:26] that people have not woken up
[01:40:29] earlier like like that I mean again I
[01:40:32] hope that your friend really holds by
[01:40:34] that I hope that your friend does
[01:40:36] reconsider I hope that the whole
[01:40:37] American people take this opportunity
[01:40:38] frankly to reconsider the inevitability
[01:40:41] and the reality of Donald Trump's second
[01:40:43] presidency and stop looking at it
[01:40:45] through the prism of msnbc's linguistic
[01:40:48] inability to understand Donald Trump and

[01:40:59] left have said that voters paid

[01:41:03] life was better under Trump and I hope

[01:41:48] a deep religious phenomenon going on
[01:41:51] which is like so much of liberal ISM
[01:41:53] just an ape and an inversion of
[01:41:55] Christianity just in Christianity
[01:41:57] especially drawing from the neoplatonic
[01:41:59] tradition that comes up through the
[01:42:01] Scholastics and Christianity going back
[01:42:03] to St Augustine even there's this notion
[01:42:05] that existence is good so there is good
[01:42:08] and good exists we're not living in a
[01:42:10] manakian dualist world where there's the
[01:42:12] good force and the bad force and they

[01:45:16] home they pulled him out of line at the
[01:45:18] airport in LA and arrested him they they
[01:45:22] had years two you three years to have
[01:45:25] done this in fact they had raided his
[01:45:26] home and still not and they arrested him
[01:45:28] at that moment and so here was seaka
[01:45:29] realizing and I say this to say there
[01:45:32] are genuine genuine consequences of
[01:45:36] Elections and here was a man realizing
[01:45:38] in real time what this means for him as
[01:45:40] a as a person and the question from the
[01:45:43] member is do you think Trump will pardon
[01:45:46] everyone from January 6 and the people
[01:45:48] that were jailed for praying in front of
[01:45:50] the abortion clinics I think he he if he
[01:45:54] that would be the worst possible sign

[01:45:58] opportunity to advance his agenda in any

[01:46:10] committed acts of violence there were

[01:53:49] them to come a little deeper into
[01:53:51] conservatism I think you know we they're
[01:53:53] on our team now and team politics is
[01:53:55] important so let's bring them in so that
[01:53:57] that's that's very idealistic and I
[01:53:58] think almost totally wrong so I I think
[01:54:01] the reason I say that is because Donald
[01:54:03] Trump went through the Republican
[01:54:04] National platform and stripped three
[01:54:06] quarters of the policy out of it he
[01:54:08] forcibly he forcibly dissociated from
[01:54:11] Project 2025 and then said publicly week
[01:54:14] before the election anyone whose name
[01:54:15] was in Project 2025 could not be part of
[01:54:18] the administration so the idea that he
[01:54:19] didn't make concessions in order to win
[01:54:21] a broader Coalition is not now I I think
[01:54:23] the answer to the question is it's
[01:54:25] situational okay so one of the things
[01:54:26] that I think is really important
[01:54:28] particularly in our line of work is to
[01:54:30] separate the principled from the
[01:54:32] pragmatic these are not exactly the same
[01:54:34] thing and when you are in the practice
[01:54:35] of Politics the principle has to be
[01:54:37] tempered by pragmatism so it's our job
[01:54:40] to say how far politicians are string
[01:54:41] from principle and then it's their job
[01:54:43] to try and get 80% of the pie and so the
[01:54:46] question is how much do you have to give
[01:54:48] up in order to continue to receive 51%
[01:54:50] of the vote and I think I mean let's be
[01:54:53] real it was a landslide in the terms
[01:54:55] that we use for presidential elections
[01:54:56] and a landslide I mean like normally if
[01:54:58] you say
[01:54:59] 5148 that's that's now considered a
[01:55:01] presidential landslide in any other area
[01:55:02] of American life if you said that you
[01:55:04] had a room of 100 people and 51 voted
[01:55:05] One Way 48 voted the other you wouldn't
[01:55:07] go my God that's a blowout You' say
[01:55:08] that's that's pretty close in other
[01:55:09] words this is a very very tightly
[01:55:11] divided country still clearly right
[01:55:13] we've had three consecutive incredibly
[01:55:15] tight elections and if you go back
[01:55:17] before Barack Obama you had a very tight
[01:55:19] election in 2004 and a very tight
[01:55:20] election in 2000s this is a very close
[01:55:22] the divided country what that means is
[01:55:24] William F Buckley who is now widely
[01:55:26] derided for reasons that escape my
[01:55:29] understanding um William F Buckley once
[01:55:32] said that the the purpose of a primary
[01:55:33] is to select the most plausible
[01:55:35] Conservative candidate who could win
[01:55:37] right the most Conservative candidate
[01:55:38] who can win and that is the same answer
[01:55:40] today who is the what is the most
[01:55:43] conservative thing that you can push and
[01:55:44] still win and still win it sounds like
[01:55:46] ugly to us because we're in the business
[01:55:48] of principle and it should sound ugly
[01:55:49] because pragmatism is dirty it's what
[01:55:52] you said about you know religious people
[01:55:54] getting involved in politics it means
[01:55:55] that you have to make concessions and
[01:55:56] Bargains with things that you don't like
[01:55:58] listen as you say I'm I'm as Pro Jeremy

[01:56:01] issue I'd love a candidate who came out
[01:56:03] and tomorrow said Constitutional
[01:56:04] Amendment banning all abortion in the

[01:56:10] alienate Joe Rogan and Al all the people
[01:56:12] who voted for if Jo if Donald Trump had
[01:56:14] run on a platform that we all approve of

[01:56:20] went back to like the 2004 platform
[01:56:23] traditional marriage no abortion even up
[01:56:25] to even if you took the George W bush
[01:56:27] position with exceptions for rap and
[01:56:28] incest it would have been too much for
[01:56:29] them those positions Rogan's not on
[01:56:31] board elon's not on board okay that's
[01:56:33] the reality the the entire the
[01:56:35] Republican party just jettisoned
[01:56:36] two-thirds of its economic program in
[01:56:38] terms of spending I'm old enough for

[01:57:45] American people are somewhere between 12
[01:57:46] and 15 weeks on abortion banss if you're
[01:57:48] looking at if you're looking at
[01:57:50] entitlement spending the americ people
[01:57:52] are fine with entitlement spending they
[01:57:53] don't want the entitlements touched they
[01:57:55] want that maintained and they get very
[01:57:57] very scared anytime anyone talks about a
[01:57:58] serious entitlement reform including
[01:58:00] Smart Ones like the one that should have
[01:58:01] been done in 2005 when George W bush
[01:58:03] essentially recommended you know for all
[01:58:05] the hatred we have his proposal on
[01:58:07] Social Security would have made this
[01:58:08] country so much richer it's not even
[01:58:10] imaginable okay he suggested that we
[01:58:11] just take what you were putting into
[01:58:12] Social Security and put in a private
[01:58:14] savings account that would have been
[01:58:15] invested in the stock market can you
[01:58:17] imagine if they had done that the stock
[01:58:18] market is currently riding at 43,000 the
[01:58:21] Dow Jones Industrial Average I don't
[01:58:22] even remember what it was riding at in
[01:58:23] 2005 I promise you it was a fraction of
[01:58:25] that so all that's been genison okay and
[01:58:28] and may the American people don't care
[01:58:30] about that they also don't want high
[01:58:31] taxes they want low taxes they want High
[01:58:33] spending they want some abortion
[01:58:35] restrictions but not tons of abortion

[02:01:15] Vice President Harris and Governor walls
[02:01:17] to extraordinary Public Service servants
[02:01:19] who ran a remarkable campaign and we
[02:01:21] will always be grateful to the staff and
[02:01:23] volunteers who poured their heart and
[02:01:25] soul into electing public servants they
[02:01:27] truly believed in including
[02:01:31] Hitler as as I said on the campaign
[02:01:33] Trail America has been through a lot
[02:01:35] over the last few years from an historic
[02:01:36] pandemic and price hikes resulting from
[02:01:38] that pandemic to Rapid change in the
[02:01:40] feeling a lot of folks have that no
[02:01:42] matter how hard they work treading water
[02:01:43] is the best they can do those conditions
[02:01:45] have created headwinds for Democratic
[02:01:47] incumbents around the world and last
[02:01:49] night showed that America is not immune
[02:01:51] the good news is these problems are
[02:01:52] solvable but only if we listen to each
[02:01:54] other and only if we abide by the core
[02:01:56] constitutional principles and Democratic
[02:01:58] Norms that made this country great in a
[02:02:00] country as big and diverse as ours we
[02:02:02] won't always see eye to eye on
[02:02:03] everything but progress requires us to
[02:02:05] extend good faith and grace even to
[02:02:07] people with whom we deeply disagree
[02:02:09] that's how we've come this far and it's
[02:02:11] how we'll keep building a country that
[02:02:12] is more fair and more just and more
[02:02:15] equal and more free wow what about the
[02:02:18] existential threat though I I want to
[02:02:20] say that this is a gracious statement
[02:02:23] much like her very gracious statement uh
[02:02:25] probably written by the same
[02:02:27] person and it is obvious that they are
[02:02:29] setting up their next move they're
[02:02:32] saying we believe in the peaceful
[02:02:34] transfer of power which is obviously a
[02:02:36] repudiation of trump and they're saying
[02:02:38] that we have to abide by the
[02:02:39] Constitution they're talking about
[02:02:40] Democratic Norms they are obviously
[02:02:42] prepping to shift toward a full assault
[02:02:45] against Donald Trump for f for being
[02:02:47] violative of the Constitutional Norms
[02:02:50] it's not the first time they've they've
[02:02:52] trotted out this particular play I don't
[02:02:54] think it works again no I think you can
[02:02:57] only impeach the guy twice I know that's
[02:02:59] not in the Constitution but practically
[02:03:01] twice as well the biggest problem that
[02:03:03] they've got is that what are the things
[02:03:05] that he's going to do that they're going
